Love this app, but since the update, I'm not getting any notifications. One of the number one reasons I use this app. Please fix ASAP!

I had to get this app for work when we switched from Schedule fly. While schedule fly doesn't have an app, it can be set up to send a text when a shift becomes available for pickup, and it sends texts if any message is received. In hotschedules there's no option to get app notifications or texts that a shift has been put up, the only way you can find out is to constantly open & check the app calendar. This is a huge drawback to this app for workers that like to pick up shifts. Hot schedules also only sends a text if a message from a manager is received. It does do a badge alert for coworkers messages, but it would be nice to have an option of text notifications too. Hope these options are considered for the next update!

Until this last update everything WAS working pretty well. Every time I try to approve time off or availability changes the app crashes! Please fix ASAP!!

Very easy to use and great app overall. No crashing problems, always works and lets me know when I work. I like the sync to calendar feature but sometimes it adds it multiple times to the day. Overall nothing to complain about. I love how easy it is to view and change shifts, get ahold of coworkers and send messages through the app itself. 10/10 would recommend!💯

Cannot request specific days off. When you move to a different restaurant you have to create a whole new user name.
Would not use this app at all. Have the restaurant print out your schedule.

This app is really convenient for jobs and employees. One thing that would make it better is if everytime your schedule is posted, it showed how many hours you are scheduled for the week. Much more easy than me counting them up lol. Other than that, I love it!

Yet another update and the app still doesn't work. It's been 7+ months now and I've left a negative review everytime hoping that you would read it and try and do something about it. Apparently not. This is a joke.

This app is terrible. It constantly says I'm not connected (even if Im connected to WIFI or if I'm using the web in other apps) I have to use safari 70% of the time. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

A great app for checking schedules, only problem I have is my phone language is in Japanese and since switching, the app closes every time I try to ask off. Switching back to English fixes it, but I don't want to keep it in English anymore.
HotSchedules pretty amazing 5/5
Keeps me informed of any and changes to my schedule, allows me to make an easy shift change, over keeps everything organized and there isn't any chaos 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This app works most of the time, and doesn't work to well with shift changing. Also the fact that you make employees pay to use this even even though the company pays a fee to use the service. Pretty sad.
CANT EDIT TIME REQUEST/ constant crashes 1/5
Since the app updated, I cannot edit any time requests I have made. When I click "Time off & Requests" and then click edit in the top right corner the app does not allow me to even click an option. Also if I click the request shown and then click the top right corner to "edit" it freezes and then crashes and the app closes all together. I have tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, almost every option available but it still crashes. Wth.
Can't edit my requests off without the app crashing. Besides that everything else works.

I love the ease of being able to just tap an app on my phone and see my schedule for the week+, but the latest update has made it to where it will not let me log in, which completely defeats the purpose of having it. I hope they fix it soon!
Stop forcing me to update the app 1/5
I made my manager print me off paper schedules because the app forces me to update it every other week in order to see when I work! Why can't I just use the older version? All it does is show me times and days??? What bugs could there possibly be that I need to be FORCED to update the app. And I had to pay for it?? Thanks for nothing. Not useful.

Most of the people who use this app are servers, if I'm making $200-$250 a night shift, $3 is nothing. The app needs some improvement, but I'm only using it to get messages from managers and to know when I need to be in work. Which it does correctly for my iPhone 6s on 9.3.3

I've never had an app that's supposed to be used on the daily kick me off and give me error messages as much as this one. It's still incredibly frustrating to try to upon the app, in general, and get a "user error" message like your account doesn't exist.
Idk if there's ever been an update where it hasn't had an issue.
This one might be the worst with the constant error messages.

I use this app for all things related to my job - shifts, messages, people's #s etc... I've never had the following problem until the new update:
Every time I go to read a new inbox message, the message is blank once opened. I'll restart the app, go to the message several times, and if I'm lucky it will finally show the body/content of the message.
Please fix this bc I'm missing out on important updates.
Calendar sync bug 2/5
The calendar sync used to be so convenient..until it started putting in the same information twice...then four times..then seven! Please fix this ASAP, I've been experiencing this for a while and it's just gotten worse over time.

I was to see how everything was going in the app, since my job use it. Saying this in the app "Unable to load Settings: Ownerld: 1, Class: com.tbr3.hs.setting. Sytrmsetting" I don't know why the heck is going on. But it needs to be fix yet again. Everyone uses this app for their job. Sorry to break it to you, I wouldn't use it unless it was part of my job. And it is.

I love this app it's super easy to use and very convenient. I just wish you would add the feature to allow a profile photo cause I have hundreds of coworkers which I'm trying to remember their name or who they are but I can't put their name to a face. So it would make this app 5 stars!

This app/website is not worth it! There are several other options out there for scheduling, and are completely free! They recently added an update to make things more difficult, stating it's what "we" asked for. I'm just curious who asked for it? Working on getting our company off of HotSchedules and on to better things. This app is not recommended. Keep your money!!

The app allowed me to sign in and worked well for a few months. Around the last update, my login started failing. The website still worked. After resetting my password, logins through the mobile app continue to fail. That's silly.

I use this for my work schedule and I really like that it syncs with my phones calendar. There seems to be a bug that sets multiple events for my one shift. For example my 11am shift shows up as 15 different events on my calendar.

Why does syncing the app to my calendar create multiple events? If I'm scheduled to work 9-1 I have 3, 5, and even 10 events created for that one shift.

It's annoying to flip back and forth to find out who's doing a lunch shift or a dinner shift. I'm trying to find people who aren't working to have them cover my shift - needs to be a list of "who's not working this day" list

It's a decent set up. Some improvements could be used. As a manager I am unable to read the entire reply to notes in the logbook (a must fix). It would also be nice to be able to edit staff schedules through the app and not just the website.
From the website, the new logbook set up is awful and not very functional. The old version was much easier to scroll logs and replies when scanning for specific details. It also used to put log notes in order of the time the were entered. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the ordering now.

I would like to be able to see everyone who is scheduled to work on days that I do. For instance , I can only see people whose job title is the same as mine (cashier). I want to see servers, bartenders etc as well. Please fix for iPhone

As soon as I bought the app and open, it asked you to sign-in without even let you register. If you are new user, it ask you to 'get a sheet from your manager'. What is this? I just lost $2.99!

Not very versatile or functional. You can't view previous day's schedules or the weekly schedule as a whole or see the weekly schedule with coworkers. The app constantly crashes and you have to log in separately online as its a different forum than the app. The worst employee scheduling app ever!!!

Idk what happened, but now I can't look at my schedule. It won't load and barely let me log in. You'd think an app that i paid for would work fine. Seriously hoping this gets fixed then I'll return to 5 stars because other than all of that this app was fantastic.

The worst app. You have to have the most recent iOS to run it, still crashes, and the browser on your phone always has difficulty loading the pages. You have to press everything twice, and trying to send messages, the text you type never shows up. I'm a very savvy, smart, phone user, and this app and website make me feel like I've never used a smart phone before. And the service isn't great either. I emailed about a problem specifically laying out my problems and got an email back talking to me like I've never used a phone before and asking me questions I had already answered. Just awful. Don't give them any more money.

This app is b@d@$$! It makes swapping shifts with coworkers, requesting time off and getting my shift covered so easy. I have had very little trouble with it and when I did they have forums online you can search your problem and find an answer, I have also talked to heir techs over the phone and they have been very helpful and friendly. I <3 HotSchedules !

I had the app on my old phone and everything was fine and I could see my schedule. After getting a new phone and redownloading the app all I get is Training and Settings tabs.
It doesn't seem like they are trying to fix the problem.
