Don't book thru Expedia! 1/5
Hurricane came thru st thomas and the airport was closed and they still wouldn't work with me! They didn't even waive the 300.00 change flight charge! They are awful! Book thru the airline instead.

I tried to book a bungle trip on here for almost 2 hrs only to be told at the very end " server not working try again" so I tried and tried..finally after losing my mind I call customer svc in the Phillipines and LITERALLY 2hrs and 10 min later I still had nothing! Wow this is by far the worst ever ever in my life! Terrible support! I'd be better off walking from Texas to Vegas than to go via Expedia! PATHETIC COMPANY!

Have the gold plus membership because of all the business we do. Booking hotels is easy however cannot Utilize the reward coupons for over 2 months now and no one seems to care from their company.

The Expedia app used to be great, I could make travel arrangements on my iPhone/iPad and then use the accompanying Apple Watch app to keep my itineraries/booking info/boarding passes... now recently the Apple Watch app is gone and so is my desire to use Expedia!

There is 1 thing I got to say about it is please add the feature of "room number" to the app just as what your PC version does. Otherwise I found no way to choose more than 1 room per time.

I have completed the booking and entered credit card information but the app wouldn't let me checkout! It keeps saying that it can't process the booking. It's very frustrating because the time is ticking and the prices are going up and the availability is going down and I have to worry if I can find a hotel for our trip. I called the Expedia customer service and they told me they can't honor the double points (from the app) because it's phone booking but he'll check and put me on hold. I waited on the phone for hours and the rep never got back to me until the phone got disconnected. That's a shame Expedia! Fix your app!!!
Poor app over the website 1/5
Trying to cancel a flight, within 24 hours, and the app made this very difficult to complete. Ultimately it takes you to the desktop site which is hard to use on mobile and defeats the purpose of a mobile app.
Please make the mobile app fully functional for primary tasks - it's already stressful when you are adjusting your itinerary at the last minute please don't compound that difficulty with a poorly designed app.

Very limited on features, like limiting hotels when searching. The search by map feature doesn't work well. The app notification continues to tell you that you've arrived at your hotel many hours after you have. I've always liked Expedia but they've really been slacking on keeping up with the times.

That answer the phones. 90 percent of the time it's a language barrier. Please hire people that speak English well. This is the primary language here and apparently it's hard for people to grasp.

Keeps refreshing itself, and is missing many of the basic features of the website. Unlike the apps for most travel sites, you're better off with the website. Looks to me like they don't put enough resources into it. It certainly has the potential to be a better user experience. The interface itself is attractive.

It allows me to book, but not to access my bookings, even though it shows what I recently looked at including hotels I booked. If it does not allow management of bookings already made, it is of very little use to a frequent traveler.

The app works great minus a few things. It's pretty much the same as the website version. I can't see are saved itineraries that haven't been booked yet. Also I wish you could pick your seat on flights, not just preference (aisle, window, middle)

Points not showing up 2/5
Points not showing up on mobile app (which means I can't use points when booking). When I login to the website I have over 7,000 points which equals roughly $46. When I log into the mobile app I only see 1000 points which equals $7 dollars.

Booked hotel drove 6 hours got several messages from Expedia staying no need to confirm your room is ready while I was driving. When I arrived there was no room reserved and no one would help me. Still haven't heard back from customer service! Don't wait your time with Expedia!!

This app was great to track all the stops and bookings on my trip to Hawaii. I had everything in one place and it was up to date. It even had a handy phone number when I had a problem with one part of the trip. I highly recommend it.
I do not like the app any longer and it doesn't give you the options you get using it from the web

I used the app to search and then ultimately book our most recent trip to South Carolina. During the time while we were waiting to go I was able review the cost of the trip, the amenities as well as any other information unneeded at the drop of a hat! I would recommend this app to anyone!

Advertise that booking in the app you can get double points. However, it would not let me complete the transaction in the app and had to do it on the website. Also, not all of the trips show in the itinerary.

This app is a total waste of time. Almost every time I try to use it I have to either go to the Web site or call Expedia direct. The few bookings I made through the Web site all had problems when I got to the destination.

I got on the app to look for a hotel and it would not let me sign in with Facebook. I had used the app before in this way and it worked quite well. I just looked and saw that there was an update in the last few days so something tells me that is why I am having problems. I'm on an iPhone 6s running the most recent iOS.
