The app is well designed, both graphically and functionally, except for one issue which all of my troubleshooting efforts have failed to resolve: the “Have a TV Provider” screen refuses to work properly. I press Yes, get a pop up asking if I want to use my optimum account, and then nothing. It sits there at the Yes or No and does absolutely nothing. If I force quit the app because I got tired of waiting after several minutes, and then try to watch the current episode of Gotham, I’m sent back to the Have a TV Provider screen. Pressing Yes hangs the app. Pressing no puts me back to the list of shows, with a padlock under Gotham. Either way, I can’t watch most of the shows I want.

This app needs a settings menu! The biggest issue I have with trying to watch videos is the quality. Either it tries to run full HD and kills my data or it drops the quality so much I can't even read the titles letters. You don't even have to create a menu. Just give me a little button in the screen that lets me choose the quality when I'm trying to watch something.
Love available shows, but app is frustrating with chromecast 3/5
I just spent an hour and a half trying to watch a 45 minute show through my chrome cast device. Every time I hit the 15 second rewind it would go back to my starting point of the show. In other words, I had started watching a show at the 15 minute mark but whenever I tried to loop back, it would loop all the way back to that 15 minute mark. The only way I finally figured out to make it work was to stop chrome casting and watch it on my iPad or iPhone so I could slide the show forward manually then start casting again. However every time I did that, if I needed to loop it back 15 seconds he would go back to the last starting point. Extremely frustrating and irritating and will be the main reason I won't use this app with my chrome cast. It will just be easier to watch the shows on demand. It's a shame really because there are some great shows I'd love to catch up on that I can't on demand.

iPhone 6S plus on sprint.
Downloaded to check out Orville. Tried four times, first time gave up before any video. Second, third and fourth times let it run video was blurry bad quality. Gave up.
Constant Crashing 1/5
iPad and software are up to date, but the app either fails to open or crashes shortly after. Loading wheel spins and spins when a show is selected, then I'm kicked back to iPad home screen. As XFinity app doesn't offer all episodes (some are in home only and others are mysteriously absent), this means I simply can't watch FOX shows period. Can't stand this app...so frustrating.

Downloaded the app to watch Gotham without commercials my iPhone 7 plus got to hot setting up my account and when I got the iphone cooled down and open up the app to use it my iPhone got to hot Again My iphone has never gotten hot like this. I deleted the app now my iPhone is fine

Nothing happens when I try to add Directv Now as my provider. I cannot add a provider.
3 stars for all the animation at open. Please remove this slow animation. I just want to access my content and having to wait for animations to finish every time I open the app is getting way too annoying.

This app used to be spotty, sometimes just not casting to my chromecast randomly. But for the past few months it does not cast whatsoever. I have deleted and redownloaded several times, cleared cookies on my phone, you name it. Tried everything on a subreddit and nothing. FIX ITTTTTTT

The app has been significantly updated since I used it last. It looks good but it's now useless. I am trying to catch up on Lethal Weapon epis before the new season starts and it will not load the epi for viewing. It just gives me the eternal swirling circle of death. I will keep trying but please resolve, if possible.

Shows keep freezing, then you must restart the app to unfreeze. Beautiful design, great user interface, but functionality lacks. After restarting you will either be forced to have to start from the beginning of your show again, or be forced into creating a profile and surrender your email and other personal info, which by this point in 2017 is pretty lame on FOX's part to say the least. Let's just make sure I understand this, I need a network provider to sign in. Once signed in and you piggy back on my network, I'm still subjected to watch your commercials and interactive ads, and when your app freezes while watching our shows, you want us to create a profile just to resume watching where we were interrupted. LAME... very lame indeed. Your development team should be ashamed. : (

This app won't cast correctly. It gets stuck trying to play ads from iPad and just plain quits and crashes when trying to cast from iPhone.
Raised from one to three for quick developer response. Rest of app is satisfactory.

I just wanna watch Ep2 of The Orville which some genius decided to replace with stupid football. Nothing changes at Fox huh? So anyway I download this app, unlocked with my provider, hit play and cast and... black screen. Nice job guys. Don't bother replying to this review with your copy n pasted "developer response" - just please get the Chromecast functionality working. You've known about it for months. It's not complicated. The cast feature of this app is broken. Please fix it. Thank you.

It's an iPad from 2015 and will let me down load at a lesser iOS update but then refuses to work unless I update it. It's a catch 22. Shame on Apple and fox now

Why create an app that requires upgrades just to show new shows that have aired. So I have to wait for the upgrade before I can watch the new series? The app takes forever to load on my phone which is anywhere from 10 minutes to never. Please fix.
Crashes constantly. Mostly during commercial breaks but a few times in the middle of a show. Useless until crashes are fixed. Uninstalling.

I love this app so much. The only problem I've ever really had is that with my favorite shows, it only lets you watch the most recent season. But otherwise, it's good!
