One of my favorite apps 5/5
Especially for being in the mountains. Quick altitude check and then being able to take a picture with the altitude and latitude and longitude is really awesome.
Simple and useful 4/5
I live in Colorado and roadtrip around the region often so this is great for keeping an eye on elevation changes.
I would give it 5 stars if this app supported the new iOS 14-style Widgets. I’d love to be able to stack it with other widgets so that I can hide it without deleting the widget when I am home and my elevation isn’t changing.
I’d also be cool if it had CarPlay support but I understand why that might more work that it is worth, considering Apple and Google Maps could easily make the feature obsolete by including the Altitude on their Navigation screens.
TechComm “F” 1/5
The first rule of technical communications is to never assume anything about your audience/reader. I downloaded the app the find out the sea level for my location. I opened the app and there is a number across the top with a dozen other numbers below. Am I supposed to somehow magically know that the number on top is the relative sea level? There is no indication what this number represents! Also, I switched from metric to imperial and the temperature remained in Celsius.

Simple yet useful. Well done

I’m a pilot and I know many exact altitudes around our state and nation. The altitude app is very often off for a known altitude by as much as a hundred or more feet. For example, in my hometown it’s well known that we’re at 317 feet above MSL. Your app uniformly reports about (but slightly variable) 270’. That translates into running into Tierra firma about a half mile short of the runway! That’s pretty critical, but for that reason I use only actual chart/approach data 100% of the time. Your app is a very rough guide to the actual altitude, but one always hopes the data will be tweaked so it would more accurately take local barometric pressure into consideration in order to give far more reliable information. Barometric pressure average of 29.92 mmHg is seldom the actual barometric pressure in any given area. Thanks for allowing input!
Accurate App 5/5
By Jog buddy
I have used this app especially on my high altitude climbs. It also allows you to take a picture with the current altitude and coordinates.
Holden Moon 5/5

This app is so easy to use and is so helpful I LOVE IT!!!!
Works Exactly as Stated!!! 5/5
This app works exactly as stated and when I compared to my Garmin it was perfect. I can’t stand ads so if interested it’s only $0.99 without ads.
Almost great 3/5
This app is great but the only feature it is missing is search feature. You can browse the map but can’t search by name on the map. Also when you open the map it does not zoom to your location automatically. You need to pinch from whole US to your location which is cumbersome.
iPad need better device measurement 3/5
This app is constantly varying at 200 feet from the same location. In the mountains of NC this is s significant issue. The iPhone version appears to be more consistently in measurement. Both Apple devices are on iOS 14.2 version for each device. This issue has been constant since iOS 12.
Incorrect Altitude 3/5
First time I have found this to be incorrect but I’m in San Antonio, the altitude is 650 ft App is showing 1201, now 1190. When I was at Bryce Canyon read 7800 which was very close to correct. What to do?
Innacurate. Rubbish. Avoid.
App not very accurate. I have 2 phones with the app next to each other and the readings vary drastically.
Really nice utility 4/5
Works great. Request to update to iOS 14 style widget and add %oxygen in air vs sea level. Then 5 stars!

Not so hot 1/5
This a great app if you don’t really want to track your elevation and you don’t mind if it freezes up a lot.
Useful app 5/5
By bako 17
Used app to map coordinates and elevation of my water well for county records purposes.
Worked perfect. Paper work was submitted and approved.
App could be brilliant 3/5
Does all the things the nerdiest part of me wants. The problem is, I have to reboot my phone to get information at a new site. The reload isn’t working. :,(
I love it. Used it all the time on my trip to the Rockies 5/5
I love it Used it all the time on my trip to the Rockies.
How high can I Get? 5/5
Love this app. As a camper and former weather observer I enjoy knowing my position on the crazy planet

Very accurate and helpful tool
Not sure what’s going on with the app & my altitude info. It’s off by almost 80ft! Weird.. beautiful app with lots of great info, but probably will not use if there’s not a way around this.
Cannot change to Imperial. 5/5
I had a bit of trouble switching to Imperial at the beginning but, worked it out. It has everything you need to know about your current location. It has altitude, position, berametric pressure, weather, water boiling point, wind direction and speed. Amazing❤️
Works great! 5/5
I use it all over the us and even in areas of Mexico with no service.
Barometric Pressure Not Adjusted For Height Above Sea Level 3/5
For anyone that is trying to use this application for accurate weather forecasting via use of barometer, the application is not calibrating based on height above sea level. This is critical for anyone taking part in outdoor activity where you want to check the current barometric pressure against a weather GRIB forecast predicted barometric pressure.
By comparing the current pressure against forecast pressure you can validate if the weather is coming in faster, slower, or as expected ... super important if you're taking part in an activity where you’re at risk due to heavy weather
The mean height above sea level feature does work well, and I validated height accuracy with other applications and station data, so I’ll keep the application for this data set to calibrate my barometer in another app. But the barometric pressure in this app is off by over 10mb for my location which makes the barometer in this application useless for practical purposes. I can confirm the reading given is sea level barometric pressure.
Highly recommend the Starparh Marine Barometer for accurate barometric pressure readings to those whose wellbeing is correlated to what the weather is doing. Just plug in the height above sea level value and the application will calibrate barometric pressure for you.
Great app 5/5

I’ve been using this app for a few years and am very impressed. It’s very accurate and you don’t get ads covering up the screen (they are small and at the bottom).
It gives totally wrong data... I am at 28m height and it is saying 6.3m only!!!

Flood zone determination 5/5
Using historical data for comparisons this app is great for finding out if your house/lot is likely to be flooded in a future hurricane.
How high did I go 5/5
Love using this on my travels! Highest was a just a little bit over 24,000, Lake Titicaca, Peru...
A “Richie 🐝Bee” Review 5/5
This is very useful application. It’s great to see a close approximation of the exact altitude while traveling or hiking. If you have health related issues or are just interested from an information perspective, it is all good. The information screen is well laid out and easy to read as well. Also, the developers have put a lot of thought in this useful little app. Thanks for reading my review. RB.
Tighter tolerance would be nice 2/5
With the iPhone 7Plus I wish the accuracy was better at small elevation changes near sea level. My Garmin is more accurate. Otherwise it is a nice app.
Dumped all of my saved locations 1/5
Pulled up the app today. I hadnt used it in a long time. For some reason, it wiped 5 years worth of altitude recordings from various hikes, trails, and vacations I’ve been on. Very sad to lose all those memories. I loved comparing various altitudes over time. Beware!
Great explanation of terminology for distances from sea level. 5/5
The above title tells it all!
Works great! 4/5
Numbers and letters should be white instead of red. I have a hard time reading them

My Altitude 5/5
Great and simple, easy to understand ! 🦏
My brother used this app in the mountains and thought it was pretty cool, so we installed it on my iPhone and it really is wonky. Maybe it doesn’t function well in lower altitudes or just isn’t very accurate.

One improvement I would suggest is that the printed info be white instead of yellow so that it would be easier to see.
Great for the mountains! 5/5
We use the app when hiking and skiing. Works great with it without cell service!
