Never using this app again 1/5
After waiting 2 hours on my order which was supposed to take 35 min to deliver, I realized that my food wasn’t going to make it. I then tried to cancel the order but apparently they don’t allow you to cancel an order once you send it in. So I guess I lost my $15 after spending $4 for a bs tapingo service fee and tip for the driver who never showed up. Normally I wouldn’t be too upset but this stuff happens almost every time I order on here. Thanks tapingo for wasting my time.

Used to use this app all the time for Starbucks on campus and now for the past month have been getting nothing but "order failed". Customer service claimed it was a problem on the merchant's end and that it should have all been fixed but a month later and it still doesn't work.

People don’t wait 15 minutes to wait out of line to have their order cancelled when it’s out of stock. Offer an alternative instead of wasting people’s time when an item is out of stock. It’s frustrating and inconsiderate

I use this app at work (hospital). Only get 30 mins for meals and sometimes it would take 15 mins to get food from cafe at work. Now I put in my order, pay, and food is ready to be picked up as soon as I start my lunch break. It’s the best!!

I have to delete the app every time I want to order. There is a glitch when going to the log in page where it won’t even let me get there when shutting down the app. I don’t know if it because I have the account connected with my Facebook but it’s quite frustrating.
Takes a long time for bug fixes 2/5
This app was fine. Then one day about 2 weeks ago, it quit working. Now every time I close the app, I have to reinstall it. If I don’t, after I open it, it tells me I need to login again and then just stay like it is loading, for hours.
I’ve had a couple updates since, nothing is fixed.
2 weeks for a bug? That’s a long time. Time to delete the app and stop trying.
Terrible drivers and customer service 1/5
So I placed an order and got a call from a driver saying they were arriving at my apartment. I go outside and waited for 20 minutes for them before I noticed “order unclaimed” status. So I contact customer service and went back and forth with them for an hour about my order because the driver claims he was there before I can receive a refund. So now I have to wait 3-7 business days for money they took 2 seconds to take out of my account while crying and still hungry.

My coworkers and I ordered food at 11:37 AM on 2/14/18 and it was delivered at 1:20 PM. I understand if you are backed up, but our delivery driver showed up to my place of work, called my coworker to announce that he/she was outside. Unfortunately, my coworker was with a client and unable to reach her phone so the delivery driver left without coming inside to drop off our food. After we contacted them, we were told that it would be awhile before they could make it back. When the food was finally delivered, it was soggy, cold, and the order was inaccurate.

For example, I ordered McDonald at ten because I want to enjoy my paper night, and it already takes me two hours to wait for it. Half an hour ago I texted the deliverer and he freaking told me he just ordered it. Now is 12:18 AM, and I'm still waiting for it. You can't get refund and it takes forever to get your food.

I’ve used Tapingo for 4 years now (I am a senior at USC) and have loved it up until my final semester, where I has literally failed to even keep me logged in, let alone allow me to order food. Very frustrating. Fix this bug soon!

I tried to get in contact with them several times to help me fix an issue. Never heard back from them. If you can’t do customer service right and actually take care of your customers, then I’m not going to use your services and help you benefit. See, it’s a “you help me help you” thing and Tapingo customer service obviously doesn’t care. You get 5 stars from people who are probably not having issues and just know they have a food convenience. You get a 1 star because the customer service is terrible.
So, bottom line, I’m deleting the app at this point.

I have to constantly delete and re-download this app to make the login process work. It says “do not recognize Facebook username” but I am not even using Facebook for his app.

Worst customer service with the some of the laziest delivery guys. A few days ago i ordered 3 sandwiches for me and my friends on the super bowl day. I waited 3 hours till they realize that the food is not going to be delivered. This wasn't the first time either, i am having really inconsistent results with them.
I suggested them to add “tips” to be paid “after” the delivery is done so i could fairly tip people. But they failed to implement the idea i guess, with the new patch now we are forced fo tip before the delivery is done. And they force the amount as well, you don't choose how much you want to tip. I definitely wont use this app anymore thats what I'm sure.
There was one time i ordered some stuff from minitap, the courier delivered 8 items wrong. They issued an 8$ discount for my next purchase. Its just joke.

Orders more often than not come either insanely late and/or cold, don’t come at all, or are completely wrong. Every time I contact support for this all they can do is a $2 discount. Yeah $2 off an already surged price, you’d think after having countless orders messed up they would do more to try and retain their customers. Dropping the service entirely

So disappointed in an app that updated 4 days ago. I can’t seem to complete any order I place! Keeps giving an error to check my internet connection or restart the app? I have the latest iPhone and no app has given me this issue.
The app keeps glitching and kicking me out. I am up to date with the app so not sure why the Facebook issue is still happening.

I recently saw that the previous update was for a Facebook login fix. I’m now having problems using the app itself and I’ve been prompted that tapingo doesn’t recognize my Facebook login?!

If you have an android don’t even bother, the app never refreshes when places get busy so you can spend time making an order then find out at checkout you can’t get food there anyway. Half the time it says places are closed when they aren’t too. It’s too unreliable to be useful.

After waiting an hour and forty minutes for my food which was quoted at an hour for delivery, I received food so cold I couldn’t eat it. I also received the wrong drink, and no straw. Obviously displeased with the service, I filed a complaint about the bad service. The driver could have at least called to inform me they didn’t have my drink option, but instead they chose a drink a random. Tapingo doesn’t allow you to tip after the fact either if you’re using a card- it only allows pre-tips. I waited for weeks for an email response to my initial complaint, and I emailed them again. They finally replied about a week later and just said “thanks for the feedback”. Did not offer a refund or anything. So I emailed again asking for a refund, because I didn’t even get to eat the food. Weeks later, still no reply. I email again and finally receive a response, and they gave me $8 in credits on Tapingo, only replacing half the money I spent on the first order. When I emailed to ask why I was only receiving half credit back, they ignored my email. Again. Tapingo pick-up is fine, I’ve never had a single issue with that. Delivery and customer service however- completely awful.
Not able to stay signed in 1/5
In recent versions of this app, I haven’t been able to stay signed in. It throws an error message saying I had the wrong password, and fails to even take me to a login screen. I have to reinstall the app to log back into Facebook, just to place a single order. Then it repeats when I want another order. Please fix this.

I don’t know why you’re forced to tip couriers now. Half of the time they take 30 minutes longer than it says they will.

I’ve been using this app for my entire first semester of college. The food was almost always way too late (2+ hours) but I put up with it. I just placed an order, waited an hour and a half and was notified my food was delivered. It wasn’t. When I reached out for help the person was slow to respond and was no help at all, so I contacted the courier and she was extremely rude. I’m probably never going to use this app again because of the lousy service and unacceptable behavior.

I wish I could bare to explain the repeatedly unbelievably terrible experiences I’ve had with this app but I just can’t afford to stress myself out that much. This app is cancer. I’ve never rated an app before in my life but I just feel like I cannot morally let this go by. It almost feels like the help operators are just intentionally trying to screw with you sometimes because the customer service is so god awful. This app company deserves to be boycotted and ran into the dirt. It’s just completely pathetic, do not download this app unless your trying to piss yourself off.
Trouble with changing which card is my default payment type 3/5
I love the app! But my problem with it is that I can’t change my card default and it’s getting ridiculous I have to delete the card and add it again etc etc it’s very annoying.

So I have been using this since my freshman year of college and now I suddenly can’t even get the app to load. This is the only app i have this issue with so it’s kind of clear to me that this isn’t an issue with my phone. The message i get as soon as i open it is that my login is invalid and then the app does not load. It is faster to just go to the restaurant and order things myself.

Love the app and I use it whenever I can. That is, if it works. Oftentimes the payment methods aren’t recognized. Payment methods that have been on my account for a long time and that I have used before are either recognized as invalid or just wont let me use them at all.
All in all it’s a helpful service. I just wish this issue wasn’t so persistent.

Impossible to reset to a new account 1/5
The first card or account you use will work fine. But if you have to replace your card or change your account the app has no way to change it to a new card. It automatically selects the first one and refuses to validate your new account to order on even if you manually select the new card. Deleting restarting or anything else you try doesn’t work.
I only downloaded this app after incessant nagging every time I tried to order on my PC. I won't even go into how frustrating it is to order online anyway, with it redirecting you and signing you out constantly. And now, if I close the app ONCE after logging in with Facebook, when I reopen it it tells me my username and password do not match and treats me to an infinite loading screen. I have deleted and redowloaded the app 3x now to "fix" it, so I know it is the fault of the software. Given all the issues with Tapingo, it's easier to just go to the place you're ordering from. Save yourself the frustration.

I called Starbucks to try and order some drinks for my daughter and her friends. The Starbucks employee advise me she couldn’t take the payment over the phone nor help me with Starbucks app issue i was having. So recommend this app to order the coffee due to that Starbucks location being franchise.
I did, however there was never an option to select an address, I placed the order assuming the app would know which location based on being franchise as I was explained. Turns out the location it sent that order too was not the correct one and was 4 blocks away.
I called to try and move order to correct location. Was not allowed and was told to bad by tapngo to refund money.
So they charged me the $$$ but no product was given.
