Stayed at Staybridge Suites in Little Rock, AR. Room service was horrible didn’t bring toiletries, change linen, fresh towels, trash cans were running over and mattresses were stained. Spoke with manager, Ryan there who apologized. Not satisfied, I wrote into support through the app and uploaded pics. Never heard from anyone. You can spend less for better quality!
Holiday Inn Beaufort SC 5/5
Wonderful and clean property. The employees so friendly and helpful. They worked with us to add extra days due to a medical situation. I had hip replacement at the hospital in Beaufort. This gave my daughter and grandson a place to help make sure that I was taken care of. Such a wonderful experience staying at a wonderful property. Thanks so much. I have been a member since in the 90s and always stay at Holiday Inn properties
Much easier to use this app than to use google maps to get info about where to stay, prices, and what each hotel has. Especially easier when using reward nights as well. Also keeps track of where you have stayed to make it easier to book again.
Route availability 5/5
I love the app and have used it for years! However, I would find it much more usable if it would allow searches sequentially based on routes. Traveling from Amarillo to Ft Worth. It is very difficult to locate hotels from W to E along I40 and down 287. Very frustrating.
Another shortfall. We travel and prefer to use points. I’ve called CS to find hotels that offer 5-10k nightly rates even off the desired route. It would really be helpful to allow one to draw a circle for searching showing points required. If I’m looking to conserve points I might drive an hour further along my route to stay in a 5k room. I’ve been successful but it is difficult! Please add these features!!!
Amp does not show correct amount of nights stayed 3/5
App shows the incorrect amount of total nights stayed. Shows have stayed 75 nights but have stayed more nights than that. Website shows the correct amount of nights stayed.

I have been a member for 30 plus years and think it is the best program available.
My only complaint is the current commercials. There have been much better ones over the years such as the old Stay Smart promotion. Those commercials were classics.

Although not every IHG gives welcome points, the people are always friendly. Traveling from Texas to New York there was only one person who did NOT acknowledge my status as a platinum member. And 2 that didn’t offer points. One did offer a snack.
Won’t accept AmEx 1/5
The 5/25 update does not allow AmEx. It gives the error of invalid CC number even though AmEx is supposed to be one digit shorter. Fix!
Fix credit card entry 1/5
C’mon developers. Get the basics right and at least check to make sure routine tasks work.
When entering credit card info (iPhone X latest iOS) when trying to enter the expiration date, the roller selection method pops up but there is no “done” or any other way to actually lock in the date. Could not book using the app as a result. Terribly annoying. Now have to fire up the computer and go through everything again.

Won’t allow me to update the credit card on file when booking a room (date). When I update in the personal account info, it takes it but when I go to book a room, it still shows old card info and won’t take an update. Displaying my IHG card locks up the app

IHG is severely behind the times by not letting you use the app to pick your room (based on availability), check in the day before you arrive, and get a digital key (Bluetooth). Marriott and Hilton have been offering mobile check in for a long time. Who wants to stand in line and sign paperwork after traveling all day? Not me. I want to arrive at my hotel and go straight to my room and start relaxing.
I really like using the IHG app. I travel some and tend to stick to this brand because the accommodations and fairly consistent. My only suggestion would be a way to save your favorite destinations and/or hotels because I also tend to stay in the same locations when I return to a city.

I can’t login in full-stop. Email and PIN don’t match. Retrieve PIN, copy PIN directly from email (4 digits, but heck, maybe one is magical), paste right into PIN line, tap login, and voila! Email and PIN don’t match. How can that be when I just retrieved the PIN from the email that is on account?!

So it is extremely frustrating that when you click the link to access the webpage in your search browser it automatically directs you to their ap. Either make the ap be as thorough as the webpage or give an option to be redirected to the ap from the web browser.

Easy to navigate and with the wallet app attached l can keep my trip organized and accessible.
The app is really easy to make multiple plans and they constantly update when needed. Looking forward to making more vacation plans in the future

Super easy to use, navigate and book. Maps show you exactly where the hotel is. Scrolling through to select regularly used credit card or rewards points and discounted rates. This is a time saver. Bonus for iPhone users, add the stay to iPhone wallet for quick check in.

I stay at IHG a lot! Love looking at my map to see where I’ve been, but after one year, they no longer show up on the map. They’re still in the history part though. Can you fix this?

Terrible VoiceOver Accessibility Support for Blind Users 1/5
The app is difficult to impossible to use with voiceover. There are a lot of items with extremely long and verbose labels. It is next to impossible to complete simple transaction such as hotel reservation using VoiceOver. Furthermore, when you click on apps support, it takes you to a generic IHG page, rather than a group specifically in development or engineering. Apple has detailed information on how to test for voiceover compatibility, and to re-mediate any issues. The app has been difficult to use for a very long time.

Not sure what update you guys did, but now it doesn’t work at all. Keeps crashing on my iPad and iphone. The only way I can make reservations is from my computer. This needs to be fixed!!!
Do not cancel in app, it will not register 1/5
I made a reservation and cancelled the same day in app, but app did not pass info along about cancellation, resulting in first night charges.
If you cancel in app make sure to take a screen shot to back it up.

App functions don’t work very well. To enter credit card info it says take a picture of the card, but you can turn the flash off and the glare makes the image not usable. There are other design issues. It’s easier to go the web or call customer service. Of course that’s after you spent 40 minutes on the app trying to book a room.

Last two updates have made it very difficult to edit reservations and set stay preferences. It just loads constantly and/or crashes.
