Version 4.1.1 Still Crashes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME 1/5
I am using the current Proview version and it still does not work. Sunday, 8/26/2018 I just tried again by downloading and installing two ebooks. One downloaded no problem. In the middle of downloading the second one app crashed. Crashed every time I open the app and select a book, when using my iPad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY until the software issue is fixed. Proview only works correctly on my computer.
FIX THE BUG PLEASE!!!!!!! PATCH NOW PLEASE!!!!
Crashing after the update 4/5
After yesterday’s update it keeps crashing immediately after opening the application. Can you please fix it.
4.1.0 crashes on opening 1/5
Just like 4.0.0 did
Won't work. 1/5
So, Thomson Reuters managed to ignore this review for so long that I forgot when I wrote it. I had no contact with the developer or anyone from customer service in the interim until they wanted a star so the sent me an email. Classic. Customer Service, Thomson, is supposed to be about the customer. You just completely ignored me until you wanted something. That’s not customer service. That’s being self absorbed and self-centered.
Like others, I can't log in using one pass. App keeps telling me "unsuccessful" over and over again.
It is better to make sure your app works well before rolling it out. You just wasted an hour of my time and done more harm than good.
Version 4.0.0 continues the “Crash Happy” tradition 5/5

Feb 21, 2018 ... Tax Season underway ... Thompson Reuters picked this time to issue an update and BAM! I can not open my reference materials because the new ProView crashes about 1.5 seconds after opening. What kind of monkeys do you guys employ to script our software?
FIX IT DAMNIT! I have clients depending on me NOW, not next week or next month, but today, Feb. 21, 2018!
Yes! Thank all that is good in the universe, my ProView is back to working! Thank you TR, but next time don’t use me as a beta tester, verify an update actually works before releasing it!
You MUST erase the old App & ADD the new Version 1/5
I just go off the phone with the “Tech Support” that “did not work in the ProView area,” but knew I had to erase & re-download.
It works now ... although I had to waste a 1/2 hour of my day to figure this out & my app hasn’t work since I updated last week.
Given that we pay as much as we do for this app, you’d think these folks would at least give us a heads up.

Update crashes 1/5
Just installed latest update and now I cannot open the app. Hopefully, it will be fixed by tomorrow.
Keeps Crashing, can’t access paid content 1/5
There was an update for this app and now it won’t stay open. I paid hundreds of dollars to view my ebooks on my iPad and now I can’t use this for my tax appointments. Hope they resolve this soon.
Crash after crash 1/5
After the update, the app crashes. Contacted the company repeatedly with no response. Expected more from Thompson Reuters. Very disappointing.
Crash Happy 1/5
You can open and search, but once you click a search result the app crashes. Online version is not much better. You can get to the ebook, but you cannot type anything into the search field.
Waste of time and money.
Not User Friendly 2/5
This is not a very user friendly app. I use, or try to use, the app on an iPad Air 2.
The main problems I see are no full screen option available to view a selection. The side panels take up almost half the usable screen. This is the biggest problem on the iPad.
The selection that is visible is a swipe screen from left to right instead or an easier and faster scrolling up and down. With swiping if you finger goes too far to the right side margin, you will open split view. Zooming in on a page then gives you a lot more pages to swipe through.
Also, swiping removes the ability to jump to the top or bottom of a document that is a standard feature on iOS apps.
Search is not intuitive and the results are not always what you want or are looking for.
There is no way to delete or hide older publications from the table of contents again resulting in a complete waste of space.
It doesn't seem as if the designers of this app actually try to use the app in a real world setting. If they tried they would see how poorly designed it is.
If this app is not improved by the time my next renewal is due, it will be cancellation time.
Pésimo servicio y asistencia one pass, una perdida de tiempo.
Poorly designed. Many dead ends. Not worth the space it takes up on your device. Even this review process is flawed.
Great Resource 5/5

Easy to use, all i need as a tax preparer!
ProView 2.0 A Great Improvement 5/5
The new 2.0 is a great. The app is faster and the interface looks much cleaner. A very intuitive, polished eReader. Easy to keyword search, navigate Table of Contents, and annotate.
You can't download this program and buy your books. 1/5
Don't expect to download this app and buy your books a la carte. You have to have a Westlaw account or contact customer support via telephone before hand to set up a checkout code.
Hey Westlaw, I don't want to listen to your endless high pressure sales pitches anymore to get what I want. Just put the darn ebooks online as an in app purchase please and layoff your overseas sales staff. Your sales will go up and your costs will go down.
Terrible update! 1/5
Terrible update! App now crashes on launch! Please fix quickly, as this had made using subscribed electronic text unusable.
Avoid using it 1/5
You have to register it before you can use it, which they never tell you. Very painful to figure out how to use it. Definitely not user friendly.
One pass login doesn't work 2/5
Unfortunately my one pass login doesn't work and yes I used the correct information
