Just wanted to say that this app is fantastic. It is very helpful in watching what you eat. I would not have been able to make the progress I have without this app.
I tried a few others, and they pale in comparison. I also appreciate that they don’t inundate you with ads in an effort to force you to buy the pay version
That being said, even though I didn’t really need any of the features of the advanced paid version, I decided to upgrade just to support the company. I appreciated the extensive databank, lack of annoying ads, no pressure to buy, and the phenomenal format. I want to see them continue, so I paid for what I don’t need.
My ONLY wish would be that they would show what a “serving” is on many of their products. When looking for comparisons, sometimes you see something similar listed at a restaurant entry, but it shows per serving, without listing the “serving” size. Just a small quibble as with a little more searching, you can generally find a suitable replacement

I've tried a couple other calorie counting apps, but this one is easier to use and more inspiring. Iespecially like the food entry, exercise entry and the daily analysis portions of this app. It's keeping me on track and I'm loosing weight....70lbs lost!

I just wish that I was able to search for homemade foods such as guacamole and get the nutritional information for it. If I’m making homemade turkey taco lettuce wraps, putting all that info separately is a pain 😐

This app hasn’t been updated in 11 months, meanwhile the paid version is updated on a regular basis. Why have you abandoned your users of the free app, that’s poor.

Easy to use calorie counter. I just needed something simple to track my meals, nothing fancy or complicated. This app is much better than the other three I tried before this one, the other apps were always sending me stupid notifications and it drove me crazy, even in the middle of the night. This one is much better, and not intrusive.

Love the app so much it is now on pc and iPhone. Downloaded to Kindle as upgrade. Could not sign in. Seems app not supported on android and your money will not be returned.

I’ve tried a few different apps and so far, this ones my favorite! Its so user friendly. It’s opened my eyes to how many calories certain foods are. It blows my mind, when i think my salads healthy but it actually is not. And all the new revisions only make this app so much better every time. Great app!!!

I have tried every kind of diet out there: baby food, pineapple, juice cleanses, zero carbs. You name it, I’ve tried it. But somewhere in the second week I see a French fry and shove it down my throat faster than you can scream “STOP!” Nothing worked and I couldn’t keep track of my progress either and it was incredibly frustrating, especially since I have no control. Earlier in the year I noticed that I would eat every carb and junk food I could find in my house. I never exercised and I would just eat and eat until I felt sick and continued to lay around watching Netflix. I knew I needed to change because I have a history of health problems in my family related to poor eating habits and a lack of taking care of themselves. Plus, a year ago I was 6 pounds lighter than I was this year! So I said screw it and decided to get an app to count calories. It has been so incredibly effective that I’ll never go back! I bought a small, cheap kitchen scale to weigh and measure my food and I had no idea that most restaurants actually have nutritional menus. It has been 2 months and I have lost 18 pounds! This is the fittest I have looked in 5 years!!! I have dropped several inches and even had to change my entire wardrobe since I lost all this weight and I don’t even exercise that much. I found out that I love power yoga and I eat everything I want in moderation (thin mints and golden Oreos are my go-to desserts). Heck I even still get to eat my pizza and ice cream! I love this app and would recommend it to everyone! Actually, 4 of my friends have actually gotten the app based on how great the results are on me! It is a must have app for anyone who wants to go on a diet but just can’t seem to get past the first week. Trust me, this thing works and I’m not lying.

If you are looking for a great app to help you track your eating, this is it! It has search bar that has 1000s of products (even generics) that you can log the EXACT thing you ate & the quantity. Plug in your stats for today, and where you want to be and it lays it out for your daily intake to get there. You can even track how much water you’re drinking, your exercise plans and so much more. I’m super excited to get to where I want to be in the coming months 👊🏻⛰🏃🏼♀️ #healthyliving

I am a certified personal trainer and this app has been the best for my needs. Typically, I see many fitness centers or fitness companies recommend the my fitness pal app. However, I find that this app is exactly what I need and keeps me on track. It is easy to use and you don't have to have a Fitbit! I recommend this app to all of my friends, family, clients and you, too! Cheers to your health!

Okay, so this is really early on cause I just downloaded this app a couple days ago but I’ve already lost two pounds! The only thing is that the second day I was using this app I accidentally put in the wrong weight. I noticed this and tried to fix it, but it keeps continuing to revert back to the previous weight. It’s not a big deal! Just something I noticed and instructions said to report here. Still love the app! Thank you for helping me loose weight!

I need orderly detail on my life, and this provides the best quality detail with the ease and education that goes with it.
I have lost 50 pounds since last June with This app and exercise. It really helps me to watch what I eat every day and keep up with my exercise. I am going to try to keep using this app for the rest of my life.

Very dissatisfied. I eat only whole foods and all of the choices on the app are processed ones from specific brands and stores. Useless to me.

I downloaded this because it had a high review and I tried to put “show carbs” option on but I can’t unless I upgrade to maximum. It looks good, and I’m sure it is great, but I’ll find one that I can use with keto, hopefully this is helpful for other people on keto looking for an app! Great app otherwise!

I’ve used others apps, such as LoseIt (my second favorite) and My Fitness Pal. MyNetDiary is better than the rest. It’s faster, simpler, more customizable, and more informative. Great app! Well-done, Dev team.

I work midnights and I don't eat three large meals a day. I subscribe to the (much healthier) multiple small meals and snacks a day thing, partially due to my sleep schedule. But it doesn't let me adjust the meals nor does it let me adjust what is a day for me. Therefore this app just is a giant hassle trying to log my food and exercise and a big selling point, the widget, use useless.

I love this app, and I’ve tried many that are not as easy to customize to your diet preferences. For example, some apps won’t let you set a goal below 1200 calories per day, which is useless when your doctor recommends 1000/day. This app lets you tweak it all, and is visually pleasing too. Also tracks water, exercise, steps. Takes very little time to add custom foods.

I love this app. It is easy to use and has helped me be more aware of my eating habits. I love that you can scan an item, it makes it so much easier to track. I also find the way that it is set up visually helpful. As my apple gets full I know I've eaten enough, same with my macros. However, I do have a couple criticisms- first of all, some of the items are incorrect. For example, I could scan a tortilla package and it will say mustard or something like that. Thankfully, this has only happened one or two times though. My main complaint is that I can't customize my macros. I like to carb cycle and on those days I would like to set my protein higher- the visualization of the bars seems to really help me meet my goals. If I could customize that one thing I'd give it a 5. I'm not going to pay 50 dollars a year to do that.

I’m a huge Math person. For decades, I have been doing my own math for calories, macros, nutrients and exercise. This App is the ONLY App that was completely accurate in all areas. I lost 15 pounds the first 30 days and even purchased the Pro version early on to keep track of nutrients. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the help I received from this App and the results that have followed. Thank you MyNetDiary!!!
I follow an 80/20 lifestyle. I eat Whole Foods (veggies/fruits/nuts/seeds) 80% of the time and everything else about 20% of the time. I noticed that somebody left a bad review because they couldn’t find Whole Foods “at the top of that list”. I did not have that experience at all. All foods were easy to find. Some of the more exotic foods (like dragonfruit) are not yet in the database but you can take a picture and they will update the database for you. It’s still the best you will find out there!

I've used it daily for >4 years.
Occasionally it offers up a "Do you like this?" pop-up. I hate that.
Worse, I recently got a Fitbit. Most of the other apps that are similar will let you connect to Fitbit for free and get at least rudimentary results. MND wants to charge me a fair amount of money per month or year. Screw that. I'd rather go migrate to one of the other apps.
update: … And yet I'm still using it as of 2018. Even though this review was here for over a year, it's still pesters me for its acceptance like an 11-year-old only

This app is really awesome. It helps me be mindful of my water intake, and after just a few weeks of calorie counting I am so much more aware of what I eat. Aside from obviously losing weight, it’s also a great tool to see my fat/sodium/protein levels. I used to use MyFitnessPal before it decided to be super expensive, but then I found this gem. While i can log an exercise on here and the data transfers to my Apple Watch, the app and the watch are not fully compatible both ways, which I find annoying. For a free app, I am very pleased.

So I had the basic “lose weight” new year resolution. I thought I wouldn’t actually dedicate my time to it or if I did I didn’t think it would work. I've calorie-counted a few times and downloaded this and other apps this week to test them out. This is a great app for tracking food. The barcode scanner is convenient, the dashboard is attractive and intuitive, and the ads for upgrades are inobtrusive. Negative aspects: recording recipes is a pain and I haven't been able to find a way to edit or remove them once you've saved them; when I record a recipe and the specify in my food log that I've consumed one serving, it adds ALL the servings (the entire recipe), forcing me to get out the calculator manually edit the amount; the chart recording my weight loss notes a star at 10% loss, but states it is a 1% loss (mathematically incorrect!); and at this writing, this app hasn't been updated for 6+ months. Otherwise, an attractive, fairly useful app!
This app helps if you use it to monitor what you eat. Also provides tips. I'd like to see it link to my Fitbit for exercise and for the food portions, weights to be more consistent.

Easiest calorie tracker I've found. Recognizes foods you've eaten before so you don't have to scroll through lists. Tracks activities, glasses of water, and has a weight chart. Wish you could chart measurements, but it's free, so.... I've used other trackers before and this one is by far the easiest and fastest free app I've found. Love it. Navigating history is tedious, but online access is available and easier.

For a very long time I have used My Sugr and My Net Diary. This app constantly works and is much easier to use. I enter data several times a day and it is a breeze to enter and offers much more options and easy to customize. I recommend it highly.

I PAID for their stupid full version and it doesn’t work with my $500 garmin fénix watch. Customer support is totally unhelpful and WONT GIVE ME A REFUND ON A NON-FUNCTIONING APP. Criminals.

I love this app so much. I'm not great about keeping track of my calories, but this app makes it so easy. I've lost 30 pounds so far, and it's still keeping me on track.
Easy to use, just what I needed! Was looking for an app for increasing awareness of what I was putting in my body and this ended up being like a new toy. Easy to use and I like the encouraging analysis the end of each day (even on days I was way off my intention). I use the barcode scanner more than I thought I would and like the gps feature that can track my hikes.
So glad to have found this, as my practices needed more change than I realized. Thanks to developers!

Well this app is great. Easy to use. Easy to understand. No complaints at all. A few suggestions though. 1) add Apple Watch to the apps and devices list 2) allow the app to add items to my iCloud calendar. Like a small icon showing my calories for that day. Also showing what workouts I did that day. 3) add a widget so I can see at a quick glance, my stats for the day. Great job. This app works great.
