The app is nearly useless merely pointing to every chain franchise’s supposed to be equipped to accept Apple Pay. It is riddled with errors (showing McDonalds or Starbucks or BigPharma stores where they do not actually exist, or have closed).
It’s not possible to do something as simple as “show me hardware stores nearby that accept ApplePay”and the search function is worthless.
Very useful app 5/5
I had never idea how many places except Apple Pay till I downloaded. I great for us who prefer to Apple Pay. The more we allude it the faster all businesses will need to adapt and offer.
Helps A LOT 5/5
Works great! Love it! Been able to use it frequently.
The Apple Maps app already does this 4/5
Not sure if anyone realizes this but the stock Apple Maps already shows if a location has Apple Pay support. And if you search for "Apple pay" it will show all the locations that support it. It's also more accurate and comprehensive than this app.
Excellent crowd sourced Information 5/5
I entered more complete info for an existing entry only to discover an error. The developer responded and made corrections very quickly! Definitely not an orphan app. Very comprehensive coverage in my location, a small city of about 8,000 people and several satellite communities. Highly recommended also for usability. My only wish is for the ability to search across the country for places that you are yet to travel through and not nearby.
Can be a lifesaver 4/5
There are certain situations when this application can stand between you and disaster. I recommend you put this on your phone. I place it next to my map programs.
Of course I was without my wallet (rare) and Way out of position. My car was out of gas.
I found out that you can buy shell gas cards at Walgreens and Walgreens takes Apple Pay. But using Locator I found out chevron takes Apple Pay too. I found out because the Shell station was closed and I used the map function to find anything near by that took Apple Pay.
It was late at night and the attendant who barely spoke English said they don't take Apple Pay. However putting my full trust and locator I told him that he does in argued with him until I got him to try the phone against the Pay terminal bypassing it through that little drawer at the gas station. If it hadn't worked I wouldn't be writing this review :-)
Map function does need some work I did land in the ocean first but eventually it woke up to my location. I live in the San Francisco bay area where this application was probably written so your mileage may vary as to how useful it is elsewhere.

This is the second time I've downloaded this app to see how it's working. The first time about a year ago it was a total disappointment. Not enough working features or user input to make it useful. Most recently the map feature still does not work(what I was most interested in). It doesn't show Apple pay locations and it still defaults to the ocean even with your location on. Apple Pay locations only show up in list and is too reliant on user input which seems to be sparse to non existent in my area(downtown Harrisburg PA).
Won't let me put in address 3/5
Remote great feature but when I click to add business it won't let me add address
Seems best when AT the business
And when I want to edit location can drag pin to proper location
Neat but needs buffing
Works Like A Charm 5/5
Used Locator several times. Works perfectly. Love the get directions feature.
Saved me from a sticky situation 5/5

Takings my kids out for a treat and left my wallet at home. Found the pinkyberry ice cream that takes Apple Pay. Kids were happy. Saved me a lot of whining. Perfect App.
Love it!! 5/5

Love this app!! It has helped me find lots of places !!!
Very poor 3/5
Great concept but poorly done. Needs MUCH better search capability (buy category, nearby, near a location) I tried to add a new location and it didn't even let me enter an address. It would only add your current location. As I said, great idea but very amateur.
Locations not accurate at all! 1/5
Locations not accurate at all. A pin for Starbucks SFO Terminal 3 at Market and 10th Street in San Francisco and Jamba Juice inside City Hall?
This app doesn't list anything. Total crap. Deleted it!!!!

Don't waste your time 1/5
This app was no help.
Terrible app! Nothing loads in the app. I deleted it 2min after downloading it.
Simply. Didn't. Work.
It's crap 1/5
When trying to pull up in list it's always saying offline error
I gave up and deleted it 1/5

It would never load any data. There was always an error. I was stuck without my wallet in another city. Was hoping this would help me find a gas station to use my Apple Pay. Nothing. No help at all. I made several attempts to use it both there and my home city. Maybe it only works in certain locations. I deleted it. Thankfully I did not pay for it like so many disappointing apps out there.
This doesn't work at all. 1/5
This doesn't work at all.
Worst app I ever bought. Don't wast your$ 1/5

iPhone 7 plus on T-Mobile and solid internet at home. No locations show up in current version. A glorified maps app now. Deleting. This is spam ware as far as I'm concerned. A way to make ad revenue.
Used to work 1/5
Doesn't work anymore. 😩
Worked every time !! 4/5
Not too many locations , but the ones i did use at Mcdonalds && Gas Stations did work ! Keep improving ! good job thus far 😌

Doesn't work. Waste of time 😩
Can't add other locations 1/5
You can't add other locations than your current location. Absolutely useless.
Decent app & one suggestion 3/5
Just recently started to use this and I'm finding that for some services such Gas they require their third party App. I suggest this app list those companies/ locations and info on app required to support. The Exxon/ mobile App Speed-pass allows users with iPhone to pay at pumps with ApplePay after scanning pumps barcode and communication with their system. Very handy to have after you forget / loose your wallet on a road trip. (Trust me)
Not accurate thus not reliable 1/5
No one ever answers emails about closed stores reported. They just stay there.
Not accurate, should allow for other locations 1/5
I tested it with what I knew were locations that took Apple Pay only to discover that they were not listed. Would be nice if it would let you view locations other than the one I am in. Why other locations? Might you ask. I plan oh going on a trip in a couple of weeks and it would be nice to include this knowledge in my planning.
Poor Performer 1/5
I waited five minutes for a list of local merchants to load and it keeps loading and loading and nothing happens. I deleted the app.
Doesn't work at all 1/5
Always shows loading never actually does anything
Completely garbage, twice now I've been lead to two different gas stations and ended up in some deadend or neighborhood. Trash
Need more Apple Pay 5/5
By Light challenged
I love using Apple Pay. It is extremely convenient and more secure than carrying cash. I wish more places would use Apple Pay
It's really bad. 1/5
I know it's free and all but many of you will likely download while driving or something trying to find Apple Pay locations. I went to three locations in a row that were not correct.
Worst app ever!!! 1/5
By Number on fan
This app has places that doesn't even exist. I left my wallet at home and I wanted to buy something so I downloaded this app so I can find a store that accepts Apple Pay. It told me that there was a 7 eleven that that was near buy that accepted it, so I drove to the 7 eleven. When I got to the location where it said the 7 eleven was, there was no 7 eleven.
So I drove drown the road a little and I saw a BP gas station. On this app it said that BP didn't accept Apple Pay. When I arrived at the store I ask the gentleman at the register if they accept Apple Pay and he said yes. I extremely don't like this app because I think it should be more reliable.
Great app!! 5/5
Thanks. Works perfectly
Needs more functionality 2/5
I've added a few places near me, but I would have added a lot more if I didn't have to physically be at each location to add them.
Could use a region search. Would also like the ability to rate locations without having to physically be there. I'm sure no one thinks to do that while they're trying to get their stuff to the car.
It says Target takes Apple Pay, it doesn't. It doesn't show Subway, and they take Apple Pay.
Not at all accurate 1/5
I've attempted to use this several times, without much luck. It's told me business locations accept Apple Pay when they don't, and not informed me of at least one business that does accept Apple Pay. So in its current state, it's not of much use...you still have to physically go check out each business personally, as you can't rely on this apps accuracy. Another issue I found is that if you want to add a business yourself, you have to actually be at that physical location to add it, since the app defaults to showing your phone's current location and won't allow you to manually enter an address. This means you either remember to add, or rate, your Apple Pay experience while still physically at that location, or you can't do it at all, as there's no way to do so after leaving.
Looks good 4/5
I tried another app that claimed to identify AP stores - it was useless. Now this one looks like it has great potential !
Works well so far, but how come it only shows locations in a 6 mile radius from my current location? How am I supposed to know what locations accept Apple pay near my office, my friend's place, or in other cities?
Simply add a "search current area" and set the parameters for 6 miles from location in center of the screen. DONE!
