Rude Employees at Choice Privileges Call Center!! 1/5
I am a Diamond Elite Member. I have spent well over 100 thousands of dollars at different Choice Hotels in California. Every time I have Called the Customer Service Center of Choice Privileges , I am talked to in a very Rude manner by your employees. They are extremely rude & unprofessional, They act as if I have inconvenienced them by inquiring about my account. You really should train your employees to practice better customer service. They are pathetic and if it happens to me again your hotels will loose my business forever😡

Both hotels I was interested in booking for my son to stay at by the Atlanta Airport said he has to be 20 and 21. Pretty sad when this is a Student trying to get home for the holidays. He is an adult and because of your hotel policies for this, I will not be booking anymore hotels through this outfit except to eventually use my points. Marriott Hotels will be getting my business from now on. That old saying “ you get what you pay” for is very true!

Are use quite a few apps for business, and this is one of the top ones. It makes booking a hotel and adding it to your calendar a simple process. You can also track your previous stays and the points earned at each stay.
Points can be redeemed with right on the app making it super easy to get your rewards without jumping through hoops.

Choice Hotels ran a limited time promotion touting “spend 2 nights and get a 3rd night free.” Yeah, good luck collecting on that. Every time I tried to collect, there was a new excuse as to why was unable to. First it was, you need to wait 3 days between checkout and rebooking for your free night. Then it was, you need to make the reservation thru their app or specific customer service phone number for it to count. Then it was even after spending 4 nights, meeting all their conditions, I still didn’t have “points” to receive a free night. Mind you, I wasn’t staying in the cheapest rooms. I was paying full price for double queen rooms. Save your time and energy and book at an alternate hotel like Holiday Inn Express or La Quinta. Better service, cleaner and no hassles with customer service!

Mahwah,NJ.Room was ok breakfast was terrible coffee was cold and person taking care of it didn’t want to be bothered. He had earphones on and was oblivious to what was going on around him.He insisted coffee was hotNice way to start your day when your away on business. I.m back to Hilton brands.

After spending fifteen minutes trying to verify my device by selecting all the squares with cars or road signs, I gave up trying. Really wanted to use the app, but could not get passed the archaic verify process. As we are now on the day of Touch passcode, Choice is still living in the days of reCAPTCHA.....pitiful.

Fighting with Choice for two years now cannot get me in hotel computer as a Elite diamond .i’ve been a member for 17 years with Choice . ain’t receiving any benefit from hotels they don’t recognize me in their system for being elite diamond .every time I call Choice they tell me they got the problem fixed .I had called Choice over 200 time in the last two years. they had me on Choice app as elite diamond ,Hotels will not except it unless it’s in there computer system stay in hotels for 200 days a yr.

I spent probably 15 minutes or more trying to recover my password this morning because I kept having to spend SO MUCH time selecting photos of cars, or storefronts, or street signs. I ALMOST gave up and they lost my business. Selecting rooms once you’re logged in is great, but GETTING logged in can be quite the ordeal.

I stay at Indianapolis South Comfort Inn often for UIndy football games! The staff is great...especially the young lady that works nights. She goes the extra mile. I’ve never had a major issue; if something needs to be resolved they take care of it!!
Modest Price for modest accommodations 3/5
I stayed for 10 nights and it was mostly comfortable. The daytime desk staff is very good. At night the new desk clerk seemed overwhelmed and was unable to answer my questions or help me. He said he was waiting for help to come but that didn’t happen ( they were supposed to call to help me but never did).
The room was adequate and the beds very comfortable, however housekeeping only comes every other day. The were some mechanical type problems as well- we had a flickering light in our room and after repeated reports, finally just left it off. It was over the vanity so it wasn’t convenient. The elevator was broken for part of the stay as well and we had to exchange keys many times (more than half) because they didn’t work when we got back to the hotel from the hospital (where my husband was critically ill).
All in all, great place for a couple nights, the price is right and you do get breakfast.

We love this hotel! We have stayed at other Choice locations and this one is the best. Never an issue, rooms are always clean. Even during my last stay they were remodeling and you could hardly tell. The staff is always smiling and helpful.
New update is bad 1/5
Looks like Choice does not want people to use their mobile application. I have been trying to login for last 30 mins and application is keep redirecting me to Choose Car, Choose road signs, Choose store front etc. I am sure if I continue use this application I will be able to remember all the road sign in the US.

I made two reservations through the app and the hotels canceled both reservations prior to my arrival and I was left to sleep in an airport.
The policy on the site states one thing and the hotels have another.
Not a robot verification 1/5
I never could make it past the verification that I am not a robot. The pictures are too tiny to see on a phone and evidently I couldn’t see the objects in the picture, because it kept asking me to continue the verification.
I deleted the app. It is a shame because I like to stay in some of the Choice hotels. I will use the Hilton Honors app instead and stay in theirs.

I would give this hotel a 1 star rating. From the rude man who called me and instead of him saying hello, when I answered my phone he states “ what do you want “ I said you called me. He then said he was calling to make a reservation at the Econo Lodge in Overland Park, Kansas. He then proceeded to tell me I had to pay more because I asked for a handicapped accessible room, I asked and he said because it was a handicap room. I told him to just give me a regular room. I also told him he was very rude.
When I got to the hotel the man behind the glass was just as rude. My room was very cold and I did not get any sleep. I have another reservation for another date but I am canceling that reservation and I will stay at the Holiday Inn because they are not rude and the rooms are very clean and warm. Another thing wrong with the room was the bathroom. There was no place to put my clothes. The only thing in that very small bathroom was a toilet and bathtub/shower. You have lost a very good customer because you have rude and uncaring people working for you. Your loss is my gain. I would rather pay a little more and get clean warm rooms and polite people. Where’s the Directv? 4/5
I wish all Choice Hotel partners would have Directv for television viewing. The room channel guides for the terrible cable stations that are impossible to view in a timely manner are rarely accurate. It seems to me, a business traveler, when a property has Directv everything else seems to be top notch, when it’s a cable property 💩

I haven't used all the features but the ones I need, & them ones work excellent.
It was so nice to have a clean, warm room waiting for us after traveling down from Maine where we had been without power 2 days due to storm devastation. Traffic delays and power outages caused us to get entirely off plan, so the convenience of Choice Privileges Program was invaluable in helping us navigate unknown territory.

Don't waste your time! It constantly produces errors, crashes, and takes 5 minutes to initially sign in because of the "Captcha Overkill". I am deleting! A glaring example of why I am no longer a Platinum member with Choice Hotels.

If you are on the points system of the choice hotels it is for the craper they take your points away from you and start accounts under your name to draw a confusing problem and when you call them about it they will hang the phone up on you with out taking care of anything and when you have everything you need for them they still don't want to honor there free nite and I have had to call them over 12 times all over the same reason

This has to be the WORST Choice Hotel weve ever stayed at. The rooms smell horrible. Tnis is the second room we tried here. The first was room 401. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Now this second room, 303 smelled less horrible but def not good. The halls smell, and the elevator smells. The only place so far that doesn’t smell is the lobby. The so called fried eggs in the morning were so dry the edges were curled up! Not appetizing looking at all. If there was somewhere else to stay near here, we would have gone there. We will never stay here again. We even purchased extra points to stay here because this was an anniversary get away. Don’t bother complaining because the manager is never available who the front desk says you need to speak to. I had Choice Hotels Corporate call and they were told the same thing. So again let me emphasize, DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TO! And lastly don’t fall for the “under construction” excuse. They were only working on the hallway near the lobby. There are so many other wrong things about this place, but I think you get the gist.

And with choice privileges and rewards we can even get free rooms when we qualify

This app is great!! We used it for our whole business trip, west coast to east coast, and it was so easy to use!! The only 2 things I wish they would fix, is you can’t use everything one the app, you have to go to the website. Also, you have to call to use your free nights, it would be much more convenient to be able to use the app for this too

Trying to log on using my user is and password. Password is not right so I have to go through the “I’m not a robot” verification process every time you try something and it takes forever. So I stop and book holiday inn or Hampton instead. What a PITA.

We have stayed here many times. I always find the room clean. However, the TV lineup is terrible and there is no microwave in the room. The last straw-we are Elite Gold members but because we pay cash they want a $50 deposit. Won't be staying here again!
HORRIBLE Rodeway in Rehobeth 1/5
My family booked 2 suites at the Rehoboth Beach location on Oct 6-Oct 9. When received rooms 107 & 109. Room 109 had a horrible odor, so that room was switched to 106. My mom was staying in that room, my mother is in her finally stages of lung disease. So of course we would assume the hotels would be clean. I was amazed at the amount of dust that came out of the air conditioning unit. My mom spent 2 days in bed with her breathing machine (bypap)on. We packed up the car and basically carried her out of her room, she is home resting now and seems to be doing better. The fear is that if her room had any type of mold or bacteria she will become deathly ill. When you plan a mini vacation with your mother because her time is limited, you would never image in your wildest dreams that a hotel could be so filthy.
The other room 107, when my daughter was using the bathroom, the ceiling above began leaking water down on her, we call and was move to 118. Oh my word, this room smelled so bad. I went in to the bathroom and found a wet vanity with mold growing inside, pictures below. I called again and was switched again. This all took place after 11pm on the day of check in. The 3rd shift gentleman credited my account $69 for our inconvenience. The next day they had guest staying in those rooms. Which there is no way they fixed those problems.
Sunday I received a call from my banks fraud protection wondering why I had 3 charges for 21.60 and one for 43.20. I went over to the office to ask what the charges were for, the had no clue. I ask who ran my card without my permission. The clerk yell and said he didn’t know and there was nothing she could do. I insisted she move my card from the system and not to bill anything with a reason. After much arguing back & forth she did void out the transactions. I currently have the charges still pending in my bank statement. Which my bank will have the money reversed if the money goes through. I have never stayed at a place that was that disgusting with such rude staff

Their updates don’t save your info. My discount code rarely shows up A real pain if you’d to use the I use the app 2-3 times a week. I’ll just stay somewhere else! Sad because the Choice hotels in TN and Ky where I travel have gotten much better.

I have been trying to merge two accounts now for going on two months, I have ask to have all points to be join together on one account, but no response. What’s so hard for them to take care of this, they did ask for a copy of my drivers license which I did sent, again no response.
