Wow, this app is so incredibly useful. It is almost insulting to call it an app. Every single session is human and specific and unpretentious and clear, and does not trigger any “huh?” or BS responses like the other ones do. Love the sessions that adapt based on your selected length. Love the video classes to make you feel connected to the teachers. Every teacher is perfect, and they all have soul and a depth to them. You can tell they’ve put in the time and done the work and aren’t just freelancing as voice actors. Just really top notch all around. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone—it is so diverse and sensible and non-annoying.

Meditation for all levels 5/5
I have been meditating on my own for almost nine years. Most of the instruction I received was from Buddhist practioners and books. The breadth and depth of material available on this app has given me a new perspective on my meditation practice. From Joseph Goldstein's fundamentals to George Mumford's mindful presence I have increased the feeling of being mindful in my daily life. I hope you continue to add to the information available on the app. It is invaluable!

Being anxious 5/5
I find myself in anxious situations throughout the day. Having this app will hopefully give me an out any time I need one. I hope to begin a new mindfulness starting today.
Program interrupted or discontinued so often, I changed ear phones. Then removed them altogether. There’s a technical issue.
This mindfulness app certainly provides the structure I needed to jumpstart daily meditation. Sand it talks to the Health app which talks to the Breathe app in my watch. And if that were all it did, I’d be very satisfied.
However, it also brings a large body of what are essentially podcasts within meditation which have exposed me to a large variety of concepts behind mindfulness.
Awesome Meditation, App Needs Work 3/5
The meditation offered in the app is fun, interesting and easy to follow. Meditating for just a few min a day can make a big difference and keep you grounded.
My main issue with this app is if you update it it asks you to log back in which is annoying especially if you’re the type of person that doesn’t remember your password (like me). Updates should not cause the app to log me out.

Started meditating at my sister’s suggestion, thought why not. Picked 10% happier because it seemed good to be happier. It seems to work. Interesting insights throughout the day come to me from what Joseph Goldstein says. I’m not very consistent but it has a positive effect anyway.

These meditations have helped me to build a daily practice and I believe I am maybe a percentage "happier" if happiness is measured by my ability to be "present" throughout the moments of my day. I love the fidgety, skeptical aspect of Dan Harris' approach because it includes those with a heavy "negativity bias" without condescension, but humor, acceptance and empathy. I have managed about 10 minutes a day without feeling tortured or idiotic and that ten minutes has become a valuable reference in my daily experience, a metaphor for calm witnessing and deepening insight.

I've been using the 10% Happier app for about 6 months now and it's been fantastic. I'm beyond happy with it and it's really helped me get out of my head and learn how to control my emotions. Even when I fall of the meditation wagon, it's always there when I need to come back. As someone that suffers from anxiety and depression, it has helped LOADS when I feel like things are too overwhelming and I'm losing control. It's helped me learn that when things get like that, the one thing I can control is my breathing. I have recommended this app to many people because I want it to help them as much as it has helped me. I love this app. There are so many different option which then makes it harder to have excuses to not meditate. I love Dan Harris’s down to earth style and the teachers he uses to teach / guide meditation are wonderful.
While it is simple to say “just clear your mind and focus on your breath” i think it can’t be that easy. Surely I need someone to guide me in the beginning. Following the guided meditation I learn it is that easy. I just had to understand that the clear your mind is not the same as sit in complete silence. My mind love needs to focus on something and that is where noticing your breathe comes in handy. Thank to this awesome app I am now meditating!!

I committed for a one minute session and had the option for five then ten. By the end of that ten minutes, my breathing was super slow, almost stopped at times, but felt totally relaxed and refreshed!

Not a useful tool for beginners 2/5
The many of speakers in 10% guided meditations are annoying to listen to, which makes it hard to focus on the content. Delivery is all over the place, with intermittent long silences that make me wonder if I’ve accidentally paused the app. Sometimes I’m waiting on a long silence and the app is actually paused.
If you’re considering a meditation app, I’ve had better luck with headspace.
Love this app! I’m a crazy over thinker and this practice has helped slow the committee down in my head. I can actually catch myself pausing before responding to situations and too people. It’s a beautiful thing!

I have hypothyroidism that results in an anxiety that is hard to quench. Meditation has been the best thing I have experienced and my anxiety is essentially nonexistent. It’s worth it. A life filled with mindfullness is more than I could have ever ask for.

Helpful Meditation App 5/5
It’s hard to stick with a meditation app. I’ve tried a couple but I’m finding this one is good. There is no background music in the meditations so they are a better representation of how one would apply mindfulness in every day circumstances. The host is engaging and so are the instructors I’ve seen.
