I’ve booked a first class round trip. The departure time on the return trip was smudged on the print out and now I’m unable to access the itinerary AT ALL in spite of having saved all the info in one password.

Every time I use the app the prices are always higher for hotel and flights.
My wife views the flights not signed into any account and the prices are cheaper. I look at the same flights sitting next to her while signed into the app and the prices are higher for me. This is an ongoing issue over multiple trips booked.
We have to look at our flights and hotels not signed into any account and then sign in when we are ready to check out.
Please don’t punish people that use your app by charging them more to use your app.

price jump after payment info provided 1/5
app does not accurately reflect prices and awful customer service experience.
booked a trip (flight and hotel). at point of payment, after card info provided, suddenly the price jumped up. this did not seem fair, since i had already gone through all the steps of selecting my flight and hotel including putting in payment info.
so i went through the booking process from the start. again, the lower price was reflected until after i input payment info, when it suddenly jumped again.
this seemed like bad faith and a pressure sales tactic—prices shouldn’t jump right at the point of purchase, after all the work is done and payment info is submitted. i contacted customer service via twitter.
their response was that it was the airlines’ fault for changing prices constantly (does not seem true, because the lower price kept being shown during two bookings, until the moment payment was about to be made), and they refused refund in price difference and actually told me to book through the airlines and hotels directly.
i will avoid using expedia going forward, and i recommend that others avoid it as well.

Tried to book a trip on my iPad from Detroit ,Michigan to Cancún, Mexico thru the Expedia app. I could get the flights and hotel but there is no place to book ground transportation and no place to get trip insurance. Called customer service and get a person I couldn’t understand and terrible background noise of other people talking. Bad experience!

Sometimes it's slow but I always use when I need to book flight, hotel, activities and much more. I've used Expedia to plan my trip to Europe, it helped me with flight, activities and hotel stay. Great app.

I booked my car and hotel from the Expedia App yet on the day of my travel it didn’t show up as my trips or itinerary and I had to go back to email to look up my details. My cellular data was allowing access without being connected to WiFi yet the message in the email and the app both barely gave me any assistance and it’s not very clear as to what the app is really good for. I’ve gotten no alerts on my phone or through my email other than asking if I am satisfied with my car pickup. Once I found out who i booked my car through then I was fine but the app was so no help whatsoever. Needs a lot of work especially since I should be able to see what I booked and when.

Got a room quickly in a hotel in Newport RI that hotel.com said was unavailable. And it was $13 cheaper! I have booked many flights, cars and hotels through Expedia and never had a problem.

My mom is in a nursing home with Parkinson's and dementia and I needed to cancel the reservation. I was completely unaware that I had made a nonrefundable reservation, because I never do!!! I was told it would cost me $180 to cancel my reservation! outrageous!!! Be extremely cautious when choosing a reservation on Expedia.com!!!!!!

There is no easy way to correct name on account. And if you want to cancel it is had to find out how on your phone app.

After being told i would get my refund from the Rivera hotel In Newark New Jersey It took 2 and a half weeks just for them to say oh sorry we cant actually get you your refund. Even though, i called 2 days Ahead of time to cancel my reservation the communication between hotel and Expedia was terrible the manager all of a sudden wasn’t available for 2 weeks no matter what time i called or they called the hotel. overall worst experience with Expedia dont make promises you can not keep EXPEDIA!!!

App is watching my location even though App is not active. Sends notifications I'm at a hotel I did not book with Expedia. So definitely spying. Privacy setting is while using App. Now deleting app since cannot be trusted.

I have made 6 separate reservations for hotels since May 6 2017 with a copy of my itineraries. When I viewed my account on the app I noticed I haven’t received any points. The call lasted 2.5 hrs!!! Placed repeatedly on hold just to reach a supervisor, when I finally got to speak to a supervisor they called corporate. I did receive my points though they were not doubled (it’s said that your points are doubled when using your app). Be careful when using the app and view your points after every use, seems to be a constant issue.

Very comprehensive app for a very comprehensive service. Simple, streamlined and powerful. Expedia is great - just make sure to establish a complete profile at the website. It will pay dividends as you book on the array of options presented. Great for business & pleasure travel, international & domestic.
Just experienced their $1,672.00 mistake, be ware 1/5
2 months ago was charged additional $1672.00 for a 7 month lap child on the international flight because Expedia didn’t issue a lap seat ticket.
British airlines charged me a full round trip fare and obviously that isn’t right because flight was full and they couldn’t even sell me a seat.
It was ridiculous that a lap child’s ticket ended up costing 112% more than a grown up fare, but o well I can’t leave a 7month old behind and they sure took advantage of that.
Don’t trust anything their 3rd world country customer service call center tells you, immediately ask to speak with a manager who actually understands what they are saying themselves.

I use this app for almost all of my hotel rooms, flights and car rentals. I travel a lot and am at Gold status. I really don’t notice a great savings for using the app or for even using them. I booked a trip to the Bahamas and found out a couple of weeks before the trip the resort was closed, not from them it was by accident.They didn’t even know!
The app isn’t that user friendly. I have a small dog and there is no filter for that. I ask an agent once why I can get the same rate on other sites, what is my incentive to stay with Expedia? I was put on hold and never got an answer. Thinking of switching to Travelocity.

I've been with Expedia for over a decade and it's time we went our separate ways. There are literally no benefits for using it. It's not cheaper, the airlines treat you like crap when you book through it, there are no rewards despite attempts to make you believe otherwise, and it doesn't automatically store your TSA pre information. It's a flight search tool and that's all. I can do that with many of the competitors.

Good app needs some improvement on option selection. Also like to see all my travel booking as an itinerary listing to be printable and could be emailed. Example I do have a 6 weeks trip visiting 10 cities with 10 hotels like to be able to share days and hotels address and contact on one sheet of paper for quick reference ant to share with travel mates. Thanks

Insurance nightmare 1/5
Hope you never have to use a travel voucher issued by expedia when utilizing their insurance program. I was on hold an hour and they claimed cost of tickets increased $1000 each while I was holding. This is after we discussed my flight choices and cost. Horrible experience.
