It keeps me on track, I can enter recipes and control portions before I eat. I reduce portions based on my app counts. I love the grading of foods to scan so I can try to eat only those that get an A!

I tried the Weight Watches app for a month for a comparison. They had no free option so I had to purchase it. It does not give the nutrients which I feel is very important and was much more difficult to use. I didn't find a lot of the food items in their data base.

I like the screen and trend graphics; tracking is not hard. I like that activity and other data pulls in from the Apple health app. However, finding plain, non-brand name food to track is difficult so I’ve had to do a lot of manual additions. Also, the barcode scanner has never identified the food correctly, so it’s frustrating and essentially useless.

I found this app very easy to use. I'm losing the average,which is a little over pound a week. I like being able to easily plan my calorie consumption. It syncs with my Apple Watch and there are other activity trackers that it will sync with too. That makes it so easy to get credit for the calories you burn. If there is something special I want to enjoy that day, it is easy to adjust my other meals or even up my exercise, so that I can have a treat once in a while. I checked out a few apps and concluded that this one was best for me, I've not been disappointed.
I'm using the free app and it does everything I need. Not sure what else the paid app would add but I'm not willing to pay $59.99 to find out.
First app to help me lose weight 5/5

I never wrote a review. I just take all the freebies and run with it. But I thought I would take time to do so for this app. I had a failed goal of losing weight this year. January first of 2017 I committed to losing half a pound a week. I thought it was doable enough. By the end of the year I would be 26 pounds lighter. Fast forward to August and I was still about the same weight.
I was fed up and I found this app after researching many others. My weight loss journey really began at this point. I said I would just be brutally honest and start recording what I ate and how much activity I did each day. This app is very user friendly and I was able to input my food with ease and my exercises. The first two weeks was basically just tracking food. There was light activity but not very much. After I saw how many calories I was consuming in snacks between meals I started to cut those out. After the snacks I noticed how many calories my meals were. I cut those back. I lost a few pounds just doing that.
After losing that weight I decided to kick up the exercise portion. I do jump ropes and hiit workouts that I find on the web for free. They are super intense but it's over fast. Thanks to the motivation of that started with the help of this app I am down 14 pounds in four months and I hope to drop another five before the end of the year.
I can't speak of this app being super accurate with the calorie counts of foods and calorie burns of workouts. But I can speak of how this app helped me get off my overweight butt, control my eating habits, and start a healthier lifestyle change. If you're struggling to get healthy I highly recommend this app for you.

I've used a few different apps for calorie counting, but this one is by far my favorite! In less than 2 months I've lost almost 14 pounds. I love that this app tells you your calorie intake and also the percentage of fats, carbs, and proteins. I've never been great at drinking the recommended amount of water either, but being able to chart that really helps! There's so much about this app that I really enjoy, I could go on and on 😊

Honestly logging your food makes you realize how much you have absently been shoving in your mouth. I have been logging my food for about 6 month and I have lost 53 pounds! I love this app!

My review is one sided as I have never used any other calorie counter app, but I never felt the need to. I've had this app since May of 2016 and I'm writing this review November of 2017. For the first three months I used it daily and then after that on and off any time I felt I was falling off track. Along with Herbalife as my main source of Nutrition, Ive used this app to make sure I was staying ahead of my goals, and it worked! Using this app and Herbalife I have lost 116Lbs! From 327 to 211! I recommend it to anyone who wants to loose weight. It really helps put everything in perspective.

I started out using this app after going to the doctor and finding out how out of shape and unhealthy I have been. I found this app and absolutely love it!! I've lost nearly 20lbs in just over 1 1/2 months. I couldn't have done it without this app. The customization you can do on micros is awesome for your particular goals. Get this app if your serious about loosing weight and eating healthy!

I have tried so many out there, but this one is the best. I am able to lose weight and maintain it through calorie tracking and suggestions provided by MyNetDiary. I recommend this app without hesitation. I love that my exercise is tracked as well and connected to the app. This way you know how many calories you lost after exercising. You can also have access to your apple watch. I just love it! One thing, I would like that the apple watch calories that are not triggered by exercise (walking, step counting) add towards the burning of the exercise calories as well so you know,the total calories burned that day. Thank you.

this app is fantastic. It’s so much more user friendly than myfitnesspal or loseit! It also doesn’t have ads which take up a lot of room on other, similar apps.

This app has been an eye opener for me. I felt like I was eating healthy, but once I started tracking my food I realized I was eating twice what I should be in calories! I track every little thing and hold myself accountable and I've lost 13.4 pounds in the last week. Love this app!!

My fitness pal is better and more free options. You have to pay for some options with this app that you get free with my fitness pal. The cost is very high and the monthly cost is almost the cost of some gym member ships monthly. Not sure the quality is worth the price here.

I enjoy being able to track my calorie intake as well as the exercise I do. What I really enjoy is the weight loss graph where it shows the projected weight loss and where you actually are.

I was using an app recommended by an acquaintance (MyFitnessPal) but found it rather complicated and time consuming. Plus it was packed with ads and other annoying clutter. I think a free version should try to impress the user into wanting the upgrade; that one just made me frustrated and cross. I went looking for an alternative to try and have been so impressed with MyNetDiary. The screens are clean and easy to understand, the food database is uncluttered, and scanning in barcodes and adding individual portions is simple. At this time, I don’t appear to need the sophistication available with the paid version, so I am just praying that nothing happens to this app to spoil it.
After using this app for some time I cross referenced the app against about a half dozen calorie calculator online, and the results were consistent: MyNetDiary’s daily calorie allowance was higher than all the other calculators by an average of 300 calories.
I have been using the app and thought it was great and easy to use.
Every day it showed I had extra calories left with exercise.
After a couple weeks I realized that although the apple on the MAIN screen is green and it tells me I have calories LEFT to consume, lower down it’s saying I’m not on target and I need to exercise more to burn over 100 more calories!!!!
I went back through and this has happened every day.
The detailed written out summary of my day is telling me I’m over on my calories, but my main screen is telling me I have calories left to use. VERY discouraging and frustrating!
I will be finding another app to use.

I love this app. I just had a baby 2 months ago and I finally started my diet and exercise plan about 3 weeks ago. Since being pregnant I lost 20 pounds and since it's been hard to lose weight. Once I started the app it helped keep me on track and I've lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks! I definitely recommend it!

I really enjoy using this app because it tells me if the food choices I making our good or bad. It uses A-D ratings on the food choice you input. A lot of times are used to think that certain things were very healthy or better choices until I saw the writing on the app. Then I would go to Google and ask for a healthier alternative, and sure enough there was one. Counting calories definitely helps lose weight. This app will help keep you on track to where you need to be.

I used to use the calorie count app, before it was taken offline. This app has been an very useful tool for helping both my wife and myself to monitor of food choices and daily exercise. Diet and exercise are key to healthier and happier living. And having a tool as useful as MyNetDiary can definitely be beneficial to maintaining or changing into a more positive way of living

Okay, but needs improvement on database for whole food 3/5
I am not finding this app to be useful for one main reason, and I have a suggestion: your "huge food database" does not make it easy to find whole foods. If I just want to add "chicken breast" or "blueberries" then I have to scroll through multiple entries of processed foods (and can't even find some whole foods). Perhaps you could put whole, natural food nutrition entries at the top of the search results? While your app may be great for people who only eat or track data on packaged foods with barcodes, it's not as user friendly for people who cook at home with real food and want to track the calories or nutrition data. Many diet, health and wellness programs today are encouraging people to eat more whole foods. Please make it easier for these people to track the nutrition data of the foods they are eating. I have used other calorie/nutrition tracking apps in the past and their whole food databases were much larger than yours.

I actively used this app about eight years ago. Then I went on with my life and now I am needing to track everything again to reach my nutritional and physical goals. This app remembered who I am from way back then. In addition, I am amazed at the increased utility that is in this app when I already loved it eight years ago. Scanning the barcodes!!! Wow. How did I do without it before?

Clearly the dietitians responsible for this app are stuck in the 90’s. They probably think all forms of saturated fat and cholesterol are bad too. Can’t follow their advice.

This app really helps you understand what you are eating. It's very easy to use and the fact that you can either enter your food item or use what others have entered is so convenient. I like how you can track calories burned with different activities and that you can keep track of how much water you drank as well. Everything I need is in this app. This is the second time I've used it for weight loss successfully.
