So easy!! 5/5
So far, I love this app! It makes it so easy to see where I rank and submit my scores!! So happy they made an app!!
All those entry fees and still bad app??? 1/5
By Bill H Denver
Continue to be unimpressed by the CrossFit app and website. CrossFit collects $millions in entry fees. Searching previous years is cumbersome or ineffective. Continue to be disappointed but spend my $20 to support our local gym’s effort. When can we start kipping sit-ups?
Works Intermittently 3/5
Some times it shows I’m registered for the open, sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, I click on register now and it takes me to the website that shows I’m registered. 🤷🏻♂️ (iPhone X on 11.2.5 iOS update)
Bug report 4/5
Love having an app this year! I just registered but wasn't able to join my team through the app because the pop up window appears mostly off the screen of my phone and can't be read. IPhone 6s
Already registered for the open but when I get into the app asks me to register. I click the register button and says am already registered but app still showing that message and not the stats
Leaderboards for speciality sections.. 5/5
With the new categories of military, fire, nurse, student, etc. there should be a section athletes signed up in each can track. Not only does an athlete want to see the other leaderboards but also their specialty.

Big improvement 4/5
By Ares Black
Much more user friendly than last year.
Would have been 5 4/5
Better than the first version. One thing. The pictures for your page load in sideways.
Great feature gone 5/5
After a year absence, glad to see the app back. The most important feature is the ability to enter scores, which we can’t assess until the Games starts. Another great feature of the past has been taken away - the ability to create and save custom leaderboards.
So far, so great! 5/5
Glad there is an app this year. I downloaded this app tonight and played around with and and was impressed. The Leaderboard is fantastic and easy to use and filter to see where you really stack up. I’m excited to see this feature when the Open starts in a few weeks. I will update once the Open starts to see how well it functions with the release of each workout. So far, so great
So Slick!!!! 5/5
Love the new app design and layout!! Very fast and responsive!
Why is this not updated??? 5/5
By This is good stuff!!!!!!
I wanna see this years info!!! Love the app tho. And love the crossfit games. So good!!!
Probably fine for next year's Open, title misleading 4/5
So disappointed this is not a way to watch the CrossFit Games.
Hopefully it will continue to be supported for the Open next year, but a more helpful name would be great.
Also, Google search: not helpful.
Almost perfect! 4/5
Results post faster to the app than to the website! For some reason the app doesn't show in notifications so you can't have notifications set up (even though it says you can in settings). Wish you could view athlete profiles in-app as well.
Dig this app 5/5
Much quicker than the site. Pretty nice customization. Nice to look at. Great for Regionals updates as far as rankings.
Crashes some times 4/5
Totally easy to use, just crashes at random moments.
Crossfit games app 1/5
Super buggy and unstable. I had to delete and reinstall at least four times this season
Only good for leaderboard 2/5
By Guy in SA
This app does fine for score checking and submission, but it could be better. It only shows the one open workout, not the other categories. News and info is a year out of date
By Wendy Bolinger
Lots of app-bashing on here. In my opinion, it was a convenient way to submit my score and view ranking. I like it. Like anything, there are always going to be ways to improve so I'm sure future updates will only get better, but it was worth every penny I paid for the app. 😉 I guess if I never used a PC I might feel differently, but for a free app with a quick link to my info, it was great.
Great app 4/5
Quick and easy to check your overall standing on the leaderboard. The only negative would be there is not much information other than your standing and that probably stems from the CrossFit opens scoring system.
Needs a complete overhaul! 1/5
Crashes and doesn't load. Worked better in previous years. They need to upgrade the app!
It's addictive 5/5
It's nice informational tool for those who follow the open and the games. Some of the features don't always work but it is enough for me.
Clarification of how the standings are calculated. 3/5
It took some time to "get it"
On another note. With the number of individuals competing it would be a great opportunity to determine statistics on many levels, scientifically. You could draw enormous amounts of beneficial information on many different stats. I hope someone takes this into account and can write up the stats. ie, gender age, diet, just to name a couple, etc.
Too many problems! 1/5
By Trainer Momma
Very glitchy. A lot of inconsistencies. It shut down all the time. The scores were often listed as 999. I couldn't rely on it to see scores or validate. It needs to be better CrossFit.
Works mostly 3/5
Decent for my two main uses:
Submitting my score and seeing where I rank. If I want to do any detailed leaderboard searching, I go to the desktop site.
We should all be working harder 2/5
Nice plan and lay out. Good colors for the eyes. Appropriate categories. Slow response time. Page skips and can't read where typing. Not able to submit 16.5 at all on app.
Too buggy 3/5
Nice interface but its too buggy. Doesn't load recent open scores and has trouble with loading custom leaderboards.
Pretty good 3/5
Closes unexpectedly but informational. Pretty neat to see standings.
Crossfit #1 sport 5/5
Makes it easy to send scores and look at the open!
Basic use 4/5
Worked for me for just the basic use.
Better on small levels 3/5
I find this app great to view standings on my box and locally and it's easy to compare scores to see just how much each rep counts. However, I do wish I could view more on their profile when I click on an athlete. Seeing my worldwide standing isn't extremely important to me because I'm not in that top 2%, but a jump to your page would be nice.
First time I did the open ... I had fun
Great APP 5/5
Everything you need to know about the Open is in the APP. Your standing and the WODS. The only thing I would say add is being able to search other people regionally and internationally.
I've never had any problems with this app. Five stars
Great app, super convenient! 5/5
By D Brothel
The title says it all, very convenient putting in scores and following the leaderboards!
Ok app 2/5
It has a lot of bugs and lacks some of the functionality I would expect.
Good just to check scores 3/5
I found this app good to check scores and sometimes to submit my scores. However, I can't find scaled workouts or other divisions workouts. It will be good to be able to find all the information needed to compete.
Haven't had any issues and does exactly as advertised .
Good app 4/5
Gives me what I need
Buggy, needs improvement 2/5
Need to be able to share via Facebook and I get errors. No help within the app to troubleshoot
Kinda Cool, Very Buggy 2/5
Works well if you just want a quick way to see how you stand in the open.
Once you start trying to do anything else, it starts getting buggy.
-Tapping someone's name more than once often covers up the person directly beneath that one and can't be recovered without navigating to a different screen first.
-Trying to use the filters in the worldwide search quite often randomly screws up. You have to keep reapplying the filters or it just takes you to random spots on the list. Not very smooth.
-Entering scores for the open has lots of viewability issues, like a floating banner that covers up where you're trying to enter data, sometimes it skips fields when you tap 'next', etc.
-Prolonged use leads to lockup
Also missing functionality I would expect to have such as tapping on an athlete I would expect to be able to view that person's stats/info/standing in region/world etc. Instead, all you see is their scores and placement within the current viewed group.
The regional leaderboard has no ability to search for athletes or apply filters. You can only select "Find me". So, to do anything else you have to go to the worldwide board and apply filters. But then you're dealing with the weird problems mentioned earlier.
Free app = Get what you pay for.
Navigation through the app is fantastic. Entering and finding scores through the side menu is easy as well. Great for the avid crossfitter.
It's great, but a little slow 4/5
By Sammy smiles
I really like the app, but it's kind of slow and lags sometimes.
Easy to use 3/5
I have read a lot of the reviews and their are a few things I agree with. I would like a "find me" on each leader board. When I scroll down it doesn't always let me scroll far enough to find myself or the others I'm tracking. But I enjoy being able to track what I can and it works for a basic model to enter scores and see where I stand.
Easy to use! 5/5
Easy to use and makes everything accessible
First Timer 4/5
By Dave Trainer
Well it's my first Open So I'm not a good recourse but I'm going to vent on the Workouts, See if I'm the only one. First .1 & .2 had too high wt. for me but the Scaled are Ridiculously Too easy I refuse to do them, not even fun, I heard they were more challenging last yr. I Need an Intermediate, Hoping others do too. I'll Be Rx'ing next Open so it won't matter to me but just putting it out there.
Small improvements requested 4/5
It does what it is intended too. It would be great to have searches for a broader and more specific info, along the lines of the website. But it works for basic standing info and gets the job done.
Needs some adjusting 3/5
By B from Benicia
It is difficult to go through the Leader Board stats.
I wish they would spend a little time on fixing the leaderboards so we can actually view them. Plus get the workouts on there when they are released!
