Pass. I wanted a schedule this isn't it 1/5
By Big D Guitars
I am so confused by this. I started a workout on Monday. Tell me what to do on Tuesday... this isn't it.
Too many screens on what to purchase and when. I saw this somewhere saying it would do what I wanted for free but this isn't it.
Disappointed with this.
VOLUME SETTINGS 1/5
By Evan customer
I would like to give five stars to the app, but I find it incredibly annoying that there are no volume settings for all the in-app cues. They cues are VERY LOUD, and disruptive of any other audio one is listening to while working out. I would like to be able to turn off the audio cues, countdowns etc, or at least make them quieter so they don't disrupt the other audio I'm listening too.
They will bill a renewal no matter what!!! 1/5
I cancelled my subscription mid year last year, but they just charged me $135 in February for another year, even after reaching out to customer support!! Do not use, as you will be charged for a renewal, even if you cancel. Very unprofessional! The company is actively stealing money!! Scandalous!!!
Coach rules! 5/5
This is the only exercise program I’ve been able to adhere to for 60 (!) weeks straight. It changed my perception of my own strength. Can't recommend Freeletics enough!
Great start 4/5
By PANIC ITS TYLOR
I just started with the coaching version of this app. I love that it takes all the guess work out of what you need to do I order to get results. All you need to do is bring your best effort to the sessions.
You get what you put in 5/5
High intensity interval training that focuses on the entire body but also develops the core; the base for all workout.
Good but... 3/5
WAY Too many screens in between each exercise I don’t want to record notes about every single thing I do about my workout I just want to quickly move to the next exercise they could probably cut half of the screens and clicks that are currently in between each exercise and make it a much more seamless experience. Otherwise I do feel like I get a pretty good workout from the routines.
Great Toning App 4/5
I am really enjoying the quick results I get from this app. The exercises are targeted and the coach organized workouts are effective. I just wish it had a screen to graphically track your goals and progress toward meeting them.
Committed? This app is a great partner. 5/5
Freeletics is a great tool for anyone going towards health. It has helped me a lot in my journey towards health. If you are committed, it’s the best app out there.
The do their work with excellence; from the videos to the workouts to always improving, Freeletics is a solid company.
One of the coolest things is meeting people who are in it and do Freeletics too!

Worst customer service; and exercise app 1/5
By Cloudy views
Cancelled subscription as I tried several of these apps, and this one wasn’t great.
The Nike app is free, and tons better - with the ability to sort by type of workout and time you have.
Despite cancelling they continued to charge my account, and refused to refund my money.
It is a complete scam; don’t sign up for this.
Nike train club app is way better not even close 1/5
This app was half thought out and disorganized. Much better info out there I’m an advanced lifter I bench 315+ squat over 400 so I do know what I’m talking about.
Good not great 3/5
Mixed feelings about this app. On the plus side it seems the exercises are well thought out and will yield results in time. Intense but gratifying.
If in the description you say no equipment necessary, then why do you suddenly introduce a pull up bar? This is basic no? You say no equipment it should mean no equipment.
It’s annoying there is no Apple Watch companion app. These are always very useful.
Good technique is emphasized which is great, but every time you play an exercise demonstration video an annoying background music plays. This drives me crazy - specially if you are listening to your own music. The default setting should be muted!!!
Some exercises are demoed without having to play a video while others are not. All should be demoed in the background.
Sometimes the app requests feedback after a single exercise which is great but sometimes a whole sequence of different exercises go bye before feedback is required. How are you supposed to say exercise A was great but exercise B I couldn’t do?
So too many issues in my opinion. I got the 3 month subscription and I very much doubt I will renew.
So far, it’s great 4/5
Really good workouts, and the difficulty increases/decreases based on previous exercises. It has a nice variety of moves, and a simple, intuitive interface.
The only thing missing is a Watch app so I don’t have to keep looking at my phone constantly when I’m at the gym.
Awsome so far 5/5
Great app workouts are explained, the coach is highly recommended but is free without it, I’ll try the coach when there’s a special hahaha recommended already feeling the burn
Beware cancellation and customer service issues 1/5
Beware - Coach subscription ($90) renews without a reminder, and there is no option to receive a refund. Customer service is unhelpful / very poor. Company is just trying to trap cancelling customers for another year.
NOT FREE AT ALL 1/5
By non hypocrite
FREE-letics???? Are you kidding me?? More like 89.99-letics...It gives you one poot of a workout then asks for your credit card! Hippocrites!! DONT GET THIS APP
Always promot to subscribe to coach. I am already a subscriber. 2/5
I had a subscription for 12 momths. Meanwhile, I always get prompt to subscribe to coach again and again.
Love this program! 4/5
By Av8r Dave
I’ve been using Freeletics for just over a year. I love the variety and the challenge. No two days are the same. Two things I’d like to see 1) being to “deload” a week if I miss a week or two to acclimate back into it. I’m 44 and I can’t just rebound like I used to. 2) be able to access the warm up and cool down portions separately from a workout. On my rest days, I’d still like to perform these movements to stay limber.
Simply put, if you do t use it why charge you 1/5
By The Alfy
I haven't used the app for over five months. I requested a cancellation and refund and they said they can't refund me. Honestly this is basic customer service. If your customer has NOT used your service WHY THE HELL would you charge them!? Anyway, that's my rant....
Bad design 1/5
I downloaded the set of apps and opened Bodyweight first. I used Google to sign up, when I went to the other apps though it had no google sign in option, so I effectively have to make two accounts to use them, if only I had used Facebook instead.
Why offer google as a signup on one if you can’t use it anywhere else.
Free - not free! 1/5
Free, but have to pay for a subscription so it’s not free - I could call Netflix free with that description. Tons of apps are free to download but require a subscription - nobody advertises them as “free” and calls them “free”letics. Dumb!!
Very little content. Exercise plans aren’t fun. Tries to lock you into a long-term subscription, but you can’t view or sample the subscription content before hand. Tries to convince you to link your Facebook (probably to extract your personal data and friends). Tries to get you to enable location services (why not just allow zip code? Why do they need my precise location? Hmmm.) Oh, and there’s no apparent way to delete your account.
By abodi basha
Totally new system yet effective.
Great app. Great program. Great value 5/5
Only been using this app for a few days but it has been great so far. I feel like the app really helps me to push towards an obtainable goal every day, even if it seems out of my comfort zone. The personalized coach asks questions to lay out a personalized set of exercises. It works around your schedule. Combined with the nutrition app this is the best planned exercise program I have seen.
Too expensive 1/5
Love the app, but the paid version is way too expensive.
Great app to keep a routine but... 3/5
By ( aog )
The app gives a great set of workouts and keeps you moving and sweating. There are different types of exercise for the same area of the body so no boring session at all.
A few suggestions though:
1. Include a button where the session could be paused in case of something happening (door rang, phone call, bathroom break) especially for those workouts that are timed.
2. Add more areas in the limitations section, for instance there is nothing for shoulders or wrists.
3. Is there a plan to have a more interactive couching? Chat for instance?
I don’t if the feedback at the end of each session is read. It would be good to know and get a response on it too.
App crashed and lost all my history 1/5
By El Raton Juan Carlos
App suddenly crashed and lost all my history of workouts. Now is not getting back up, I even deleted it and downloaded back again. I’m afraid I will have to set up my profile all over again after more than 50 weeks working out.
Awesome workout plans that can be done in less than 20 minutes or 7 minutes to get the exact benefits needed with a gym membership!
Not user friendly 3/5
It has been a year now. The app is very effective for fat cutting. I use it for my cutting phase. If you want to build muscle, do weight training instead.
I have been training with this app for almost a year now. The training program is undoubtedly tough but very effective. And the result is real. However, the app itself is not very intuitive, so you have to learn all the moves and techniques before doing a workout. Otherwise, you have to interupt the session and go back to view the videos. Another downside is that the Couch 4.0 is a little easier. It does not push you to the limit as it used to do. It is getting boring after the changes. I love the God workouts better.
Good app for busy people 5/5
Get the coach, it is a bit pricey but very good if you don’t have the time to drive to the gym. Any place great for doing the workouts, I do most on my garage or outside porch. The results are noticeable in short period of time you will see your body changing, but the most important thing about doing all the workouts as they recommend is one gets in a very good shape really fast. Keep up the good work and please develop the app for Apple Watch.
Freeletics athlete 4Free!! 5/5
So, I've had free latex for the last year and a half… And I am about level 38 as of right now. And, what I can say is that it is an excellent app I use it in conjunction with other regular bodyweight workouts. And I've only used the free version, which consists of 10 workouts. For which I've done everyone except Zeus… this is a highly stellar app, for which I would highly advise you take advantage of. Even if you just use the free version, like me. I would like to buy the full membership. But just don't have a lot of money. So, long story short, I would highly suggest this app!! ;)
Well done 5/5
This app has worked very well for me and I appreciate the work they put in to making it accessible, motivating and specific to me!!
Great for a busy lifestyle 4/5
This app has been one of the greatest tools for exercise that I’ve ever used! Have been working out consistently with it for 13 weeks now! I love the results and I love that it is simple to use and doesn’t require equipment other than the occasional chair or pull-up bar. Also, most of the workouts are between 25 and 45 minutes which is so helpful for my busy lifestyle! Even with how short the workouts are, they are really hard if you’re doing them honestly and following the counsel given by the coaching program. I highly recommend the coach. It’s pricey but nowhere near what a gym membership would be. I just wish there was an Apple Watch app! (Hint hint) All in all I love this app and I’m looking forward to using it for a long time!
Keep crashing and loosing my workout after I’m finished. 3/5
By Ami shapiro
Doesn’t keep track of all my workouts
Don’t buy not worth the time or money!
Very annoying how you are forced to stretch even when you don't have time. Some exercises don't have a
No equipment option and you can't skip them. Very unreliable
Renewal can’t access coach now 5/5
When I go to renew subscription on app I get an error message that shows “Restoring Failed” auto renew for $80 and can’t access it is very frustrating. Waiting to hear back
Great HIIT Fitness App 5/5
Anyone can come up with these excercises but these guys have pulled key elements for improving fitness fast setting achievable goals that increase intensity and workload while making sure the user gets feedback as well as using input for a virtual coach. A+++
Love it 5/5
By Hoppy monk
This app lets me do a full body workout anywhere at anytime. It's awesome.
I've been going to the gym for over a year now, but this got me sweating. I recommend it.
On track and has good room to grow 3/5
The creators have done very good work with the exercise sequencing, no doubt. I am not a pro at sequences so I guess they are because the fit is just right and you can add , remove reps as you feel comfortable. Therefore I am confident I will develop a good physique in time & with consistency while also following the given instructions. Good job on the unisex trainers and exercises.
Now, what I don't like is that I can't play the training videos while in the middle of the session. I have to cancel my session to watch the video and then restart my session. Although once you restart you can always go to where you left off. But still.
Next, when I subscribe for training + nutrition , why does the nutrition have to be a separate app ? Also , why is there no indicator to being a subscriber vs a free customer ? When I downloaded the nutrition app, I was asked to login and I hesitantly used the Exercise apps login. Once I had access, I was confused if I needed to resubscribe on the new app.
So please hire good UX / UI folks and work on the 'between the cracks' stuff because you've got something good going but customers must be baby sat with because we aren't all born body builders.
Good Job thus far but I'll give you my money for these 3 months. If no improvements then I'm sure there is another hundred coming my way.
Good workouts 4/5
Great workout, good advice. The app is a little difficult to use at first and there are not a lot of instructions. it is easier when you sign up for coaching which I did last week. So far, l love the work outs using body weight only.
Great app, decent customer service 4/5
UPDATE: I contacted Freeletics again (after the first time) expressing my disappointed and was offered a complete refund. I have updated my review to 4/5 stars to reflect this.
This is a great app in terms of design and user interface. But be warned: Freeletics offers poor customer service. If you are on a subscription basis, you will be charged anytime on the last day or your subscription (rather than the following day). Despite contacting their team less than an hour after this charge and explaining that I could not use their app for the next few months due to difficulties with travel plans overseas, I was told it was "against their policy" and they would not refund me. I had a tremendous experience with the app previously and was planning on returning to freeletics once I was again stateside, but they have lost a customer. I will be filing a dispute claim with my debit card because this is not only absurd (it was less than an hour after the charge) but also extremely disappointing. Don't use freeletics if you want a quality customer service experience.
Best app available 5/5
This is the best app for trainning in the market. Also, with time the app is kind of a lifestyle. FREELETICS LIFESTYLE "NO EXCUSES"
Amazing results 5/5
Get the app and pay for the coach. This app is cheaper than a gym membership and the results are better
Nothing in life is free! 1/5
By big Joe from Pa.
There is nothing free about freeletics! I can't access any part of the app without purchasing a membership. This should be clearly stated saving me a lot of wasted time.
No time, no equipment NO PROBLEM! 4/5
Great app for a summer, quick workout!!
Best Fitness App!! 5/5
The latest version is very consistent!! This organization has truly changed the game of fitness. They have improved with every version they release and the best part is that the money is very much worth the product... Keep going Freeletics!!!
