Just updated to latest version of app. Set up filters for what I wanted, then was scrolling through results and the app just shuts down...THREE TIMES in a row. Going to look at Macy’s app instead.

I’m an elderly person. I like using the catalog to order to. I order on the phone then go to store to pick up. My health is not to good an I can’t stand to long. We elderly need extra help to.

Far as I can remember I have always shopped at Penney’s for my family. I can find anything and everything for the kids, grandchildren, and the home. I also buy my jewelry too. JCPenney stand behind all their products. I’m always notified of the up coming sale events and I make a list of items needed and use my coupons to save more. That’s why I Love JCPenney ❤️

I love shopping online. It’s saves me time and money. JCP’s has wonderful products of good quality. I buy all my curtains, towels, and bedding from them. I get mostly all our clothes from them too! Their prices can hardly be matched.

Currently I store not one price scanner to check prices of clearances I had to download this crappy app to TRY and see the price only to have this app freeze and be useless to me. Deleting and debating not coming back to this store! Save yourself the aggravation and ask an person for a price check

These towels are horrible quality, which is disappointing because I’ve always liked everything I’ve bought from this store. The towels get lint on everything despite using softener and appear to be falling apart. Complete junk.

I love this app. It is so convenient. I find a lot of things I need. And it is really handy because I have a handicap daughter and I can’t really shop in the store a lot.

I read a comment about hating to shop online. I am 69 & hate it ! I miss your catalog department. I have kept my last catalogs so I can look for the wonderful drapes, bath accessories, bedding & etc. With the catalog I know exactly what I am getting. I furnished my whole house by shopping from your catalogs & picking it up. Have tried ordering through salesman in store & it never arrives like we viewed it. I love shopping at Penny’s but you rarely have reduced mailing fee based on purchase amount like Macy’s or Kohl’s so in a lot of instances I will go to one of the other stores
This app is really getting on my nerves. Every time I try to access the app so that I can check my card balance and payment it sends to to a totally different page and the says my password is wrong. I’ve reset my password so much I have a hard time remembering the last thing I put in.
Why can’t everything just be on the same page?? Super annoyed!!

Disgusted after 36 years of being a loyal JCP card holder 1/5
I am 60 years old and I opened my JCP account in 1983. I had always kept my account in good standing. Well, on 5-12-19, I made a slip up and failed to make my payment on time and was assessed a $27 late fee. I hate late fees. So, I logged onto my JCP online account at 5:30 AM on 5-14-19 and made my usual $100 payment. After getting home from work later that day, I called the customer service number to speak to a customer service rep. After I finally got through the automated system and finally able to speak with someone, I politely requested for consideration to have the late fee waived as a courtesy. The representative asked to place me on hold and upon returning to the line she politely informed me I had already received a courtesy adjustment for a late fee in December 2018 and the company policy only allowed for one courtesy adjustment per year. Due to that, she was unable to waive the fee. Well, I was not going to argue with the representative nor beg for any additional consideration or ask to speak with someone else about the matter. So, I politely asked the representative to close my account and I told her I would timely pay off the remaining $500 balance. I had a credit line of $8500 but I would never allow my balance to exceed a certain limit due to the 27% interest rate charged on my new JC Penny MasterCard which I never requested. The representative did ask me more than once if I was sure I wanted to close my account. It was my opinion that December 2018 was a different year from 2019 so I thought the late payment could be considered as my one time courtesy for 2019. I am also certain that in 36 years of good standing with my account, you could probably count the number of times I made a late payment on one hand. So, I replied to the representative that “YES”, I am quite sure I want my account to be closed because I did not need nor want to ever do business with JCP again. The account was closed. I intend to pay off my $497 balance with my next and last transaction with JCP.

MAKE THE PAYMENTS FASTER! I hate making a payment through the app because it takes a few days for the money to come out of my bank. So, I think I have the money I need until one day, I have no money. I would love to go in person to the store but I literally have no time.

I totally agreed with Despised online customer. Just last week my daughter who is in her early 30 commented how she used to love looking at JC Penny Catalog for Christmas presents and clothing. There is definitely a different feel between online and touching the actual catalog. JC Penney should considers both option, just caps for certain amount of printed catalogs and charge more for catalog and allow customized get the credit once they reach certain set purchased amount. Overall, JC Penney is a great departmental store!

I bought this diamond bracelet and only had it 5 days and I notice one of the diamonds had fell out. I only wore it twice. The same thing happened with a ring I bought. Safe to say I won’t be buying anymore jewelry from JCPENNEY!! 😡😡😡

I have not been able to get any information on my account on the jcp. app for sometime. I would like to see my purchases and my spending ,like I used to be able to do,but it seems to shut me out of everything ,but what I can buy. I will be able to rate better,when I can get into my account. I love to shop at the store ,but not on line. I want to see what I buy.So I would be happy to see my account, if you can help. Thank you

I bought some clothes and used the jcpenney credit card. I went online to pay it through the app and since a recent update around May 16 I can’t login in order to pay the amount online. Now I have to drive to the store and pay it because it is due on a couple of days. The purpose of the app is to make it easier not harder

This is a horrible app!! When your logged in and go to pay your bill, it takes you to another screen for a new password and user if that never works😡
I would give a 0 or negative. First off I have had card for 2 years. Balance was always paid and never late. I got a message on my credit sesame saying an account closed and it was JcPenny which been paid off since March and it is now May. I call and get put on hold for 28 minutes and I ask them why. She said annual credit checking or something and that’s why my account got closed. My problem is the 28 minutes of hold time, the letter just got sent out but they closed account before I received it, the they closed it based off other credit history not jcpenny- which was never late nor never over. Yes, this pisses me off bc since then I have paid 2 more cards off and I was always told never close an account bc can mean more harm to credit and just pay them off. But these companies base there decision off of other businesses they have nothing to do with a PAID OFF ACCOUNT. NEVER AGAIN JCPENNY OR SYCRONY BANK

So many people in our city hate that they closed our store. The closest one is an hour away now. We miss it so much! They lost all of our business because I rarely buy online and we don’t get out to the physical store. Over the last 15 years, most of our clothes, shoes, towels, household, etc were from Jcp. Needless to say, we spent a LOT of money there! I still have one each of a spring/summer and a fall/winter catalog from 2009, also. I can honestly say that I, and I mean “we”, have never missed a brick and mortar store more than we miss our JcPenney’s. Even former employees that we know miss working there and miss “their” store. It would be wonderful if they brought it back. The building just sits there empty now🥺😩

I enjoy being able to scan prices in the store with the option to add the item to my cart. The sad part is- the price is usually cheaper than the store price. Only 1 out of 3 stores I’ve visited has honored the scanner price. I’ve been told to order the item online if I want that price that is given on the app.
