    I signed up for the free trial (to watch Star Trek - bravo to CBS for a well made and entertaining show) and I’m now being charged for the app, however there are too many issues for me to currently consider keeping my subscription; The landing page needs improvement as it’s hard to select the last show/episode you watched, or to pick up where you last left off on a show. I’ve had some video glitches but overall nothing too bothersome as the picture and sound is usually good. I don’t like that the player has no forward or rewind buttons (e.g. 10 seconds) as trying to do it manually is difficult and annoying. The biggest issue though is that the paid app has ads, and a ridiculous amount of them at that. If you get an app for free, you live with the ads, but to show so many ads in a paid version makes no sense.

    Paying for a service I cannot use, probably because my iPad is 4 years old. All I know is that it keeps asking me to sign in. Then kicks me back to homescreen. I've tried reinstalling the app, resetting the password, and even cancelling the service then restarting it.... Nothing. VERY UNHAPPY BECAUSE I WANT TO EATCH STAR TREK DISCOVERY!!!!

    Crashes once on every show as it goes into commercials. Then have to watch five minutes of commercials again while finding my way back to where I left off.

    I would always choose clarity (intuitive organization) over an attractive presentation, but I think both should be achievable. Since I use the app primarily to watch Star Trek Discovery, my concerns relate to the difficulty of switching between episodes. Easy enough for now with only one season, but Could get confusing. ‘Resume’ or ‘Start over’ feature lacks information or could be seen as unnecessary. Horizontal structure is not right without a consolidated ‘table’ or ‘contents’ of choices. HBO and Netflix get it right, mostly. There are some other network apps that don’t achieve as much as the CBS app. I presume cost is a factor, so I look forward to improvements.

    So I subscribed, on top of my cable bill. And now your app won’t let me restore my iTunes purchase so I can watch on my Apple TVs or my iPhone. It signs in under my wife’s info, which is not involved in any way with how we buy apps and services on iTunes, and does not allow me to sign in with my Apple ID that is the subscribing account. Glad I paid extra money to not be able to use the app, you money grabbing douchecanoes.

    I refuse to watch any new show from CBS until it’s been on for at least a year. I am sick and tired of starting a new show and have it canceled a few episodes in and with no conclusion to the storyline. Hey, if a show just isn’t going to make it at least bring the story a conclusion. When I saw a new Star Trek series I was really excited but when I found out the only way I could watch it was to pay for it I said typical of CBS so no thank you

    I just moved from the UK back to the US, which meant that I swapped from watching Star Trek Discovery on Netflix to the CBS app. I didn’t say the app was a garbage scow... it should be hauled away, *as garbage*! It constantly crashes, resets episode progress, and then gives me the privilege of rewatching commercials breaks I’ve already sat through! As much as I love the new Star Trek series... I won’t continue paying CBS for this terrible watching experience.

    I signed up to watch the football game on thanksgiving..shared my location and suddenly I can’t watch it..”not available at this time”..why the f*** are you going to advertise that you can stream a game then not allow users to watch..THEN I try and cancel cuz of the false advertisement and I can’t even figure out how to cancel it!..it says it’s in iTunes settings...how can I get to that? It should be in your f***ing app!! You can upgrade and take my money in the app but I cant cancel in your app..BS..

    We have cut the ‘cable’ cord and have subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, HBO, STARS, Cinemax, and CBS All Access. The app for the CBS works great, not only on my iOS devices, but on our roku & Fire TV devices. But the subscription while granting lots of past and current seasons does limit access to past seasons popular shows-like Big Bang Theory. This makes it hard to catch up if you aren’t caught up. I think the all access should grant all seasons for CBS shows.

    It's the fact that I can't even get the app up on my phone to be bothered by them. I tried deleting it and downloading again- which kind of worked. Took me 3 app resets to just get the app up in general, agreed to new policy rules, chose my show (Survivor) and agreed to even more policy rules... for nothing to happen. It won't start the video feed. I close the app again, try to go back in and I'm stuck at the very first load screen with CBS's logo- not going anywhere. This was my first 24 hour impression of your app on my free trial. Not exactly easy to sway back to good terms at this point which is extremely sad because I was going to hit up Big Brother and Star Trek next. Please resolve this issue asap or I will be unsubscribing and leaving this review as 1 star- ultimately staying with big daddy Hulu and momma Netflix.

    I grew up in the 1960's with the original Enterprise. Hey CBS, you are detached from the people's lifes and culture. You will not lure this old trekkie into a subscription for a product you can easily offer For Purchase.

    CBS - If I could only have access to one station, it would be CBS. Considering that I have access to over 250 channels that actually says something. I would even be giving up watching my favorite football team. That means CBS is awesome.

    This is actually a great app. The ones complaining are the ones who can't read- Go on to their website and read how to cancel via iTunes. Anyways, this app is user friendly and a great substitute to live tv. Only reason for not 5 stars: Repetitive commercials.

    As of 11/21/17 the app freezes up after one use. Attempts to open only result in CBS logo and hangs there. Reloading (after delete) only allows one more opening before freezing. CBS support is intermittent online and non-existent by phone. Using iOS 11.2.2 When app was working, I used it to watch all 9 episodes of Star Trek Discovery (before season ended). Not worth the money.

    11/21/17. App won't load at all now. Full episodes of very few shows. Otherwise only clips. Waste of space. As I can't watch episodes on the go I will no longer bother with CBS shows. I'd give app zero stars if it were possible.

    This app is just horrible. It's been like that for a long while now! CBS should be ashamed to put this crap out. With all the money they have this is the app you give us!!! It crashes and freezes all the time. I've had the app almost 2 years now and it has gotten worst! Unbelievably bad!!!!

    I really love the app, I really love some of the shows you have as to I really did wish that you had way more shows. I do however have some issues with the app sometimes it does not want to load I get out of it but even when I go back into it, it still doesn't want to load . There are some freezes sometimes which can severely be annoying, I haven't really had a severe bad experience but it would be extremely awesome if you fixed those things that I said. I would also be really happy if you added more shows.

    I this app is horrible. They say "We're working hard on adding more providers". They're lying, they haven't added a provider since they started the app. I have Directv. The other apps (TNT, sci channel, USA, SYFY, and SPIKE) all allow Directv.

    I downloaded this for the access to big brother for one single episode that I missed airing on tv. The app made me pay for the access and will not allow me to cancel the subscription!!! It’s been charging me every month for like $6.53! Please get me canceled!!!!

    It freezes up from time to time at least once every episode in a live stream. So I have to exit out completely, restart, and it works again fine. A bit frustrating but perhaps something that can be fixed in the future. Enjoy getting to watch it live stream on demand or later without having the commercials and saves time. Overall, we enjoy it and use it often! Thanks. S from Minnesota

    Nice and easy to use. Always handy to be able to catch-up on some of my favorite shows. However, the app does not work when I try to cast to my Vizio TV (other apps like YouTube work well). Issue is with the app.

    This is not the most reliable of streaming apps. I have not been able to cast properly to my TV going on 3 Days. When I attempt to watch a show it acts as if it is trying to load, but then drops it completely. I do not have this issue with my 3 other streaming services or YouTube. If it keeps up I will be dropping my subscription.

    Despite the abysmal reviews, I installed the app to watch live tv while less than 100 miles away from home. I was required to allow location services and sign in via my cable company, but as soon as I picked it I was bounced to "Your TV provider is not supported in this area" and given an option to subscribe. Okay. There's plenty of other options. Goodbye CBS app.
