This app has given me a lot of info about products. I am not able to go to the store but I can see it on others that have similar skin, hair, and colors that I like.

Overall this is a good app. Fairly intuitive and user friendly. It would not let me add my gift card as it says it has a $0 balance and I haven’t used it yet. And I didn’t have the opportunity to use my points for deluxe samples when I checked out, so that was annoying too.

I love Sephora, but for a company that is devoted to aesthetics, the app isn’t very pretty and it’s incredibly slow and sometimes nothing will load. It signs me out constantly - even if I’ve just been using the app. When I had originally downloaded it, I had hoped it was just some bugs, but nothing has changed. It’s so frustrating that I’ve virtually stopped using the app and instead just open up a tab in Safari on my iPhone.
Update: SEPHORA PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FOCUS ON THIS APP FOR 5 MINUTES TO ACTUALLY IMPROVE IT. 😭 I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO SEE THE LOADING LOGO SYMBOL FOR OVER 2 MINUTES JUST TO NAVIGATE TO A PRODUCT. I DONT KNOW HOW THIS APP HAS SUCH HIGH REVIEWS. ITS LIKE IM ON DIAL UP, YALL.

Worst ap ever 1/5
First I enter a valid gift card number - it says invalid. I call to confirm the gift card is ok, phone says it’s fine, representative says call back when customer service is open.
Then it says my correct zip code isn’t correct.
Clearly something wrong with this ap. And the service is polite but useless.

One thing it lacks is the convenience of using paypal. I have to log in from my computer or web browser from my phone before I can use it as a payment option other than that I love it!

The app is okay when it comes to navigation but my bag would randomly remove one or two items each time I would try to add something else or use a promo code (still wasn’t ever able to add that). I’d have to go back and add the deleted items again. Very frustrating, had a hard time completing the order.

Everything I purchase through the app is always automatically refunded and the purchase doesn’t go through. Defeats the purpose of having the app...so I just put stuff in my basket so I don’t forget it when I’m in the store because that’s all I can do 🤷🏾♀️

This app is way too easy to use, and makes it possible for me to purchase more products that I will love. I am very upset that Sephora has become one of my favorite bad habits. Plus, you have an app. I just found the shampoo that I think will be PERFECT for my hair. I bought it. Ouch. But, I will savor this product. I will love it. And, the app is to blame for being easy to use and way too available. I mean I have tried shampoos, but whoa. I think Briogeo may be made for me. I can’t wait! 2 day shipping!!!! And, all those amazing samples!!!!! That part is better than the actual store experience. Thanks Sephora. I can’t wait to see my hair after using this new product. In all seriousness, I have been a faithful Biolage customer for over twenty years. But, they are not cruelty free. Nothing has worked for me like Biolage. But, Briogeo, it just must be good. I researched it on their site, and then purchased it through Sephora. Easy Peasy, except that it was not free. I would like it to be free. That would be awesome. Thanks Sephora.

I have put samples into my cart before and had to go do something else and when I came back not much later they were no longer available. I have also requested samples and NEVER received them nor any replacements items.

Never had a problem. Easy to navigate for products you know. I wouldn’t buy foundation that I’ve never used because every phone screen shows color differently, but I only buy things I’m familiar with or face products.

I use the app constantly. Sephora is one of my favorite online shopping apps! But within the past few months, the app has gone downhill. It doesn’t load pictures or anything properly, it won’t keep me signed in, and it crashes when I’m in it at least once every time! I don’t understand why. I thought it had something to do with my location services or whether or not I was on WiFi but nothing seems to help. I’ve just been going through Sephora on my laptop because at least I can view the products beforehand. If these bugs are squashed I’ll change my rating in a heartbeat!

I like the app functionality overall. Easy to search, shop, order, etc. My biggest complaint right now is that I constantly have to log in each time I open the app, even when I select “Keep me logged in.” I’m sure it’s some kind of glitch because it didn’t used to do this, but it started about 3-4 months ago and still has yet to be fixed in an update. Please fix this!

Use it all the time to place my Sephora orders. Easy to use, fast and never have an issue logging in and viewing past orders etc. sometimes reviews don’t work which is annoying but otherwise great app!

You aren’t exposed to the same opportunities on the app as you are online. Sure, the app makes ordering easy— but you should double check online for free offers with purchase!

Had the option of “stayed signed in” but doesn’t work. It keeps looking me out when I close the app, so have to keep signing in again and remembering my password. Inconvenient.

Going going gone downhill 1/5
I used to be a religious user of this app/Sephora customer, but the quality of service has gone so far downhill that after years as a Rouge customer I am cashing out my points today and only shopping at Ulta and Amazon from now on, as the former has been gifts and discounts for shoppers while the later actually ships their products in 2 days the way Sephora used to. All benefits of being high paying customer have been revoked, samples are now almost always just dank perfume and moisturiser, and products are never shipped on time, resulting in my Christmas gifts arriving a week late (took two weeks to ship rather than 2 days).

Can’t sign in!!! 1/5
This would be a 5-star app for me if I could actually sign in. I used to sign in everyday, I LOVE this app. I’m using an iPhone X, most recent update on the phone’s software as well as the app, and for some reason I keep getting an error on sign in. I toggled the “stay signed in” and I wanted to use Face ID sign in and that seems to be an issue too. Please fix.

Cannot place orders 1/5
My credit card expiration date keeps changing!!! I have try to place orders on multiple occasions with no success. They told me uninstall, which I did with still no success (on multiple occasions). They said the problem would be fixed, but nothing has been fixed. I was told to call and place my orders which defeats the purpose of being able to order online. Plus, when my kids go to sleep and I have the time to place an order, they are closed. I have also lost out many samples since my credit card expiration date keeps changing. I wish they would fix this problem! But realizing it probably won’t be fixed!

Great app, but the only complaint is their are very few items in the rewards area to get. I went to finally get something I was interested in and by the time I checked out (less than 30 seconds later) the rewards was sold out and removed from my basket.

I decided to give the app another shot, but I already regret it. Constant updates & little to no improvement. Anytime I search anything it doesn’t stop loading. This happened in the past. It’s not my phone either. App is worthless.

The App is fine. The credit card expiration date field is messed up. You have to enter the month after. If it expires in January you need to enter February etc. Spent way too much time to figure that out.

I have problems connecting with this app when my phone is connected to WiFi. I have to take off the WiFi on my phone to actually connect with this app. Fix this Sephora!!
Easy to use, not as easy to trust 4/5
The app is very user friendly and comprehensive. It’s full of lots of special features but I mainly use it to shop and read product reviews. Unfortunately these days new products may have plenty of reviews—more than you’d expect at that point—but they’re all or almost all from people that have been given the product for free in exchange for feedback. For one thing, I see a lot of the exact same words/phrasing on many different products making the opinions feel like canned responses. Also, without knowing who is providing the product and for what reason/program it’s being provided by and what the relationship/role of the reviewer is to them, I can’t help but be skeptical and wonder if their glowing reviews are actually provided so as to obtain or “earn” more free products.
Also, like another reviewer mentioned, I really hate that they removed the Q&A feature on each product’s description. That was often very helpful when the descriptions were too short and uninformative.

I like the app, however it needs improvement. First off, the community chat needs to be reformatted. It’s a chore to use despite its potential. Second of all, even though I remain logged into my account I continuously have to add a coupon code and my sample choices to my cart. It’s almost a relief when I no longer have a coupon code to use because then I don’t have to copy and paste it from my email 12 times. Lastly, this may be less of an app problem and more of a Sephora in general problem, but it’s an issue that I went through the trouble of driving to a Sephora to get my color IQ for brands I can’t get nearby and online only shades.. and I’m provided with hardly any results.

I know my own zip code, city, and state for billing. However when I put in zip code it gives me another city in my state and when we change it says it’s invalid!
