I LOVE Country Living, so I’m quite disappointed with the new versions of the app. I really dislike scrolling up through the articles like a web page. I want a magazine app to look/feel like I’m scrolling through a magazine, not a web page. It’s clumsy, it’s difficult to navigate the pages, and it’s slow. I’ve had it crash, but maybe this latest update will fix that...we shall see. I truly hope someone is listening to your longtime/loyal readers. It’s seems to be a theme in the reviews that we’re not fans of the “new look and feel” of the app.
Crashes, deleted downloads 1/5
New update constantly crashes. Unable to view magazine. Deleted all of my magazines from the previous years and won't restore anything but the current subscription. I have to download everything again. AWFUL!!!
Love the magazine, hate the ads 3/5
I dislike that I am forced to spend time on the ads and am automatically directed to their sites. I can not seem to find a way to get back to the content without closing the app an waiting a while. It is irritating.
Too many issues with App 1/5
Paid for subscription and wouldn't allow me to log in. Contacted customer service and once that issue was resolved I couldn't view the issues, it was requiring I pay for every issue even though I am subscribed.
Country living magazine 1/5
I did the update and now I have lost all my archive issues . It is wanting me to repurchase. What can I do
By Hortencia MacGillicudy

Stunning Magazine!! 5/5
By AllieRat's Phone
Love having this for inspiration to decorate our new home!!
Does not recognize my iTunes subscription 1/5
Tells me there is a new issue to download but asks me to pay when I try to download it. Grrr...
Slow to load 2/5
I use to enjoy this magazine, but now that I get the digital edition I don't bother with it as often because it takes five minutes to load each article,...one...at...a...time

Best magazine for relax, comfortable ideas for home decorating.
The Best 5/5
I love this magazine❣.. And now being able to read it online, it makes it more convenient and even better❣
Great magazine 5/5
By Mark Casto
Enjoying each article because we have just purchased a fixer upper and it has given me great ideas.
Wow! Just converted to digital and love it! I was hesitant to give up my printed version because I've used other mag apps and have been supremely disappointed. This app is what a mag app should be - large/clear photos and print with the ability to save/pin and bookmark easily.
Thanks CL for raising the bar. Long live magazines in their new digital format😊
New favorite magazine!!!
Country on my IPad Luv it❤️ 5/5
So much to see, read and dream about in all the issues. My first digital magazine and I luv the ease of use, easy to read format.
BETTER THAN EXPECTED! 5/5
I did not expect to love the IPad version better than hard copy of magazine. Very clear, easy to read, sharp images. I am thrilled that I can carry with me & read at a moments notice. Love it!
Happy reader! 5/5
I have been a Country Living subscriber for at least 30 years. It is nice to have a take-along digital edition. Don't know why I didn't do this sooner.
Love 💖 5/5
I love this magazine, and have subscribed for years. This digital version is just as good as the hard copy.
Very bulky, not easy to navigate, terrible instructions. Waste of money.
Every time y'all deliver 5/5
Doesn't matter what day it comes in the mail or how tired I am, when this comes I pour over every page picking out projects and folding tabs on pages of things I want to research or purchase. Less than a week or two later I do a recap on my iPad-yes- I have a subscription to both. And if I'm out somewhere and need to I purchase single issues on my phone. Can't get enough--loved this magazine for 12 years. Thank you for staying relevant and chock full of things I want to see! You're doing it right!
Every year gets better 5/5
I'm just learning the tricks of the online version. I gotta say the November issue is the best so far this year. I've been very disappointed with the mag most of this year. However the November and December issues restored my faith. I've replicated one kitchen I saw 15 years ago. Now this Nov issue I've found FIVE rooms I'm going to duplicate in the new Va. retirement house we are building. Great mag. Nothing else like it
Love it! 5/5
Had some problems getting the digital version. Had to update software first - then no problem. Love the digital version on my iPad mini. Also have a Kindle Fire but this is so much better. Love it. And no clutter with print version makes it that much better!
App Has Stopped Restoring Purchases Under iOS 8.1 1/5
By iPhone Devotee
Please fix the app to reflect current status as subscriber via iTunes and enable "restore past purchases". The app use to work just fine prior to the iOS 8.1 update. Please fix soon so I don't have to cancel my subscription!
Cannot open 1/5
Installed Country Living Oct 18. Cannot open from the newstand or iTunes store. I have an iPad1. If the mag cannot be used on my iPad, please cancel subscription.
Update won't open - THEY FIXED IT!! 5/5
By Tracy LB
UPDATE- They fixed the issues I had with the app! I'm very satisfied with the fix and how quickly the issues were addressed. This is a great magazine!
I just installed the latest update today and it moved the app from newsstand to the regular screen and it won't even open now. Did you test this before putting it out?! I will be canceling my subscription if this is not fixed soon. I hadn't even read the October issue yet!
Just transferred to digital version 1/5
By Tiffany Blue Fantasy
I cannot open on my iPad!!!! My iPad is the first generation. What's going on with this????? If not fixed ASAP I will cancel my digital version & go back to my standard magazine subscription!!!!
Thanksgiving, Really? 2/5
By Guy in Delaware
I didn't find a single original or useful idea in this issue. Cover was nice but that's where it ended
Unhappy reader 1/5
This ap does not even open. I cannot delete it from my iPad, and it is now taking up space on my screen, with no use. Please help me to delete it.
Too much trouble 1/5
It is way too much trouble to use the Hearst publication apps because every month I have to log back into my iTunes account to restore my purchase history. Without doing this, I can never download the newest issues.
Love love love it! 5/5
By Old dog new tricks!
This is my first time to look at a magazine in a digital form. I have had my new tablet for less than 48 hours and Country Living will be my first subscription . I have stacks of old issues and struggle to give them up to my recycle bin! I look forward to an alternative way of reading my favorite articles!
IPad app keeps crashing 1/5
Please fix this! I can't read my subscription.
Love this magazine, in print or on my iPhone. It's great and I'm always inspired!!
Love love love 5/5
By Art the Ace
I love this magazine! I wish I can afford some of the designs!
I love this issue the craft with the blueberries is adorable we have had many blueberries this year far more than last. I am going to try this and try it with the aluminum pie pan to see if that will work and try a few other things also. Thanks for your magazine it is wonderful!
Terrible app 1/5
By Former suscriber
This is a very bad app, does not function, technical support is a joke! Country Living couldn't get me back if they offered to pay me to reinstall!
Cannot download 1/5
Like others have reported, I too am paying for a digital subscription that I cannot download. What is being done to remedy this? Does anyone at the magazine actually pay attention to these reviews?
Don't waste your money! 1/5
Not able to download anything after 1st issue. What a gigantic ripoff!!!
Cannot open magazine 1/5
Since the most recent update I can no longer open the magazine. So I am paying for something I can no longer use. I'm very disapointed.
Cannot Read My Sub on Ipad 1/5
I am a longtime subscriber. Suddenly I cannot read the magazine on my ipad. I do not want the paper version, which I still get in the mail. I want the digital version.
Will not open keeps crashing 1/5
Awful, terrible waste of time effort and money.
Really? ...pay for both a hard copy subscription & digital. 1/5
Why would anyone want to pay for both a hard copy subscription (which I do) and a digital subscription? I don't think so! I immediately deleted this app! To post a review of this app I'm required to rate at least one star, but really the app isn't even worth one star.
Most frustrating purchase. 1/5
I wish I had never switched from print to dig edition. Plus it cost me 5 dollars.
I got a lot of decor ideas
This is the only magazine I subscribe to that expects I pay another fee to read on my iPad. All of my other print subscriptions allow dual use. I'm unimpressed.
Don't do it!!! 1/5
I purchased a year's subscription in February. I have been unable to download any new magazines or view any of my old magazines ever since I updated my iPad to ios 6.1.3. Apple support says my "subscription expired", and Country Living won't respond to my concerns. So I guess I've been cheated out of half of my paid subscription plus the other digital Country Living issues I paid for. :(
Whe and how does one change their password??? Would be nice to have someway to do this.
Can't open 2/5
Loved the magazine but now the program won't even open just flickers and quits disappointing
BAD UPDATE of Country Living 1/5
Even after the second update all old issues are gone. Restore doesn't
work. Problems are not solved. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Canceled my monthly subscription.
Southern Living includes digital subscription w/ print. I haven't renewed my Country Living because of that policy.
