Zero. Longtime subscriber unable to read an issue since 10-5-2017. I have wrote the publisher via email and deleted then reinstalled the app. This is bull$hit. iTunes subscribers are get the shaft. There has been no communication as to potential problems or a possible solution. Just radio silence...I will add this to my list of one way communications leading to the cancellation of my subscription.

I absolutely love the magazine, however the app is not showing the articles (perpetual hourglass) and only the ads. I have reinstalled, and signed out and back in and still nothing. Please help!

I know APPLE seems to have control over magazine apps. Apple, you stink at it. What r u doing with the money you get from publishers. You deliver a product that doesn’t work. FIX IT.
I haven't been able to load my last 4 issues of RS on my iPad. Customer service keeps directing me to ITunes, through which I bought the subscription. I finally spoke to a RS agent today and was told that they've discontinued the app for iPad. Funny that their still taking my money.
Come on RS, you can do better.
This app is terrible. Every time it updates, I have to call Apple to help restore the subscription.
I hung on for another year's subscription and this app has not improved at all. I wonder if the creators of the app or the magazine have even ever tried to use it?
I own a subscription for a year, and I've had it for a few years. But this past year has been awful with downloading the next issue, I have missed like 1/2 this year and won't renew next year. I try to sign in and it won't let me. Very frustrating and for some reason not easy to use...

I don't know what the problem is but the only way I can get to any of the RS issues is to pay for them again. I've tried logging on several time and the app still won't let me view issues I've already paid for. I'm about to give up. 4-8-2017. Still having problems. I discovered if I remove and then reinstall the RS app, I can download the latest issues. 9-2-2017. Too much trouble. I got some issues by reinstalling the app but still can't get others unless I purchase single issues in addition to my yearly subscription. Just not going to do it. I quit. Bye Rolling Stone. Let me know when you have an app that works.

After multiple calls to apple support & RS - I cannot download issues any issues for the past 8 months. THIS AP IS A CHARITY!
This experience has poisoned the water for me and any digital magazine content.
If you have an extra $20 laying you would like to make a free will donation to Apple and is the AP for you........nothing in return but the great feeling of getting completely hosed.
This app is perfect for someone like me who wants to read my favorite magazine anywhere,anytime!! The app is lightning fast & the pages are always crisp & clear! I completely recommend this one!

Updating my review and increasing rating since today I’m able to download issues. The app itself is fine, from what I can tell more or less a page by page version of the hard copy version
Edit: back to one star. App is incapable of recognizing that I have a subscription, no matter how many times I try to restore purchase. I have turned off auto-renew subscription and will be giving up on this magazine because of this app. Bye.

Just won't update new magazines. Customer help won't load. Frustrated and sorry that I subscribed. I know the magazine is good - but not on this app. Waste of money. Follow up: Apple were great and gave me my money back. Rolling Stone were worse than useless (very useless) and avoided all responsibility. Their loss. My recommendation; gave your hard earned cash to someone that cares.

all issues appear but only some allow downloading and reading - others offer a preview with the option to buy - iTunes support referred me to the vendor and the vendor doesn't offer support but referred me back to iTunes support - consequently, a problem with a subscription I paid for without a solution, refund option or support

I've been a loyal reader for years, and as much as it pains me to delete this app, I must because I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO READ CONTENT THROUGH IT FOR OVER A YEAR. Have you tried to contact the app developer? Don't bother. The form doesn't work. The link to "Click here to see answers to the most frequently asked questions" doesn't work. So I'm going to email bomb every email address at Rolling Stone that I can to try and get them to get a decent app developer to provide a good app for their publication, because Werner Media, whoever they are, ain't it.
The worst part is that Wenner Media is the owner/publisher of Rolling Stone, They clearly don't have the resources in-house to write a good app and provide proper support for it. I wish RS would look to the app writers for Wired or The Atlantic for a model that supports paid subscribers and allows free limited browsing for casuals.

My apple account says I have a subscription until July 20th. But the app won't let me download new issues, says I have to subscribe or buy. Apple is no help with this issue. Rolling Stone even less. Steer clear of this
I am subscriber for life. So I will always get the print version. Will not pay for digital as well. I now read all my mags on iPad, so find I don't even read my print issue anymore. Sad.

This app is really buggy, and honestly one of the most low effort apps I have ever seen. They don't update and apparently don't listen to their subscriber base.
I've been able to sign in once, when I first downloaded it almost two months ago. I subscribed and was able to download one issue before it crashed on me. I was signed out and I have not been able to sign back in since. I keep it on my phone so I can try over and over to restore my purchases to no avail. And the best part is, I keep getting billed for having a service I cannot access. Stick to the paper version.

I have been a RS subscriber for so many years I can't remember not getting it.
A few years ago I migrated from print to the iPad app. Every time my subscription renews there's problems, like the app asking me to restore purchases.
Now I can't restore purchases. Can't download the latest issue as the app says I need to subscribe ( my subscription is good until February 2018).
I've contacted customer support. But they just keep shuffling me around and asking for the same info over and over.
I've provided them with screenshots and all the info they've requested to no avail. I just keep getting canned email messages saying they have assigned my request to some department and they'll get back to me.
Lousy customer service.
I bought an annual subscription, stopped working after 4 months. So multiply the subscription cost by 3. Neither AAPL or Rolling Stone were helpful, both passed the buck to each other. At least they got my money.

I like the editorial content of RS and it's articles. The current iPad app leaves much to be desired. To read an article I need to constantly 'enlarge' a page to be able to read it and then shift it around to move through the article. Former version allowed you to pull up the article text which was so much easier and iPad friendly.
I have had to remove and reload the app twice as previous editions of RS could not be viewed. The cover appeared in the library but when I went to view it, it was blank. Very frustrating.
Some articles that I have bookmarked 'to save' often go blank, forcing me to remove and reload.
This app was better at one time and it was 'improved' but could not prove it by me. It was not broken, why was there an attempt to fix it?

When I first subscribed to the digital+print edition I was able to access every issue of RS online. That was one reason I subscribed. Then one day I discovered I had no access online at all. I finally called and got my access restored but only the most recent issues are available and I have to download them. I can't browse. I think this is a deal-breaker for me.

Worst app. I get better coverage and articles through their social media. I had hoped app and online subscription would send me notifications and updates on published works. It does not. Downloads take up space, doesn't download properly, makes you go through each magazine edition separately, confusing digital menu, doesn't keep me signed in & overall not a great app honestly, which is unfortunate bc I paid money and am getting nothing. And RS has been a standing favorite publication of mine. Please make this a better app. It's just awful.

I have subscribed to RS for over 35 years and have a coveted lifetime subscription. I was using the app for occasional off site reading. They recently pulled my subscription for digital content and have sent me the most confusing string of mails telling me alternately that I have it forever or I don't have it at all. Happy to share the e-mails. I will read the print and get this crappy thing off my phone. Sorry, RS. You failed.

I paid for a one year subscription and automatically realized how horrible this app is. Nothing loads accept for adds, even on wifi. I can't log in and even after I paid for a subscription, it still asks me to spend money to subscribe. I canceled the subscription immediately and better not be charged. For such a great magazine, this app is an epic failure.

I love Rolling Stones writing, I love the political coverage, the music coverage of course is excellent. Restoring the app opening the app using the app is clunky. I can't even get it to recognize my subscription. Very very buggy

Wow. This is, without exception, the worst digital subscription experience of my lifetime. Horrid customer experience, no customer support and epic fails trying to open on an IPad over time. Forget about it.
