The international shipping cost is very hidden even thou the app knows that I want the items to be delivered in Sweden and not UK.
The shipping cost its only shown on the end and then the price of the shipping is 50%-100% of the actual value of the purchased items.
That makes this app completely useless!

I bought an Amazon Gift card and what I did is redeemed it and wanted to buy a 3 month PlayStation plus. When I wanted to buy the PlayStation plus card it took me to the card field input or something. What is the point of redeeming a card and buying something digitally if it's going to ask you for a credit card input. I want a way that once you redeemed a card you can use it to buy something digitally and does not bring you to a credit card. I want to pay a different method

Overall I dig the ease of navigation and features of the app; there are certain things I'd like to see implemented like the relocation of the compare list to the side of the screen, the back button to the bottom (like Safari's), and perhaps the ability to completely remove any recommendations (a feature that the mother site would also benefit from). However, it works pretty well otherwise.

Its a cool app it just doesn't have too much, it has some stuff but not a lot and when u lookup something there aren't that many choices but to anyone who reads this I suggest getting redbubble
Very poor UX make the application useless 2/5
First of all (and probably the most important), it's missing some core features like "Share link" (or at least "copy link"!) or "Find on page", which forces me to use Safari anyway.
Second, the fact that you can only use top button to close the menu is very annoying – I always automatically tap outside of the menu in attempt to dismiss it, but get taken away to some other page.
Third, iPad app – what's up with the section buttons on the bottom? They seem to only work as shortcuts, not as sections (like in other iPad apps), I can get to any of those items from any page, and sometimes it actually switches the button on the bottom automatically! – very confusing.
The only reason I gave it 2 stars, not 1 is notifications. I don't personally need them, but maybe someone does – this app is the only way to get them.

Why can't you make digital purchases? If you are shopping for ebooks or audiobooks you might as well get on your laptop cause it ain't gonna be easy.
Something like the worst experience of your life? Close to hell on earth? Nah too easy. Amazon wants you to suffer a little more when trying to buy a $6 book.

I have been a longtime Amazon shopper and an Amazon Prime member for several months. It seems that in today's society, people only take the time to write a review when they've had a BAD experience. Well, I had a particularly WONDERFUL one, and I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude. I received a damaged 3-part product through Amazon Prime recently. I gave a NEGATIVE review for the packaging, but seeing how the product was an edible one (and one I consume regularly to aid in feeding my infant son), I gave a POSITIVE product review and attempted to consume part 1 of my order. Nearing the end of this portion of my product, I realized I no longer wanted to continue in this fashion with parts 2 and 3 of the damaged product and instead wanted an exchange for the same product in its undamaged form. I wrote customer service as this item was not eligible for return. Within hours, a replacement product was sent to me with a message of how Amazon values my membership and does not want to lose me as a customer. I just thought this was SO classy and am so grateful to be a member of a service that stands behind its products and quality of service. Five stars from me! I'm more proud than ever to be a loyal customer to Amazon and Amazon Prime! Thank you, Amazon!

Ordered two items for a dinner party with guaranteed Prime delivery on Saturday. Items never showed up and ETA was extended to Tuesday. Messaged customer service for a refund given the delay and they were entirely unhelpful. Very disappointing. Will be canceling my Prime subscription

The iPad app is just really outdated. Can we please get the Amazon fresh feature in the iPad version of the app? I mean when you pay $15/month for this service, you kind of expect an app that works on both your phones and tablets.

I strongly dislike the changes that came with the most recent app update. I love saving things to wishlists, and then being able to sort my wishlist by price, or filter items with price drops, but that seems to no longer be an option. Not a fan!

Good app. Quick and easy to navigate and purchase all products EXCEPT kindle books. I don't like the new wish list view. It difficult to see what has decreased in price. Also, there isn't a link to my other lists at the bottom like there was before. Now you have to scroll back to the top of the list to switch. Annoying!

The app is not convenient whatsover and requires that a person goes back and forth from the amazon website to the app, which makes the app pointless and useless. It just makes situations take longer and creates more issues. Horrible experience with the app!! I was merely trying to redeem a kindle book I got as a gift from my father and spent hours trying to redeem it. Btw..STILL HAVENT REDEEMED IT! Horrible horrible app that I dont reccommend at all!!!

The Amazon app offers nothing more than entrance via your browser offers. It is not faster or more streamlined. No Touch ID, you still have to enter you logged n name and password. Nothing to see here!

Because the app won't take an address. Evidently, no special treatment (meaning passably adequate) for this Prime member.
Also cannot be set to remember searches. If you are interrupted what you've been doing disappears.
User Interface seems like an afterthought ... 3/5
3 stars just because it's Amazon and you can literally find anything you need, but the app (and the website, for that matter) is not only an eyesore, but also often difficult to navigate (why is it so hard to manage your lists on this app, for example?). I wish Amazon cared a little bit more about the design they use for all of their applications.
Creepy, Like Being Stalked 1/5
App is like the creepiest used car salesman you ever had the misfortune of meeting. Amazon really needs to dial it back several notches as the app is just too aggressive. If you ever buy or search for something it will keep trying to sell you more of the same and there is no way to stop it. Maybe some people find it helpful but I find it rude and obnoxious. Otherwise shopping Amazon is a positive experience. Being a prime member has a lot of pluses and I recommend them but please Amazon back off.

I have come to detest Amazon's shopping experience, on their regular site. I tried this app out today, and I'm very surprised by it. It was the first time in years that I could enjoy using Amazon. The app lets you shop without all the distractions of ads that the full site bombards you with. I know what I'm looking for when I shop the full site, but it is always buried under a thicket of ads, "sponsored results", and manipulated reviews and ratings. On the app it's easy once again to get from point A to point B as a Amazon user. I've missed the old days of using Amazon (in between Yahoo Games and Angelfire builds). The app gives a little of the old service back, when the site certainly doesn't. Before, the product you were looking for was just what the search results gave you, and user reviews and ratings helped you narrow down the results to a worthwhile choice. Now Amazon is clustered with lousy results. There is so much manipulation in the ratings and reviews that you can't make an educated guess one way or the other if a choice will prove bad. I don't like giving apps 5 stars, and I don't like Amazon much either: but this app allows you to steer clear of a lot of things like I've described. The user interface is elegantly designed, and site navigation easy and enjoyable. I say enjoyable because it had been been around a decade since the last time I remembered the Amazon shopping experience being so straightforward.

You used to be able to sort your lists by price, and now you only have default and priority. Who's priority? Not mine.
Stop pushing me to use this garbage app! When I click my email please send me to either the classic site or the mobile site, NOT your terrible app!

Downgraded Wish List Functionality 2/5

Now sorting and filtering of wish list in all is as minimal and useless as it has been for a while now on the desktop site. Sorting is limited to "Default" and "Priority." Gone are price sorting (indispensable for a large wish list), and even sorting by date added. So, I am stuck strictly with Amazon's annoying slight reordering of the list as I created it which they call "default." As for filtering, I can switch to a view that show me what I already bought (why would I care?) and nothing else (e.g. Items with price drops).
Upshot: I anticipate saving a fair bit of money on random discretionary purchases from Amazon going forward. So perhaps I should be thanking them, rather than criticizing them for stripping functionality from their app and web page.

List Sorting 1/5
I started using the app because that's the only way I could sort my List by low to high. I use the list for kindle purchases to see what books I've added have been reduced or are free, which happens everyday usually. Now I can't sort that way & would have to go through over 500 books I have on the list in order to see what's been reduced or is free. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!

Prior to this version, I used the app a lot, but I hate having to scroll all the way back to the top of a list to switch wish lists. Makes me want to revert to the older version of the app.

You can no longer filter lists by items with price drops on website OR app. It was just on the website. This was a useful shopping tool that netted Amazon purchases that would not have occurred without it. But, no more.
