1 star until option to play podcasts oldest to newest is added 1/5
I use this app to listen to one of my favorite podcasts, and always playing newest to oldest means I have to open the app after every 5-minute episode to choose the next episode. This is so frustrating that I'm considering giving up the podcast. Please add a setting to play podcasts from oldest to newest.
Something for everybody! 5/5
Thanks for adding the NPR podcasts ... hubby loves them!
This used to be good - bloated and doesn’t work 1/5
This never remembers settings and is a pain to just open to my radio station.
They are trying to force us into their other features and it makes it difficult to just listen to my iheartradio station that I want!!
Connection issue or station issue? 3/5
I’m not sure what is going on lately with this app, but I have had many problems staying connected to WMAL, a talk radio station out of Washington DC. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the station itself or something within the app. Whether I’m on Wi-Fi or LTE, the station keeps going in and out. This has been going on for several weeks now. I’m also having the same problem with accessing this radio station using the app on U-verse tv.
Love love love 5/5
Been using for 5 years, only app I use to listen to radio.
Closes when other apps are opened. 1/5
As much as I love this app I have given it one star because I am unable to multitask while listening. Whenever I am using the app and I leave it to open any other app such Safari or texting or any other app, this will will stop playing and close out. =(
Buffers constantly 2/5
I can be driving through the middle of St. Louis with 5 bars of LTE, and this app will buffer when I listen to a radio station. Never get buffering with Spotify or Pandora, only this app. Also the amount of advertising iHeartRadio does is absolutely insane.
Deceiving subscription 1/5
By Loco Crazy
I finally made the choice of signing and it says you can save a song of your radio playlist but you have to sign up for the plus to do that. I rather signup for Apple Music or Tidal to do that

Why does the app not work with iOS 11
No support! 1/5

Where have you been all my life? 5/5
Jeesh, I am 69 years young, and have been waiting for a program like IHeart Radio! So glad I am living long enough to enjoy- thank you!
IHeartRadio ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5/5
I love iHeartRadio so much!!! I love all the different kinds of music that you can choose from and listen to for free!!!!
Good music app but 2/5
tried to load it to my iPad. Couldn’t get it to accept my password. Tried to reset it and cannot get a reset email. Tried all weekend with no luck. May have to delete the app and go another route. If you’re mot going to send me a reset email don’t offer it.
By Rocking Chik
I used to love iHeartRadio. I recently just re-downloaded it and am not impressed. It takes forever to load and when it finally loads it buffers constantly. I have to be connected to wifi to get even a few minutes of not buffering. I don't want to have to use my wifi in order to listen to it.
Plays multiple songs at the same time 4/5
First thing in the morning certain channels will have 2 songs playing at the same time but I’ve only noticed it early in the morning and I listen all day.
Paying Customer. 1/5
By 1 Innovation
The app works great, but I pay for the app so I can listen to any song I want to at anytime. I can’t play blue on black for the first song, and I have listened to the station for awhile and that song will not play.
Very high CPU, makes games stutter 1/5
I don’t have another app that does this. I frequently play Pandora in the background while playing games on my iPhone 6. Pandora has a ton of ads but never causes a foreground game to stutter. IHeartRadio does. Looks like I will be going back to Pandora.
Also I created a station based on Enya two days ago and it keeps playing the same Enya songs over and over along with piano music I don’t like.
Login Required - Automatic One Star!!! 1/5
Login Required - Automatic One Star!!!
Unnecessary login. Yet another moronic decision. Uninstalled.
Crashes constantly 1/5
Constantly crashing, seems to crash even more when i use the thumbs up or down feature. As soon as I lock my phone and put it down, it shuts itself off.
Cancellation of payment for this service 1/5

I am not using it anymore, so I need you to stop charging me. Please indicate how I should cancel.

This is the worst radio app I have ever seen. I actually want this to be zero stars, but I can’t send it unless I put at least ONE star. So I recommend that you don’t get this app.
Awesome app 5/5
I am enjoying this app so much especially now with the holidays. Love my Christmas music 🎄🦌🎅🏻🤶🏻☃️❄️😃
I hate when you have to buy 2/5
I hate when you have to buy 1 month free trial i think its dumb/i like when they gave you 30 free day trial instead of buy it
Apparently, this app is no longer a free service. They don’t actually tell you this. Instead, they just start prompting you To create an account if you want to open the app.
If you create an account. You are really stepping into a free trial that will Billiu six dollars per month every month after word.
I don’t want the subscription.... 1/5
SO STOP ASKING.
Slow to react to any task. Can’t download podcast so you can speed up. Can’t resume where you left off not good lots of wasted time taking up my data
It's the best radio in the world 👏👏
Has Potential but Rarely Fulfills It 2/5
By S.Tay 21
This is such a frustrating app but it’s the only way I can hear my favorite radio stations morning show podcast. It opens and freezes or won’t load the podcast. I have to open and close the app multiple times before it works. I’ve reinstalled the app and turned my phone off. I wish I could get these downloads from iTunes/Podcast App.
Constant crashing 1/5
By t bootz
I love listening to my local morning show on the iHeartRadio app (because who has actual radios in the home anymore?... not many!) however it’s CONSTANTLY pausing for a LONG period of time, and or doesn’t come back on at all and I have to close out the app, clear it & reopen which then makes me miss a good chunk of the show I listen to which is very annoying. I thought maybe it’s just my phone (iPhone 7) but my sister who lives in another state has also had constant issue (iPhone 6s) super frustrating.
Why did you remove the volume slider? Talk about a step backwards.
I did not subscribe 1/5
I do not know how I was charged $12.99 on my credit card from apple for iHeartRadio I did not subscribe. I have apple iTunes and would never do that. Don’t know how this happened but very upset that my card was charged.

I enjoy using this app.
I just want to listen to the radio 1/5

Geez, I used to enjoy this app so much. The upgrades and push to upgrade are painful. I no longer just listen to local radio. Time to find something else!
No skip feature 1/5

Listen to comedy , want to skip Louie C.K. ( why are you still playing this s creep????) but can’t :-(
Very tricky and highly questionable $ tactics 1/5
Aside from the following issue, this app is awesome. I love the ability to listen to radio through my phone. Hopefully this gets resolved, my rating would be higher.
Nearly every time I open the app, it automatically tries to make an in app purchase and asks for my finger print. This has something to do with the pop up offer that comes up every time I open the app. Instead of allowing me to dismiss the offer, it acts like I clicked on it. I could easily have accidentally subscribed to your paid service if I wasn’t paying close attention. Based on the reviews, this appears to already have happened to several other unsuspecting users. Please find a way to prevent this pop up from showing up every time I open the app. I understand you need a source revenue and have no problem with advertisements. But I’m not interested in making any purchases and would like to enjoy this free app without the risk of accidentally paying for a subscription each time I open it. I will update my review when this is resolved.
The fact that the free version of the app has to refresh every time an incoming call rings is ridiculous. I like the content but come on, why would I pay for this if they can’t even get the free version right?
IHeartRadio app 1/5
By DeMarco Live
It’s the worse app on my phone. It only works for 5 min then it stops for 5 min and I’m lucky if it comes back. It’s a shame because I miss all the good talk shows.
Awesome but needs work 3/5
I listen to iHeartRadio every day and about 4 months ago after every 1 or 2 songs it pauses and won’t play in my Bluetooth speaker. So I have to always press play. Inconvenience, but my play list is so massive from having it for 4+ years, I can’t let go!
No longer a good app 1/5
Ads are annoying and get in the way. It’s almost impossible to select something without a pop up getting in the way. No I’m not buying premium. I’ve got Apple Music. It’s better. I use this to listen to my hometown radio station.
Ads on top of ads? Really. Really smart. Takes me 2 minutes to get past the darn things.
Good but could be better 3/5
Honestly, this app is better than pandora. However, my main two issues with it are the dislike feature and the song selections when you choose a specific band or artist.
1. Dislike feature:
The problem with it is that if you click the dislike button on a song, that same song will keep coming back later until you’ve disliked it 3-4 times. Then after about a month it’ll come back again
2. Band/artist song selection:
My major issues with this feature is that when you choose a band you want to listen to, the app will play almost anything but that band/artist. For example, if you choose fallout boy the app will play a fallout boy song once in every ten songs or so. Therefore what is the point in being able to select an artist. Now I’m not saying I don’t want to hear things outside of the band/artist I have chosen, however, it would be nice to hear the chosen band/artist at least every other song or so.
I love this app 5/5
This is the best app if you are looking for music, I love this app
Your pop ups 2/5
Ruined a great listening experience by constantly shoving the subscription upgrade down my throat. Now I’ve accidentally subscribed and have to figure out how to undo that :(:(:(
Use to 1/5
I used to love I heart l, it was my go to. But with this new update I absolutely hate it! I can't find any of my saved stations and now have to pay for them... no longer will I use I heart anymore
Problems on new iOS 1/5
By What a c u n t
Not sure if it’s an iHeart problem or an Apple issue but listing to a 4 hr radio show uses 80% of my battery. On WiFi and everything! No other apps are killing my battery like that. iPhone 7 here
“For you” tab always freezes 3/5
I love iHeartRadio but every time when I try to remove a radio station or an artist from the “for you” tab the apps always freezes. Please iHeartRadio fix this. Thank you.
Shuffling through stations is quite annoying. It will forget the ones you frequently listen to, ignore your "based on your genres" list, or won't recognize stations that are similar. So you will end up switching to a bunch of stations you don't like and even after removing them from your recently played list, will pop up again. It isn't intuitive how the app manages shuffling stations.
It’s good when it works. 3/5
This app only works on my phone, I have an iPad Pro with the most current iOS on it, and it doesn’t work on there. I keep getting the error message that the developer needs to update the app. PLEASE update the app for iPad usage.
Could be better 3/5
The only problem I have with the app is every time you minimize the app and reopen, it has to completely refresh like you’ve opened the app for the first time, which gets incredibly annoying.
Love the app, but hate the constant pop ads 2/5
By Cinda J
I really enjoy this app. I have been a user for a few of years now... but the last nine months have been horrible because of the constant berating of in app purchases pop up, upgrade request, and opening screen pop ups. You can’t even get into the app without having to push away all the pop ups. And if you accidentally don’t close the pop just right you’re gonna be signed up for some paid service. And of course there is no option in notifications to stop this. It’s incredibly disturbing.
