All ads and maps I can’t get rid of . 1/5
Usta work . Lots of garish graphics that look like a children’s
computer game . How is it possible to sell data paid for by
taxes to an outfit like this who
effectively mask its beneficial
use by the people paying for it ?
One more thing we don’t have time to go after .
It’s No RadarCast - It’s Actually Way Better! 5/5
When the server was taken down for RadarCast, I began searching for a suitable substitute. This ain’t it.
Embarrassed Update: turns out, the problem was operator (me) error. I’m using the free version so far, and once I learned how to navigate around the ad land mines this turns out to be a pretty nifty app. I now find it even more useful than RadarCast.
One of the things I liked about RadarCast was it’s simplicity. I make the same 600+ mile road trip back and forth regularly. I can travel on any day I please, so I go on days with better weather. The way I used RadarCast was I set pins all along the route and then I just clicked on them to get current and future weather. Clean and easy.
However, whatever this new (to me) app lacks in that kind of simplicity it more than makes up for in its richness of information. And considering the wealth of additional information presented, it is remarkably simple at that. I just had to learn how to use it effectively.
I especially appreciate the 10day charts and the dynamic timeline obtained by running ones finger across the charts. Doing so reveals hourly precipitation, temp, wind, and barometric pressure. Also, you can see the big picture clearly just by glancing at the charts.
Another plus for my particular use of the app is that as I move through it from one pin (location along my path) to another, the data presented are the same as for the previous location. That is, I don’t have to scroll up or down or click on a tab to get to the same place on the page as I was for the previous location on the map.
Bottom line, this app facilitates my road trip planning better than any other one I’ve used. My apologies to the developers for my premature bum rap and my kudos to them for doing such a good job. Thanks!
Good Hurricane tracking 1/5
By nicholas barretto
This app has very good Hurricane tracking in the world but the thing is the hurricane tracker doesn’t work right it doesn’t show the next advisory and the cone doesn’t change I hope the hurricane tracker on this app will be fixed during June 1st the start of hurricane season
Ad Trap - Surprised at NOAA 2/5
Waaaay to much advertising. They are relentless and some are VERY scam-like. Could be a really good premium app too, but the auto-renewing subscription cost is much too high per day, per month OR per year. Another otherwise useful app ruined by greed.
Short name is misleading 2/5
When the app is shown on my iPad it is "NOAA weather" but it is the radar app.
When the weather app is shown it says "NOAA radar"
Can you guys change the order of the words on the apps? The icon images are incredibly similar, that it is confusing too.
I like it 5/5

Let the past be 2/5
Every app shows past radar. How about offering future radar predictions.
little utility 2/5

Not good any more 2/5
Cloud animation no longer works on iPhone 5s, the main reason I got it. “My Radar” is still the best, even though it has no animation for clouds.
The old version allowed me to balloon pin sites. I can not figure out how to pin sites on this version??!!
By This is my 3rd nickname try
It’s snowing and it has been snowing yet your app just says it’s overcast
Terrible app 1/5
By Cuff huff1121
The paid version has No More Info than the free, it just doesn’t have the add at the bottom!!!! Not worth the money or memory in your phone!!
This app is terrible, my Siri is more accurate! This app says the weather will be cloudy and a high of 27 all day but it’s 34 and sunny right now!???? It’s now accurate and I need a better app! Working outside I HAVE to know when it’s going to rain and what the day looks like! I’m so sorry I purchased the add free version!! 😭 total waste of money! They newest update ruined this app! It was accurate for years but the makers cheaped out and get their 3 party info from a terrible source! Total crap!
Update 1/31/18- The developer’s generic response I have seen on many different Ratings from other people doesn’t make me feel like you’re paying attention to this problem! I feel like you don’t care about this problem or that you have taken my money and not provided the service that I expected! This app has BIG PROBLEMS, If you wanted to try it go with the free version but do not pay for the other version is exactly the same thing with out the little add at the bottom! Total waste of money!
Not working 4/5
Just paid for one year subscription, stupid me. I should’ve tested the basic functions first. Apparently, the search city function does not do anything. Therefore I cannot access any forecasts or charts. Not happy
Edit: the problem I was having apparently was a bug that has been resolved. The functions of the app are useful and I expect to use it regularly
It’s all junk!

Unable to add or search for new cities 1/5
Search function inop. Good luck trying to search for or add new cities.
Did not work for me 1/5
By Humble hunter
Was watching a blizzard outside my window and nothing appeared on the radar app. Deleted and reloaded several times without luck. Hmmm.
Where’s the forecast and chance of rain percentage 1/5
By M Stevens
Radar layers is unclear
Very sporadic information, sometimes it’s good and sometimes it just will not update which is rather frustrating. Most of the problems are with island nations like St. Martin and French Polynesia.
Temps are way off 2/5
The forecasted temperatures are always way off. For today example my low tonight it’s 28. A town 30 miles north is said to only drop to 50. No consistency. Will go back to using my local news app.
Today it wasn’t possible to remove an ad to “Go Premium” for this app. Realizing that possibly the only way to get rid of it was to comply and buy the upgrade, this was done. In the past, the app had been accessed only when rough weather suggested it should be. Now the intent seems to be to make this app the “go to” place for all weather information. While this may be reasonable, The Weather Channel (by Watson) has become my favorite. My preference MAY change.
Best weather app!! 5/5
Absolutely the best weather app out there.
Lots of talk about how accurate it is. I just downloaded it. When it opened to the radar it showed clear for my location, Bend Oregon. It’s dumping raid outside as I type. It has been for a few hours. But the radar map does’t show the raid. Hello?
A must have!! 4/5
Indispensable planning and at the golf course. Is that dark cloud moving in from the west full of rain. How wide is it. When will it hit here. What's coming in behind. All in the tap of a button. And in live time color. Love it. Cancel your tee time. Let's give a look and see if the drizzle will last.

Better than MyRadar lately 5/5
By Game nut666
MyRadar used to be my go-to for weather, but lately not so much. It’s become very confusing as to the precipitation, showing big light green blobs instead of indicating snow or rain and where it actually is. The NOAA app is much much better, including forecasts, which seem to be more accurate than the TV weather forecasts. And it also shows the weather outside the US. It’s become my go-to.
Accurate gps location fail 1/5
It doesn’t pin point your current gps location for the weather. Don’t like it.
Never right 1/5
By no faith in this
Right now it is snowing all across central Indiana. Once again this app radar shows clear skies.

Terrific service — especially during this time of year!

As a house painter I NEED this!
Together w/ a local forecast, I’m accurate about 90% of the time for a 3 day period.
This app is a scam. It’s not the NOAA app and it won’t give you alerts
The kids have a great day 3/5
I am happy to hear that you’re going back to my house to get my new car back to you soon
Not worth paying for 1/5
This app is only good for radar. There is NO forecast with possible rain or snow accumulation. I WANT MY MONEY BACK
Easy & Smart! 4/5
Great app! I use it all the time. Much more reliable than “Dark Sky.”
Most accurate forecasts 4/5
This is the best weather app I've ever used. For some strange reason, it has been randomly closing on its own. Please fix!
I miss noaa weather free 4/5
I just got my first iPhone and was dismayed I could not find the app for my Apple 8. Your radar was part of the features rich app I truly miss. Now I have to use 3 apps to get the same information. Please make it available on Apple.
It could be easier 5/5
Should go to radar right away

Love using this handy weather app both in my home city and while traveling. I have the free version but considering upgrading to the paid version.

Very dependable, thank you
Not as dependable 3/5
By Red Bay Fun
The app is no longer operating well, doesn’t update forecasts and sometimes the temperature will say 70 something and it is in the 40’s
Difficult to find weather info
Very nice. 5/5
By Warm Blanket.
I like the accuracy of the information.
They could probably do better with the design. The numbers and icons are too small.
And, hate the super intrusive ads. Sadly, if you want to upgrade to no-ads app, you have to pay for a monthly subscription. A bit ridiculous.
Excellent weather forecasts that is available 24/7
The Home tag covers the whole screen basically.
