    Been looking for a gym workout app that I can take to the gym with me. I thought this was it. I’ve been scrolling through the workout plans and the gym based workouts are all 5 days a week. Really? Who can make it to the gym 5 days a week, unless that is all they are doing? It would be nice if they had some 2 - 3 day gym options in there, with the option to turn the other 2 days into home workouts. The calendar seems pretty inflexible, so I don’t see how to modify the plans manually. Also, as a previous user mentioned, a timer would be nice. I would also like the ability to save my favorite workouts from different trainers in a playlist that way I can have fast access to them in the gym without having to scroll through the calendar of various trainers and try to remember who did what on what day. Until these issues are addressed (or if addressed), I’ll be sticking to my You Tube Playlists.

    I was a track athlete for years and competed at a high level after college I have not done much of anything but a few runs here and there. I’m the kind of person who needs the push and someone to tell me what and when to do! This app does just that and it’s actually a lot harder and more challenging then I could have ever imagined. I love it! Best purchase in a long time, 3 workouts in and I already feel stronger.

    If it weren't for this app, I would be completely lost at the gym. Having access to trainers, a community of app users, and a detailed exercise plan has made this busy full time working mom a workout fanatic. Everything with this app is awesome. If there is anything wrong with the app, you can quickly get tech help and the issue gets resolved almost immediately. Just finished one year of membership and automatically renewed for yet another year!

    I can’t say enough good things about Fitplan! As an avid gym goer for almost 10 years, I thought I knew it all and didn’t need an app to help me train...I WAS SO WRONG! This app is super easy to use, the videos that accompany each exercise are super helpful and there are countless plans to choose from based on your fitness goals and/or level! I HIGHLY recommend Jen Selter’s plans!!!!

    Dope app. Makes it easy to take advantage of different workouts and different workout theories. It is very useful and I will continue to use it. It also allows u to keep track of weight and reps, which is perfect. 2 things that are very anoyying is that the app is consistently freezing and/or rebooting DURING the workout .. not cool ! The other is, in the explosive plan with nabie, I can’t input my times specific through the 100th of a second. Every # counts when it comes to speed so a 4.6 is different from a 4.68. It has a timer built in which is cool but I use my own timer and want to be able to input the specific time in the database. But all in all.. great app. Very useful; especially for your athletes and fitness folks.

    I thought I was downloading just another fitness app. I thought it was going to be just like all the others. I downloaded it with the intention to focus on myself and nothing else. I prefer this app because you don’t have to wonder what you are going to get, you know what you are getting into. You have to expect excellence and push yourself the way the workout is intended. To have tutorials and workouts of all your favorite motivational athletes makes it worth your while and worth subscribing. You will not be disappointed.

    I was looking for an app that makes me feel like I have a personal trainer at home. It’s affordable but since there isn’t any audio and the videos are 10 second clips of how it’s done it’s a little cumbersome to maneuver. I would prefer if there was an audio voiceover at least in the beginning. For that reason I give it 3.5 stars.

    There are so many things you can do with this app. You can track your progress, check calendar, it shows you exactly how many and how to do every single exercise. You can select between many trainers and choose which one is best for you.

    I didn’t know what to expect from this app., Ive been following Michelle Lewin on IG for a while now, and was amazed at how fit & enthused she was in her workout videos. She made it seem desirable and attainable...So, I decided to try FitPlan. Today is my 8th day of my 8 week program. I haven’t seen any results yet but, my body feels stronger than before! One of my favorite things about the workouts is that with each exercise the next rep feels easier. It’s as if my body becomes stronger with each rep, therefore enabling me to add more weight(if I choose to). Overall, my confidence is expanding as I don’t feel intimidated by the moves, instead I’m eager to approach them. Man, I can’t wait to see what my body is going to look like in 6 more weeks!! Regarding the use of the app. I noticed when I tried to workout in the Freestyle section, the app wouldn’t allow me to select how many reps or lbs, therefore not allowing me to record my workout.

    I just recently got the app and I’m obsessed! I tell everyone I know to get it. I have always loved the gym but when I would get there I would almost be clueless on what to do for that day. Now I have it written out for me and I don’t have to wonder around looking for what to do that day. I am hitting muscle groups that I never have in the past and I feel amazing!! Sore but amazing!! It’s sooo worth the money!!

    I have been a loyal and active BeachBody Coach for 7 years, and have completed all their major brand name programs (like P90X, Insanity, PiYo, 21 Day Fix, etc. etc.). However, with their release of BeachBody On Demand last year, I felt myself more frustrated because of all the technology troubleshooting I had to engage in, than actually getting my workout in. It’s frustrating to wake up at 5am, and not have the service that I paid for - to simply work. I cancelled my BOD subscription and opted to try FitPlan - and I am OBSESSED! I love that I can track my weights and reps right inside the app, instead of having to print out a bunch of papers. I love the in-app timer for timed reps. Everything that I think BeachBody On Demand is missing - FitPlan has a *working* solution. The amount of programs offered is AMAZING! I started with Jen Selter’s Home Workout Series and it is making me so sore (good thing!). The thing I love about the workouts is that it is NOT a full streaming video. There’s a short clip on how to properly execute the move, and then you’re on your own to count your reps. I LOVE THAT! With BeachBody videos, I always had to pause, rewind, fast forward, go back - and with it only playing on a small iPhone, it was hard to do that without rewinding too much, or jumping ahead instead of pausing - and then I lose time trying to find my place. BeachBody On Demand is like the cassette tape of workout apps. FitPlan is well thought-out, has a program for every body type, so many amazing trainers to choose from, and the app itself is so easy to use. My favorite part is when the app gives you a little check mark, every time you complete a set or workout. Benchmarks are important for motivation. I also can’t wait to see what my workout is everyday. Everything about it is great. You should just stop reading my review, and go try your 7 days right now and see for yourself. 😁

    I really enjoy it, for not need to carry around a notebook or check a white board. I’m an experienced weight lifter but everybody calls certain movement different names, but it has a video with every movement (Mike O’Hearn).

    I’m on the 3mo plan for $30-someodd dollars and it’s ok. Not seeing any major differences from any other workout apps out there which you can get way cheaper for a one-time fee. I wish there was a little more information on workouts. I’ve been lifting for years but have never done dropsets. I had to google a drop set and found several different ways to do one (some increasing weight, others lowering weight, etc.). The instructions should be more specific and descriptive. There should also be a timer built in. They tell you to take a 60-90 second break between each workout but don’t count down for you. As soon as you enter the weight and rep amounts, a timer should automatically start.. or at least give you an option to start a timer. Also, there isn’t a place to enter notes about your workout. Maybe I started at too low of a weight, say 60lbs, and want to start @ 80 next time increasing by 20lbs per set. There is nowhere to remind myself of that. App is well built but needs some work.

    I start my workout plan with it and i can see how my body is changing every week! There are different trainer and plans that you can choose depend on your goal and needs. But there isn't any cardio plan in the app for using in active rests days, it helps for getting idea and better result.

    I love this app and the workouts are tough. The only thing is sometimes the videos don't work so if your a gym newbie maybe watch the videos before you go but, besides that it's a great app and I love the workouts! :)

    I believe the biggest thing this app brings is motivation. Having everything planned out for you to take that work out of it and holding you accountable to a certain amount of workouts per week is great. It’s great having everything in such an organized manner, as I have used rep tracking apps before that ended up over complicating things. It also helps havin your progress bc when you’re tired and don’t feel like doing it, it reminds of of all the times you’ve pushed through and won

    This app totally lacks in functionality! There is no way to track while doing the workout, no rest timer, nothing to track your progress. There are apps out there that offer more and that are free. Not worth spending $10/month.

    One of the most user friendly workout apps I have ever used. It’s like having a personal trainer on the palm of your hands. Never have to leave the app to look up how to’s for the workouts and it has timers for any timed workout! Highly recommend and worth the money. You’d spend way more money on a real life personal trainer.
