Please add to ionic watch 4/5
By Golf man USA
I’m loving this app and the programs with in the app. The workouts appeal to all fitness levels. The only thing I wish this app could do is to transfer to my ionic watch. The watch comes with a coach but would like to be able to add all these workouts to it, so I don’t need to take my phone with me all the time.
The Best Fitness App Ever. Period. 5/5
As a teenage competitive tennis player aspiring to go pro, having an app as simple and convenient, yet still intuitive and motivational truly helps me achieve my off court goals. Thank you Fitstar!
Fitbit is awesome 5/5
Love the app it’s like having your own personal trainer!for low cost so yeaaaaa love it!
Not free!!! 1/5
I just hate absolutely hate the stupid apps That don’t tell you upfront that you have to pay for them piece of crap waste my time
Chooses the workouts for you depending what shape you're in!!!
Like it but needs more workouts 4/5
For the price it would be nice to have more audio workouts. And to include elliptical, stairs, rowing, and sit down cycling.
I am now fit 5/5
By PoNyGiRl 9876543210
I learned that I am not a strong as I thought so I practiced and now I am stronger than I have been. Even though I am just a teenager I can still be fit
Needs serious improvement 1/5
I’ve been using it since the summer, and growing more and more frustrated. For one, it takes FOREVER to load workouts. No matter if I’m on WiFi or cellular - wait times are at best 10-15 minutes. Today, I had 90 minutes in the gym planning to use the app. I tried to load a 44-minute workout, and it was loading the entire time. It only finished loading when I got home. Ugh!
Functionality-wise, I find the range of workouts to be limited, and customization is severely lacking. For instance, I was recovering from a foot injury, but did not have an option to filter by workouts without cardio or footwork. Also, cannot get a work out to fit your specific duration - have to pick from what’s preprogrammed. Well, when it takes 15 mins to load a session, loading 2 of them to make it a longer session is a ridiculous waste of time.
I won’t be renewing my subscription.
Loving it so far 4/5
I have not used Fitbit Coach very long only about three or four workouts, but so far I am loving it! I love that it mixes up new workouts and it customizes them to me for the things that I struggle with. I love that’s it different each day!
Needs casting 2/5
I had high hopes for this app. But it’s basically a gym membership. You have to pay monthly. But what I don’t like about the most is you can only use the video on the phone. I didn’t see anyway to cast or stream to a device that has a larger screen. It’s not easy to work out while having to stair at your phone.
Can’t use the app 1/5
This app isn’t connecting to my Fitbit app & when I log in on Coach I have to use the email log in and once I do that it prompts me to download the app. I have the app!! It’s very frustrating.
Pretty great, but... 4/5
Up until a few months ago, I was doing Daily Burn workouts. Their monthly payments were far cheaper than a gym membership and their workouts are expansive. Imagine my surprise when I found this app and decided to give it a whirl.
What I like:
-the subscription is inexpensive
-the workout variety is pretty expansive
-the app obviously syncs very well with the base Fitbit app
-you can save your favorite workouts for later
-you can track your progress on specific exercises
-decent music selection during your workout
-the workouts don’t require a ton of equipment
What I wish they had:
-warm ups and cool downs in the workouts; nothing too long, maybe a minute or two?
-more options for the duration of the workouts
This app was a better option for me than Daily Burn, so I cancelled that subscription and got this. Down 25 pounds in two months and counting!
TL;DR - get this app if you like working out and want to save money
Balanced Workout - Fabulous Coaching! 5/5
Excellent, balanced workout tailored to your abilities - and that's the free version! Love it so far!!
I literally redownloaded this app so I could rate it. It’s no good for free workouts. Honestly I’d probably check out YouTube for some great workouts. I mostly wanted yoga ones or maybe a good ab workout for recovery days. Can’t recommend this.
Great for getting back into shape! 5/5
I belong to a gym, but have a long commute and lots of work and extracurricular responsibilities, so I can’t always get there. I was feeling bad about my lack of workouts, but then I started this app and it’s fantastic for working out at home. All I need is my rubber mat and workout clothes and I’m ready to go. You really can’t go wrong with this one for a quick workout.
By Ivery 🙎🏾
This is a good app, however, it is ridiculously that after EVERY SINGLE set, you have to stop to rate it. I'm having to stop way to much just to push continue. I do not like that. There isn't even a way to turn it off!! 🙄🙄
Lost weight 5/5
Combined with the Fitbit this helped me lose weight that I had so much trouble losing for the last 10 years. Easy to use and love that it automatically syncs with Fitbit.
Upgrading to Premium 5/5
There are some days that I need to mix it up beyond my normal workout routine. Fitbit Coach has filled the need for me. I have done several of the free workouts and the workouts have been challenging. I work up a sweat and the next day I can feel it! I am really considering the premium upgrade.
Love Fitbit Coach!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Absolutely amazing app. The only thing is to do most things you need the premium version, which costs money. But other than that, awesome job, Fitstar!
Just started it and already love it 5/5
I started off on the 7 minute workout and I went over a few of the moves 2. I can definitely feel the burn. I suggested this app to a few people already!
Why do I need a login and password for this? 1/5
It’s a coaching app for gods sakes. It’s not a banking app. I don’t know if this app is good or not. I’m not bothering to set up another username and password. Get real people. Are people really interested in stealing my workout regimen? Sheesh.
Why Premium?! 1/5
Why would you have a premium service?? It doesn’t make sense. You shouldn’t charge people to have a work out plan with you because they already have your product!!!!
Be Aware 4/5
By Robin Ross
I just purchased this and find that much of what you se advertised in the App is actually Premium content. So be aware and prepared to be milked one again. Then again $40 bucks for a year is sooooo much cheaper than any gym membership anywhere on the planet that it’s probably well worth it - if you use it.
Gettin back in it 5/5
I am 6mo postpartum and these workouts are awesome for getting back in shape.
Great app 5/5
By Be ba boo
Super easy to use. Very good explanations, demonstrations an progression to more intense workouts.
Needs new material. 4/5
I love everything Fitbit, but I’m hoping they decide to add more workouts (especially treadmill) to their app soon.
Great Free Workouts 5/5
The workout regimens are terrific and adapt to keep me challenged, yet not discouraged. It also has a lot of free workouts so you don't have to join the pay program--just select the menu option (the three horizontal lines at the upper left corner), select "Workouts", then "BodyWeight Workouts". There's at least ten free selections each day. I'll wait until I improve my stamina before I join the unlimited workout (pay) program. I'm loving it. It really is like having your own personal trainer.
Changing fitness level not supported. 1/5
As a triathlete, I used “Fitstar” in the past to supplement my training. It worked well and I progressed in my levels of achievements and as an athlete.
I stopped using it after being hit by a car. Four years, numerous surgeries and a massive weight gain, I am finally ready to start my training again. FitStar is now Fitbit Coach, so I sign up for an annual subscription thinking it will adapt to my now, much lower level of fitness.
Wrong, it does not adapt or let you re-assess your level of fitness. The exercises it recommends are based on old levels of achievements, even after years of being inactive on the site. I am unable to perform the exercises as they exacerbate the ongoing pain I have. I wish I had known that the program can’t adjust or allow a reset and retesting if abilities when your fitness level changes due to inactivity or an injury.
Loading screen 1/5
By Secret storer
I sit on the loading screen for 5 min before realizing it is not loading at all. Ruins the energy i have going for me when I’m working out. Fix fix fix
Love it! 4/5
I love all of the workouts and I have the yearly subscription. The only problem I've had with it is when I bought the subscription it didn't work! But after talking to a representative I was able to email them a copy of my receipt and got it all straighten out within about 20 minutes. Overall love it though, and has a great music selection
Great if you need basic directions on a workout from home.
7 minutes 5/5
For someone who is new and just getting their toes wet into the fitness world this is a great app. The 7 work out minute is just enough and pushes you the right amount. I love beginning able to grade the difficulty of the work out and it adjust accordingly. Not sure how it is for those who already work out on a regular basis but for those beginning your journey, good luck! This is great.
Not worth the price 2/5
I would not have purchased this app if I knew how much it cost. Although workouts seem Ok, I can find better ones from Utube. Also, my version of Apps did not show any price so I thought it was free considering I have a synced Fitbit. So frustrated when I got the receipt and it was almost $50.00. Is this charged every month? If, so totally not worth it.
TV casting? 5/5
I have Fitbit HR2 and I came across this app. This is just a great app. Thanks for this. Do you have TV cast option so that exercising will be way easy. Thanks
Not worth getting 3/5
I had this app for two days and it is already horrible. It makes you pay for so much stuff and it is so slow at uploading. FitStar is way better and I wish it was still FitStar.
All about the $$ 1/5
Just removed the app from all my devices. Don’t like that you spend over $100 on a Fitbit and you now have to pay for the “coach”. I’ll stick with apps that have a lot more for the money or even free videos online or just go back to walking and running. When my Fitbit needs replacing I’ll just do without. It hasn’t been worth the money either. Very disappointing!!
Awesome workouts!! 5/5
Get it asap!!
By Rosmery Nunez
It is like having a personal trainer, better... you can have you own schedule.
Horrible integration 1/5
I purchased the premium coaching; however when I went to access a workout, the app indicated I needed to upgrade to premium...which I already had. I even tried to pay for the subscription again and it wouldn’t let me. So now I’m out the annual subscription, don’t have access to the workouts I wanted and can’t even purchase it again if I wanted to!
Great workouts and video. Doesn’t synch with Fitbit well 4/5
By Michael Trice
The workouts are solid and cover a wide range which of fitness. Instruction and workout videos are easy to follow and use little battery. It’s a top notch workout tool. That said, it doesn’t communicate directly with Fitbit app and my Alta rarely detects the body weight workouts.
Easy to use 4/5
This app has lots of videos personalized for you and your abilities. The variety of workout types (running, cardio, strengthening) is very beneficial. There is a range of times from 10 minutes to over an hour. It was very functional, easy to navigate, the videos have rest time and the moves are explained well.
This app helped me get in shape and lose weight. Thanks. The one thing I have to say though is it would be nice if there were more free workouts
Fitbit coach 5/5
The Fitbit coach is good when the weather outside is bad so you can work out inside to less some wight that is not needed on yourself and to help get in good shape
3 years in... 5/5
After moving back home from undergrad to begin graduate school, I realized that I was not in shape. I never looked it, but when I found myself being out of breath from walking up a flight of stairs I knew I needed to make a change. I began by running. I had a treadmill at home and I went from having asthma attacks at under 1 mile to running 14 miles - no inhaler needed. However, I realized that running wasn’t a complete workout and no matter how many miles I ran... I still could not do a single push up. Being from a rural community a 25 minute drive to a gym was going to require more motivation than I could muster, especially when I prefer to workout at 5:00 AM. So in 2015, I discovered what was previously FitStar. It was hard. The very first workout I did to determine my fitness level was incredibly difficult. My asthma I thought I had eliminated kicked in and I didn’t think I could possibly ever follow what Tony was doing. I was wrong. I stuck with it and I can now easily do push ups and even a few pull ups. I remember dreading star skaters, now I look forward to those while dreading tuck jumps. Even after FitBit took over I still enjoy the app, although I do miss Tony. I am looking forward to using the outdoor run workouts once the snow clears. Honestly though, this app took away all the excuses I had to not work out and I can’t wait to see my accomplishments after year four.
I’m in LOVE! 5/5
This may be a little premature but I’m in love with this app! Today is the first time I used it after just getting my first Fitbit yesterday but it’s exactly what I was looking for to get me moving and on the road to a healthier lifestyle! I’m so excited to see what else this app can do for me!
It’s fine if you have the money to pay for premium every month but, if you don’t there’s basically nothing you can do.
Not much to do without premium
Download it! You won’t regret it! 5/5
I used this app when it was still Fitstar and liked it then, but now it’s even better! Having short workouts lets me squeeze in a pump sesh here and there throughout the day, and it keeps track for you of how many reps you’re doing, if it was hard or easy, etc. If you like working out at home or at your apartment’s gym, I highly recommend it. Two thumbs up!
Not worth downloading 2/5
Only two workouts seem to be free and no way to gain more with out paying monthly or annual amount.
Great if your too lazy to go to the gym 5/5
The title says it all. I’m just getting back and I’m just way too lazy to go to the gym. Completing the workouts will hopefully give me the energy to go back to the gym but for now this will do. Hey it’s way better then nothing.
