App is worthless 1/5
Has never once actually connected to my soundlink color II. How a company line Bose could put out such a piece of tech garbage is hard to fathom
Very poorly thought out 1/5
By Lorax pitchman
User interface is poorly laid out
Functionality lacks ability to change setting of the headphones
QC 35 owner. I would not buy them again. Premium price for an inferior product.
This is my first headset by BOSE. Amazed by the wireless technology. I however will not use these for picking up phone calls but for listen tho music and movies( like it should be). Pleased so far!
I love simple.Easy to work and the earbuds are Amazingly! comfortable and the noise canceling if above the average. I have not had a single problem. Definitely worth the money. I'm so glad I went with the company that I trust and know it's history of great products. We have 4 Bose products and they never let us down.
I'm giving the app 2 stars because it does what it's supposed to. It would get more stars if it actually did something useful enough to warrant taking up space on my phone. What exactly is the point?
Collecting User Information 1/5
By default collects information about played media and sends it to Bose.
Farming my data after I paid so much for my headphones is unacceptable and cannot be any more valuable to product development than decent internal testing.
Offering a clear opt-in or opt-out selection when starting the app for the first time would have been sufficient, but requiring the user to accept data collection to use the app is going too far.
I will be using this app to update my headphones firmware and then removing it from my phone.
When 2 devices connected to 1 speaker music skips.
No Apple series 3 Watch support 1/5
No Apple series 3 Watch support. If Bose doesn't have Watch OS support by September 22, 2017 don't waste you money on their products for use with Apple. Apple Watch Series 3 is a game changer. No need to carry an iPhone if you have an Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular.
Add you Watch to most data plans for $10 a month.
Stream all you iTunes too.
Check it out.
Piece of crap 1/5
This piece of crp doesn't work!!! At all! I have revolve, it doesn't connect tru this app!
I Can't Believe This App has 3 Stars! 1/5
Forums all over the place talking about how infuriating it is to try to update your qc35's. ESPECIALLY if you're on a Mac. Get it together, Bose..
Works Sometimes 2/5
When the App works it's fine. Unfortunately, half the time it doesn't work and can be extremely frustrating. The headset is wonderful but the App needs to be upgraded!
So Cool 5/5
The music sharing is awesome.
Consistently Inconsistent 1/5
Half the time the app works perfectly and is clean and simple to use. The other half of the time it can't find my headphones or disconnects them when they are already connected. Just fix the connection issues and this is a 5 star app.
Very good app 5/5
After the updates, I can control the noise cancellation. Great app!!!
Does not always connect 1/5
I have 4 sound touch devices and they are awesome, however, the app is hit and miss and sometimes does not work for NO apparent reason
Idk what happened, but my QC35 is getting totally mixed up with which BT device to connect to. That didn't used to happen while I was streaming and it does now. I'll be listening to something and then audio just disappears. (Update: When I restart the audio it blasts out the iPhone when it's got a connection icon on the display for the Bose.)
I hate when I lose a call because short pressing the volume button doesn't answer the call. Long pressing the center of the volume button rejects the call and the last audio starts playing even if no audio was playing before the call.
Streaming audio stops when I'm moving between WIFI and LTE. It means I have to shutoff WIFI to keep streams going.
Bose sounds great but I'm giving up on the Bluetooth products. It doesn't work with iOS. Losing/hanging up on calls and blasting out the iPhone speaker is very irritating.
Most other BT headsets don't require answering with the phone and this device does. I have to slide to answer on the iPhone, and then tell the iPhone to switch to the headset that I'm already wearing. That's like 2-3 seconds and is a long time for someone on the other end of the call to wait to hear "Hello." I'd give this thing 0 stars. The programming is not quality and it puts the noise cancellation feature to waste; I need to know when I have a call and be able to answer it.
No EQ settings? 1/5
By Da Wadest Reviewer of All Time
The fact that there isn't a function to adjust the sound settings for different kinds of music, bass preferences, etc, is utterly mind-blowing. One of the main reasons to have an app with your headphones, no?
Clumsy app 1/5
Love the speaker, hate the app.
Best earphones cleared sound 4/5
Good sound and quality 👍👍
So far so good.
Limited functionality but well made 4/5
This app is meant as a utility to managing the connections with your headphones. It doesn't do a ton else, but it does it well and is well designed. I also appreciate that you can turn off the noise canceling function
App is Junk... 1/5
Will not connect to my Revolve through the app. I can connect through the Bluetooth settings, but then the app still doesn't recognize the pairing. Was going to buy a second Revolve so I could pair in stereo but without a functional app I'll wait...
Great job all the way around!!! 5/5
bad connection.... 1/5
I do not want to say a single word...
I hate "unsuccessful connection "!!!
Doesn't work 1/5
The app won't connect to the speaker and keeps telling me to pair in the the settings even if I've already paired
Very Useful app 5/5
Qc35 is a great headphone but it's even better with this app you can do much more with the new update like reducing noice cancellation, share music with other Bose products, put a switch off timer but it would be better if they put a 10 min timer between the 5 and 20 min.
Poor quality 1/5
Cant sync the app... work with phone but as soon I try to use the app wont work
Waste of space 1/5
By Texas Double D
Useless app. You can name your earphones and control the volume. Gee thanks. Complete BS.
Good stuff! 5/5
Needs a little bit of bug squishes though.
Edited Review from 2 stars to 5 5/5
Finally!! Option to disable the automated pesky voice. All I hear is a beep now. Not a problem at all.
It's not giving me the list of what Im connected and disconnected to when I turn it on.
Thank you for listening 🙏🏼
Don't find anything wrong expect it won't update 5/5
The update keeps resetting been a few hours but I stay in the 7-16 mins update but it doesn't effect anything great app if you have the headphones
It does what it's supposed to...I guess. But why not add features that permit the user to adjust the lows, the mids and the highs? If Jaybird can figure it out, why can't Bose?
You can opt out of tracking now 4/5
By Sean Niu
There's a new setting in the privacy section to opt out of data collection. I can safely use this app again.
If it only worked all the time 2/5
Very iffy pairing with my QC 35. UI is good but what good is it if it's not consistent.
Unstable Party/Stereo mode 1/5
By Wade vicky
Unstable party/stereo mode, especially using the bottom to connect two revolves
The update rendered my Sound Sport Wireless headphones useless. 1/5
Sounds great, works terrible.
Need to connect more iOS/macOS devices at the same time!! 4/5
At the same time, only two devices can be connected, which is too inconvenient.
By Great keyboard
Wish it had more feats.
Customize the names of the ConnectedDevice.
Bose QC 5/5
This app is one of the best! The technology really rocks!! More power guys!!!
Ok, but... 2/5
Why is it asking me to connect when it's already connected? Then when I hit connect it errors out and can go no further?
Great app 5/5
Works well with QC35 and other wireless. Kind of goes together like peanut butter and jelly. Like chocolate and fluff. Very nice.
By john's tech
Works fine. Just not much use. Would love to see the ability to change the sound profile.
Great headphones close to useless app 1/5
The app is almost useless. Can't do anything but naming your headphones and download firmware.
I would expect that you can equalize the headphones or have additional options like regulate the noise canceling intensity, etc. ... "sad!" :)
Nice companion app for headphones 5/5
Control it gives me over the headphones is nice. Evrything I need, plus ota uogrades.
The headphones are sooooo easy to connect! This is a wonderful app. I highly recommend these headphones.
By Someone save wireless!!
Sound quality is really good. The volume level of the earbuds is just ok. I'm beginning to think there's not a pair of wireless earbuds that have the volume level they should have for the price. Ok, this App is really useless. You can basically use the app instead of the 3 buttons on the earbuds.
I'll be returning the earbuds to Verizon this week and uninstalling the app. Just buy a $20 pair of earbuds and save a lot of aggravation. Hope this helps someone.
Poor with multiple devices 2/5
Does not work well with multiple devices. Since i switched from wired headphones, I spend my days untangling the invisible wires of bose's bluetooth connection. Very frustrating if you have multiple things. If not, you dont need this app
Love the speaker but app has issues 3/5
The revolve speaker rocks. But with my wife and 2 kids all wanting to connect via Bluetooth I often get the message that I'm connected but there's no sound from the speaker. Have to disconnect all devices and start over. But to have to do this every couple of days is a big bummer
Simple to use. App works well.
Bose headphones are Great 4/5
By Charles' Wife
I've always loved Bose products since I first heard a pair of Speakers when I was very young .
