I had to update the app and when it was finished I would log in and click on make a payment and all it would do is go back to the log in screen.

Have expressed frustration with this app for years. Horrible UI. No TouchID (Really Ally??). If you mistype your password, it resets UID even if saved. Or worse, if you forgot your UID, (because you told it to save), the you have to close the app and start all over. Archaic

When I open the app, and the login screen shows up, I cannot type in my username and password. The screen is completely unresponsive, cannot hit the submit button or any other links. I guess that Ally is ok with not receiving any payments from their customers.

I am still trying to pay my car note for the past month every time I go into the app it doesn’t load, slow, don’t respond and this suppose to be the latest update 😳😳😳.I have to always go online to pay my note. I mean I know you guys are not the biggest financial institution out there but at least invest in your app where people pay their note to you guys at. I had to pay late fees because I couldn’t get into the app a week before my note........ DONT BE CHEAP INVEST IN YOUR APP, TECHNOLOGY IS EVERYTHING NOW.

I have not been able to do anything with my app. I can get to login screen and I can’t click on anything. It does absolutely nothing like it’s frozen. I can’t type my user Id. I’ve tried deleting app and reinstalling and updating app. So frustrating.
No Touch ID nor can’t ever login.. always, “contact ally”.. don’t even waste your time downloading this app.. it’s useless.

This App has become unusable. It freezes on startup and crashes making it impossible to login. Also it still doesn’t support TouchID. Come on Ally get it together.
Worked the first time. Now can’t even enter my info. Doesn’t have Touch ID either. Very old and very useless.

Load the app. Sure, it loads, but you can’t move beyond the ‘username/password’ prompt screen. You touch the options - forgot password, forgot username - and it’s unresponsive.
You close the app.
You restart the app.
Duhhh. I’m trying to pay a bill, but the app only works when it wants, which is (literally) 1/50th of the time.

Most of the time it won’t let me click on username or password fields to log in. So instead of scheduling my payments through the app I have to login online. Can’t do a quick balance check, can’t do a quick anything. I’m looking to have someone else take over my financing on my car, someone with an app that works.

I didn't think a financial app could be so horrible. The app is so very buggy that you can't even complete signing on or if you happen to sign on to complete a transaction! It has the feel of a new person or a teenager having their first go at creating an app. Ally Auto make a decent app please! Until then I'll use my bank app. Really bad app.

The leaders of this institution have to have mental problems when they make it harder for you to pay. What a disgusting practice to block online payments and make your clients pay go to moneygram. "Duhhh, let's make it harder to get the money we're owed." Talk about lack of any common sense. I will be IMMEDIATELY looking to refinance with another bank because you all are just horrible. STAY AWAY from these folks.

I downloaded the app, I’ve restarted my phon twice and delete then reinstalled the app to no avail. The app literally does NOTHING. I open in and can’t click on anything, not log in, not enroll, I can’t even click to read the terms and conditions. Pretty disappointed with the app since is says it’s the 2017 version. Won’t be reinstalling. I’ll just pay online I guess.

If you guys don’t update your auto app for the iPhone X with Face ID and Touch ID (like literally every other banking and financial app) like your main app has, I’m going to refinance my car through another company. I’m sick of this outdated crap which shows a genuine lack of care toward your auto loan customers. I’d rather give my money to a company that stays modern and on top of advancing tech. You clearly have the resources since your main app is updated for everything. I’ll give you another month or two, then I’m taking my auto loan elsewhere. This is ridiculous. Touch ID has been out for what ... 4 years now? There is literally no excuse. Update the app to the standard of your main app or I’m leaving your company for another.

The app is easy to use... when it’s actually working. It’s always a toss up on whether it’s going to let me sign in or not. Most of the time, the screen is frozen and won’t let me write in my username or password so I’m just there frustrated for another 30 min until I give up and say, “maybe I’ll just make a payment some other time.” It’s a great way for them stall and make you late on payments... Wait, maybe I’m on to something.
