Drop Scale App
Please download Drop Recipes, the new home for all the features of the Drop Scale app.
The Drop Scale app worked seamlessly with our connected kitchen scale to display your weight readouts. But now, all the functionality of the Drop Scale app has been moved to our fully featured app, Drop Recipes, which is available in the App Store. Tap on “Developer Apps” below to find and download Drop Recipes.

Drop Scale app reviews
Redirect stupidity 1/5
This is just dumb
I don't like this app is useless
Real Review. 5/5
So the idiots before clearly didn't read what this app actually is. It works with their cooking Products to display the numbers on your phone and other things. It works just fine. No one decided to read.
The only thing I have to say about this app is that I wasted five minutes of my life that I'm never going to get back. Did not work with anything that I dropped on it or left on it. Useless.

Would give zero stars if possible. Waste of time nonsense doesn't even work.

Don't waste time it definitely doesn't work
Doesn't work 1/5
Doesn't work at all
For all the people saying it doesn't work - you need to have the scale!! You can't just put what your weighing on top of your phone!!
Complete junk 1/5
Does not work at all. Reads zero all the time no matter what weight of object. How is AppStore put this in their offering without verifying the functionality of the app? Or, was it gamed at the verification before submission to AppStore ?
Does exactly what it says 5/5
This app is absolutely perfect for the basic quick weighing out of items. I use it exclusively for measuring coffee beans.
The full version for iPad is great for recipes, but I didn't want to grab my iPad every time I needed to weigh something.
For all the one star reviews saying it doesn't work, it does. It's more likely operator error with turning on the scale. Love that it auto connects via Bluetooth with no required pin.

The idea of these would have been so helpful, but all I get is "0" no matter how much I put on it.
doesn't work 1/5
says 0 no matter how much weight I put on it. useless
Great scale; iPhone (not iPad) app needs some work 3/5
Love the scale, however the iPhone app needs more features. Drop's blog (getdrop.com/blog) is great and mentions a November 2015 update will add recipes to the iPhone app.
Add iBeacon + iOS 9 app suggestions functionality. Currently using the scale for my morning weighing of food (I use this for calorie monitoring) makes it a bit cumbersome to have to unlock & launch the app manually (I put drop's app on the home screen to ease in finding it) but it would be easier if an app suggestion appeared when the scale is nearby.
Developer API and/or add fitness centric functionality to Drop app:
It would be great to add support for 3rd party apps to use the scale. I use a few apps to log food for nutritional intake analysis and it would be great if those apps were able to use the app to log food in real time; e.g. I have ~100 grams of oatmeal every morning but sometimes add different toppings thus affecting calorie count, this scale can be used to simply all that data input like you've done with the iPad app recipes + auto-guide.
Good But... 3/5
I love the scale (but I wish it was bigger and a flat surface). A different design would make using it better for me.
The app is great and easy to use.
The reason why it's 3 and not 4 stars is because there should really be a feature for you add and organize your personal recipes. I would pay a could amount for an app that had a scale and all recipe input, organization and portion scaling.
It's nice that you can search through drops recipes but I'm a professional baker and I have my own recipes that I'd love to have saved digitally all in one place.
Weigh items with my Drop scale using iPhone 4/5
I love that I can weigh with my Drop and iPhone 6 but I wish I could use the recipes too. I hope they come out with it soon.
