Awesome app 5/5
Little expensive but one of the best best apps I have ever used
Great app, one suggestion 5/5
I love this app and use it almost daily. I'd like to suggest that if the ability to scan things like credit cards, drivers licenses, etc., was added, it would make it even better. This would greatly simplified the addition of inputting this type of information a lot easier.
The Only Proper Course of Action 5/5
Start here. Be organized, and aware of the threats to your systems. This program will not let you down.
App keeps crashing 2/5
The older version kept crashing. I copied the detailed instructions to upgrade to the newest version which now costs approximately $5 a month. The new version keeps crashing too! It holds all my passwords but it's kind of a pain have to keep logging back into it after it keeps crashing after 5 - 6 seconds of being open. If I wasn't already committed, I would go elsewhere.
Good app but still no print! 2/5
A great app but it lacks the ability to export files and secure entries in the event of technology failure. Not that that ever occurs! It has been said, "to protect my data" there is no print. I believe that is up to me, not them to decide. It's my data, not theirs. They are very pig headed about not allowing me to use MY information. I can secure the printed data or files just fine in a bank safe. A lot of users have asked for this but still no option to print. Otherwise, it's a good app.
Because they have failed to add this feature after many requests and over a year I am starting to look for a replacement application and dropping my rating. Other applications are getting better reviews because they offer this option.
Worth Every Penny 5/5
For $3/mo I have peace of mind, a streamlined sign in process with no more more trial and error, and it syncs across all my devices. Fantastic support, fantastic app, and a necessity in the modern world.
Ever since update I can't open it!! 1/5
Ever since the update I have been unable to open this app. I type in my password & when I enter the last item in the pw it just holds the letter & won't go any further😡Any suggestions? All my pw's are unaccessible to me now...
Amazing app/program 1/5
Update: 1Password stopped working the other day after I added a Dropbox vault and payed for the "pro" in app purchase. Now I can't access my local or Dropbox vault. Fix this
Love using this app, I did a lot of research before picking this app. I mainly picked it due to the technology and the fact that I can buy the application. I personally am not a fan of of subscriptions so that is what drove me to use 1 password. I only wish that the sync would work with Google drive.
Please keep the standard purchase option in the future as some customers prefer this model.
PS I used a free version before called password safe and it did the job it just didn't work between os's. This app is well polished and would recommend it ever time.
No Customer Support 1/5
I loved this app until I bought a new iPhone. I can't use the app on my iPhone, although it still works on my Mac and iPad. Apparently, I need my account number to activate 1Password on my iPhone, but Agilebits will not tell me what it is. So the app for which I paid is unusable. I have tried to get Support to help, but they refuse. No phone number, no Chat option, only a canned robo-answer which doesn't address my problem.
Ridiculously Priced 1/5
I'm an average early-30s computer/iPhone user. I've got a dozen-ish accounts that require passwords. I pretty much use one credit card, and I reach for it maybe once a week. I'd love a form filler that consistently worked across platforms. But three bucks a month for these services? When Apple already offers free built-in software that, whatever its flaws, is still better than nothing? And when 1Password's competition has decent free versions out there? Yeah, no. On top of all the typical monthly costs adults deal with, I'm already paying for several TV/movie, podcast, and news/magazine subscriptions as well as a VPN and a networking app. I've also set up automatic monthly donations to a handful of charities. Another $3 per month? $36 per year? To streamline a process that's not exactly time consuming to begin with? And when I haven't had any security issues so far? Definitely not. Maybe a one-time charge or a much smaller annual rate. But IMO $3/month is laughable for what it does.
Highly recommend. Easy to use and very secure.
This updated app is as bad as an app can be 1/5
Encouraged to upgrade because the earlier version (which worked), I downloaded this waste of code.
The parts that work: the signup for a new account, an in-app purchase that subscribes me to a service at $48 per year.
The part that doesn't work: the import from the previous version, which crashes the new app every time.
I am sure there are good password-management tools for iPhone. This is not one.
I remember when this app was a nice tiny size for ios. Even the android version is significantly smaller in size and consequently takes up less storage on your device. There's way too many bugs in this app that require frequent updates. One of the most annoying ones is if when you reset your phone it becomes psychotic trying to reconnect to Dropbox. The workaround is to uninstall the app and reinstall.
AlsoThere is no password generator option on the fly. Not recommended for my needs and not worth more than a $.99.A monthly sub is simply ridiculous.
Latest version crashes unlocking keychain.. 1/5
Worked fine for years, latest version crashes on capitalized 14th character of a 16 character password.
I cannot unlock my 1pass keychain now.
Subscription Model? Really? 1/5
Updated (2017): I am very choosy about paying for software myself but I "get" tech (whatever that means) on a basic level and therefore happily paid for 1P on any device I used.
But... this subscription model is going to rub ppl the wrong way. Particularly for folks I've recommended it to (so many people) over the years who simply will not pay a monthly charge for this class of app. I'm talking about folks who reuse passwords and whatnot... young ppl and baby boomers who missed the boat, etc.
Yes, security is a small price to pay, but dude, you're "competing with free" for tons of customers who will happily use terrible competitors apps (or nothing) to avoid paying anything. I have to believe the app devs can find a better solution than a $4-$7/month fee. Yikes. That seems high.
I am going to permanently suspend my recommendations for this app because this subscription strategy has robbed me of my certainty in its future.
No thanks devs.
Original Review (2015): This is a must have app. I don’t know what people without password managers do...
I most like having the choice to use my PIN/Touch ID again, instead of entering the master password, every time I open 1P on my iDevices.
Essential of Essential Apps 5/5
Couldn't live without this app. I have horrible memory plus a couple of my accounts were compromised from other breaches of Dropbox and other sites. Since then I have used complex password created by this app with no need to remember then so I can easily change them.
Simply the best! 5/5
Using a password manager is one of the single biggest improvements you can make to your security. Just look at the many breaches of websites over the last 3 years. You NEED to start using unique complex passwords everywhere. I've tried keepass, lastpass, dashlane and none work as well as 1Password. I like that you can sync to a Mac or PC over wifi and not to the cloud. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🥊
Really great app, perfect for my family 5/5
We subscribe to 1password for families and it works perfectly. We have 3 kids and my mom lives with us. The app let's us have a shared vault for all the common stuff everyone needs access to, like the Netflix and HBO login. We have another shared vault for stuff they don't need all the time, but might need access to like the Amazon password. Then my husband and I have another vault that only we have access to, where we put our banking and stuff. And then everyone has their own personal vault. You can search vaults individually or search all at once.
The first thing that's great is that it is allowing us to set long randomized passwords. I feel much more secure that using the same handful of passwords, or keeping passwords jotted down in contacts or notes. It is great for sites and apps that regularly make you switch passwords, making them hard to memorize.
Everything syncs, across macs, PCs, iPhones and Android devices. No matter what platform we are on, our passwords are right there. Syncing happens within seconds and it is seamless.
Using the browser extensions are so incredibly easy. It will sense what page you are on and bring up the correct accounts, allowing you to fill username and password with just a click. Every time i create a new login, it will ask if i want to save it, so i don't even have to think about it. The password generator is great, giving you several options as to length, characters, numbers and symbols or allowing the option of easier to remember word based passwords with three unrelated words. Online shopping is easy as it will fill out your credit card info, and you have an 'identity' option to fill in common form fields. I now keep my kids' social security numbers encrypted in the app instead of in my contacts, unsecured. All those random bits of info, like frequent flyer numbers, etc. easily find a home in the app.
And it is all synced, shared and encrypted. You can unlock your vaults with either a long password or touch id. More and more apps are integrating 1password and touch id into their login process. If the app isn't integrated, it is very easy to just cut and paste passwords.
The other great thing is that if anything were to happen to either me or my husband, our family just needs the account key from our safety deposit box and they have access to everything in one place: all banking, all insurance policies, our wills are uploaded with contact info for our estate attorney, any other notes anyone might need. After my husband's aunt passed away, he and his sister had to go on a hunt trying to track down all of her accounts, close down subscriptions and other bills, find her life insurance info and guess at all her passwords. They were grieving and it made things so much harder. That they were able to guess her passwords showed how unsecured her information was.
The only little complaint i have is that the user interface is a little different between the mobile app, the desktop app and the browser version. There are some functions you can't complete on the mobile app. Also the UI is a little confusing at first. It's been a little bit of a learning curve for my mother.
But all in all, this has definitely been all I really needed it to be. For a family, the subscription is definitely worth the price to have our information shared but still secure.
No review prompts = review! 5/5
Using 1Password for a few years and always had success with securing and organizing passwords. It is beneficial to use with the desktop app and sync across multiple platforms.
Buggy, Sync Issues 1/5
Buggy app with sync issues and corrupt vaults. Frequently reported issue, though threads on AgileBits about this are often deleted. New gotcha subscription pricing is $180 for 5 years?? Many better options in the marketplace.
1 simple password manager and so much dramas! 1/5
Netflix: $7.99 per month ... unlimited number of "family" members ... worldwide same price.
1Password: $6.99 per month ... upto 5 "family" members ... each extra "family" member is gonna cut your retirement plan by a few more dollars per month!
On the same note, they lie with so straight face! So … no more paid standalone because it makes their awsome customers confused!
AND ... those AgileBits' "family" members sure know how to give 5 STARS with each and every update! LOL
On the same note, they lie with so straight face! So … no more paid standalone because it makes their awsome customers confused!
UPDATE: Here comes The Power of Awesome Customers! So, with no announcement, this release has brought back the in-app purchase for standalone version! They know (and if they don’t, then here it is!) their company would dive back to stone age if they ever decide to stick to their subscription guns!
P.S. Who are these folks waiting to give 5 stars every time 1Password gets a new update?!! When I check their histories to see if they've reviewed any other Apps ... I see NONE! LOL
Secure Notes needs to get much better 2/5
I would like search to do more that tell you which note contains the searched word. It needs to find the word in the note! Highlight it somehow, make it easy to find, not have to further search in a long note. Also Secure Notes needs font options, especially BOLD, but even change color and font group... again, something to make it easier to find! Also, could use URLs, to be able to tap in Secure Notes and open that URL.
I can think of several improvements since I record events such as service dates for my vehicles, doc appointments, etc. so would like to see some ability to relate to my iCal.. create events. Also allow JPGs, and PDFs to be stored there.
Come on guys, focus some on improving Secure Notes!

I can't imagine using my phone without this app included. Totally indispensable and built by a great team of people who really do care. Buy it immediately, you will not regret it.
It's simply the best defense! 5/5
First, you really really know you need to move to a complex password - and will require memory assistance to recall them, otherwise why are you looking at password vaults. That you are here is a good thing! I have nearly 800 passwords and I only need to recall one, 1Password handles the other 799.
Second, please hit the reviews STARS count for this version, then ALL versions. You will notice 1Password has about a 4.95 out of 5 score, with nearly 20,000 reviews. More importantly, notice the negative stars trends over time... diminishing! That's the secret sauce '1PASSWORD just keeps getting better!'
Third, it's inexpensive, cross platform, integrates with your browsers (the 's' entirely intentional, we all typically use more than one browser these days), and can back up to a local volume as well as a number of secure cloud sites (remember to ALWAYS use 2 factor login to cloud volumes!).
Fourth, have a family, or team? 1Password supports secure sharing of 1 or a set of passwords. Easy to share with the wife the password to the bank account or Netflix with the kids!
Fifth, want to know if one of you bezillion sites has been compromised? And you need to up date a password? The integrated Watchtower feature monitors that for you as well and alerts you to update a password. Easy!
Last, nuf said stop looking - you found the solution, buy it!
Very useful app
Works great 5/5
Excellent password app
By Maui Kid
After many years of using a competitor password manager I switched. After just one day of using 1Password I bought a subscription.
Customer service has been outstanding, the software works perfectly and I honestly like the features that are provided. I like being able to use iCloud, Dropbox or not at all for cloud backups.
Looking forward to many years of doing business with Agilbits.
Thanks 😎👍🏻 5/5
Keeps getting better and better.
Touch ID, extensions, being able to pick safari browser in 1pass, attachments and more.
Mine is unlocked as I paid for all the features and I use every one of them
😎 this App
Sick to Stomach, and wallet... 1/5
These clowns first have you pay for the iPhone app, and then separately for the iPad app, great. I then pay something like 60 bucks for the Mac version and oh by the way, you get to pay MORE money for the Windows version if you want to sync at your work?!? Oh wait, it gets better... Now we get the enjoyment of a monthly $6.95 charge per month to use the same product that you've already paid for?!? I'm done, they should change their names to ExtortionBits, it fits better. Do yourself a favor and look into the new app called Enpass which is free, offers many platforms and allows for easy migration of all your data vaults from 1Password. Thanks ExtortionBits for following the leader on the pay as you go software. I'm done
Love this Service! 5/5
My wife and I have used 1Password for about a month now and can't remember a life without it.
Better remember your Master password..... 2/5
I didn't write down my master Password, therefore I cannot use the app!
Great system for passwords 5/5
A great way to organize your passwords. Been very happy with this company for five years now! Thanks for all the updates!
Must have 5/5
This is a can't live without app for me. I used to keep a list of passwords in a text file and reused the same ones for multiple accounts. 1pwd makes the process fast and secure, and their desktop and mobile apps work very well together. Thanks for the excellent product!
Been using 1P for years now. Always happy with results!
First time caller, long time listener 5/5
Have used 1Password for a few years now and am constantly impressed with their attention to detail. They seem to put a lot of effort into making the entire user experience (desktop and mobile) as seamless and pleasant as possible. And having glimpsed the product world briefly, I like how they are running their business with equal attention on the users and on sustainability.
Really Nice 5/5
Best password manager. Really easy to use
Buy the desktop version 5/5
Use a password manager, support the people who make them!
Best app on my phone! 5/5
1Password is 5/5
Without question, one of the best pieces of software on my phone.
Couldn't live without it 5/5
I have used the major password managers, and 1Password blows the others away in terms of not only features but reliability.
I love this app. It seamlessly integrates with my computer and chrome and I never have to do the dance of forgetting a password. And with fingerprint recognition, it is quick to unlock even on my phone!
Great password manager 5/5
A great password vault. Buy a copy of this and the desktop app, then stop worrying about your passwords.
Indispensable app. Cross-platform support is excellent. Seamlessly integrates with browsers.
1Password is worth every penny. 5/5
I used to spend hours a year trying to keep my passwords organized. I wrote them down, used the same one over and over and still couldn't keep it all straight. 1Password is great for security and organization of passwords. I've upped my password game in a big way.
Doesn't get better than this 5/5
No fuss, no bloat, just a great password manager with some really nice additional features.
If I could give this a ZERO I would 1/5

I paid my money and have used the app successfully for a long time. Now I can't get into my account and was suddenly bumped out for no reason. When I login I am going around in circles about needing my license key and when I send in an email I am rerouted on an endless registration that never results with me being able to login. Customer Support won't give me a phone number or online help and I am now frozen out of all of my financial accounts as they hold the password. I am not kidding you - there is a serious glitch here. I used to love this and now I am in huge trouble with this app. Don't bother. There is a glitch and if you experience it you will be in a circular hell of being frozen out of every financial account you trusted them to help you with.
Best app of it's kind 5/5
This is the best password vault program I have ever used, easy for my family as well. Integrated with everything we use.
Really works well 5/5
I have come rely heavily on 1 password, and would be lost without it.
stuck at Password entry 1/5
Can't get to all my data after last update thank you very much!
This app is superior 5/5
The most useful app i'v ever use on any market
