Sometimes it starts out working, but after a while I’ll realize I haven’t heard a call in a while. I’ll shut down and restart and it’s in the middle of a call! The center I listen to serves four cities, and one is the firehouse my son staffs, so I know darn well there were calls all day but my app sits silent.

I really enjoy this app! Have not delved beyond the police scanner yet, as that was main reason to use it.
It works exactly as you would want for that. So many options! I live in a large city in CO and rest of my family live back in MI. This lets me not only know what is happening here in this huge city around me, but I can keep an ear out on my adult kids to👍🏼
Interesting how you learn that when police departments complain how underfunded they are, or under staffed, by hearing that on any given weekend, in any district, only 3-4 cars are on the late night shift, and complaint calls hold for over 24 hrs....you can understand the frustration from not only the people in the city, but very much so by the police who have to answer those insanely late response times! Last weekend Friday night, 2am, 4 different calls were held involving guns and knives simply because there was no one to respond!
Yup. Sorry for the long story, but this app has actual learning value to it. 109% recommendation ✌🏽

It’s would be great app if it did not shut off when you open other apps. But works great has good reception just wish it could pick up all stations! But for free app it’s one of the best!

I love this app! It is a great resource. As a free resource, I know that they need to make their money for development someway, and that way happens to be advertising. However, full-page ads that you can’t close in an app are synonymous with hidden automatic playing videos. They take away from the experience in the worst possible way.

I think the app is great but for the past week I’ve been having issues where when I open the app, click on the sector I want to listen to and it opens but it does not play. I keep clicking on play but nothing happens. This app haven’t been updated for 9 months and needs to be. Please fix this issue.

Probably not the app fault, but most local channels have been removed, likely because of the new radios. It’s no different if you pay for the app. Use the free app, but don’t spend your money.

Up until the update I wasn’t having any problems with this app. Since iOS update this scanner app won’t work, just bounces me right off.

I have used this scanner for many years and it has helped in many ways! One instance a vandal was prowling the neighborhood and police were on his trail. He went through my yard to some trails and notified police. He was caught. It’s a great tool to use and very beneficial as well. Five stars!!

This app is great....when it works. In the past couple of days the connection has become unstable and breaks about every 5-15 minutes.
Plus, as an idea, when the officers and the dispatcher talks I wondered if the app could display the codes and what they mean for that specific county and display what they are saying.
