SWEAT AND LOSSING WEIGHT 5/5
Good app enjoying the Fitbit products thanks
Love this workout tailored just for me! I get the advantage of working out in my own home that fits my time frame not the gym's! Definitely recommend this app
Massive bugs 1/5
I have been trying to use the Fitbit Coach but every time I log in with my Fitbit account, it asks me to download the Fitbit Coach (ummm that’s the app I’m in?) and than starts bouncing back and forth between my Fitbit app and the Coach app before finally ending up at a code sheet.....seems to have some broken links/bugs. I’ve tried deleting and downloading but with the same result.
BEST APP 5/5
By Lily the plant 1717
I just started using this app and it really helps me continue my workout and you can choose exactly what you want to do. There is someone that talks to you to keep you motivated and there is a variety of workouts
It would be 5 stars but... 3/5
How is this app not not compatible with ios11 yet. Tried many times to download to an X with ios11 and it wouldn't. Yet was able to download to iPad running ios10.
A couple slight improvements could be useful with app.
Otherwise, great device, Blaze, and good app.
Excellent lunch time workouts 5/5
By Get that workout in!
I use this app during lunch and get a really good workout, huffing and puffing and getting that heart rate up. It’s perfect!
Great pace & instructions 5/5
I downloaded the app today & I really enjoyed it. You can choose from different instructors & suit the workouts to your ability. I got a good workout in 20 minutes.
It’s a good app. It really motivates and teaches how to do it right. For those who don’t do it right. Like me. I already lost 30 lbs since march-nov/2017
I can't even open the app -- 1/5
I have downloaded -- deleted it -- downloaded it again -- the app has a little blue dot (meaning recently updated) -- I have IOS 10.3.3 running on my phone -- there's still a problem -- frustrated since my Charge2 arrived yesterday and I am eager to get things moving 😔
Love this app 5/5
Awesome workouts cheaper than beach body but I feel like I get just as good of a workout and it is already easily synced with my Fitbit. Less work for me.
Great app missing Apple Watch 5/5
Just wanted to say that I absolutely love the app and the entire Fitbit ecosystem. You guys do excercise tracking and now workouts so absolutely well. I had to leave the ecosystem a little because my blood cgm works on the Apple watch which is an absolute win. Hate it because I lost the Fitbit world, please bring it to the Apple watch!! I'd pay $5 or whatever the premium membership is to have the Fitbit coach on my Apple watch.
The Apple activity and workout system is rudimentary at best and it would benefit greatly from bringing the Fitbit world into. Also you could bride the app gap so that Apple watchers can be integrated into Fitbit. Just a thought. Please!!! Need the Fitbit couch on my Apple watch ASAP!
Love Love Love! 5/5
I burned adequate calories and had an amazing workout. This is perfect for rainy days, days when you want to stay home, or days you don’t want to go to the gym. This is amazing & highly recommended!
Go at your own pace, love it!
I am new to cardio. Like the exercise and experience so far. Can feel and see my body benefiting from it.
Decent app. But not worth paying for. 2/5
App is ok if you're will to pay for the variety. Free trial is only for 1 workout a week.
Love this app 4/5
I use this app almost daily and love the workouts. My only complaint is that the audio coaching skips routinely. It isn’t stopping me from using the app, but it is very distracting. Fix that and this is a five star rating.
Love it❤️😍😍❤️... It help me stay motivated 💣💣
Don’t recommend 1/5
Paid for subscription but app didn’t unlock.
Contacted customer support and was told they can see it’s not unlocked but wait 8 hours. 24 hours later still not unlocked! Waste
Needs Chromecast 1/5
Said it before, I’ll say it again, this app needs Chromecast support. No one wants to be looking at their tiny phone screen when doing a workout. The walk/run coach is interesting, but would like a sample workout before I subscribe.
Great app! But.... 4/5
I really like this app it definitely motivates me during a workout and shows me new workouts! However I wish that it synced to my Fitbit app and wish that there was a way to SEARCH for a workout! This way I can easily find what I’m in the mood for :)
Just a few things 4/5
So I do love this app, great works, great variety! I love the added walking workouts! I do have a few things that Sorta drive me nuts
1. When you try to change the music is pauses the workout
2. Every time I pulled down to check the time it pauses the workout and the music so I had to restart the music pausing the workout again
3. I really want to work out to my own jams!
Otherwise love the app and the workouts. Just not the music.
Remove negative worded music or give instrumental only option 1/5
I’m glad I only signed up for a month on this app. Negative worded music isn’t what I want to listen too while working out/walking. Someone should review all of the songs and remove songs with negative words, like “one less problem without you”.
A free download is worthless without even a free trial or free features. Does not allow you to check out even one workout before shelling out $40. I am deleting immediately.
Running sessions are gone 1/5
I'm so disappointed the free running sessions are gone and I have to pay extra to get those sessions. Deleted app as I was about to work out on the treadmill.
Great support 5/5
I was having problems logging into Fitbit coach app on my iPhone 7 Plus as the app will not load. I deleted the app reinstalled it and rebooted my phone but I had the same problem. I tried using wi-fi and cellular data and had over 15 GB of free space but same problem. I contacted support and after two days of troubleshooting Fitbit coach works great. I use my desktop computer to login to Fitbit coach and some how it unfroze my account and now Fitbit coach works great.
Be careful 1/5
I'd give it ZERO stars for set up. I use a different email for my Fitbit than I do for my APPLE ID. Result ? Fitbit doesn't recognize my purchase even tho everytime I click on premium , it sends me to my Apple subscriptions which I paid for. Not cool.
Not developed by runners 2/5
As a 5 year user of Fitbit i was so excited for the Fitbit coach app and am so disappointed, i am canceling immediately.
This is an awful running app!
Nothing for starting out runners ( only medium and hard options)
No scheduling option
No Training or goal setting
No during run stats
No alert for distance or time
The timeline is unreadable
No on screen lock, so now way to look at during run.
No improvement of the original Fitstar.
No integration or combo training
No way to gauge level of work outs
No Warmup or cool down.
No scheduling option
No Training or goal setting
No free running workouts 1/5
By Little Angel590
With the new update there aren’t any free running workouts which is what I used this app for before. I figured that since I have a fitbit this would be a great free app...no longer useful for me unless I get premium.
Really disappointing 1/5
By So what crystal
You used to be able to use some programs free and have access to everything if you paid. However, since they’ve updated there’s only a few programs available. None of the run/walk section is free. If I’ve already paid for a Fitbit, why do I have to pay for the workouts?
Simply awful setup 1/5
I clicked to download this app from within Fitbit. Then tried to login - would not let me and sent me into a loop of denial / issues / go elsewhere. Awful.
I love Fitbit and the apps but it needs more weight training features. I am a amateur bodybuilder and would love to see that.
I’ve lost 10lbs in the first 2 months. I use it to workout 3-4 days a week. Amazing! Never going back.
A lot better, but has so much more potential. 4/5
I went for a run yesterday with the new audio coach and was both impressed and saddened. I don't have a Fitbit yet, so I tracked the run with my Apple watch. I use the mobile tracking on the Fitbit app until I can pick up an a Ionic.
Basically it is a super motivating audio track that plays in the background. I did the "Going Steady" outdoor run. It is very chatty and helps you keep focus on things like form, mental toughness, and how to relax and feel your body as it changes through the run. This was so great and I loved it. I ran 3.1 miles in the 40min and felt great afterwards.
What the app needs are running programs. Personalized training towards goals like 5k, 10k, half and full marathons that give you feedback on Pace, heart rate and exersion along with the motivating speech would be the nail in all other running apps. It would also be nice to get told when the half way point was so I can run out and back.
I look forward to using more of the workouts and seeing the app improve in time. Great work to Fitbit and the coach team. Thanks for your dedication to make this much improvement over the old app.
Very Personalized with Options 5/5
FitStar AKA Fitbit Coach is a really great app for workouts personalized for you. Each week they give you workouts based on info they received from your first workout. They aren’t too hard but are efficient. I recently got the subscription which I highly recommend if it is an app you want to use as your main fitness app, which gives you more options with what program you do, like Get Lean or Get Strong.
Subscribed but everything are still locked. 3/5
I subscribed within the iOS app and the programs are still locked.
Doesn’t work 1/5
Tried to log in with my Fitbit account and it’s just a loop between apps where it never actually lets you log in. I entered in my login info and it said I had to download the Fitbit coach app...I was IN the Fitbit coach app. Not sure how I’m supposed to use it if I can’t log in.
Not a Free App 2/5
I figured since I had a fit bit, this app would be free for me to use. The problem is you have to be a premium member to access the workouts. So while the app is free, you have to pay $40 a year or eight dollars a month to access the workouts. I guess I just found that disingenuous sense it was free to download and I have the watch. Oh well.
How to log in 1/5
How do you log in? I put my email in and go nowhere
Fitbit lost it. They got too greedy 1/5
With your completion you should be thinking how to keep your customers and get more not how to push it away. You people are out of control. You have no idea what deals real personal trainers can cut at the gym, how easy it is to find millions of workouts for free on YouTube. The only thing that’s going for apps is that it’s a click away. I would consider making one time purchase that will not be higher than $15 but anything occurring I don’t trust. Screw you people! Next time I’ll go with other company less greedy
Doesn’t work. 1/5
I was excited to try the new version, but I can’t get past the login. I chose “sign in with Fitbit” and got a message that I already have an account. Of course I do. That’s why I chose sign in with Fitbit. The app told me to sign in with email instead. When I did this, it just kept looping me back to the sign in screen with no message (no “account doesn’t exist” or “password incorrect” indication. Just the loop.)
200 Sessions Sweated 5/5
By colorado outdoor girl
I started with Fitstar when it was Tony Gonzalez’s app. Loved it then, but love it more now. Unlike the previous reviewer, I find it is VERY responsive to feedback. It gives me fewer reps or shorter times until I can complete the exercise, then it moves me up. I’m on the “strength” program, and I have gotten so much stronger since I started with the app. When I started, I could barely do star crawls. Now I do them for 1:45 at a fast pace. As a busy working mom and wife, I appreciate that I can do the workouts anywhere without equipment. Goodbye to all that wasted time traveling to/from the gym. It’s very user friendly, and gives me a challenging, full body workout in 25-45 minutes, with good rotation on my primary muscle groups so I never feel like I’m overworking my 40-year old joints. For two years now, I’ve stuck with it, I’ve never been bored, and I’m in better shape than I was in my 20s. Excited about the new updates with the Fitbit Coach app. Keep it going Fitstar team!
Love it! 5/5
Great flexible workout for all levels.
Where are the treadmill workouts? 2/5
I decided to try this again. I was excited to see there where sessions for the treadmill and running under the Beta. I went in to plan my week and they are no longer there. Super disappointing.
Turn off ratings? 3/5
I like this app but I don't want to take the time to rate every single exercise. Can I turn this feature off somehow? It's really annoying.
I Loved It Until the "Update" 2/5
Dont update this app if you havent since the new year. The free version used to be so good- it remembered what workout you did last and suggested, for example, an ab workout if you last did legs. It also had a good selection of workouts for free. Now it does not suggest a workout, so you have to rifle thru them to try to find out that doesnt include lots of moves you did in your last workout. Wish i hadnt updated it. It's a scam to try to get you to buy fitstar for $40/year.
I'm also noticing that some of the workout timings seem way off. I did the Goodmorning workout, which is supposed to be 20 min. After about 25 min, I looked and I was only 2/3 of the way through the workout.
Updated: Less and less workouts available with each update. You'd think that after paying $200 for a fit bit, that you'd get access to a bunch of free workouts and functionality with your fit bit.
Me encanta 5/5
Soy novata y me ha ayudado mucho a agarrar condición física otra vez!!!
Good start up! 5/5
By Moms ok
Just starting working out after a 5 year span. Good start up! Works out all major muscle groups and all that up and down to do standing vs laying exercises alternately also works you out.
Super flexible to meet my needs 5/5
By Mandee's iTunes
It's great that it starts by having 5 different programs to choose from, depending on your fitness goals and time. Then it assess your current fitness so you don't burn yourself out in the first session. I have given feedback many times and seen improvements. What I love most is that I can also pick and choose other workouts, including running, walking, and treadmill, as well as 'freestyle' workouts. Fitstar has made a huge difference in my life, helping me to get healthier and sustain my efforts!
Haven't worked out in 5 years and had 3 babies in between!
I can work out and still make lunch for the kids at the same time!
Nice but needs improvements 3/5
I like the app but I like to listen to audiobooks when I work out and the app doesn't allow my book to play in the background, it shuts down any music besides what the app offers.
