So far, so good. 4/5
Can’t figure out how to delete a duplicate med I entered.
Also, there should be a way to connect this with other apps like the Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, Pacer, sleep cycle, and especially FMHmobile and Mychart.
Would be great for everything to be shared between health apps automatically. Filling in trackers manually these days is behind the curve. Also, you should be able to open the app with a PIN and/or the fingerprint sensor.
Besides that, looking good so far.
I’ll adjust my rating as improvements are made (hopefully!)
No prices 1/5
I’ve tried to use Care Zone as a replacement for my local pharmacy (for prescriptions) and Costco (for vitamins) but found that I have to call for prices and you are NOT competitive.
We LOVE CareZone and I am always recommending it to anyone that needs a super easy way to keep track of their medications. I have mine, my wife’s, and now I have even put in the medications for my cat (it’s that easy to use).

Use camera to scan med labels/bottles so you don’t have to add all the info yourself.
Share info with loved ones or caregiver.
Journal, ER contacts, pain meters etc. there is just so much great use from this app I would give it 5 stars but... see cons
Cons: Ads!!! Every time you use it an ad comes up about buying or saving on some medical stuff. Also ads pop up if you use the notifications options. Which is probably the reason you get this app.

Wonderful program, just don’t EVER forget your password, otherwise you are in for a lot of trouble! Have to wait for days to get a new password.
I like 5/5
This app makes it real easy to keep track of my meds & to show the nurse.
Users! explore general settings 2/5
You'll find ways to uuniversally turn off bothersome things like notifications, automatic updates and in app ratings. Those are big things I see making people feel frustrated with apps across the board.
Overall, it's pretty useful but it needs improvement and options for using it differently.
Prior to February, 2018 I said this:
[Hey all. Turn off notifications for this in your settings unless you want them. I can't tell you exactly where they are, based on your version of operating system but you can probably search within settings or ask Siri. 'k?
Help it run smoothly:
Get rid of the ad for prepackaged meds I see every single time I enter a medication.
Let me see a date on my main inventory page so I know which one is most recent, oldest, etc. I want to keep a record of the 1st prescription, changes and most recent. The rest I delete but don't want to run through them all to figure out what to delete if I haven't kept up. (Edit- my fix= to inactivate the historical meds and add the date of the recent fill or new med on the top line. It works. I decided it's important to have my running history even though it appears the same for a couple years for some things. I have the storage so why not?)]
Increase flexibility to use it differently:
I use it as inventory, history and dosage. That's it. No reminders for refills or taking my meds. I have my notifications turned off; I'd like to also turn off all reminders within the app since it clutters the app.
Easier access to prescription dates increases the inventory function.
Edit- 11/17/17 Why can't the scanner interpret the prescription number and date, prescribing physician, pharmacy ... even the manufacturer and imprint if I wanted it to? Why do I have to add those when they're as plain as the nose on my face and the medication name it does manage to read? It could be insanely quick instead of mind numbingly slow and laborious for no good reason.
I'll keep you at 2 stars for a month or until I get a response but am willing to drop to a single evil star even though that looks so nasty. Spare yourself!
I sent the following to customer service since I haven't heard anything: I don't understand why the app is unable to transfer more information from a prescription to the inventory. It reads the name, date, ummm… oh yeah- instructions, so why do I have to enter the prescriber, pharmacy name, manufacturer, prescription number, refills, markings, etc? It takes too long when it should take mere seconds to verify the information. I would prefer to not have to turn off reminders for each medication as well. I spend too long with this app every month instead of just snapping 4 photos (although 3 will usually do it), filling in at least five fields, turning off reminders, inactivating last month…
Streamline it folks. Someone is developing a better app and I'm going to defect unless you get your act together, ok?
After November, 2017 when I left the review stating the app should read all information provided on the prescription label I emailed customer service to make the same point. Kudos to them for replying… opposite of kudos for misunderstanding, disregarding or ignoring my question because their answer was "the app doesn't read all the information on the label because the app doesn't read all the information on the label". I knew that. 🙄
It occurred to me if I were able to have a photo of the label some of my information would be available: date script was written, refills, manufacturer, etc but I know you all can do better.
Great way to keep track of health 5/5
I keep a daily record of my weight and blood glucose For my doctor it also stores all my meds for when I go to a new doctor. It can also order meds but I don’t use that feature this app is a great health resource
Best App ever! 5/5
I'm one of those lucky ones who has to take 21 different medications daily. Thanks to Care Zone I can actually keep track of all my meds and keep my many physicians up to date on all of the with 1 or 2 key strokes! Thanks again!
Everything I need, but one thing I don't think 4/5
Carezone is exactly what I need to keep track of my meds and remind me to take them.
The alerts, especially on my Apple watch, are extremely helpful.
I use it when doctor's offices want me to fill out a page with all the meds I take. Rather than sit writing for 20 minutes, trying to remember the mg's, I simply open Carezone and then email the list.
All the doctors and nurses who see it are very impressed. I think they wish all patients could send such detailed information in such neat printing!
The only thing I don't like has been mentioned by others. I don't want to switch to their Rx services, and the other things they sell.
Those alerts get in the way of using the app. And are really n the way when I'm trying to get my info in a hurry.
I would easily spend $9.99 a year to get the app without their ads. And even more if I could tie it to my CVS or Wallgreens apps.
I did have a problem when some really weird dosing reminders caused my data to get corrupted. I emailed customer support which fixed the problem very promptly on their back-end server.
One more suggestion would be to have a large type setting. Considering how. Any old people need meds, small text is hard to read.
Do Not Need You Or Your Company 3/5
I have all my prescriptions filled through Optum RX. I have had all my medications filled with them for ten years and I am totally satisfied. Please remove me from your files and please end all contact with me.Thank You, Lawrence Kilbane
Making Something Stressful a Joy 5/5
By Allison at DailyOutfit
CareZone turned the difficult task of keeping all my family members apprised of the ongoing health care issues for my Father a joy.
I was able to record things in the moment (photos, anecdotes, visits) and share them with my family while also recording questions, caregiver questions and comments with everyone.
As my Father’s health deteriorated, we also added his Nurse Care Manager to the app so we could get her immediate feedback on his care. This was immensely valuable.
Finally, CareZone provided us with a holistic view of my Dad’s care so we could all see — and track — how he was doing.
In a big family like ours, this was invaluable.
As he has now passed, it helped my mourning process to be able to look back at the recent past and see how he changed over the past few months and come to closure.
Thank you, CareZone for making something that was so stressful a joy! I really appreciate it and recommend it to everyone!!

I have been looking for this exact thing. If I knew how I would have created it myself. Thank you creators! So far I have used it only two days along with my team of caregivers. I have a live in Alzheimer’s client. Her loved ones can view the journal and see she is in good hands. I also love the mood tracker. Tracking combative behavior is essential in this field. Along with happy of course!
We are able to support each other with the comment section in the journal entries.
I can’t seem to shut off the email notifications. Only down side but no big deal compared to all the good.

Very very good program for tracking medication taken on a daily basis especially if you have to take multiple medications I take 12 a day so it is very very convenient did not like the props for doing millions for refills

Great site. Notifications are useful
Great app 5/5
What a great app. I can show my different dr. What I take and why and how. Thanks for being there
I am not fond of the fact that every time I open the app, it automatically opens to the page trying to get me to use the pharmacy. I have a pharmacy I use already.
Get rid of the advertising 4/5
I really like this app but paying should remove the advertisements. It’s super annoying to see constant ads. Would love to see a real Dashboard too that was designed for the app user not for the app builder
Best App Ever 5/5
In the Journal you can keep track of all doctor visits noting exactly what procedure was performed. Just wonderful. Under medications you can list all Meds and when I show this to my doctors and their assistance they are amazed. Love this app.

Excellent customer service. Wonderful follow up. Very satisfied!! These people are lifesavers and eliminate all headaches when dealing with mail order prescriptions.
Just don’t use them as a pharmacy 1/5
App works great for keeping track of meds, but CareZone itself is AWFUL.
I recently moved and had an insurance change. I hadn’t put my new insurance into the app yet when my refill came up.
At the time of refill, things were a little crazy for me. You just get a message saying something about 24hrs before they ship. Again, I’m having craziness I’m having to deal with, and I figure it can wait because they don’t have current insurance for me.
Oh, no. CareZone goes out and gets your new insurance card somehow. Maybe this is normal because Internet, but I have never had a pharmacy do this. Not CVS, not Walgreens, etc. CareZone does the refill on my new insurance and the copay DOUBLES. $100! Because it’s a name brand drug.
So, CareZone lets me know the copay is going to double and gives me the option to get a generic or just not refill until I can figure this all out, right? Wrong. They ship it anyway. Because it’s their “process”.
And I promise you all they care about is their process. Not retaining you as a customer or making you happy. They care about their process, which is set up to ship those meds out come hell or high water to make sure you’re stuck with them. No returns. It’s the law. Not their fault! Supposedly, they have a threshold for copay increases, but $50 or 100% doesn’t make the threshold for saying an increase is significant. If YOUR copay doubled and increased by $50, would you find that significant???
Their process takes much of the control out of your hands as a customer/patient. If your insurance changes, buckle up for the ride, because you’re going to be charged and those meds WILL be shipped to you. The 24hr thing is a JOKE.
I don’t think they will ship at all because old insurance will reject the claim, and they ship them anyway! And then I get the new copay amount AFTER they ship.
That’s right. Not only do they ship when I don’t expect them to, but they tell me about the price increases AFTER, when the meds are already on the way and I’m stuck paying for them.
AGAIN, they make sure you are stuck paying.
The worst part is the lack of customer service. All they were willing to do to make this right is offer a payment plan for the $100 and close my account and transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. They care not a whit about you or keeping you as a customer.
BEWARE. There are far superior pharmacies out there.
And if you want to track your meds, try Good Rx instead.
Best Decision I’ve Made RE: Medications 5/5
I was skeptical at first, but my decision to order all of my medications from care zone has been a blessing.
I have a busy and hectic lifestyle and pulling up to order refills and make time to fill them, has been a real problem.
Now I have this wonderful app that lists all of my meds and supplements and reminds me when to take what. I also don’t have to remember when to buy more, the Pharmacy auto fills and sends them directly to my door.
I really appreciate the friendly staff who are personable and helpful.
And for those who are cost conscious like me, the prices are great as well!
Like the app so far. With Trackers, there is no place to chart what type of pain you are having so when you go back to look at it several days later, you don’t know where the pain was. All the trackers entities need a comment section.
Customer service 5/5
Could not be better. 100% satisfied!
Great App 5/5
Love this app. It is so easy to use. Use it to keep my meds list up to date. Anytime I need to list my meds at doctor offices or hospital for procedures it is just a click away.
Getting way too aggressive with their pill pushing. Said no already. Why should I have to keep saying no.
Do not get this! It builds itself as an organizer but it is really a scheme to send you medications. It constantly sends emails. I get enough annoying emails already, thank you. Then they don’t respond to your requests to stop the emails.
Awesome App 5/5
This is by far the BEST app for your medication, I love that you don’t have to type everything in and you can keep a record for the whole family.
Love it 5/5
I have this app.
Love it! 5/5
I love this app. For starters it's on my phone. I don't have to rifle through my purse looking for a piece of paper. I take several medications daily. This app tracks all the medications that I am on. Snap a pic and it's added. Delete a medication quick and simple. Time for a reorder the prescription number is there. As a caregiver for my sister it allows me to track her meds as well and have the information available at various doctor appointments. The app is simple. I've use this app for the last seven or eight years. Love it!
It helps me keep up with my meditation.
And have a list of all my meds.
Tired of the constant calling 1/5
I wanted to use this service so I could get my prescriptions in daily use/dose pouches. My intent was I could keep better track of my use/ missed days. Turns out, they can't handle 2 of my meds, and they can't return the meds they shipped to me, that were in error. Also the multiple phone calls per day coming from Radom numbers, not pleased about that at all.
Reliable data 5/5
By lynn starcher
It’s so easy to keep a running record that my cardiologist can look at whenever I have an appointment coming up. It’s also realistic because it’s documented on a daily basis and doesn’t rely on my memory.
Cool application! 5/5
I can understand the previous readers usually frustrations. It would be nice if you developers figured out how much advertisers contribute to one user and mark the price up accordingly up accordingly and sell the application without the sales pitches. You can offer your application as a yearly subscription. This is a weird case where we have a good application and user needs to put up with the advertisements. When a user needs medication and Dr. Information, the user usually needs it immediately. You guys need to make money because that is what you are in business for. If you’re providing a service without every Tysons or income it is not out of line to ask for her yearly subscription so you can make money and improve the product. So, offering a years subscription is really a good deal for people who just want the info and Are willing to pay for it. Based on your user base of paid users you could adjust the yearly application price based on your user base.. When you talk health, people Usually needed as the result of a question that I healthcare professional asked. I think uses are willing to pay for the subscription do you have the information immediately available to them. Your application is that Minecraft but a tool for user to yet and give accurate information to a provider and to be reminded to take medication accordingly. Point of fact, I am in the hospital now and when they asked me for my medication list I was embarrassed because I left some stuff out. Like my sleeping medicine. Graphing is a good tool. Our use the application HR G.I. to record my weight blood pressure pulse etc. The information is stored in the cloud and on my iPhone so I can get easy access when the doctor says how’s your blood pressure what’s your blood pressure been? Then instead of stuttering and stammering I can just open the app show him the graph overtime and it’s a done deal. Consider it. Thank you
It blew me away! 5/5
As a family of four, plus managing the care needs of two sets of parents (mine & the in-laws), it had been a challenge to find an app that really helps us to track all of our medical information in one place. But, this app does just that and more. I was blown away by the simplicity and practicality of the app. I highly recommend this for anyone who is a caregiver or just trying to manage all of their medical information. My only recommendation would be to for them to allow you the ability to print the medication list from a desktop and not just via your mobile device.
Most helpful app 5/5
Love this app and use it all the find to keep my medication list up to date for my Doctors.
This app is very useful especially when you are in the emergency room with a loved one
Great app! 4/5
There is no second guessing if you took the Med that was time for. I love it.
Terrible app 1/5
This app used is suppose to give me reminders when to take my medicine. Lately it fails to notify me. Have complained about this problem before and did everything there support team suggested. Have tested other apps and all of them work better than this one. I would not recommend this app as it is too unstable

I gave this 4 stars but have never used it, I don't want to mess up the rating. I downloaded it thinking it would work great for me, but it appears to require a log in to use. So that was it for me and I got a different one to try.
I would suggest the log in to be an optional item for those wanting it. I just want simple reminders that work with my Apple watch. I don't want another password and sign in to remember and deal with.
I like keeping a record of my various health statistics. This definitely keeps me on track of maintaining a good health picture. This is been very beneficial for me.
Blood pressure tracking 5/5
This ap is great. I can share the tracking with my health care professionals.
CareZone provides the ability to organize medication requirements. From tracking doses to knowing when to reorder, it is helpful without being overly cumbersome. I’ve been a user from the very beginning and plan to continue. App updates are frequent and the matching internet functionality is superb. Highly recommended. BTW, 5 stars when performance maintenance is upgraded more frequently.
