Keep getting kicked out of the Apple TV app. Customer service was no help. Cancelled the service because of it. Worst TV, stay away.

Terrible app, crashes constantly. Not to mention, charging for subscribers who already pay you through other services (cable, satellite, etc)?? Plenty of other good shows on NBC, ABC, Fox and others who allow you to watch for FREE. Delete

Why 15 ads in a row all of a sudden, right when CBS is pushing their new streaming? Oh, i know, so we will be forced to pay to watch CBS. It was nice with a reasonable amount of ads, while it lasted.

I have many other channel streaming services on my iPad and all of them are FREE in including Showtime Anytime and HBO Go as long as I have a paid subscription to a cable or, in my case, satellite service. Charging customers a monthly fee for the privilege of watching your precious programming and irritating commercials is OUTRAGEOUS! There is no way in HELL I'm paying for this. Screw you CBS and your crummy service.
why is it that I can only use this app on apple tv and not on my ipad? when I want to watch an episode on the ipad it throwing me out. Please fix this BUG! Please help me out with fixing of this app. It's not throwing me out no more but it will go back to main menu! Getting there. please help

Not sure what everyone else is talking about, the app works perfect for me and I haven't had any issues. I have limited commercial and the commercials really aren't that bad (though they do repeat the same commercials). I'd still recommend this app.

CBS really needs to take a step back. Their extreme greed is going to ruin them. Beyond that, I can't review this version of the app (20 March 2017). It won't install on my iPhone 6 running iOS 10.2.1, "because an unknown error occurred (0xE800000E)." All other VOD/Apple TV apps are fine. I hope this one doesn't hang up on my Apple TV and CBS can bring their keyboard slapping monkeys back in to fix this before they think they'll be selling me any All Access time to watch Star Trek, as unlikely as that becomes with every passing week.

App lacks AirPlay with Apple TV functionality.
CBS All Access is a ripoff. These features should be included for free since CBS is available free over the air with an antenna.
1. So many commercials! It's ridiculous!
2. Watch a tv show and watch the same Samsung commercial at least 5 times!
3. Want to binge watch a show? Then you'll have to watch that same commercial countless amounts of time.
4. When you do get to watch a different commercial then the sound is crazy loud! And you have to turn your tv down, and then back up when the show comes back on.
5. Binge watching a show? First you have to search for it every time you want to watch it. Because there is no continue watching or save a show or recently view area.
6. Now that you have found your show don't forget what episode your on, because if you chose one you have to watch 2 commercials before you can start to watch it, if you pick wrong you have to watch another 2 commercials.
7. Now that you found your episode. If you left off in the middle and are going back to it, you have to watch the 2 commercials and then guess where you left off and watch 2 more commercials every time you fast forward.
In conclusion they really need to get it together. If they offer a free version I expect it to not work well, but if you offer $6 for limited commercials I except to be happy with my purchase and not still have to watch a lot of commercials.

downloaded this app so i could buy the all access service.. appears to cost more than on the apple tv app. the menus within the app do not load properly so i can't buy it there. very frustrating.

Every time I try and use the iPad and iPhone version, it auto closes and I can't use it.
This app is horrible and canceling your subscription is a nightmare. A total waste of your time and money. CBS should be ashamed of themselves.

This is one of the worse t.v. Apps I have ever used!!!
It constantly fails to load episodes and when it does, the show freezes so much why even bother trying to watch it!
I believe it is just a ploy to sucker people into purchasing their all-access version to watch more than the "free" 5 episodes of most shows.
Until these bugs are fixed and viewing the episodes is not the chore it currently is, I would rate this app at a "zero" if available and NOT recommend it to anyone seeking CBS shows!!!!

It's doesn't have all the episodes for their shows. If you want to watch any of the current popular shows you'll have to deal with only handful of episodes! Please don't waste your money like I did!!

This app is terrible. Every other station allows anyone to watch with a cable sign-in. You are greedy monsters CBS. If you were trying to achieve the title of "worst network ", you're a grand success. Shame on you again. What fool runs this company?

The app itself works on Apple TV but its so annoying I'm not going to renew my subscription. One of the shows I wanted to watch was The Big Bang Theory, but episodes 8-15 are just missing. Friday's episode of Late Night still isn't available on Saturday. There are LOTS of commercials. Sure, you can upgrade to a commercial free plan but are you kidding me? For practically the same price I can get Netflix or Hulu and get way more content. Don't waste your money.

CBS is the only station I can't watch on my firestick using the march madness app. Makes me simply want to never watch the station. Frankly going to a bar to watch because this station doesn't care at all about its viewers.

Didn't get to use app for more than 1 second because it force closes every time I open it. I got as far as signing in and that was it! I tried deleting and reinstalling, did that 6 times and had the same issue. I don't need the stress will never download this app again.

Why should we as consumers who already pay some kind of cable service to watch CBS in our homes and then be subject to pay again for the use of their app is nothing more than exploitation while other network apps stream and let you watch for free! Shame on CBS to exploit the paying public like this. So what they allow some content to be viewed without a subscription but bombard the programming with advertising.

This is a garbage app. "All Access" needs to be access to everything. What you get is 7 episodes of some shows, select episodes from others. At least have the full current seasons!!!

Was great. Now I can't even load the app. Anytime I got to "restore purchase" from iTunes, it force closes. I unsubscribe from the plan and deleted and re installed. Still nothing.
Months later. Installed again. Tried to subscribe. Won't let me. Won't play. Force closes. I really miss this app.

I wanna watch the good fight. But until cbs fixes their app, I can't watch it. It freezes. Then the sound cuts out and I have to keep stopping it and restarting it to get it to work. I'm gonna see how it does on my laptop but geez cbs, you big money making media conglomerate and you couldn't do better than this? Get your sh*t together.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. TV with no commercials is well worth the small monthly fee. Between this app and Hulu, I never watch commercials. I have deleted all the other broadcast apps and cancelled cable. It's about time tv caught up with technology! And the CBS shows are great. Thanks CBS!

Has to buffer ever 30 seconds even with good signal LTE/Wifi. Almost impossible to cancel subscription. Just stick with Netflix, Hulu, Freeform, CW, or even your Roku....
All other networks don't charge if you already pay for their service through a major provider. I will not pay again! I will start replacing all cbs shows with ones I can get caught up on without being charged twice.

I have been able to watch exactly 0 minutes of any show because after trying over and over to watch a show it continued to crash the moment I clicked to play anything... What's the point of an app if it doesn't work at all?
I can not believe they charge to watch free tv. Refuse to pay and close to just not watching channel. I do like Monday and Thursday nights but I'm sure I can find different shows to watch on networks that aren't greedy. Bye bye cbs
Autoplay and Subtitles 4/5
The app works fine on Apple TV, for the most part. There should, however, be an option to turn off autoplay. Also, subtitles have to be turned on each time a new video starts.

I love the shows on cbs but their app is poorly made. It crashes regularly, offers no playlist and is picky about its bandwidth.
Since the latest upgrade, app only crashes. Can't even open it on my Ipad latest model.

I tried and paid for the commercial and commercial fee versions for about 6 months. I hadn't owned or watched TV in about five years so, I was eager to try out all aspects of the service.
The selection of episodes is horrible and very inconsistent. For instance I thought about watching the hit: Big Bang Theory and wanted to start at season one--Nope you can't do that. The same with other current hits. Just the current seasons. You can watch all episodes of I love Lucy, NCIS and all the Star Treks, though. Other services out there have past seasons of many of these current running hit CBS shows so expect to be watching old episodes there--not here.
I want to watch the most recent Face the Nation. No, way. They wait other many, many weeks to post a very, very, very stale episode of that. It's news--who wants it fresh?
The same kind of inconsistencies range throughout all the rest of their current stuff: sometimes an episode is there the next day, sometimes not. Don't expect the big CBS monolith to show any care for the money you spend with them. This is an afterthought and it is doubtful that they have any full time staff working on this.
Live TV doesn't work when you are out and about--for me, just at home--useless!
I got the app and started the one week free trial. It didn't not work up to my standards so I deleted and cancelled my subscription the same day just to have them still charge me. What is the point in a free trial if they are still going to charge you when you do things by the rules?!
