  • Excellent 5/5

    By Xfghddybvs
Have read books every day for 60 years. Since cloud library I rarely pick up a paper book. Thanks to cloud library and to my local library for providing access.
  • Too many crashes 2/5

    By dutchkirk
Why, oh why, does this app fail at the last chapter? It happened again this evening ... so I will return the book, borrow it again, then download it again. Very unsatisfactory workaround
  • Better than nothing 2/5

  • Good app for reading library books 4/5

    By Healyman
I’ve been using this to access books from the NYPL for several years. Generally works great. Occasionally doesn’t work. Sure beats buying books on Amazon.
  • Disappointing and frustrating. 1/5

    By notreading
Disappointing and frustrating. Borrowed books don't show for download—no way to access info.
  • still too few books, sigh 2/5

    By grannysmith3
nowhere near the number of books our library promised us. Also, can't suggest a book that isnt on their list. hopefully will getbetter. two months in, and still inferior to Overdrive :( still no new books, wish we could go back to Overdrive !
  • Easy 5/5

    By tinanovo
This app is so easy and user friendly. They offer a ton of books for every reader. Over it!
  • 3m iCloud library 5/5

    By HooplaHab
This is just a big plug for the 3m iCloud library. It's easy to use (I love the page turning look). They have a great selection of books. I haven't used it for other media, but may someday. It is a very good reading tool for me. I can make my own eye-saver page reading style too. Medimar2
  • Super for digital books 5/5

    By Racquetsguy
Are use this app all of the time with my iPad. I find it easy to search for cloudLibrary and download books to my iPad. I wish there were more clear directions for switching the destination of the book however, sometimes I wanted on my iPad and other times I wanted on my reading device. Once in the book all of the features work very well, and I love the fact that I can look up any word I want find the definition and more.
  • Loved it but now not so much 2/5

    By craftycaseymc
This app is frustrating. I waited weeks to get a book and now it keeps getting an error when downloading. I’ve tried a dozen times! Also frustrating that if I don’t finish the book before the time expires then it’s gone. Some books are 500+ pages. That’s a LOT to read for a busy person in a short amount of time, and then to finish it I get thrown back on to the wait list for half a year. Ridiculous.

Wish it kept a list of books I’ve read.....
  • Lame 1/5

    By Alice 727
When there are so many good apps out there why use a third rate one? Can’t ever get it to do what, won’t look up words, etc.
  • Love it 5/5

I love this app so much
  • Love this app and love being able to borrow these books 4/5

So easy to use. So many great books. So thankful they are available to me through this app.
  • Great app when the book you want is there 4/5

    By SeverusisAmazing
Usually I can find books I want to read on here so I have no major issues.
  • Love audiobooks but this app won't evolve 2/5

    By tvet reader
I love audiobooks! But sadly this app is writing on the coat tails of libraries that use it. The fixes are simple. - i'm on a waiting list for books that say they won't be available for up to 360 days! That wouldn't be the case if they let you bump the next person in front of you if the book comes available to you but you're not ready to read it. I have two books sitting in my phone ready to be listened to that I won't be listening to them for at least a week. If I had rejected them when they came available I would've been bumped back to the end of the line. But instead it would've been nice to be able to let the next person go. - there are so many books that used to be available with our previous audiobooks supplier and now are not with this one. This selection is not great. And then with the above comment it takes forever to get some books. - I miss the option of suggestions that if I liked one book then I might find these similar books to be good too. People who read one particular book also liked suggested books. - there is no renewal option! More than once I only needed a couple more days to finish a book and couldn't get that. I wish they would let you renew for 72 hours. Then someone close to the end of a book could binge on it and get it finished. - many other great suggestions by other people but not taken up on.
  • Works for me 4/5

    By MathMom
I use this through my library & find it easy to reserve books, read and/or listen to audio books. The book selection is limited by what my library offers, but that’s not a fault of the app. I use this on my iPad and have no technical issues
  • Clumsy, inflexible interface 1/5

    By DWRead201
My local library ditched Overdrive in favor of this app. I can only hope they correct their error.
  • Great on phone, less so on tablet 4/5

    By Mama9876123
Like many others, my library has recently started using CloudLibrary. And like others, I understand that this is because publishers do NOT have special library pricing and this is the best way libraries can offer a range of selection to meet the needs of the most readers, within a tight budget. The phone app is fantastic for listening to a range of audiobooks on my commute. I do find that there is a lag with the tablet app, where it shows books I have returned via my phone as still available, or where books I have on hold do not show as available on the tablet when I see them as downloadable on my phone. Very useful app in general, and I look forward to having developers continue to improve it to match the demand of so many libraries and patrons now using it.
  • I luv Cloud Library 5/5

    By Somolicious
I love having access to so many books. I would rate it higher if I could access the app from my kindle paper white.
  • I love this app 5/5

    By pianomansd
I have been using this app since it became available to my local library. I enjoy it so much, I was surprised to see the two and three star reviews. I don't use the audio book selection, and it seems as if that is where most of the negative reviews are targeted. I see a book I want, or search and find it. If it's not available, I put a hold in and when it is ready to be checked out, I get an email notifying me. What could be better. And it appears to me they have a great selection, too.
  • 3M Cloud 5/5

    Love it......
  • Hard to search 1/5

    By RunnerinSD
I don’t know why my library switched to this. Can’t search like you would think, have to bounce between this & library site, downloads are awkward. Hate this app.
  • Improving 3/5

    By Cbodine100
Over the past few months, amount of audiobook selections has been increasing.
  • Person who loves to read 4/5

    By love my town
I love CL and being able to read books on my phone is amazing. I just wish you could check out more than five books at a time.
  • Easy App to Use For Reading and Listening to your Favorite Books 4/5

    By Indianrunner1
I love how easy this App is to use for searching for, listening, and reading my favorite books. The only real downside is that the amount of content is relatively small and I can't read everything I want to from this library. Hold times can also be a bit lengthy due to limited inventory however, I am so thankful that Chandler Public Library has given us a user-friendly way to access books online.
  • Great app when I’m able to locate the book that I’m looking for. 3/5

    By SoftSpot29
Great app when I’m able to locate the book that I’m looking for. Not all books available and I was under the impression that any book in the library would be available for selection in the Cloud Library app.
  • Just one thing missing 4/5

    By Jake the Tabby
It would be nice if we had the option to clear just the books that we want to our of the history and books of interest. I want to keep some in the list but be able to delete the ones that no longer interest me. If we can do that I would give 5 stars.
  • Saves money 5/5

Love it-saving money not having to buy books-or have my monthly bill at the library!;)
  • Cloud library 4/5

    By bk1043
Love that it is free and although there are many selections, I find some books not offered. All in all it is a great library:)
  • Amazing 5/5

  • Love it! 5/5

    By Sari@15
I read and used a couple of books and audiobooks, I like the way that the chapters are organize I listen to my books while I clean or drive to work... Great application to use for free with a lot of information!
  • Awful 1/5

    By SurferKitty
My library switched to Cloud Library from Overdrive and it was like drinking unsweetened watered down hot chocolate after having been happily spoiled with the richest sweetened stuff topped with freshly whipped cream. So unintuitive and tons of unavailable books--I git frustrated to the point that I'm now paying the Brooklyn Library $50 per year to use their Overdrive. Totally worth it, such a better experience for audiobooks and ebooks. The bccls really loused up a great system with this app. Go to Brooklyn Library. Usable even if you don't live in New York State!
  • Love ! 5/5

    By hollypeanut
I have Read so many books from my library since using this app. It is great for e books and audio books. Since I live 20 miles away from my library, it is so easy to read at home
  • Review 5/5

Easy to use. I’m a non-tech person. Love it.
  • No problems with ebooks 5/5

    By Yurjokingright
I have had to issues. However, I do not listen to audio books.
  • So far so good 4/5

    By mms1943
I have been using this app for a week or so to read e books. Haven’t had any problems.
  • Good app 4/5

    By ChattyAngel
I find Cloud Library easy to use. So far, I haven't had any trouble finding and downloading books. I like the fact that I only have to enter my library card once and then I'm already in when I want to get another book.
  • Love it! 4/5

    By UsrNew
Love this app Economical (aka “free”) way to read if you don’t need to read current bestsellers right away.
  • Great app for casual reading 5/5

    By FA1SGL
If you want to read a book you don't necessarily want to keep this is the application to use. If your library has it you can download the ePub version (if available) or reserve the print copy or in some cases an audiobook. The only con that I have run into is that one can find it nearly impossible to properly highlight a word to get it defined. I've the best stylus readily available and it's still very very difficult.
  • Phone app acceptable - kindle not so much 4/5

    By ChantalSt
The cloudLibrary works as it should on my iPhone however I have yet to figure out how to use the app on my Kindle. I much preferred the app my library used before switching to cloudLibrary. I gave it four stars because the majority of the time I use it on my mobile device.
  • Only good for reading 2/5

    By Starrgazin
In comparison to other digital book apps, this one doesn’t fair to well. It’s difficult to unhighlight. The in app dictionary is difficult to use, highlighting more letters or words than intended rendering the define function useless. Outside of just reading the book this app doesn’t perform as good as it seems it should.
  • Would like columns 3/5

    By HJGD1
App is mostly okay, but I like to read with my iPad horizontal, and I have to reduce the margin width a lot to get one readable width column. Nook Books make two columns and it's so much easier on the eye.
  • LOVE this app 5/5

    By CDJMN
This is, by far, my MVP app. I am a voracious reader, and this allows me to read dozens (if not hundreds) of books for free each year. So grateful for this wonderful service! App stability has improved so much in the 5+ years I've been using it.
  • Hate this app...why did my library switch? 1/5

    By FaerieRN!
It’s very difficult to look up anything on this app.
  • Overdrive was so much better than thls 2/5

    By ScCal Casual
Last month my local library switched from Overdrive to CloudLibrary. The upside seems to be shorter wait times for books and larger selection. The downsides are 1) audiobooks frequently stop with error messages and can only be restated by going to the chapter listing and manually selecting the position and then hitting play. (Since I listen to audiobooks while driving on my daily commute this is a major issue), 2) mo Kindle support for ebooks which was available in Overdrive, ( Since Kindle is by far the best selling ereader why would the library make this switch? Someone sold them a bill of goods.) and 3) CloudLibrary does not seem to support ‘enhanced’ audiobooks. Ebhanced audiobooks have downloadable PDF files with supplementary materials like maps and photos.
  • iCloud review 5/5

    By lvmn
I love iCloud but only use it through my library. I go looking for a particular total or author, often find it available on iCloud. Very easy to access and download. Only problem is you can’t renew.
