Bumble – Find a Date, Meet Friends & Network App

THE BUZZ IS REAL “A win-win for both genders.” - Inc. “Bumble's found a way to weed out jerks online.” - Time “Bumble is redefining dating rules.” - Cosmopolitan “Bumble is swiping the weirdness out of online dating.” - Fast Company CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME Finding relationships online isn’t embarrassing anymore. Bumble has lifted the stigma of online dating by employing robust reporting and setting unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. The app has also successfully shaken up traditional gender roles in heteronormative dating. On Bumble, ladies always talk first. Bumble is also the first of its kind to bring friend-finding to social networking. Now you can swipe through potential dates and friends on the same platform. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move and 24 hours to respond or the connection expires. Prompting conversation has lead Bumble to the highest post-match chat rate in the industry. ------- Bumble is free to download and use. We also offer an optional subscription package. Subscription service conditions:
• The cost of the optional subscription for Bumble Boost is $4.99 for 7 days, $9.99 for 30 days, $23.99 for 90 days, $35.99 for 180 days

  • Great concept 2/5

    By AlvinClarkston
The thought of this app is awesome but not sure women actually know they have to write first. Every match just ends up expiring because they never message. Either the women don't understand this or a lot of fake profiles to get you to pay money.
  • Great app 5/5

    By Colbs202
    Best on the market
  • Not a serious dating app 1/5

    By drewbie.X
If you want something long-term, this isn't the app for you. Bumble isn't designed for any serious dating. It's designed for casual encounters. The majority of the women on Bumble are extremely shallow. If you're not at least an 8, or have a six figure income and no kids, matches will be few and far between. The bright side is that the women on Bumble will almost always jump in to bed with you on a first date/meetup. Do NOT purchase anything in this app. Boosts do not help you get matches if you don't already get them organically. Sadly, the best way to get matches is to seriously swipe right on every single profile and only reply to those you're actually interested in. There's no penalty for it, which, honestly, devalues this app even further. It's a good app for a one night stand, but it feels like you're more likely (as a man) to find a serious connection on Tinder. Once you get a few matches and go on a few dates you'll find the women that are actually worth dating or committing to are few and far between. My experience with Bumble has been all beauty, no substance, and a dash of narcissism and resentment toward men. It's not really worth your time if you, like me, actually want someone you can end up coming home to every day.

  • Great App 5/5

    By Alexis Strong
Of course there will always be people that don't align with your views, but I was shocked at how many good guys exist in the world. I met so many of them on Bumble. I recently hit it off with one of them; so I will be allowing that to run its course. I would recommend this dating app, regardless of my meeting him because I met some good guys on here and even befriended some people.
  • Great UI, neat concept. 5/5

    By Z J Kendall
The UI, though similar to Tinder, is much more user friendly. Better system for both men and women.
  • Matches disappeared 1/5

    By Squishy_squish
So my first match I waited literally like 12 hrs to initiate a convo bc I was tired and it was late at night. So when I went back to message him the match was gone. Today....literally an hour ago I matched with another guy. Messaged him and then he messaged me back. Got a call I had to take before I could message him. Less than 2 hours later I went to message him back and the match was gone. I don't know if it's a glitch or a ploy to get people to pay so we can continue to see our matches, but if that's the case I'm not about it. Please fix this.

  • Fake profiles galore; boost is worthless 1/5

    By Avid Chive viewer
Zero matches compared to other dating apps despite having the same pictures, info, and search terms. Bumble boost is worthless (I am no George Clooney but would consider myself fairly attractive) yet never have any matches on this app- others have said the same.
  • Great 5/5

    Love this app :)
  • Technically my boyfriend and I met on Bumble. 5/5

    By NotMattsGf
I mean, it's a big "technically", and we never planned on meeting up until a mutual friend found out we were talking and basically gave us the push, but we technically met on the app. And we're kinda super happy about it.
  • Loves! 5/5

    By Szlngstr
3 weeks in & I have met a couple of girls who I had fun going out on the town with here in Austin, Tx! Also matched up with a few nice guys. A win for me!
  • Profile picture 1/5

    By TimDDenson
This app won't let me upload profile pictures, and then won't let me go pass the page telling you, that you need a profile picture. Kinda confusing since my Facebook has multiple profile pictures. I have deleted and updated the app, but it is still not letting me use it because of the profile picture (which they won't let me add).
  • Great dating app 5/5

    By BB10023
Very easy and intuitive to use plus on average the woman seem to be much better looking than other dating apps such as Match.
  • Met the love of my life 4/5

    By Aanpepa
Not sure if this review may be biased but I found the love of my life on this app a year ago. This was my first dating app and I was not disappointed. A year ago it was cool that you didn't have to pay for anything but it looks like they've upgraded to having you pay for an upgrade to get better matches...interesting. Anyway I still use this app to find friends...so far connected with a few but yet to actually meet up with friends. However, I can't be mad since this app changed my life. Soooo, thanks bumble 😬
  • Pretty good stuff 4/5

    By John Heggie
I think bumble is a little better than tinder because the females have to make the first move.
  • More of the same 3/5

    By Pokervixen
Pic quality is great but there's still these fake teaser profiles which are now pointless. I'm finding guys still don't talk even after I initiate conversation with an actual question, not just "hi" or "how are you?" Why bother with any dating if you're not going to communicate? Doubtful there's as many actual CEOs as claimed. Seems like another way to encourage fakes App reminds you about expiring connections even if you've unmatched which is annoying. If they're no longer in town, I'll unmatch. Remind guys that there's a conversation waiting not tell me that it's about to expire when he hasn't answered. How about filtering on some deal breaker type things first? Smoker or not, religious or not, kids or not. Might not matter for some but key for others. This would be especially helpful when profiles are a scant 300 characters to tell about yourself. Also, why can I hit return in a feedback report but not my profile. Just pointless Profiles should be at least as long as app reviews can be. Just saying
  • Best swipe app on the market 4/5

    By Jahoo18
Better than Tinder. Girls message first means there's no need to send a well thought out message and never get a response (if they made a "mistake swipe" they will just expire). Finally, there aren't any fake accounts. Tinder is full of them.
  • Best app out there 5/5

    By Yarynkar
So far, this is the most civil, decent app out there. No creeps, no rude insane freaks. Just normal, grown up people.
  • Way better than tinder 5/5

  • You will get catfished 1/5

    By @dandebellis
At first the girls seem higher tier than tinder but usually they're just fake accounts run by gay guys
  • Doesn't work 1/5

    By Cyberbadger
Ever since I first installed the app, it has been completely useless. It just goes and asks for a profile picture and won't accept anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, I've tried taking new pics, using pics from my library, and pics off of Facebook. Still it asks for a profile picture. Completely worthless.

Honestly, if you're going to swipe right on someone at least reply back to their message. What's the point of swiping right on them if you're not even going to reply??

    Great app!!!!
  • Do not Upgrade 1/5

    By Shideh70
I chose a 1 month option and paid. There was no hint that they are going to charge every month! You don't get a notification ahead either. Now nowhere in the App I can find my payments setting! It's all behind the scene. If you wanna upgrade make sure you know exactly what you are choosing. More over, you won't get much either...
  • This site is ridiculous 1/5

    By Moonlightgirl88
Almost every profile looks like a model and no average looking men. Not with the download
  • Cancel Subscription 1/5

    By verashep
No way to unsubscribe through the app. Thought deleting it would do it but I was charged again. Had to go through the App Store and unsubscribe using my Apple ID (only found this out after googling). >.>

    Rad app
  • Crashes Regularly 1/5

    By Askj73akijdn1994887jdj83!h
Crashes sometimes lasts for days. There is no indication and no one to tell you what's going on. If you were chatting with someone and setting up a date, well you'd better cancel until Bumble gets their developers out of bed. There are over 30% Asian living in San Francisco, although I see only about 5% Asian women on the app. Hmmm, sum ting wong. App is great for killing time swiping left at all the women who over enhance their pics with blur and fog apps. I've seen some women who's noses were completely gone.
  • Nice App 5/5

    By AZ meat
Well I give the app credit but it just seems like Bumble has way more normal people than some others.
  • Fake accounts 1/5

    By StasKay
So many fake accounts on this app ... Girls i've already swiped on but now their account has a few other pictures... And its not because they changed the pictures cuz it was in the last 5 min... Bumble if you're gonna pretend like there are more girls on here than there really are at least write your algorithm so i don't realize that by swiping across the same person twice within 5 minutes
  • Its just not populated enough 3/5

    By Isaacson77
Made two accounts, one male, one female. Both were equally attractive, and both had no bio. Female account accumulated hundreds of likes in a day, male account accumulated 3. This disproportion is seen in many apps, but is much more present here. If you are a male, do not expect to find matches unless you are 23-27, an 8-10, and in a stable job.
  • Women if you swipe right chat 4/5

    By SmunkKidGeek
I enjoy not having the pressure to chat first. I know this is not a design flaw it's just I have a high percentage of women who don't even chat. I extend as many as I can for free. I realize that some women do not login every day or they may swipe right on a couple people and start chatting with someone and then the other person has ignored. What would be nice is if a woman could say started a conversation and will chat if that does not work. That would be nice but that way you get tossed back into their queue
  • It's pretty good 5/5

    By Crdlqr
I've never matched with anyone on Bumble but I attribute that to my ugly face and insincere personality. It's a good concept because it relieves guys from having to talk first and protects women from fuccbois due to the "let one person through per day" system.
  • Better than tinder! 5/5

    By iTunes stafff
    Works great
  • Poor app 1/5

    By Mama1305
Downloaded and whenever I would get a match it asked me to pay for boost services to reveal my matches. For days I would get new matches and not be able to see. I'm not paying monthly for services I don't know are worth it. It says matches are free, yet it won't reveal them with out subscription to boost.
  • Solid 5/5

    Solid app
  • Hate it. 1/5

    By Taymnhg
I HATE THIS APP. It froze on the My Info page and NO ONE has responded to my emails for help. Spread the word: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
  • Worthless 1/5

    By Avg player
This app is worthless. It says if you have a match you can talk. I had a match and it required me to purchase boost to talk. And the log in with Facebook ask for a pile of info as well as you friends list. Nowadays when privacy is such a big issue they try to pry everything out of you so they can send messages to join to your friends. Getting out of this dodge now. Don't ask any questions as the usual we will get back to you in 48 hrs and still don't reply.
  • Best dating app 5/5

  • Meh 2/5

    By Mrc12563
If you notice most of these reviews aren't about people actually meeting each other. It's like most of the people on here are non existent. As if they someone has created a ton of fake profiles with pictures of models. I had a ton of matches yet no one wrote back. I've heard this time and time again they might not have actual users. Or maybe the 24 hr window is short.. who is on the app everyday?
