Love this app!
Great app. Works like my LR5. 5/5
By I am...NowHearThis
Great app! Works just like my LR5 on my desktop. It won't do everything the full LR can, but it will make great photos even better. I shot some amazing shots of a balloon festival last weekend with my Olympus Pen-F and Leica 12-60/2.8-4 lens. I imported my favorites on to my iPhone to see what LR for iOS could do. And I was extremely impressed at the results. Best photo editing app on the iOS. I like it way more than ACDSEE now.
I don't want to sync every photo to the cloud!!! 1/5
I don't want to have every photo on my camera roll synced to the Lightroom Cloud!!!
I want to decide which photos I sync. I get it, you sync every photo and then my cloud storage gets full and then I have to pay for "extra" storage, but I don't want that!
Absolutely love this app, I also love who it you get the most out of your camera when taking pictures in the app
Unusable now 2/5
The new GUI is so large and not transparent. Also there is a Saturation bug. The photos appear differently in Photos and in Lightroom after rendering. Photos sometimes freezes so I cant edit them at all. Fix it please...
Very Helpful on the Go. 4/5
By A guy with common sense
It's good for work on the good and it's fairly easy to pick up. Adobe Cloud definitely helps with on the go work. The only concern I have is that the sliders are difficult to be exact with. If it was possible to put in a definitive number it would be just about perfect!
Love it!! 5/5
Love the mobile and desktop app!!
Great app but needs a few tweaks 3/5
Love this app with the exception of one major missing item it would be really great if it would give you physical feedback for a focus point like it does horizontal and vertical. After using this app for a few days shooting cars for a auto dealer to post on the web, I just assumed that the quality of the images would be superior to the native camera on my iPhone. My images kept coming up blurry. Do to the nature of my work, I have to handhold my phone. Despite my trying to hold the phone steady. I then tried the native camera and was completely shocked to see that the images were sharp as a tack. I again assumed that this app would utilize the built in camera stabilization apparently it does not. Very disappointing to say the least. While I can see how this app would be great for landscapes and such. Unfortunately it does not work for my personal needs.
Lightroom is great on any platform 5/5
As a CC user, it's been great to work in Lightroom on any of my devices. Great App!
By Zimri Padilla
This is a really great app to edit photos on the go. I take pictures often and this app has come in handy many times. However, I don't know if they cut the feature or if the trial expired. All I know is that I was able to edit raw photos for months. Now, it's telling me I need to have a creative cloud account, which costs money. Totally kills the experience for me. If you shoot jpeg and like it, this app is for you. But this push towards the cloud is just rubbish. I don't have a need for it since photoshop and Lightroom on a laptop is a lot of money and I have another photo editing program. Oh well. I guess back to VSCO.
Always the best from Adobe 5/5
Simply flawless integration and love the accessible with using creative cloud. Hands down best post processing software available!
Addicted to this app 5/5
After learning some in depth methods about editing the lighting curve and individual color saturations via YouTube, my iPhone 7 Plus pictures absolutely POP thanks to this app. Totally worth $10/month for CC to unlock a few features and get Photoshop and Lightroom desktop apps.
For every photographer 5/5
It's a must have in your tool box! Makes it fun to play around with edits!
Raw editing is gone w/update 1/5
By Matt from San Diego
If you don't have auto update on for apps, don't update to the newest version of Lightroom unless you have a subscription to creative cloud. The developers now require creative cloud membership to edit raw files, a feature that was free. ❌ ❌ ❌
Must have for all modern photographers! 5/5
By JP Jacobsen
Wow! I had tried 3 years ago and found worthless but now... Ow boy!!
After putting 1-2 hours effort I was able to integrate with my desktop Lightroom and do most of my casual work/Instagram on my phone.
Really impressed by how smoothly the software runs on my IPhone 7. Even with RAW photos taken with profissional cameras.
Congrats to all developers behind this masterpiece software.
IT WAS FREE TO EDIT RAW FILES 1/5
Why WHY did you change this rule?
I have been using this app on my phone to edit raw files no problem AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY?!?
I don't have that kind of money.
Change it back please.
Best app ever 5/5
Great editing and shooting in raw is awesome 5/5
Being able to shoot in raw really extends the functionality of the 6s camera. If you are at all familiar with Lightroom for PC or MAC then you won't have any trouble working with this app.
I dig it 5/5
By Ligit Reviewer
Better than any other editing app I've used before.
Works As Expected 5/5
Adobe Lightroom under promises and over delivers with beautiful image results in a mobile app that rivals many desktop applications. Thank you for the many considerations infused here. I am a fan!
Photographer's Dream 5/5
By Maldenite Productions
I started with Photoshop 2.0 and then the genius of Adobe creates Lightroom. Expect nothing but the best!
Syncing made easy 4/5
Seriously that's the best part about this: the syncing. I also love the non destructive edits (so I can revert back to the originals) across all my devices and the fact that it's an easy-to-figure-out iOS app.
Love it, easy to use
Great when it works... 2/5
The app will die with no warning on startup if it has no connectivity and it wants/needs to check the license. This happens after updates as well. It gives no explanation, it just dies. So when you need it most you find it won't work until you find a signal. As a backwoods photographer this is EXTREMELY frustrating.
So 5 stars WHEN it works. 0 stars for the lack of notification of why it's dying and the very random news for connectivity.
Truly the most useful app ever - if you're a photographer 5/5
By bgrayscott photography
I can't say it loud enough. This app makes my life as a photographer 10x easier. Making first round of cuts is faster than desktop. Full editing capabilities don't get used often but when I do use them I'm giddy over the fact that i used my phone.
Lightroom To-Go 5/5
It's simple: this app is a mobile version of Lightroom. Sure, you need to pay for Lightroom or have a CC membership to use it, but that's expected from a well written and executed program from Adobe.
It doesn't have spot correction, but that's hardly needed for something on the go.
Still editing photos with instagram? Try this product. It's eons better.
Creating magic 5/5
My initial app for all photo editing. I've been able to create captivating masterpieces that generate likes and loves from my following. Love the ability to upload to Lightroom and then edit apps like Photoshop Fix and the cast of Adobe mobile apps.
A must have for photographers 5/5
I love this app, as a professional photographer it's not always easy to carry and pro dslr but this app helps to capture the right composure and edit it with ease. The ability to shoot raw was a deal breaker!
Change at the flick of a finger 4/5
By Miss PixieIce
I am really loving having Lightroom on my phone! It makes it super easy while in the go to get the mood of a photo just right! The controls are very easy to use. I'd say the app over all is very user friendly! I could be nit picky about little things, but it's a phone app. There is only so much you can really do, and I am very pleased with what I am able to do!
Amazing app 5/5
This app is very good at anything you want your pictures to do or look. It is amazing.
Excellent to be able to edit photos on the go while working with clients.
Bring Transform back!! 2/5
I bought an ipad pro specifcally for RAW editing on the go with lightroom. the old version had most desktop features, especially Transform. I do not understand why adobe decided to remove it in the new LR mobile. The new GUI is also super annoying - way too many clicking just to copy presets.
To developers 3/5
By The Great Dustino
I really love this app, it's editing capabilities are amazing and it's all I use because I cannot afford a decent laptop or computer at the time for the desktop version. I realized you have to have a monthly subscription to the creative cloud to use selective editing and I understand why, but I have no use for the creative cloud at the moment and I wish there was a way to get selective edits with a 1 time purchase. To be honest I wouldn't care if it was 10 or 20 bucks I think it's worth it because there is nothing like it on the appstore right now. Please consider the people who only use a mobile device for editing, most of us don't need the creative cloud or just can't afford it monthly. Thank you for such a great app.
30-day trial 1/5
Be warned, the new app forces users into a 30 day trial then they'll shut it down. Even if you don't use or need the cloud storage or desktop app.
Lightroom works well and I love how it is tied to the desktop version. But it doesn't have all the features that the desktop version does. I have the new iPad Pro!!! Let me have the full set of tools.
I can't batch paste settings to multiple photos at the same time. That really slows me down.
There is no brush tool so the cool Apple Pencil is almost useless.
Lots of features in the desktop version are left out.
I want the full set of Lightroom for my iPad. It can't be that rough.
Update: the Lightroom app was recently updated. I'm writing now (8/8/2017). They added everything I needed. Great job Adobe. It's nice to feel like I was heard!
one time purchase in app for mobile 4/5
i suggest can buy for mobile lightroom only directly in mobile without pc seperately.i hope 😬
Amazing software. So much better than the native Apple camera app 4/5
Really great piece of software. Love RAW HDR. So much more power and flexibility than the Camera app. Things I wish were better? Would love it if they could do a version of "Portrait mode" where you could shoot RAW. That would be amazing and a decisive advantage over Apple. I'd pay money for that. I also think that there should be an option to "delete all" the RAW files after you are done editing it, for those who shoot RAW and process to JPG. Deleting them by selecting every individual file is very annoying. Also, it would awesome if you could select a bunch of files in the browser and apply a series of edits (like one that you copied and can paste individually) to all of them at once. Would also be great to have an option to select a bunch of pictures or an entire folder and save them all to Camera Roll using some default save settings.
Other than that- it is pretty fantastic. I'd love it if there were just a pure RAW camera app that I could use when shooting, and then I could use LR to edit the photos. Not a big deal though- it is unobtrusive.
Interface Shrunken Withered & small 2/5
iOS devices are nice and small, so we need every square mm to edit properly…
Now we get a 1/4 screen?? Come on, just give us the old option with tools on the bottom. This isn’t a 27 inch iMac!!
Why did they change the interface? 2/5
There's even less room for your photo now, and they removed gesture-based starring. Not a fan.
Great app 5/5
With the addition of the brush this is the best app for editing and syncing photos. Well done!
Rip VSCOCam 5/5
This shall be the the game changer of the century.
Save as TIFF 3/5
I use this app to do my basic edits like highlight and shadow save and fixing colors. the only thing i would like to be able to do is save the dng file to my camera roll as a tiff file instead of a jpeg incase i want to edit in another app
Best Photo Editor 5/5
I just picked up this app a few days ago, and it's impressive how great it is. Everything is easy to learn and use while still being extremely effective. Lightroom has made my photos much better and fixed all of the problems with the lighting.
Wish it worked. 1/5
I installed Lightroom and the camera within the app worked great. However, when I would try to use the iOS camera, it Would glitch and the screen would freeze or go black. I use portrait mode too much to justify keeping the Lightroom app installed. I wish it worked for me because it's one of the best editing apps I've tried.
They killed off speed flagging?! 1/5
I literally bought an iPad just to be able to speed rate weddings while on the go. Now the flag/unflag assignment is a super tiny button. No longer is it a swiping gesture. Ugh I'm so bummed!
By Game reviewer 1111
Brings the desktop capabilities right to my phone! Really great app highly recommend.
I love this app! I can pair it with my creative cloud account and edit photos I took on my DSLR, and publish them to social medias, all in one. I love it!
Finally Lightroom mobile is getting closer to Desktop experience 4/5
Lightroom is really getting better and better! Apple Pencil support makes finally close to the Desktop app experience.
Unfortunately there are still small bugs with syncing. In many cases the full-sized photo doesn't make its way to the iPad. I edit it on the Desktop, it get synced, It looks good on the thumbnail on the iPad but when I open full sized photo it's still the old one. Especially when I edit its contents in Photoshop.
Also I really really need the full-sized mode where there's no UI on the screen, only photo, no borders, no gray background, no frames. no User Interface, no additional lines, buttons, gray stripes etc. Just the photo and pure dark backround. I think I'm not alone in this. Lightroom really likes to display UI everywhere. I suppose it's like that only when I click "play" in presentation mode? But it's not enough. I need to be able to showcase my images by swiping them.
But in any case Lightroom mobile finally got much much better. A way to go! Yay.
One glitch, otherwise I love it. 4/5
It says all my photos have been synced, but there's a day worth of photos that don't show up in my Creative Cloud folder online, or on my desktop. Please fix this.
I love how adobe make it for the mobile, now what would be super cool is that you guys make Premium cut CC Pro for mobile next!
