Love it 5/5
Very useful and easy to use app for diet and exercise.
Updates remove features to buy back via premium 2/5
It’s a decent app, but the ethics of the designers are bad.
Love this app 5/5
This is been my favorite app for years for all my dieting needs
Not tracking my Fitbit 1/5
By Tx Girl 210
I’m having issues with this app counting my steps/workouts with m Fitbit Charge 2
Perfect calorie tracker 5/5
By Breezier kid
I recommend this to all my friends trying to get into fitness, this app is the difference between achieving your goals and falling flat on old habits.
Apple Watch Steps Alert 4/5
Not sure why but after years of using this app now every single time I log in it asks me to connect my Apple Watch. My watch has never been disconnected from this at all.
Great app! 5/5
I’ve been using this app for years. It helps me stay accountable and consistent.
Easy to use and complete. My wife wanted me to count calories & I laughed. When I tried this app I was sold!! I am up 16 lbs in 3 weeks and still going. Love it!! You should totally get it. (I need to gain weight)
My fitness pal 3/5
Great app. Does it better than I dreamed. I have a couple of problems with it. Seems to lock up too often and it doesn’t allow editing of the food lists. I have some incorrect entries and some old incorrect entries that get in my way.
Easy, convenient way to track food! 5/5
Not only convenient for calories but also macronutrients. Searchable function is also very easy.
Some of us have more than one healthy snack a day so..... 3/5
There could be an option for a second snack. That would help a lot
Weight loss made easy! 5/5
The no-brainer way to staying on track with my weight loss goals and see firsthand how my eating was not as healthy as I once had thought. Saying I'm healthy is one thing; recording what I consume, no matter how little it is, is the sure fire way to avoid cheating as I make healthy lifestyle changes for me and my family.
A bit janky and expensive 3/5
I’m using it because Garmin Connect will only interface with MFP. The weight syncing seemed to act weird too. It’s a decent app, but not worth the upgrade price.
App shuts down unexpectedly 3/5
By fit in 2018
Since subscribing to the premium the app shuts down unexpectedly and Apple Watch set up continues to pop up even though set up is complete. Tried everything 😡
Definitely recommend 5/5
This app has changed my life! It's the easiest way for me to keep track of my calories because I hate counting calories. I also keep track of my macros (which I've. Ever done before) I've been using it for a week and have lost about 3lbs. It's been very easy to incorporate into my routine and helps me stay on target overall. I love the supportive message when I complete my daily diary, I.e. "If everyday was like today, you'd weigh xyz in 5 weeks". This message at the end of each day has been encouraging and motivating to me. Keeping a log of my daily food habits has also helped me overcome obstacles towards healthy eating because it allows me to identify and find insight to my eating habits
Glitchy Mess 3/5
New update is broken. Constantly being asked to turn on health kit sync even though it’s turned on. Negative step adjustments are HUGE randomly. Pretty annoying
it is not very easy to use 1/5
I hate to say it but i have a Ph.D. in
computer science and found this application not user unfriendly-hard to find info to guide me to edit my profile, adjust calories burnt for exercises, etc. the user interface design can use some improvement. I am actually thinking about going back to my excel spreadsheet tracking.
Annoying reminder every time I open the app 1/5
I’ve just upgraded my phone to an iPhone X, and I own an Apple Watch that was previously synced with MFP. Ever since getting my new phone, every time I open the app I get a roadblock asking me to update health permissions to read
Apple Watch steps, where I can take action (view an explanation of how to allow access in Health for MFP) or don’t read steps. There is nothing for me to do as I’ve already granted this app all health permissions AND its reading my Apple Watch steps. I’ve deleted and reinstalled app with no fix to this. It’s super annoying! Also, if I’m listening to music when I open the app (pandora or Apple Music), the music stops so ad music can play (which is actually muted l) so nothing plays... my music is just stopped. Another new annoying quirk that needs to be resolved.
Perfect tool to help make better choices in my daily diet.
Wish it had step counter watch widget and challenges 4/5
App is fantastic just wish it had step counter and friendly challenges
Love it! 5/5
Best app for tracking your meals and better understanding your fitness.
Skin and bones 5/5
I’m so skinny now!
Fix the bugs 1/5
App keeps asking for Apple Watch permissions... I have given it access to everything.
Bar Code Reader 5/5
My doctor told me about this app. Just read the bar code and the app does the rest. Do make sure you get the portion right as the bar code reader records it per serving. I tend to eat more than one serving but the app lets you adjust that by 1/8’s. Really great. It records your carbs vs. fat vs salt vs sugars. Lost six pounds my first week.
If you are true to yourself and record all that you eat, you know exactly where you can change things to lose weight.
Trouble interfacing with others 3/5
App works well but has trouble auto interfacing with Garmin Connect and my Apple Watch activity app. Has helped me lose 30# in 3 years. Thanks MFP- stick with it everyone!
App keeps telling me to update permissions. 1/5
App keeps telling me to update permission to read steps when it already has permission to read my steps from the health app. Please fix this it is getting annoying having to dismiss it every time I open the app.
Slow Performance 2/5
I want to like this app but it is so slow when launching. It seems like it has to log in each time it launched which is slow. I am using this on the older iPhone 6+ but don’t think that’s it as other apps work fine. I tried contacting support but no response. Frustrating and looking for an alternative.
New features are garbage 2/5
Nothing is more annoying than My Fitness Pal adding a new feature that is completely irrelevant to my context AND THEN HAVING IT AGGRESSIVELY PROMOTED THROUGHOUT THE APP. I already hate the nonesense that is the news feed, and some product owner thought it would be brilliant to force the same pseudo health dibble on us through “Meal Collections”. I would be totally fine if it was good info, but most of the content is just click bait. AND ITS SO ANNOYING BECAUSE ITS VERY PROMINENT and obscured the things I actually want to do with the app.
Made Adding Weight Harder 1/5
By Benjamin in Orlando
The new version of MFP took away the really easy to use scroll to add weight functionality. In its place is an add for their scale.
Deserves a zero. I train doing multiple disciplines each day. It pulls the activity from my Apple Watch from my first workout fine. Anything after that I have to manually enter. Not worth my time.
Great App! 5/5
Very solid app! I’ve used it for the past 8 months as one of the tools that has helped me lose 60 plus pounds on a ketogenic diet. I love the versatility to help with counting macros and tracking my goals.
Rigtig godt men dyrt 3/5
Jeg bruger flittigt MFP. Jeg Bille meget gerne have fjernet reklamer men jeg ønsker ikke alle de medfølgende features. Så der burde være en billigere reklamefri version.
Ok But Far From Great, Anymore 2/5
This was a perfect app for what I needed in my weight loss journey.
But as of late the ads have gotten WAY out of hand. I have to scroll 3-4 pages down before I even get to my daily friends activity. It’s become MUCH too cluttered that I really don’t even bother using it anymore. Quite a disappointment.
Lost data. 1/5
Had been continuously logged in and using the app daily for 7 months. I started the app yesterday and had to login: to my surprise all my logs, data, everything was gone. Very frustrating since I had Ben going thru a protocol to reverse Diabetes.
Besides the data loss there at w a couple of features that need attention.
1- when creating a food, sometimes get an error on entering the serving size. To get around the error have to set the serving size to 2 the double the protein, carb and fat counts the select a half portion when selecting a daily entry.
2- when creating a food or meal it wound be very helpful to select multiple foods or be able to scan barcodes to creat a meal rather than having to calculate the data points for the meal.
Updates ruining syncing with Watch 3/5
Over the years there have been glitches in this app, which have ultimately been resolved. And when I bought an Apple Watch a year ago I was pleased at the efficient synchronizing function of my workouts and walks between the Watch and MFP. Unfortunately, that functionality has been blown away with every successive "update" for the past 6 months! And it seems to get worse with every update. No matter how much I delete, reinstall, etc., MFP no longer synchronizes properly with my Watch, and I'm just plain fed up, especially since I became a paying member a couple of months ago. And the MFP people know about this problem! But it's not been fixed. Distressing and disappointing. To make matters worse, since the last update, every time I open the app to enter data I get prompted to set up syncing with the Apple health app, and the notification never goes a way, no matter how many times I reset the Health app settings!
Works well for me ! 5/5
So nice to find foods from restaurants I usually visit bec I forget to write down calories. Also tons of ethnic food I can look up as well which is awesome. Simple math and it is working for me.
Too Many Ads and Videos 3/5
Too many ads and intrusive auto play videos. It is also very slow to load.
I’ve found the only way for me to lose weight and stay on a healthy diet log what I earn and this app is fantastic for that purpose, plus it links with other app. Thanks FitnessPal
Great App 4/5
This is an excellent App. Very easy to use and impressive that their data base recognizes about 98% of the foods I scan into my daily diary. The only improvement I'd recommend is a way to organize foods I've already entered, to make them easier to find and select, rather than having to scroll thru the list of all foods I've entered to date.
Customer service? 3/5
Is there a way to directly ask questions about the app? I didn’t see an option to contact the developers anywhere. I’m mostly just confused whether Im using the application wrong or if this is a glitch of some sort. I have my goal set to “gain” weight. For some reason it always displays for me that I have gained 9 pounds in one day. Not possible. And also I have lost weight not gained weight and even though I update my weight in there it is still displaying numbers that don’t pertain to me or make any sense. It also notifies me when I lose and displays it with a green arrow as if it was my goal to lose weight... even though I clearly see my progress and what weight I have typed in, it still displays everything incorrectly. I only use this app to do a calorie count and make sure I’m eating over my recommended amount. The rest of the features are just frustrating to use. Any person can figure out that starting at 89, then going to 93, then to 90 would not mean that you have gained 9 pounds.
Good app, but it needs to have different way to track workout
I love this app 5/5
Easy to move around!!! Get this app and change how to track calories!!
A Complete Gem......and it really works! 5/5
When I quit smoking almost 33 years ago my weight went from 164 pounds to 200 pounds in nine months. Since that time my weight has steadily increased until last March when it finally reached 220 pounds. I have never had the discipline to go on any kind of formal diet. Last March, my son-in-law told me about the “MyFitnessPal” app. I decided to give it a try. Since March, I have kept track of everything that has entered my mouth. It really has not been that difficult, I just had to be consistent. Today my weight stands at 177 pounds, representing a loss of 43 pounds. I can honestly say that this app has been 90% of the reason that I’ve been able to lose weight. It is amazing how, just by following the calorie count, one can show such progress. Thank you, Under Armour!!!
Unavoidable, autoplay videos are obnoxious 1/5
I’ve used the app religiously for the last 8 years, but I’m fed up with the videos on the Home screen. I pay for premium, and this is unacceptable. Leaving soon if they don’t go away.
I love this app and give it 5 stars but... 5/5
By Harsh Pandey
Here’s the thing. Since the new Apple Watch OS out this fall MyFitnessPal pal doesn’t recognize a lot of my Apple Watch activities. Including and especially the ‘high intensity workout’ option. Whenever I do a high intensity workout I notice there’s no calories balance in the exercise option of my daily goal. Please fix this in the next update and possibly so that all previous daily goals are backfilled as well. Thanks!
It would be higher if.... 1/5
The app won’t let me make an account so I’m giving it 1 star, I would give it higher but from my experience it doesn’t work!!
Too buggy 1/5
By Murse Dad
The app is too buggy for the exposure it has. Every time I log in it prompts me to enable privacy settings for my Apple Watch. They are enabled already.
The widget is useless because it cuts off the information.
0 stars 1/5
For the past few days I have been unable to register for this app. I put in my birthday and all the necessary information, but then it denies it. This kept happening to me so then I changed the year I was born and then it worked! How is this app supposed to collect correct accurate data for us when we can’t even put in the year we’re born in??!
HR Suckd 5/5
Fit bit he worst example of design, quality durability I have ever experienced. Probably switch her to iPhone.
