Please bring back minute increments! 1/5
Guys, please bring back minute increments to events! We use iOS's stock calendar to do it after the recent update and it is a pain. Please please bring them back, we use it for tracking purposes for clients.
Oh, and as everyone else has asked, a notification widget PLEASE!
Needs a widget 3/5
I would give 5 stars as soon as there is a widget for the search screen.
Have the actual date be on the app icon
needs widget! 2/5
come on! that's gotta be so obvious. please!
No iPad version. You have to 2/5
By I Don't Want To Have A Nickname
use the iPhone version and double the screen size. Google should build a universal app; its 2017!
Where is the app for the iPad? 4/5
I love this app. I think is it a great tool and I have all three of my calendars on there. It syncs seamlessly with the other google apps (Mail and maps) and makes my life easier.
The only 2 things I wish Google would do is:
1) make the app compatible with the iPad. I use my iPad for so much but I have to use this app in compatibility mode. Not cool
2) Add a widget. That would be amazing!
It did get a little more confusing to add new appointments, but far from impossible.
Takes so long to set up and you have to set up each reminder manually because the app doesn't let you set for specific future dates automatically.
Great App 5/5

Easy to read, use.
By Michael Farr
It's a decent addition to your computer calendar but it's a bit clunky and confusing on mobile.
Since update, won't load!! 1/5
By Alec sottosanti
It won't load my google calendar and just loads until it shuts down. Had to get a new calendar app. Meaning I open the app and then it just has the loading circle and won't fetch my calendar data and then just shuts down.
Saves my life 5/5
Tbh this is the best thing to have happened to me. I've never been so organized and it helps loads with my studying and letting me know when certain assignments are due and color coding by class
Background refresh doesn't work... 2/5
The calendar data doesn't update in the background. It's the most critical feature that needs to work for a scheduling system. I get a lot of bad notifs now. The UI is okay, and I appreciate some of the email smarts the app has. It's no Sunrise - Google missed big not acquiring them unfortunately.
Wrong times showing 2/5
Mapped out my class schedule using the online google calendar on my laptop. Downloaded this app so I could have easy access on my phone. All my classes ended up being displayed an hour early on my phone compared to what I had put in. For example a class I put in as 8am-8:50am showed up as 7am-7:50am. Even within editing the details the information would be correct but as soon as I saved it and went back to the main screen the app would display the data incorrectly.
Pretty on the eyes, but not very smart 5/5
By My Dog Clyde
It's easy to use if you are not required by your organization to use it daily. I prefer to use my computer browser to schedule meetings/appointments and inform others of my availability. When I need to check where I am going next, it is a nice looking and easy tool for an on the go planner - especially since it syncs with the schedule that I input online. Unfortunately, it is a pain to use the app to input the schedule.
The options available on a browse afford you much more options for creating events. The app does attempt to be smart -- It allows you to just type in the information on a single line and then will organize the information in to the correct categories, but it doesn't always work correctly.
I love this app despite all of that. The way Google has woven this beautiful quilt of applications, services, and utilities together is beautiful and sometimes I wonder how we ever got along with other their platform.
For the individual, or for an organization of thousands, the Google system is the only thing that I recommend if you want to use the internet with your computer/phone is 1. Chrome Browser 2. Gmail 3. Google Drive 4. Google Calendar 5. Google fpcs/slides/sheets /forms 6. Google play + the Google Apps that fit your needs for entertainment (music, books, games, TV, etc.).
Google has it all. They're a great company that has made a free version of all our favorite products - that even work seamlessly with our favorite products.
No longer can an underprivileged student suffer through high school because they can't afford $120+ for Microsoft Office at home! Just log onto your Google account and use docs. Or go to a WiFi hotshot to acquire the offline, desktop version of Google docs!
It's brilliant and I love Google. Oh and did I mention that they have a computer that DREAMS?
Another note: Google Drive has made my research collaborations easier than ever before and with my colleagues using Google Calendar, scheduling face to face meetings and video conferences is easier than breathing.
Forget doctor appointments easily? Don't like to allow push notifications from apps? Never fear, Google Calendar us here. Just select your preferred notification type and how long before the appointment you need to be reminded. When I have an important appointment that I may forget, then I just have Google Calendar send me a text message. AMAZING!
Use this app. Or use another one for a month so that when you finally get Google Calendar, you will be able to appreciate the world's best time management tool - for Free.
Google Calendar keeps crashing 1/5
Folks for the past two months I have not been able to use the Google Calendar app on my iPhone 7+. Every time I click on the app it crashes after one minute. I have reloaded it several times but still no sustained life. Can you help?
Easy to use; does what you need it to! 5/5
Love google products. The calendar is easy to use. Love that you can get travel alerts so you can leave on time. Love the color options. Love how you can invite people to your events. Just does everything you need.
Latest version crashes a soon as I start scrolling through dates. Ugh!
I love this app but do have a few suggestions for features.
1. Like others have said sending push notifications would be very useful.
2. A widget for quick access showing the daily schedule similar to iOS.
3. Updating the icon for the current day.
4. Having the option for multiple calendars under the same account. Say one for work and one for school.
Not optimized for iPad at all!!!
Can only search 2017 3/5
Won't scroll back to events before January.
Buildup and Disappointment 2/5
I was so excited that Google finally had a decent calendar app for iPhones. Until I downloaded it I've been using Readdle's calendar app, which syncs with Google, because google calendar is actually great. Unfortunately the app is not. Type in Monday Jan 23 5-7pm, and it doesn't register the 5-7 but does get the 23rd part right. Click 'done' and the calendar has automatically set my event titled 'Meeting Monday January 23 5pm-7pm' on Saturday the 21st at 2pm. Very frustratedly I will return to my old app and hope that this gets figured out a little better.
Pleasee app for ipad and mac!! 5/5
If you take all the apps and put it in all apple devices you will destroy all competitors with all this google apps! Great job
Still a ways to go... 3/5
It boggles my mind that the app can't display the actual day of the month like the iCal does. It would also be nice to see the calendar zoomed out in a weekly basis to see what the entire week looks like for the ENTIRE days.
You've got the $$$ to do these things so get to it!!!
Google needs to fix this ASAP! 1/5
By Disappointed in WNYC
Ever since installing ios10. The app crashes 30 seconds after opening it. I've tried everything. Reinstalling iOS. Reinstalling the app. Nothing works. It is isn't usable and I've gone to a third party calendar now. So not happy. Google if you're listening (and you're always listening) please fix this.
Put real date on app home screen icon!! 2/5
Would like it better if today's date was automatically displayed on the app icon, so we don't have to open up the app just to view today's date. What kind of calendar doesn't automatically show today's date on the home screen icon?
Also, allow users to move appointments via dragging, instead of having to manually edit each time a meeting time changes. Take some lessons from the Apple calendar you're trying to replace
A Simple Suggestion 4/5
By Valdez Family
Good functionality. The suggestion is for app icon to show the actual date on it, instead of always having to show the number 31.
The iOS Calendar has it. Surely if Apple can do it, Google can too.
Great app 5/5
Helps me organize!!
Love it 5/5
I am with a home health agency and love how I can schedule and reschedule on my phone, iPad or when I'm in the office. It's easy!
This app seems like it would be great, but it crashes every time I use it. I can't get "other" calendars to load onto the calendar on my iPhone, but got them to show up on this. I have an iPhone 7. Thanks
I calandra 2/5
PLEASE!!!!! Add the Icalendar (ics) format again. Don't like sending my events via email when a person can't just click on it and have it added to the calendar.
Love it 5/5
It's super easy to use and super cool.
Google calendars is great 5/5
It's great. What?!
My best appointment keeper helper 5/5
Loving using Calendar with my Apple products. It has been like a rock when events are about to happen. I cannot survive without it. Started showing my friends how easy this great useful app is. Thank you to you googsters for making Calendar so user friendly👍👍👍.
Great calendar 5/5
This is a very helpful and exciting to use
Awesome app 5/5
One of the best calendar applications I've ever used
Love this App 4/5
I like that it is simple but colorful makes it much easier for me to read and keep track of my activities.
Almost perfect 4/5
Love the simple schedule layout. Please make a widget for upcoming events! Location based reminders (like in google keep) would be a nice addition as well.
Crash and freeze 2/5
This app works sometimes but otherwise it freezes and crashes while viewing my calendar. I don't recommend it, apart from the fact that it supports reminders and reliably updates my Google calendar.
Needs an iPad companion! 3/5
The iPhone app itself gets 5 stars from me. Absolutely beautiful and intuitive. But the insanity that they haven't come out with an iPad version gets 0 stars from me. There needs to be a counterpart that's native to iPad (with preference for landscape)...like, yesterday.
Love it 5/5
let's me organize my life and it always reminds me when i've got something coming up
Best. Cal. Ever 5/5
Best cal ever. Neat and easy to use.
Must be made for iPad ASAP!!!
good, not good 3/5
I like that it's easy to enter appointments & love the color options to highlight the events.
What's not good is, when I entered an event, there was two of the same event in two different colors, showing. Also, the app on my phone should show today's date, but instead it shows the number 31. I shouldn't have to open the app to see the date!
Love this google calendar 5/5
I absolutely love all its features and more modern look. Works great!
Is it asking too much to display today's date? 1/5
Great app. I love that I can sync it with my laptop. There is just one problem and it's a biggie. I am "date challenged ". I rarely know the date of the month without looking. WHY would you create a calendar app that displays a random date? Seems easy enough to do. If you Google it, people have been complaining about it almost TWO YEARS! REALLY? Whatever happened to giving customers what the ask for?
Thanks for helping me lose money 2/5
By Ed Zuchini
Google calendar works pretty well, and I like its visual appearance. However, it doesn't send me notifications about reminders. I use reminders more than I use actual appointments, and I miss many of them because Google Calendar fails to notify me when they occur. I believe the only way it manages to notify me about a reminder is if I have opened the app that same day. That's ridiculous. I set a reminder to cancel my subscription to a certain website service once my free trial had ended. Google Calendar failed to notify me of my reminder and so my subscription continued, charging me money for a month's worth of the service. Thanks Google.
Great calendar but needs improvement 3/5
I'm having a hard time scheduling events. Events such as birthdays, appointments and reminders have specific colors, but when I add an event I do not see them listed,i.e., birthdays, etc. however when I add them to my Apple calendar they appear in the google
Calendar with the corresponding color.
In love with this app. Interface is so appealing! 5/5
I like using this app. Very user friendly and the interface is addicting to look at/use. Really my only wish is that there were a desktop version similar to this app and not the not-as-pretty Google Calendar available on the desktop currently (and for what has seemed like forever)! Thanks Google!
I switched to this app for its simplicity. Overall it is an ok calendar app, but the one feature I miss from my old app is badges being displayed for reminders. This let me know each day by looking at my phone if I had any tasks to complete as opposed to looking in the app. Also a widget would be very helpful. And finally, the way an event looks when viewing it seems boring and like something's missing. So much unused space makes it seem undeveloped.
Generally good app--simple interface, useful functions, easy to use. I wish reminders would disappear after being marked 'done' -- the way they hang around crossed off is a little annoying.
By El Paso Cowboy
Great calendar ties to all my devices, easy to use, able to communicate with all other formats. Ease of use makes it a must.
It works ok 3/5
I like it alright. Still getting used to it.
