This app helps me stay accountable with regards to all I eat.
Works as purposes 4/5
By Kwality Guy
Been using it for 10 days. Has a few crashes here and there, a few foods that aren’t nutritionally correct but overall fit for purpose for my weight loss and food diary goals. Recommend it to those starting out!
Blog is obnoxious 1/5
This isn’t just an app, it also forces you to see its blog on its home screen. The articles and recipes are awful. I don’t think I’m going to continue with this app unless they create the ability to turn it off.
Friend connect 5/5
Great app! Tied to my Fitbit and three friends creates a support group essential to success. Like the details of nutrition, much more important than just calories
Would give it 5 stars but... 2/5
App keeps crashing. Idk what happened. Never did it before, been using the app since 2016, all of the sudden it’s crashing all the time.
KEEPS FREEZING 2/5
I’ve found this app helpful in the past but the last few months it’s been freezing ALL THE TIME and takes forever to load.. it’s becoming really irritating to use.
No calories for weights? 3/5
I want calories burned count for weight lifting. It’s bogus that I pay $10 a month and that’s isn’t a thing.
Best food/exercise tracker app 5/5
Easy to use; tracks what I want to keep track of; reminds you that you need to enter your stats; extremely well thought out!
Good, but not great. 2/5
Why are the recipes that pop up in my feed in the data base? It seems like a no brained that you should be able to add these right from the video in to your food diary. Also, I rated only 2 stars because the “upgrade to Premium” messaging is too much. I get it...you want me to upgrade to a paid subscription. From what I can tell the Premium features are of no interest to me so there should be a way to say “no thanks” to the upgrade and get rid of all the Premium upgrade buttons all over the app. It’s super annoying!
My favorite health app 5/5
Before trying my fitness pal, I had used other tracking apps like lifesum and LoseIt. The apps weren’t anywhere near as comprehensive, and they always made me feel guilty when I fell off the bandwagon.
This app is great because it’s not pushy, and you can get really in-depth readouts of your daily nutrition and activity.
Definitely would recommend to others!
Love it 5/5
I’ve used this app a couple times after having kids and have been successful every time. It’s very tedious work in the beginning but it helps you to realize the amount you eat and the value of what you’re eating.
Weight loss app 5/5
Amazing to keep track of eating and exercise! Love it!
Keeps me honest 3/5
Good but not great. No calorie count for strength exercises. Limited calorie count for cardio exercise. Good for tracking food intake. Worth a try.
Love it!!! 5/5
Love this app! I’ve used others with no real results in weight loss. I’ve seen results in just a week already!
1. It would be great if there was a place to put in measurements for body parts like chest, waist, hips, arms and legs. Seeing those results would be awesome!
2. It would be awesome to track sleep patterns too. Even if it just imported the info from another app or the Apple Watch or the Health app. Having all the info in one place would really help.
3. Would love it if you could take s pic of food not in the database that would analyze ingredients to add to your meal. Ex: omelette with ham, mushroom, onion, spinach. From the pic.
All in all, BEST app I’ve ever used! The food database is awesome once you figure out to push the search button to find the food. Really extensive list of good portions from restaurants. Makes logging good easier and making decisions to eat only portions of the meal due to the amount of calories. It’s soooo great!
Love the app but... 5/5
For some reason my calorie count is subtracting exercise from total calories. It used to add exercise to total calories. Is this something new? Otherwise, live the app!
By NH Candyman
My main goal is to control portions and daily calorie intake.
Dam good 2/5
I had been using another app that track my food consumption and it is good. However almost every time I use it it turns it self off losing everything I was about to enter. Seconds later I log back on and quickly add my food. Very frustrating especially if you’re searching for foods. I thought it was because the app needed updating but I am running the most recent version. This has been happening for months. Please fix it!
When trying to see a restaurant menu like Jersey Mike's, it gives an error every time and doesn't load the info for all items. Maybe the app can't handle big menus?
Love it 5/5
Great way to lose weight is to keep track of everything that goes inside your mouth!! And this app makes it so easy to keep track ... wether you’re counting calories or counting macros !! It’s that easy!
I want premium 3/5
By Jr Cavs
Premium cost too much
User friendly 4/5
By P. Willi
I like this app because it's easy to use. I just wish I knew how much premium cost before starting the free trial. The only thing I really want from premium is carb. count. Not sure if it's worth upgrading just for that. I can pretty much watch it as I go, but I'd like to keep up with totals here since I'm using it.
So far I love it 4/5
Trying to lose weight. I hate dieting, I hate tracking nutrition intake, because it is such a pain. But we’re in a new age, this is sooooo much better, simpler, easier than the old notebook with looking up nutrition & calories on the computer. I love tracking everything now. You get credit for exercise, looking up food is easy to do, I always have my phone with me... This makes monitoring calories in - calories burned so effortless. It is easy to get caught up in exact #s for each nutrition but I use this as a good guesstimate on calories, carbs, protein, and fat to keep me on track. I can easily go back and edit prior day. I can see weekly totals.
I’ve been trying to eat more protein and fat and less carbs but fell off wagon for sugar over the holidays and overdoing with healthy fats have been making me fatter. “In order to control something we need to first measure it.” This app helps me with this. I’m on the 5-2 diet, so fasting 2 days, eating 3 meals, 5 days, monitoring and increasing protein. So far, so good.
Free or not free 4/5
I think this is well made and informational but every single screen asks me to upgrade. It’s supposed to be the free version. We all know you can pay more for more features. Just let things be.
Tracking is a snap 4/5
By Jmm swim
As a long time Weight Watcher user, I love the process of tracking both food/water intake, as well as exercise.
End of day? Out of calories? Go for a walk or eat a pickle!
Lacking Features 3/5
The app. Has so much potential yet it falls short in too many areas. I love the simplicity of scanning a barcode to enter data however trying to add a home cooked meal is a nightmare, the app kept crashing.
It does not integrate with the Apple Watch, Polar devises or MyZone. All products I currently own.
Lastly the app is set up in order to make you need the PAID version, I don’t mind spending a few dollars each month however no where on the App can I find how much it costs. For an Under Armour Product I expect better.
Love this app because it helps me remember with its reminders who I promised myself to be when it comes to food consumption, water intake and exercise. So easy to use, once you catch on, even for an old guy! On my way and am finally losing some lbs.
Good, however.. 3/5
The one big bug would be the fact that when adding foods into the system, I will continually attempt to add in the nutrition facts, simply for the app to erase everything... before I’ve even finished putting in the rest of the information. It’s pretty aggravating how it tries to encourage to add the information, and then basically says, “just kidding!”
Does the trick for me! 5/5
I put on approx 15 lbs which I wanted to take off. This app is super simple and allows easy visibility to poor (and positive) food choices. For example; a note when my choice is high in sodium or high in protein. I took the weight off effortlessly and have made some positive changes as a result of using this app.
Love it 5/5
Best app ever
Tracking calories from black coffee makes me want to suicide 3/5
By Susie the stupid
The interface is blue and like a boys elementary school locker room. The ads are for senior citizens and I’m not a senior but can’t get rid of them unless I go premium. I can’t connect to my scale because that partner app is missing. And then the final straw is that it tracks the protein and calories in my plain black coffee. Apparently 3 cups of black coffee have 7 cal and .1 g of fat. I don’t want to go to weight watchers again but I feel like I might need to because this is depressing. I want to give it one star but that is not really very nice because obviously a lot went into this. I really really wish it was more likable and user-friendly. Oh and the branded challenge with the cereal company is just weird and sad. Good luck y’all.
Excellent tool to lose weight 5/5
This app serves as a great tool to track your meals, exercise and lose weight.
Giving up 2/5
By Polk City
MFP is terrific in many ways, but I’m giving up on it. Even with Premium so much of the data is unreliable for food items. Grams, cups, servings are often mixed up for ingredients and there are many variations for ingredients and menus for restaurants. You just have to check it out online or on the label for yourself.
By Smeezy Smack
I am having a heck of a time seeing my steps even though it’s synced.
Wonderful app!! 5/5
Free & so much help! Very thorough with foods available to log in on including restaurant food. I can see which vitamins I am low on or too many sugars in a day. I also can keep track of my daily fat intake. This app is easy to use. Helps with portion control & wt loss/management. Excellent!!
Excellent App for tracking 4/5
This app makes tracking absolutely simple. Everything is easy to find, user friendly. A couple of things I would like to see in future releases: the ability to create and save foods using items directly from the search bar, so I don’t have to do a bunch of math and spend a lot of time to add together all the macros and nutrients that first time. Also, would like the ability to import exercises from the other UA apps.
The premium features are well worth upgrading for!
Love the app but... 4/5
I love using this app but I wish there was a way to turn the flash off and on during scanning. Sometimes the glare prevents the item from scanning.
Copying meals 3/5
This app is ok but I wish there was a way to copy your meals, when they repeat, from day to day.
Very inconsistent re: syncing with Apple Health and Apple Health activity. But that is my only complaint. Logging is very easy and I love that it has a browser platform.
Good App, needs improvements 3/5
By Franc J
Good database. Compared to other though, it needs pictures of the food and more detailing between veggies and cooking styles. Additionally every meal, should have an option for altering fat , salt and sugar.
Add exercises like p90x and insanity. Also add calorie breakdown per exercise.
Great but.... 4/5
I wear a watch that tracks my steps better then my phone but not one of the “preferred “ ones or apps. I would like to manually enter my steps.
Sooo easy to use. 5/5
I love this app so much. It helps me to track my calories. It's so easy to go over the daily limit and you don't even realize it until you track. This app makes it incredibly fast & simple.
Might have given 5 stars but for review request pop up 4/5
Stability issue on iPhone 6 after OS upgrade 4/5

I love MyFitnessPal 5/5
By The Fox lives here
No other calorie counter or food tracker has as many foods as Myfitness pal. It is also one of the easiest to use.
I am now waiting for it to be linked to to Alexa.
182 to 152 5/5
By SoCal Doc
This is a great app if you are disciplined enough to log your food daily. The database of foods items is amazing. There is nothing that you cannot find. Ended up losing 30 pounds in 6 months. Going to get the premium version just to say, Thank you.
Glitchy App 2/5
Been using MFP for the last four years and as of late my app will no longer function. I can no longer log food entries, update my progress, or use the most basic functions of the app. Not sure what has happened, but I haven’t seen any improvement. Not interested in waiting around for them to “fix” it. ✌🏼
Good app for weight loss and calorie counting 4/5
The only reason it’s 4 stars is because there are too many ads and they try to get you to upgrade to premium everywhere to the point where it is distracting and annoying.
Best FooD Tracker EVER!!!! 5/5
