When I go into the app to search for my school it won't even search. I can type in and select but it won't do anything. I was really disappointed and hoped to be able to use my online textbooks on my phone but I guess not.

Fix or bring Quest back 1/5
My students will no longer be able to use Quest after iOS 11. The Quest app may not be sleek, but it functions well and is user friendly. This app is not. I had to delete and re download several times before it worked. It takes forever to load searches. It searches my whole district every time when I just want my students default to be searching their building. I may just have to have kids use the website instead of this app after iOS 11 on their iPads. This is beyond frustrating.

Not working on iPhones for weeks 1/5
This app is awful to begin with but it's like the most convenient way to listen and read Follet's products. Now it's getting worse because the iPhone app isn't working! I tried it on 4 different devices and we all get the same error message (can't find Universal search...?) This has been happening for at least 2 weeks. And of course there's no contact information to perhaps troubleshoot these issues.

Poorly designed and poorly maintained 2/5
This app is not user friendly. It takes several steps to get to an ebook or audiobook and then frequently logs users out. I often get error messages when I try to log in and it tells me to try again later, but to no avail. It is also difficult to manage checked out items and return them. Usually the user has to wait until the item automatically returns. This is why our district is looking into switching to Overdrive.

I am a high school media specialist, so I have been using different versions of this app for years. I wish I could recommend it to my students, but it is so frustrating to me personally that I can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone else. First of all it takes four or five steps just to get to your checkouts. There are no speed controls to slow down or speed up the narration. The app freezes often or just knocks the user out all together. I am in the middle of a great audiobook, and today a message pops up that says it is unavailable. I tried everything including reinstalling the app. Now it says my book is downloaded on another device which means I won't be able to access it until it is automatically returned... in 3 weeks! Argh!!!! Follett should take some notes from the Overdrive app and make some much needed improvements!

This recent update to destiny Discover is a significant improvement to past versions. I can easily see an access all of my school district's Library material and eContent, and it is simple enough where my kids can access their ebooks from anywhere!

Downloaded Audiobooks won't play 1/5
After the Jan. 14th update, the audiobook downloaded to my Device will not play. I am on chapter 138 of 143 and it has taken me all the way back to the beginning of the book. I thought maybe I could fast forward 137 chapters to my point at the end of the book; however when I hit play the app closes.

If I'm not on the app it will log me out. Which first of all doesn't make sense, sense this is a reading app. Then after all that happens I also lose my audiobook place and have to press the 15 sec forward button a crap ton of times in order to get back to my place. I really hope my school does not continue to use this because it is horrible.

Slow. Spinning wheel. Every time I click log in, it spins for awhile and shows me a blank screen. Uninstalled, restarted, updated iOS... Please fix this. Our school has invested a lot in your ebooks. This app is currently useless!

I have invested a lot of time in trying to get this app set up. This morning, I continued the quest by spending about 30 minutes on the phone with technical support. After explaining the issue to the technician. I was told the button to search as a guest does not work, users must log in with a user name and password. However, the app will not advance past the initial search for your school screen. The technician then told me well you will have to leave the app on the iPad and search using safari. I don't understand why Follett is providing an app their technicians do not even know how to make functional.

Very disappointed in this app. Non responsive and difficult to navigate. I would think that for all the money Follett makes from schools they could pay someone to figure out a decent ereader app.

App is slow and lackluster, and you feel overjoyed when you finally log in. This app needs a major overhaul. It is very bland and has some persnickety aspects to it. Only use this app if you absolutely need to, it is a pain to use. It has a good idea though, for using books when you cannot access a paper book.

While the features are helpful and user friendly, the constant logout is extremely frustrating. After logging back in I need to find my page each time. Huge turnoff for students. On top of losing access to many books after one or two years. I won't be purchasing more ebooks until this logging out issue is resolved.

This app is an embarrassment. It makes reading an unpleasant experience for lifetime readers, I can't imagine the torture of using this app when you're a struggling one. I feel for all the school librarians and media specialists who find themselves in a position of having to demo it to students.

Slow and unresponsive. I just updated from the BryteWave K-12 app and am extremely disappointed. Why, after 5 years can Follett not get this right?! Every time I turn a page I get a spinning wheel before the next page loads. Same with resizing text. Navigating away from a page and back to a new search or my book bag causes a spinning wheel for 5 or more seconds. For four days in a row, when opening the Destiny Discover app, the spinning wheel appears and informs me that it is updating the app. After almost 5 minutes this app update is completed. Can you imagine a class of 25+ students sitting in class waiting for this to occur? The first time I tried to download a simultaneous access ebook, i was kicked out of the app with a message that I had lost internet connection. But I hadn’t. After finally downloading this book, I discovered that both text and pictures ran off the pages and I needed to scroll both left and right, up and down, to read the page. Really? Overdrive and every other ebook company can produce software that is user friendly and performs well. Why can’t Follett? I am embarrassed to show this to students! Rather than trying to add features, Follett just needs to make a simple app that actually works!

It is slow...takes forever to login and then it logs me out every 30 minutes. I can't promote this to students. I don't won't to use it. It isn't an Internet issue the app does this at home and school. This is the 3rd app Follett has had since I started the ebook collection and it is horrible!

App won't launch, doesn't even go to a log in screen.
Doesn't open at all. Just sits on the home screen. What a piece of junk. This is a huge company from which I purchase all our media center books for our school. Get it together, Follett.
Awful - what to do 1/5
This 'newest' version is just terrible. We use Follett for our media system at school, but how can I, in good conscience tell my staff and students to use this. I just bought several hundreds of dollars in audio and e-books. The app quits out, makes you sign in each time, and Every other day decides to NOT open at all. Just sits on the opening screen. Please fix this before school starts up in August.

My Daughter is going into 6th grade and has required reading to do. I was told this app has what she needs but when I get to the page that lets you put in the state and school it won't search.
Logging On = 👎 2/5
The app opens in the latest update, but it just tells me to select my location and school and then there's no "next" or "log in" button. You just type it in and then nothing happens. Not even a loading buffer. It might be something I'm doing wrong but I highly doubt it.
This app won't open for some reason. It started just after the most recent update. What's the problem?
