I keep getting “leaving the app” box 3/5
This happens despite having just now downloaded the latest version of the NCL app. I did not used to get this. This bug is irritating! Please fix.

I’ve used the app for months as a countdown and to plan excursions. Now 5 days from my cruise, I can’t open it. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️. Please fix ASAP!!!!!

With the last update the app won’t load. Keeps giving me an error and to try again later. I know this app works and I’ve used it before. I leave for my cruise in 2 days and hope this is fixed soon.
Not intuitive 3/5
The app should be more user friendly. It’s not easy to figure out and the links aren’t obvious. Can’t make dinner reservations thru it or shore excursions. Had to go to the concierge aboard ship and waited in long lines of angry travelers. Needs improvement. The daily schedule is nice but you should be able to sign up for ship activities thru the app as well- and you can’t.
Norwegian bliss repositioning cruise 2/5
This is my first time on Norwegian Cruise lines and I am not impressed to say the least. First the ship didn’t leave until 2 o’clock in the morning. Seriously? That brought our seven day cruise down to what is really a five day cruise because the last day you disembark and the first day we didn’t get to come on board until 9 PM. Don’t even ask me about getting onto the ship because that was a joke and a total fiasco. I usually cruise on Royal Caribbean and have never experienced anything like this before. Then our stop in Seattle was canceled so we had to spend a day and a half in Victoria. One bar open on each deck. No stores open. No casino. No bingo. Pretty much nothing to do. They gave everyone a $100 credit. That is not nearly enough for what they took away from us. Honestly, I don’t see myself vacationing on NCL ever again. If you’re going to take a cruise Royal Caribbean is really the only way to go. It might be a little bit more costly but you know what… You get what you pay for.

No complaints ever! Love the packages we get that includes unlimited adult drinks and specialty dining. You can’t beat it! Met some great staff and other cruisers.
Would not consider any other cruise line.

I think you should provide a link to email departments such as shore excursions. For some reason we are approaching 120 days before and we have 0 options for costa maya which is not a great beach area.

NCL needs to enable us to adjust our dinner our excursions ourselves as needed. Having to call an agent every time is incredibly inefficient.

Just returned from cruise on Dawn. I had a balance of 1640.95, which they took from my debit card. Today there is two more pending charges. 900.00 and 113.30. These amounts have already been paid as they were included in the 1640.95. I tried calling the number on the back of my card to be told there would be a charge of 7.99 a minute to talk to the ship. There should be a us billing phone number somewhere. This is very upsetting.

I have tried 3 times to get this app to work on my Apple 7. I use T Mobile.
I can download the app and sign in. As I navigate through the app, I get an error message saying Try Again App did not download correctly. Do, I start over, and the same thing happens.
Anyone else having this problem?
I go on my cruise in 3 days. I would like for the app to work correctly.

The good is that this app gives a great overview of whats on board the ship your on. I used to turn on the tv to see whats going on and to check my acct and such, but now I can find it all in the palm of my hands. The app works through the ships wifi so you can see all this info wherever you are.
The downside of the app is the messaging and talk which is a paid feature. My family all paid for thinking itd be a great way to stay in touch while at different areas of the ship. However it definitely needs improvment since its a paid service. I had problems hearing the ringer since many times theres enough ambient noise to drown the ringer out. The ringer isnt the normal ringer on my phone which is defintely loud and also vibrates. Also several times when my phone rang, I wasnt able to pick up from my home screen and could only hang up and dial back. NCL should definitely study and immitate how other chat apps such as LINE, wechat, or whatsapp implement their messaging and calling. I felt that NCLs first attempt at this felt like the app is still in the beta stage and needs more debugging and refining. Hopefully some improvements will be made by the next time Im on board.

This app really needs a function to select your own language. Not just put it in Spanish because I live in Puerto Rico. I don’t speak spanish and I can’t figure out how to view the app in English. Your website does the same thing.

I love the concept of the app being able to know what is going on each day on the ship and and making reservations for dining and etc. but there is a flaw I had when I went on the Norwegian Breakaway back in July 2019. I didn’t receive any notifications such as messages and phone calls from my family. I only received them when I had the app open. Checked notification settings and made sure it was on but nothing. They need to fix it.
Love love love Norwegian!! From booking, to boarding, to relaxing.... so easy!!! We appreciate all of the attention to detail, also. From the Room Steward to the bartender, everyone is so very friendly and helpful! Thank you!!

It is only for booking excursions before your cruise once your ship sails it is absolutely useless. It offers absolutely no information at all except that you should spend $300 for WiFi

The app steals your photos. Even after you have restricted photo access to the app under iOS settings, when you use the app it still allow access to users phone photos. Huge invasion of personal privacy.
The app only work if the ships WiFi is working. Or ships WiFi was down a lot!

In order to get the call and text option with the app while onboard the ship, you have to give the app access to “read and write” your photos in your photos app. That is too invasive and I can’t believe apple let them do that.

The NCL app is very easy to maneuver, you get to where you want to be in a flash, just like there ships very clean and easy to get around, that’s we only sail on Norwegian.

Everyone loves their cruise but doesn’t talk about the app. The app is a poor wrapper for their website, the latter of which is actually pretty nice. Somehow the app version of it just ruins the experience and frustrates every time. Don’t download this, just use the website.

This app is junk and wasn't worth the $10 x 6 people to use. Here is the list of issues, but let me be clear its a great idea with a failed execution. Crashes all the time. Only works on boats wifi so you can do anything from shore to boat even with data. Calls wont answer most the time. Nothing has ratings and you cant rate the excursions either. Most people devices need to have the app open to get notifications. Text and photos randomly double send. Time was never correct with “Boat time”. Thats just a few.
Fix your at NCL and this could be a great app other wise save the cash for a taxi to go see something.

Bad log on and bad search 1/5
This fails to use face id and will not allow automatically filling passwords using Apple or Norton features. Stupid.
Also, 9 if 10 times search will not find anything. So, whats the difference between “pictures”, “photos”, “photography”, “pics”? Just one example of failing searches.

This is a great app. You can pretty much do anything on the app that you can online. So far it works well and has only gotten a little slow once when I was trying to do a little too much at once.

The app is horrible. I did the online check in and I am still receiving e-mails saying I need to check in. I tried to make an online reservation for dinner at a specialty restaurant and it was not successful. Every time I try to resubmit the reservation it says I have stuff in my cart that has not been checked out yet. When I look in my cart it is empty. Also a pop up message would appear saying it will transfer me to another webpage and it’s a dead end link. Please upgrade the app to fix the bugs.
I just downloaded it and Once I logged in, it closed. The app won’t even load now.
