    This app is OK for just normal transactions. But the card offers way more than that and the app fails to meet all that. For example, you cannot access amex travel with this app. With the hefty annual fee and great bebfits, the app is not meeting expectation. Hoping to see an update soon.

    I installed and reinstalled multiple times because I keep getting the message, "There is no internet connection" and I've yet to log on. And yes, I am connected to the internet!

    This app does an excellent job. I don't understand why it has such poor reviews. Sure you can't do as many things as you can on their desktop site but for a mobile app, it does very well. Things I'd like to see improved would be: - Can't pay bill before any balance is due I'll update as I see more places to improve but as of now that's the only issue.

    The app is easy to use but just hope you would allow me to make more payments as I use the card. It's a hit or miss if I can make a payment on a day to day basis. Wish it was like my other Capital One app, I can make payments on a daily. The worse thing is I don't wanna see a high balance on the card when statement closed but other than that it's been good.

    The app works well. Would like to see more web options in the app, such as checking to see if a charge will go through esp if over limit, etc. Also, when will you add personal loans...NEXT STEP... to the app so I can mange all of my Amex accts via the app.

    Literally does nothing. Installed and re-installed. Been reading the same balance for two months. Couldn't pay from Australia (thought that may have something to do with it) but can't pay in US either. Permanently uninstalled!

    Where is the due date? Why isn't the due date there? Very confusing and making me assume I've paid twice! I know it's at statement balance but why not put it underneath??? Underneath statement balance put, Due date: xx/xx/xx Amount owed: $xx Amount paid: $xx Would make it much easier, there's more but I can't remember off the top of my head. I'll update when I can.

    Amex has been going downhill. App is glitchy, poor customer service, and now even Mint is unsupported as of May 2017. Seriously?? I'll be using my MasterCard and Discover much more instead of my AMEX

    Apple seems to a special relationship with Amex. It is impossible to turn off location services for the app in the Privacy controls on my iPhone. I discovered one day when location based suggestion for shopping appeared in my notifications and I wasn't using the app.

    The app is very poorly made which is a reflection on the American Express service in general, their "platinum" concierge is pretty much useless. No wonder people are leaving in droves to other cards. I've been a member since 02 and I'm on the verge of canceling because it's pretty much turning into a paperweight of a card.

    I like the app. Easy to use. Easy to make payments. I only wish I could have two card accounts on one app. Since I already have the app, I can't seem to use both on one. I will continue to attempt this.

    My husband and I have been Amex cardholders for a very long time and we spend a lot of money on our Amex cards. (Full Disclosure: I worked at American Express in NYC for four years and have been a loyal cardholder ever since.) Despite my admiration for the company, their app is a major disappointment. Despite attempts to use this app over the course of the last two months, I still can't get into it. Because of the way Amex sets up its cards, I am a "supplementary cardholder" while my husband is considered the primary cardholder. However, I have full account manager access to our cards. And yet, I still can't use this app. I get the message "Our System is not responding. Please try again later". Clearly, unless you are the primary account holder, this app is pointless.

    Why does your designer hate accessibility? Even with my eye glasses, I have to take a screen shot of the app and use pinch to zoom in the photos app to see the available balance. Fix your fonts. You have mature adults using this app not just 20somethings.

    The current version works but AMEX removed many function I used regularly for monitoring my account and transactions. The new functions seems to promote AMEX revenue producing services. AMEX has every right to use the app to increase revenues but I, if only for my annual membership fee, deserve more, not less, features that help me manage my accounts.

    App looks great. However, I've noticed minute design changes in the last update which are both inconsistent with app global look and are also less easy to use. PLEASE, don't mess with a good thing just for the sake of doing something. Go play bocce or golf. Plus, why we still can't get the FICO score in iOS app?

    App keeps crashing, especially when I try to sign up for offers and link them to my card. Very frustrating. Won't use it anymore because I have to keep logging in. This is a recent problem. I otherwise would use it once a week. Please fix it.

    All it does is allows you to pay. But it doesn't show pending payments, or change payment dates. Waste of memory/storage space on you me phone. Talk about stupid app development.

    I enjoy the iPhone push notifications for transactions, but that's about the extent of use I get out of this app. Occasionally, I login to see "Recent Transactions," but the main thing that's missing for me is the ability to "Search Transactions" like I can on the Amex website. When dealing with a merchant, being able to see what has been charged to me instantly would be ideal and make this app much more useful. Thank you!

    When using the app and on the phone the bottom menu of the app is missing the buttons. Sometimes the number of clicks and decisions to make a payment are cumbersome
