Description

The APO password manager has all the features you would expect from any high-end password manager, plus a few features that will make your life just a little easier and safer. There is always a balancing act that software companies must go through when deciding between features that keep your data secure and how easy it is to use the software. From the feedback we have received from security minded people, as well as technophobes, APO has struck just the right balance. The goal has always been to make APO secure, easy for you to use, convenient, and reasonably priced. Your data is strictly your own. APO does not and never will have access to your password file. You can back up your data to your Google Drive, and sync across all major platforms. You don't need to pay us (monthly) to store your information on our servers. We use OpenSSL for our AES-256 encryption module. This source is so reliable that the Windows version is FIPS certified for use by the military, as well as the medical community. The other platforms are expected to soon be FIPS certified as well. For 99% of you reading this, that is already more than you need to know in order to make a decision about APO. For the geeks out there, we have even more to offer: 1. You can store your 2-step verification (TOTP) shared secret for websites/systems supporting the Initiative for Open Authentication (OATH) architecture. APO will generate and display the authentication token, saving you from having to install an authentication app. 2. You can easily share a password manager entry with another user by having them scan a QR code. 3. You can share multiple entries with another user by sending them (via email, cloud drive, etc.) a password-protected shared entries file. 4. You can create shared APO files for family, or work. These files will sync via a designated Google Drive. The files (as many as you need) you create can be dynamic, allowing anyone with access to edit, or read-only, allowing only the creator of the file the ability to edit. 5. Once you have logged into your main file, all other files shared with you or created by you can be opened without having to enter additional credentials that are specific to that file. 6. You can store all of your WiFi connection info in APO. New visitors to your home/office can join your WiFi network on their phone by scanning a QR code presented by APO (the visitor does not have to have APO to do this). 7. You can display your Ether public address as a QR code, making it easy for someone to scan the code and send you Ether. 8. APO is a secure Ether/Bitcoin cold storage wallet with back-up to the cloud. 9. Categories for organizing your information, and you can create folders within a category to group related items together. 10. Pin frequently used items to the top. Everything else is kept in alphabetical order. 11. Built-in search function for when you can't remember where you stored some information or when you can't remember the name of the file, only something you put in the notes. 12. APO will remind you when your ID/Credit card is about to expire. 13. Your APO file is not visible on your Google Drive, for added security.
