First of all, I can’t log in because it always says network error even if I’m connected to internet. Second of all, the fact that I can’t paste into the password box is irritating. Lastly, why dexcom hasn’t configured their apps so that there is only one for both glucose readings and analysis is so strange to me.
Used to love it 1/5
By Starved for talent
It won't even let me log in anymore!! It just keeps saying network error even though I have internet. I've been trying for months and I've deleted and re downloaded and updated the app.
Amazing Data Reports 5/5
By Eddie Red Death
I love this app!!! Since installing my CGM last month I've been able to clearly and accurately track my levels and see where I have room for improvement. I now have reports I can share directly with my doctor to base action around lowering my A1c. I recommend anyone using the Dexcom CGM take advantage of this awesome app!!!
Invalid username or password 1/5
Hi! I live in Italy.
I downloaded your app and I created the Dexcom account.
On the pc I can access while the phone tells me.
What can I do?
Really helpful 5/5
I have diabetes and the Dexcom G5. And the G5 app on my phone. This app shows your averaged blood sugar number.
Version 1.4.1 3/5
This is a great app but its last version doesn't work. I can't see the report. No matter if I choose 7, 14 or 30 days, it doesn't work anymore. The previous version worked perfectly in my smartphone.

There is no pricing listed for this app yet it requires me to enter my credit card info and "buy" the app.
Not a good way to convince people to use your product.
Missing A1C 3/5
Please fix the A1C feature! It has been missing for weeks. This is a very useful feature.
Bug fixes 5/5
Love the app. But app doesn't download most recent data when generating. Feb 8 2017 - Feb 21 2017 data will post
Where did the a1c go???[ 2/5
Why did you remove the A1C from this app?? That is such an important measurement of how well you are managing your diabetes and was incentive for me, and so many others, to try to bring down every time you opened the report. Please bring it back!!!!
Regarding A1C from Dexcom 3/5
By Terry Shike
I found this info on their website for the app:
Dexcom CLARITY has Temporarily Removed eA1C
Dear Valued CLARITY User:
Dexcom has temporarily removed the estimated A1c (eA1c) statistic from all CLARITY reports and screens. We have done this in response to feedback on the statistic. We’re working on revising the software to include more information on this statistic in the near future. We know that many of you have come to rely on this information and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Dexcom please fix MISSING A1c 3/5
By biffster 101
used to be a great app, very helpful to reference information personally and to allow sharing with physician, however Dexcom please fix the missing A-1 C reading (obviously the most important statistic on the app) which has been missing for weeks.
Please fix the A1C metric 4/5
Love this app for tracking my daughter's average blood sugar, but recently the app stopped displaying the A1C. It says 'metric temporarily unavailable.' Please fix it, that was one of my favorite features.
Room for growth 2/5
It would be nice to see the recorded Carbs, Insulin, Exercise, and Health that was input during the day on the Dexcom Mobile app. This graph just shows a very high level overview. It would also be nice to select a day or date range to look back at trends
Data gone! 1/5
By Mr. Marblekid
Tried to generate a PDF- got a response that "we don't have your data yet". ?? Dexcom - please fix!
Bad update 2/5
The update erased my historical data!!!
Great medical technology!! 5/5
The Dexcom CLARITY(TM) Reports is very helpful to get a general sense of my diabetes control went on the go. Dexcom clarity website is even better!
It's Good, but not Great 3/5
Well they should call this a snapshot, because that is what it is. You have absolutly no way to change the report settings. So it's good if I want to see a quick 14 day overview, but there is not much else you can do. No where near the features you have online.
Nice PDF report 5/5
I like being able to see the data in the graphs and in a very presentable format using the code share option
The app only provides 2 functions:
1. Gives you a code to share with a healthcare provider giving them access to your glucose data
2. Display a PDF report of your last 2 weeks of data. The app provides zero options to customize any part of the report. It is truly one size fits all. You can't change the date range. You can't chose what data elements to show in the report. No options whatsoever.
What a shame. What a missed opportunity to provide patients with valuable data in a straight forward app.
And then..... 2/5
Ok I got to see the most limited data ever for an app. This app has so much potential. Let's get on with it Dexcom.
Needs some work 2/5
It works ok but looks like it could use a few things different. Do something different with the dismiss bar when giving away a code. Anything besides making it huge.
All that data from the sensor but only 1 pattern report available. What a joke.
I like it when it works... Which is rare 1/5
I know my user name and password, and I can log in through a PC, but the app won't let me in. It keeps saying it's a network error. I've called technical support, but they aren't able to help. I thought it was just me, until I read some reviews.
Completely useless as it will not log me in. 1/5
I know my dexcom username and password. I get a "network error" every time I try to log in informing me that the app is unable to contact the server. I've tried from wifi and over cell.
I'd give it less than one star if possible 1/5
I installed the app and fought with it for a couple hours trying to get it to work but no such luck. I finally got mad and uninstalled it. I'll stick with Diasend.
Could be better 2/5
By Monsterkid132 :)
This app has a lot of potential but the app giving me a "network error ". I will be so happy if they fix that problem…
Other than that the app can be great for people who want to share their blood sugar information with their doctors. Also for people who (have the Dexcom share feature or the Dexcom G5) can shared their blood sugar levels with their family.
By Jeff Lebowski aka The Dude
Has potential 3/5
This app has potential to get better. I like to see my trends and averages, but would like to see 30 and 90 days data. Maybe in the future all data could be viewed online to a dedicated website.
More work than it's worth 1/5
By the time you log in to the website twice, download the file, install the file, plug in your G5 to begin syncing, open the app on your phone and download your report, you will have spent fivefold the amount of time and energy on this thing compared to what it actually does. Not worth the time or energy.
Needs ability to Copy code 4/5
By Rosie 007
So far my only complaint is not being able to easily copy the code that you are supposed to give to someone. You either have to be near and paper and pencil (which is not usual as I am out with the kids or running errands) or keep double clicking your phone's home button to see multiple screens and then go back and forth to manually enter the code in an email. Please add this request to your next app update. It's saves a huge headache. Thanks!
To be honest, I'm disappointed in this app. I am still using a paper log because I want to see daily carbs and insulin intake. This does not provide that information to me. I could never download info on G4 website and was so hoping this would take care of that. To me this is pretty useless.
Little more than a toy 2/5
First - Please make the sharing code selectable for copy/paste! It's such a pain to transcribe when sending to my care team.
Second, give me my raw data in exportable (CSV) format pronto.
Third, if you're only going to let me have your overly simplistic pretty graphs, at least give me access to the same selection as the web version, especially date range modification.
What is it with all these diabetes care providers deciding I'm not competent enough to see the complex data anymore? I understand defaulting to a simplistic overview, but let me flip a switch and see what I need to see. Without full access to the data, I can't graph my CGM data against pump data (insulin & carbs) exercise and finger sticks. A holistic view is essential to good care and you are arbitrarily preventing that.
But really, sharing code y'all, make it copy-able!
Useful complement to Dexcom G5 but way below Dexcom Studio 3/5
This app is a useful complement to Dexcom G5 CGM. It gives immediate access to average glucose levels in the past 14 days; percentage of time within, below, or above target and average readings during the day.
The app falls short of providing the useful statistical information provided by other software like Dexcom Studio: no standard deviation (a key indication of the variability of your glucose readings), comparison between current week and the previous one to evaluate your performance, and so on.
I understand that maybe Clarity does not want to be as overwhelming as Dexcom Studio might be for someone not particularly comfortable with statistical or quantitative concepts, bu, at the very least, the goal should be to offer the option of getting the same indicators for those customers that appreciate more information.
I am confident these additional indicators like standard deviation will be progressivley incorporated in later versions. In the meanwhile, I do not recommend Windows users to rely only on Clarity. Dexcom Studio remains a way superior option.
Nice start but, 3/5
This is a nice start but why only 14 days? I need at least 30 days to see trends and 90 would be ideal.
Not useful for analysis 1/5
This app on the iPhone provides little value, other than generating a code to give to someone to view your data. You need to login to the Clarity website to view data, which is primarily a few charts without numerical values (like ranges, standard deviation, etc.). Dexcom Studio is a far better tool to analyze BG trends.
App only works with G5. G4 still needs manual upload.
Works with G4 4/5
By T1D Dad
My mistake when first downloaded as well, but you need to download the full Mac/PC version to upload your data from the receiver first. It won't analyze your share data (yet?). The full version pulls data from your receiver similar to STUDIO or Portrait.
This app serves to simplify the data analysis of your cgm trends to help you make changes in basal and boluses in any easy to understand format. It goes beyond what's been done before by analyzing your trends and offer suggestions (albeit simple suggestions) and modifying your regimen.
As the dad of a T1 toddler we can use all the data analysis we can get. More excited to see where this tech heads in the future.
A Great New Tool! 5/5
This works great with my G4. Be sure to download the PC/Mac uploader software from Dexcom's website so you can get your data from your receiver up into the cloud. Once you do that, the reports seem to be available right away on the app.
It looks like the website version of Clarity has more reports and tools available, but this app seems great as a first step and hopefully it will have more available over time.
Will this only work with G5? 3/5
Adding this to description would be helpful if that is the case.
