I really liked the former version of the app’s nutrition facts. Now I can’t get an accurate calorie/sugar/etc count for my drinks because I can’t customize the flavors, milk, whip, etc. That was the reason I used this app at least 50% of the time. Please bring that feature back! (Also, the new points based perks is disappointing. Clearly fewer perks are coming my way... won’t get me in the door any faster.)
Forced to update twice in one week 1/5
Earlier this week I finally "earned" a free drink, but when I went to the shop to redeem it, the app wouldn't load and insisted that I upgrade (or exit). So I upgraded and had to log in again. This morning I went to check in and got the same behavior; I was given the option to upgrade or exit. Here's a suggestion: warn me that my app needs upgrading while I'm in the shop, but let me continue to use it. I will upgrade it when I get back to decent wifi.
The known bug and no purchase history available 2/5
This morning I tried to use the app to pay for my chai, but a message told me I had to download the new app. The App Store said I already had the new app, so I had to pay with real money. The other thing is the old app would list for me all the purchases I had made in the past 30 days. I cannot find that feature in the new version, and I miss it.

The response time from Caribou is great. And they have resolved the issue so I am a happy ‘Bou camper again!!!! Love the coffee, and the company!

I only have this app so I can send e-gifts to my kids, but this feature doesn’t work. Highly annoying.

Keep getting an error message when trying to send e-gift card. The error appears immediately when selecting the link. I like the other new features but there is a glitch with the gift cards.

I downloaded the new app to access the new perks program. It looked good and I appreciated the free 25 points upfront. But when I got to Caribou Coffee the app was already down. Apparently it released before all the coffee shops systems were running with the new program.
UPDATE: The app developer has responded and they are working to resolve the apps issues. In the meantime I can still check into a store using my phone number and earn the perks points. When the app begins working again I should be able to pay with the store balance on my Caribou card through the app.

So you built a culture of “perks” now you upgrade allowing us to pick our rewards, awesome. Then you go and only offer a handful of options and the only one related to a latte is a free upgrade, whoop-dee-do a 50 cent savings. I would rather get a free 1 or a buy 1 get 1 at random once a month or every other month than a weekly 50 cent coupon. Your new program is turning me away rather than towards you.
Odd App Glitch 5/5
Been a long time lover of Caribou: great atmosphere, great drinks, great people! I’ve enjoyed the app so far, too, with the new points tracking system. However, I have noticed a strange glitch: when I click on different pages of the app my brightness changes. I typically keep my phone brightness very low and when I click to ‘view ways to redeem my points’ my brightness skyrockets to 100%. And again when I click to go back to the main menu it decreases to wherever it started.

The app won’t allow me to sign in or even change my password. Just keeps telling me something is wrong. I have no doubt I am using the correct email address. The app might be fine but since I can’t get past the log in page, there is no use for it at all.

As much as I want to love this point update, I can’t. I won’t let me log in. Won’t accept my email, won’t accept my password, won’t even let me change my password. Says “invalid email”!!! Funny, I get emails all the time! Or it just times out!
Updated the app due to the new perks program. Now the app doesn’t work and keeps saying “Oops!”. Disappointed.

The latest version is auto-maxing the screen brightness and I’m not finding it lower the brightness back down after switching to a different app, or closing it. This is a big problem for battery life and it needs to be addressed ASAP.
New Perks Program is Costly! 5/5
I did the math for the rollout of the new perks ‘point’-based program and essentially, one is required to purchase twelve full price drinks before qualifying for one free drink. No more drink size upgrades, buy one get one, etc. options. Sounds like a win for Caribou corporate! A free drink will cost you $120! Good bye Caribou App.

For some reason I haven’t been able to sign into the app since it updated. Everything I try I get the message Oh no! Something went wrong.
New update is terrible 1/5
The new update is terrible. It first signed me out and made me resign in, but I don’t know the password as I was always logged in before. I tried to reset the password and it has yet to send me and email, and when I tried to go in and do it again, it keeps telling me that something is wrong. It’s also taking forever to load. If I can’t get signed back in I have money from a gift card that was attached to the app that I am out. Should not have made me sign back in!

This new update is phenomenal, but the lack of being able to customize the drink and see its nutritional information with specific drink adjustment is detrimental and the one positive aspect the old app had that this one does not.. If you could add that back that would be absolutely fantastic!

I have no complaints about the app but I really think there should be some caribou coffee is in New England. Especially in Boston. Can we work on that?? I found out about this wonderful coffee in Minneapolis and since then, I have been ordering coffee to be delivered to Boston. You guys can totally replace Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts with Caribou Coffee easily.

I love caribou. I go there almost every day. But I wish the app had like a remember my order button so the baristas could pull that up with your perks, since I order the same thing most of the time. I also LOVE the perks points system and hope you roll that out for all perk members! Thanks caribou!
