    Really terrible. Very surprising that something this bad comes from Bose. You can be in the same room with both Revolve speakers and it won't find them. Or it will find them and refuse to connect.

    I haven't used my headphone in a while suddenly I use the app cause I decided to start using them again and it asks and then the apps asks for an update on the headphones! I just thought it was very neat and extremely easy to use as it was helping me.

    The app worked fine connecting to my soundsport earbuds. But the app says "preparing update" with a 30-minute timer. At the end of 30 minutes, nothing happens...it just restarts the timer for another 30 minutes! Very irritating. Please Bose, either fix the problem or turn the timer off for God's sake. UPDATE: Bose fixed the issues I was having. Works great now. Thank you Bose.

    I have the auto shutoff timer be "never" so I'm sure the device didn't shut off or lose connection, but the 30 minute update "download" keeps repeating itself over and over again but didn't actually update the firmware. Please fix this and include it in the next release note!

    Absolutely worthless App. It showed my QC 35s and like instructed I dragged the headphone image to pair. Showed "connecting" Then headphones audio said: "mobile device not found" no connection. Tried it a dozen times, then paired through my iPad's normal Bluetooth control page; instantly connected and works great. Thanks for wasting my time bose.

    Why does it take half an hour or more to download one update for one pair of headphones? My internet is fast, 100mbps, connection strong, but the update process is super slow.

    Main use I found is swing the battery life and firmware updates which is actually really nice. But, I really wish Bose had an equalizer part of the app that would make it better then the jaybirds. Come on Bose you can do it I believe

    Please please please add a way to disable notifications entirely or to reduce their volume. Right now you can only select voice or tone notifications, and they are extremely loud, even if you're listening to something very quietly. There's also an extremely poor design choice of screaming in your ear when one of two devices is disconnected, even if that device isn't delivering the audio... you're listening to a podcast on your phone and walk away from your computer "MACBOOK PRO DISCONNECTED!!!!" Great, thanks for needlessly deafening me for a useless notification. Bose please please fix this and allow users to control the volume of notifications or mute them entirely. Your hardware is great but the poor software makes these very expensive headphones unusable.

    This Is My 2nd Pair Of QC35's. I'm Sorry For Anyone Experiencing Problems With The Upgrade. The Only Thing Irritating About The UpdateWith The Sound Cancelling Control Is. why Didn't Bose Do It Sooner? I Was A Tad Spooked Being Home Alone Trying To Utilize Them, Not Knowing If Someone Could Be In My House And I'd Never Know!!!! However Now I Can Hear Outer Surrounding Noise And Still Enjoy My Music. When I Want Full Sound Cancelling I Have That Option As Well. And Linking My Headphones Together With My Girls QC35's While We Are In The Gym Is Stellar Keep It Up🏋🏾🏃🏿‍♀️🎧👏🏿.........

    Make sure that the auto shutoff timer is set to something greater than 20 minutes or just listen to the device for the full 30 minutes that's it is updating, or else it will shut off and restart!

    Crashes frequently. Fails to connect to headphones. Mostly useless. Be careful with this app. Bose is collecting your usage data (including serial number) so they can tie your usage to you specifically. I'm not sure I trust Bose any longer, but you can opt out on the privacy tab of the app. Probably doesn't do anything, but it's worth to a try. Bose, how does knowing what songs I play improve your product? It can't possibly. It can, however, make you money when you sell it to anybody who wants it.

    Very frustrating. All of a sudden I cannot longer connect the app to the Soundlink speaker. It plays music from iPhone fine, but app does not recognize speaker and keeps telling me to pair it even though already paired. None of the app features are therefore available. Needs fixing!!

    I installed the app after I purchased the headphones. It began downloading an update, which took over 30 minutes. After the download was complete, the restarted the download again. I have gone through 5 downloads, noticing that the app version stays the same. I finally gave up and deleted the app. The Bose headphones are great, but unfortunately the app doesn't uphold the same quality standards as their hardware.

    Extremely happy with the adjustable noise cancellation. Works really well, when outside or under a fan. A couple things I hope could be fixed is its Bluetooth capabilities, maybe a farther range ?

    I love my SOUNDSPORT, but the only thing that would make me sell it is, that ringing sound when I call someone is too high but the voice after the call is answered is normal and the hang up and the hanging up noise com up is too loud please adjust the calling sound level as the same as the ringer level my ear started to hurt

    I just got a pair of qc35s last week. They worked great, then the app updated the firmware, and they still work great! It's nice being able to adjust the noise cancellation level. I'd prefer a continuous control instead of just having 3 levels, but this is better than I expected.

    6/22 revision: DO NOT UPDATE QC35 to firmware version 1.3.2 (contained within 4.2 app update). Total Bluetooth failure, will not pair or connect afterwards. This is not an isolated incident, other reviewers are having similar experiences. Not worth it. Old review: More often than not just generally fails to connect to my Bose products. Have to constantly power cycle them to get it to work, if it ever does!
