Bau5 app 5/5
Simply, the best workout app!!! Sure it has room for improvement but I've already had significant amount of progress and it's only been a few weeks. I can't wait for updates and different routines perhaps? 🙌🏼💪🏼🏋🏻♀️
Very Rushed 3/5
I love the workouts this app gives me, but I hate that there is no option to pause the workout. Example: after a heavy final set of squat, I have only 90 seconds to refill my water bottle, re-rack weight, find the next machine and get ready before it’s already time to go again. It is very rushed and I feel like that can cause injury. You have the option to skip the exercise if you’re feeling any discomfort, but I would rather focus on the exercise than to rush myself and finish in the time it gave me.
Also, if you have a workout partner, this isn’t a great app for the two of you too go off.
Great app 5/5
Why i love this app:
It started with bench press with no weight(20 reps) then 25 on each side(17 reps) then 45 on each side 10(reps) then it spiked up to 45 + 25 + 10 on each side for 5 reps but i weight 140 and I'm 19 and i cant even do that yet i don't even think with a spotter but if you turn down the reps in the bottom to zero and swipe right it tells you why you did no reps and i choose it was to heavy and it fixed it the next time which i loved.
- Try it you'll like it
Great app! 5/5
Been using the app for a few months and I am overall very happy with it. It does repeat the same exercises but by doing so I was able to put on more weight on the bar. Pretty flexible in how it lets you manage the workload passing.
I encountered an issue with the app but the people in support were prompt to respond and fix it.
I'd consider myself a moderate lifter and wanted to find something to switch up my routine and this app caught my eye. Although I was very intrigued the first two weeks or so the workouts kept getting repetitive and you're not getting much of a variety of exercises for each muscle group. I could see this app being highly beneficial for beginners or novice individuals but past that you're not going to get much growth due to the low volume of each muscle group within each workout. Just my opinion.
It’s a great app BUT 2/5
It’s a great app has huge potential BUT if I have to close grip bench 295 for 6 again I’m going to snap my elbow. I train hard An I train heavy but I have never done bench 3 days in a row along with arms. Then for rdl the app says I was to strong an stops at 375 for 6 reps. Has great potential but needs work cmon guys.
Wouldn't Recommend Currently 3/5
I hit the regularly and I consider my self a physically fit individual. The weight jumps were ridiculous. All that information input at the set up didn't seem to matter. Overall, it's didn't show me anything I didn't know and was only a challenge for the weight I can't rep correctly. Three stars for user friendly, clean look and the timer was beneficial but the workout it's self didn't make much sense to me.
Good and Bad. 4/5
Despite the lack of variation, I really enjoy this app! It allows me to focus on lifting instead of thinking about what I am going to do next, therefore minimizing unnecessary gaps between set. On the other hand, the algorithm does seem a bit off at times and there need to be a good 4-5 more exercises thrown in on different days. Soooooo bench heavy...
This app doesn’t work properly I want a refund 1/5

This app need so much work is not flexible and when you try to adjust your input the only choice is to stop the workout you can be injured pretty quick
A great option for new guys 5/5
It does pretty much everything besides putting your weights back on. I would love to see more workouts added.
Love it 5/5
Straight up love using this app to guide me through workouts.
Overall Excellent App 4/5
I like the fact that I can go in the gym get a nice workout in less then 45min. I use to workout for hours at a time and hit a plateau, which is why I decided to try out the app. So far great... I am bulking up but hopefully ill start to lean out. Never really liked the bulky look. The reason I gave 4 stars is the variation in the workout the only way to trick the app into giving you a different workout is to say the equipment isn’t available. Just like anything in the life the body starts to remember the routine therefore you really don’t get the full benefits of the routine and are not just going through the motions. I’m trying to get lean and not bulky but overall great app
So far 4/5
Really enjoy the app so far. Really insane jumps in weight, but it causes me to push myself.
What is going on? 2/5
By Arrow dawg
How does this app determine what weight and rep amount. Because at my fitness level the reps were too high and so was the weight.
Sure you do fewer reps, but it doesn't let you adjust weight
And if you want to do more reps it doesn't let you. This app had promise.
Weight is off 4/5
Can figure how the weight jumps so high. Good app. Good sweat.
I ship dat 5/5

Good but can be better 3/5
Need more optimization to the workouts; weight pushed, workout variations. Need to be android friendly. On the right track
Love it 4/5
This is great for people on the go, or aren't in this field of expertise. It watches what you can lift and what you can't, it doesn't over work you. Stick with it and do what it says and it's like having a personal trainer in your pocket. I want to upgrade to pro to see how much better it will be for me but I can't commit to the 89$ a year. I get why they do it like this but a cheaper monthly or an outright purchase of a pro app and I would be okay.
Love this app! 5/5
Like it so far! 5/5
Great app for beginners or experienced lifters!
Good not great 3/5
I'm a personal trainer and would not recommend to a client. However, I do find it useful for off days when I want to get a solid workout in to start my day. It gives a decent variety for when you want a plan that works out several muscle groups in one day.
If you want an app to get you in peak physical condition, this is definitely not it. The algorithm clearly needs work - the reps/weight ratio are off.
Have it in your quiver of health apps, but don't make it your main source for fitness guidance.
Great Amateur/Moderate Workout App 5/5
This app is pretty good for Amateurs or moderate individuals who are learning how to workout. However, you must know your limits and do push yourself to do weights that are beyond your strength level.
P.S. Also, supersets are kinda annoying. I hope in the next update you have the option to turn that off!
Good App 4/5
I did about a week and half of a trial run on this app and decide to try the 3 month pro plan. Overall you work your butt off, haven't had a bad workout. But, here is where it falls short of 5 stars. 1.) so far it has been the same 4 workouts. Upper A and B, Lower A and B. Need more exercises there are 1000's out there. Abs, lower back and good hamstring exercises have not been on here. There is a Lower Body workout that does 2 quad exercises and goes into shoulders. Last time I checked Shoulders were upper body. I would like to see a selection screen of muscle groups that I select and the workout is created. I also would like the ability to drop the weight down if I miss a set due to it being to heavy. Like I said missing the mark but the app is so close!
Good app so far! 4/5
So far i have enjoyed this app alot but I would like to see an upper, lower, rest, upper, lower, rest option, or even an everyother day with upper, lower alternating. This app has a ton of potential! I would just like to work out more than 3 days of lifting and have it more balanced with atleast 2 upper days, and 2 lower days per week. Thanks Dev team and keep working at it!
Great so far, 14 Workouts in 4/5

I really like this app, as I feel it really pushes you to your full capabilities. I have yet to upgrade to the paid version but plan to do so after a month of using the free app. The reason for 4star rating is I wish I could decide to super set before each exercise not just at the beginning of each workout. My gym gets really busy and sometimes I can get the first super set completed but then the second set of super set is impossible due to availability of equipment.
Great workouts, great apps! 5/5
I cant say enough about the app. The routine is great and I am the strongest I have ever been. Been a frequent user of BAU5 for about 18 months and have really enjoyed how functional the app is and how easy it is to use. It is akin to having a personal trainer at your disposal.
Lots of promise but ultimately falls short. 2/5
At first, I was pretty excited to use this app. Starting out from day one I could tell there was something off. I'm not sure what algorithm the devs use to judge the weight and reps per set, but it's waaay off. For example, one set for bench had me doing 185lbs for 12 reps. Then on the next set, it chose to do 245lbs for 6 reps. There's also not much variety. If you like to do barbell bench, then this is for you. But anyone that's been training for a while (or even a moderate lifter) can tell you it's a bad idea to have someone do bench for every workout. After the insane difficulty spike with these lifts on upper day, I figured lower would be better. 2 leg exercises (leg press and RDL) was it for legs. After that, they thought it was a good idea to throw more shoulders and the exact same arm routine (bb curl + close grip bench). Guess what day 3 was? That's right, more bench. Oh and Day 4? Yup, more bench press. Fix the algorithm and vary the exercises and this app would be great.
This app is great. It takes all the thinking out of it. It will push you to the limit which is great
Simple to use... biggest thing I can say. I wish it was around the 10 $ price point .. great app tho 5/5
Best workout app I've used 5/5
What this app lacks in customization it makes up for in comprehensive training. It tells you exactly what to lift. If you can't, tell it why not and it makes adjustments. Costs more but worth it.
This app is amazing!
Best app yet 5/5
Tried a lot of apps for "personal trainer" type apps. This by far is the best and most challenging! Recommend to anyone trying to take it to the next level!!!!!!
Great App 5/5

I was beginning to plateau in workouts. I started working out everyday to try to increase my gains with no avail. After using this app for about 14 sessions I already see huge gains and I'm going to purchase the pro upgrade.
Great app 2/5
Great app just wish i could change weight.
So far so good 5/5
Did 3 sessions and got pretty good pumps and gains.
Solid App 5/5
Some times the workouts are too long because I start with cardio. Otherwise pretty solid, although I hope they keep improving
Great app 5/5
Love the app
Excellent App for workouts 5/5
Perfect for getting over that plateau.
Loving this app. Continually doing it helps improve strength and also helped me cut fat
Pretty good app!! 4/5
By Aditya Miriyala
This app is probably the best workout app there is. I've used many other well known apps but they don't meet my requirements.
Initial set up was amazing! It's like this app understand where every individual stands so that you can set it up exactly according to you. Hats off to the app developers for all the hard work they spent on minute details.
The only reason for 4 stars is that, this app only lets you work out for 3 days a week.
I normally tend to workout 5 days a week (resistance training)with one day active rest and one day complete rest.
That's probably the only draw back. If they could incorporate a workout routine for an individual to workout more than three days, it would be amazing!
Anyway, keep up the good work guys. My 100% appreciation to you all.

I've been using this app for about 2 weeks now my biggest suggestion is for it to give me a heads up for the amount of weight i need to have ready or add before the timer starts like for the super sets I waste time adding the weight it wants me to lift because it doesn't let me know ahead of time.
Great app 5/5

This is a great app to use as a guide when first working out. It helps to tailor your workouts to your strengths and helps strengthen your weaknesses. My only gripe is that it won't let you alter the weight after your trial sets. It's still a great app.
Good app 5/5
I've done 20 sessions with this app, already seeing good gains. I'd been lifting for about 11 months on my own three days a week, but doing the more traditional back and bi, chest and tri, legs rotation. I hit a plateau and was looking for something to change it up. I ran across this app and have been pleased, I feel strong.
Pros: multiple workouts, pre programmed, good instruction videos, receptive tech support.
Cons: can't control the weight options, needed a work around when I maxed out on dumbbell shrugs because my gym doesn't carry dumbbells over 100 lbs, the leg days sometimes take longer than I have time for, in a packed gym super sets are hard to do (you can opt out, but have to do that at the beginning - wish you could opt out as you go in the event that there are some that can be done).
Wish list: being able to compare progress photos side by side, take out super sets as you go, possibly change order of exercise our slip and come back to later to account for machines being used, add a core/abs component.
I think this app has potential but I don't want to use it and feel like I don't have control over what weight I do, I love the exercises it gives me but I'm not gonna start out my bench press at just the bar. It needs some improvement to give the user a bit more control, if I was working out with a trainer he would lay out a routine but he would definitely let me decide my weight to lift if I felt confident and comfortable.
LOVE IT!!! 5/5
Loving the app, I feel a difference in strength already, everything I've been looking for in an app
Great workout app 4/5
Best one I've found so far! Would be a 5 star if weight can be adjusted and if you mess up you could go back and adjust the reps done at that moment! Overall I'm very happy with this app and seeing good results after less then a week
Great app. 4/5
Has helpful video tutorials for each exercise that easily introduces new workouts for people unfamiliar with them. I like how it's able to switch to a different exercise using the same muscle if you can't get to a certain equipment. My only wish is that they give you the option to move to the next set when your ready as opposed to waiting the full rest period.
Loving the app 5/5
Only been using this app for a week now and I'm enjoying it. Just a few suggestions I would add such as it having 1.) Day to day routines, 2.) The ability to reset weight requested to lift; example- on the seated row machine it told me to row 500lbs for 6 reps, unfortunately my gym only goes to 275 so instead of faking the dunk I've just been increasing my reps at 275. If it offered that I would buy it definitely.
Best training app I have found. 5/5
