Best job hunting app I’ve seen! 5/5
I love this app!
Receiving notifications not related to my preferences 1/5
It seems Glassdoor is just sending any and all types of jobs even though I set my preferences. I basically have to rummage through 90% of the Jobs to find what maybe related to my search. If this is not Glassdoor ‘s intent, a Help feature should be added.
Unusable Search Algorithm 2/5
When I typed in “iOS Developer” in the search bar to look for opportunities in the location “Indonesia,” nothing related to an iOS Developer position shows up. Yet when I open the Glassdoor website on my desktop, it’s able to search it correctly.
Makes my phone hot 1/5
Every time I use this app it makes my phone very warm and drains my battery. For example, I used it today for maybe 20 mins and the longer I used it the warmer phone got and my battery went from 41% to 22%. For 20 mins of use that’s a bit much. It’s done that since I downloaded it a year ago. I’m using an iPhone 7 and no matter how many updates I do to either the phone or app it continues. Now that I’m employed I will be deleting it.
Just use the website 1/5
App freezes a lot, and the job description is mis-formatted... The website looks fine, just use that instead.
Not sure what the point of an app is.
Reporting a bug 4/5
The top right corner buttons are not clickable on iPhone7
I like that I can get alerts on new job openings, follow my own companies reviews, and see the reviews of other companies before applying for the job.
Found quite easy to use & worthy employers 4/5
This app is easy to use & I've found the employers to be good. The key is using the correct search words. One can easily dismiss employers who aren't appreciate. If you choose not to review yr current or previous work experience, you can easily opt out.
I would like to see more salary postings 3/5
I think the app is good, but the main reason I signed up for It is to see the salaries at different companies. I would like to see more of this!
Great app 5/5
Very informational and directional. I utilize this app when I need the information I’m looking for and it has it 90% of the time.
Great App! 5/5
Just okay 2/5
The app is okay, my one frustration is seeing that there are 113 new notifications for PTA listings but upon opening 10 are for PTA and the other 103 are for PT/OT/AT/etc. That’s not helpful and it’s annoying to sift through.
Great application! 5/5
I use this application every time I need to know about a company and how their workplace is! I’ve always used google and immediately chosen Glassdoor to begin with, so the application and ability to see ANY review I want. Awesome.
Great app 5/5
Great app, super easy to use. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a better job and a great way to search
“Chicago” is not a location 1/5
By N/A 1234
“Chicago” is roughly a 150 mile radius and is a useless location for job seekers.
You need an exact location to determine if a job opportunity is a 2 hour commute or 20 minutes.
Faster way to find Job 5/5
As i said in the title. You can find many job only by title, degree, location, time of publishing which makes it the best place to look for a job.
Helpful app 4/5
Easy to use. Great tool for researching companies. Helpful list of positions available.
Great Service 5/5
I like that you are able to find things out about an interview or job before you actually go in. You will know what to expect. I love it!
Great app 5/5
This is one of the few apps of which I prefer the app compared to their actual website. Very useful advice on jobs, and easy to read. The only thing I don’t use is their job search, because it seems to have more limited options compared to other job search services. Maybe just not used as much by employers?
I recommend this site if you want legitimate job offers and not scams. Trustworthy.
Production Assistant 5/5
By Am tired
Your App is improving though on a slower pace. Try to make it easier to apply for jobs
Two words 5/5
Simply Awesome .....
Good app BUT.... 2/5
This is a good app but it crash and freeze all the time. Every time I would hit the “Back” button on the top left or swipe to the right to return to the previous page I was at, it would always freeze and crash. My phone isn’t that old, (iPhone 7+) so I don’t think it’s because of that. The actual content of the app is good though. Merry just wish I didn’t have to restart the app, search for the company/job/etc that I was on again every time I have to go back a page.
Helps find jobs but not get them 1/5
I filed an application to a company for a good job near me through the Glassdoor website thinking that they were reputable and would forward said application post haste. Turns out, they didn’t do anything because when I contacted the company a couple days later, they hadn’t even received my resume. Super frustrating because now I might not be in the running for this job.
Well Organized and Easy to Synchronize with Website 5/5
My wife and I have been using the Glassdoor app to effectively coordinate employment searches. I have my app logged in using my website login credentials; my wife did the same. I’m the one looking for new opportunities, but my wife has more time to do the preliminary research.
My bride uses keyword searches to find and prescreen selections, and then she will send them to me via text messages to my phone. I then review them and save the most interesting ones inside the app so I can access them easily from my laptop through the website for final review.
We make great use of Glassdoor’s company reviews and, when applicable, salaries data. Newer companies and unique positions tend to be lacking the latter, of course, but about 80% of the time salary information is at least useful as a guideline, and often it’s very helpful.
Keywords are ignored 2/5
I also find Glassdoor does a terrible job matching key words. I’ve set preferences but get job alerts that are completely off base. Seems like keywords are virtually useless. Looking for a better job search app.
User-friendly & convenient 5/5
Super easy to use. Very convenient for searching job offers and comparing salaries.
Don’t rely on their information anymore 1/5
My honest reviews were completely removed and I have been told by many others, this has happened to them also. It is becoming evident that Glassdoor does in fact allow employers to remove Honest reviews smh.
Reviews Not Loading 2/5
Since iOS 11.2.1, reviews have stopped loading in the app.
Ms C 5/5
Very detailed, informative, and organized. Company info proven to be accurate.
Skilled Searcher 5/5
Great app! Helpful & instrumental in my job search.
Great way to look for a new job 5/5
I love this app. They send daily emails and it keeps a log of the jobs you applied for. Easy to apply.
Over rated.. 1/5
Sends way too many jobs that doesn't even fit what I am looking for or what I would be eligible. The site is driven on your reviews so that’s good but dumb people post dumb stuff because they get fired and the do not moderate it.
Old job ads, not useful. 1/5
I was excited to see great job opportunities sent to my email again and again only to discover they were from June 2016 or older. There doesn't even appear to be a way to sort by date posted. Even if you find current jobs, they just kick you to Indeed or other job search sites. Huge waste of time.
This has helped me find a lot of great opportunities and I landed a good job from it. Also super easy to use!
Great App 5/5
I do like the app.
Terrible U/I 1/5
Impossible to navigate. If I try to look at multiple salaries within the same company the app stops working. I end up having to start over, search for the company again and then filter on the position again. Very frustrating and this has persisted through multiple new version cycles.
I love it 4/5
The only problem I have for this app is that it’s not completely typing friendly. When I need to type on the bottom of the page, the prompted question and the content I’m typing are completely blocked by the keyboard. Hope that can be fixed soon
Forced to download app 1/5
Mobile website forces you to install the app to read more than one review.
As such, I have no choice but give this app one star.
By Dr Buddy 5402
Not validating employment is unacceptable. Also, use it with full capacity, you have to pay 12K plus annually. Daytime rubbery.
Really good but 4/5
Really good but it would be better if you could check the jobs you’ve applied for. Sometimes when you apply on the company website it doesn’t register it. It’s both confusing and annoying (because you keep receiving reminders to apply).

It’s amazing what we are able to do with this app!! Take a test drive 😁
Beware of this scam 1/5
By Rudy OTF
The give you a 7 day free trail and then charge you $350 a month endlessly for zero resumes.
I had tried to cancel but there is no clear way to cancel with them. After thinking my subscription is canceled 6 months later discover my card has been charged every month.
Then when I call they say I deleted my post prior to being charged. But they charged me anyway with no job posting and wont refund all of my money back.
This company is one of those 7 day schemes with a hell of marketing budget and a very unfriendly return policy. Employees beware how you get no to very little resumes and no customer service to companies that subscribe. This is a scam in my opinion. Best of luck if you do use them.
Hit or Miss 3/5
It is definitely one of the best apps for finding a job, but it constantly crashes, never loads, or loses all my information. Even the most recent update did not help at all. Please fix these bugs!
Back button doesn't work 1/5
iPhone X back button consistently doesn't work ever it seems.
This app is easy to install and easier to run thru it.
Awesome app 5/5
Glassdoor keep me up to date of any good opportunity that accurate fit with the parameters that the user set up.
It is very important to me to be aware of good opportunities. This app is outstanding doing that!
Salary Info and Company Insight 5/5
I like being able to see the average salary before I take the time to apply for the position. I also like having the inside scoop on pros and cons.
I originally loved. Now not so much. 2/5
I recommended this site to many people, including HR Directors looking for input for recruitment resources. This app is sub par in a few ways, and flaws are emerging in the website as well. The blog articles being emailed feel more and more sponsored/ contrived in content, very few employers allow applications from the app, and thanks, but I don’t need to be given unsolicited info on your front screen that my ‘worth is decreasing’. Based on what, the sometimes wildly inaccurate salary estimations for positions? There are also functionality issues on both app & tablet with most updated OS. I love your ethos, but clean up your delivery, Glassdoor.
