Wow, what a great app!! 5/5
Can’t give this app enough stars. Endless array of exercises to choose from, and it’s great that I can also add my own (exercises and routines). The rest timer is also great, as it keeps me from getting to side tracked in the home gym. Only update suggestion would be an iPad version. Thanks!
Great App!!! 5/5

20 Stars if I could give it more! This is the WWJDG(what would Jesus do if he were to go to the gym) APP a “must” download app for the serious lifters and exercise enthusiasts!
By Mario de Oliveira Jr.
Excellent! User friendly and helpful
Really enjoy using this app to track my workouts. I do wish they’d add a few more exercises such as battle ropes and Jacobs ladder. There are others but cannot think we of right now. But over all I like the app
Easiest app to use 5/5
Love the app! Very user friendly! When will we be able to subscribe through the app, or buy each workout individually for $1? Please add Jim Stoppani workouts. I guess I can always google the workout and build it myself in the app! <<< another great thing about this app! Very easy to build your own workouts!
Good: It remembers / Bad: It remembers 5/5
My memory blows. This app makes it easy to remember what you did and which direction you should be going. If you're honest with yourself then there's no fudging. You can find great workouts easily. Love to hate it.
Great Fitness App 5/5
I don’t normally write reviews, but I really do love this app. It’s easy find workouts and it gives you tips and instructions on how to do them. There is also set workout plans which is also super helpful for beginners. This app also has by far the best work log I’ve used.
Suggestion: Make the workout log easier to access and more intuitive.
Apple Watch 2/5
By Armand van boom
Just says stand by and go to logs on the iPhone app. Did that and nothing happens.
Extremely easy and versatile 5/5
The app looks beautiful first off. And it's very intuitive; I was building my own custom program within minutes of downloading the app. Super easy to go back through the logs and track progress. I feel like I'm only even utilizing half of what the app has to offer.
Great App but... 4/5
This is, by far, the best lifting app for iPhone that I have ever used (and I have tried a bunch over the years). That said, the Apple Watch functionality/integration needs a lot of improvement before it will be useful. I understand they are aware of the current Apple Watch limitations, and are actively working on it. I eagerly anticipate this improvement to an otherwise stellar app!
Awesome a must have 5/5
Great app tracks your workouts, and breaks it down by body part how often and of what percent of your workouts are geared towards what body part...
The perfect workout app 5/5
By Mike L. James
This app legitimately revolutionized working out for me. It is incredibly easy to use, amazing to track your progress, and free as air. I rarely write reviews but this app deserves it. Can’t recommend it enough.
One of the most useful free apps currently on the market
JEFIT Pro 5/5
By Swirl 23
I have used JEFIT since its introduction. Many years ago I update to JEFIT Pro. With the changes made to the app, the Pro version was discontinued. The developers stay true to providing excellent customer service and made the corrections to my account. This IS the best workout app available!
I paid for the year membership 1/5
Paid for the year membership but it’s telling me to sign up for Elite? Is there a difference between Elite and VIP? If so, why charge 39.99 for each?
Best, most straightforward fitness app 5/5
I’ve used most of the big fitness apps, and each has their own pluses and minuses. JEFIT however, is the one I go to. If you want to just get to work and get fit without a bunch of bullsh$t muddying up the waters, I’d highly recommend it.
Latest update seems to have fixed the bugs 4/5
Glad to see my favorite fitness app working normally again. Entered reps are staying recorded.
Best workout app ever 5/5
I have tried a few apps and this one is amazing, they should be charging for it. It has so many options and even times your rest periods. Don’t try any other until you try this one.
Love this app 5/5
I’m a gym newbie & needed something to help me keep track of my workouts. I’ve tried several & this is hands down my favorite! It would be even better if it could sync with the Apple Health app...
Customizable and great standard features! 5/5
I use this for my superslow lifting routine. App is perfect for the style or record keeping this routine requires. I made all my lifts customized for tracking time under load. Check out Dr. Doug Mcgruffs research proven strength routines!
Needs apple health kit integration 3/5
I like the overall app but would love to see apple health kit integration to add workout info to the Heath kit tracking
Requires registration 1/5
You can’t try the app without signing up and giving your email address. There’s other workout apps that don’t have extra hurdles, so I’ll just use something else.
Lots of options 4/5
By Jared rob
This has so many different workouts and such and you can customize your own workout.
I do wish that this connected to other apps like MyFitnessPal and such.
I do like this app and have been using it for a few days now and starting to get used to it.
Great app 5/5
By ac fat
Really helps push you towards your goals at little to no cost
Stop with the popups! 1/5
You know what’s a terrible user experience? Asking me to rate the app the second I pick “Start Workout.” Who thought it was a good idea to ask that at the beginning of a workout? You want a rating, well here it is.
Let me preface by saying I’ve been a member of JEFIT for years now, and this version is really buggy. After you’re done with a workout and sync it to the cloud it fails to end the workout keeping it running, then every time you try to end it, it won’t let you and keeps syncing not allowing you to go to a different workout. Additionally, for the love of visualization, please fix your progress graph, it’s absolutely horrendous to have an axis based on days when you’ve been using the app for 4+ years. Also, just now saw that my progress hasn’t been saving from the previous week even though I go through your sync process at the end of every workout 😡😡😡
App refused to sinc with my watch. After several exchanges with tech support, which were very positive sounding but useless, I am forced to delete the app and search for another.
Terrible customer support 1/5
I’ve been a JEFIT user for years. I bought the initial ads free version years ago and upgraded to VIP (Elite) version for $40 per year when that came out. I went through and injury recently and haven’t lifted in months. I wanted to start lifting again, and here is where JEFIT failed.
1) You cannot reset your training data by yourself. I need to know how much I hang clean now on my journey back from injury, not when I was at my peak 8 months ago. You must send a request to do this to their support to do this. Cannot be done from end user perspective.
2) I sent the request on Jan 5th. Today, Jan 29 they finally just “completed” my request. When you are VIP, you are supposed to get priority support. 3 weeks is not priority support. I also had to re-explain twice what I was asking for.
3) Apparently I wasn’t clear enough. Instead of completing my request, they reset my account. Not only is that NOT what I wanted, I could have done that myself a month ago if it was what I wanted. So now, all the routines and custom exercises I’ve spent years building and cultivating are gone. Poof, just like that.
This app used to be great, it hasn’t been updated or had new features (besides asking for money via VIP membership) in years. It’s clear the developers no longer care about me as a user. I’ll never use his app again
Apple Watch app virtually unusable 2/5
Apple Watch app doesn’t let you skip to next exercise, doesn’t let you see what the next exercise is, change the rest interval, and worst of all it doesn’t work as a stand-alone app so you need to keep the iPhone app running simultaneously and connected to the Watch. Also, the times up notification doesn’t work on the Watch at all and only sometimes does it tell you on the iPhone that the break is over...
By Nicolás Ramírez
A mi me gusta este app porque así yo puedo tener un recordatorio de que ejercicios yo tengo tengo planeados para hacer cada día
Can’t see friend’s workouts, but love the app 3/5
This is a great app. A friend builds workouts for me, and shares them, but something is happening where we can’t see each other’s progress. We have it set up to share, but something isn’t working right...
Great app, subscription not worthwhile 4/5
The app is absolutely great for everyone, my only real complaint is that they make it tedious to create your own plan unless you subscribe to their “elite” version. If it was a one time purchase I wouldn’t hesitate, but I’m not spending $40 a year just to make it easier to create a custom program.
Note: It is still possible to create your own program without upgrading, but you can’t duplicate prior days which means you have to input each workouts exercises one-by-one.
*Response to developer*
Shouldn’t your customers (or potential customers) be the ones to determine if a price is reasonable?
Perfect Workout App! ❤️ 5/5
Love this app! Perfect for keeping you on track with your workouts! The rest timer between sets keeps you from wasting time and if you're new to the gym, there are hundreds of exercises listed and demonstrated that are categorized by muscle groups to help you target the muscle groups you want to work that day!
Simply epic 5/5
The best workout log app out there. No doubt.
Outstanding first day 5/5
By Juan C Pagan
With guidance and step by step examples, this app is my personal trainer
Only goes up in 5lbs increments 4/5
Really good app for the most part, I only wish you could increase weights in 1lbs increments
Does it all. 5/5
Tracking. Every exercise in the book. Gorgeous easy to navigate interface. Why bother with any other workout app? Will be upgrading to premium when I have the extra cash.
Love this app 4/5
This app is a bit clumsy at times navigation wise. Would love easier commands for newbies, and logging, and see improvements. Or being able to choose different cardio/weight plans. Not just individual. But overall a great app for me, and I’m a newbie to lifting.
It’s ACTUALLY free😱 4/5
By Hey itsssss this bo$$
Free app! It has a whole Bunch of different workouts for different parts of the body. A planner, a goal setting, and much more. I can’t believe that this is all free! Everyone go check it out
Please, bring back the Lock Screen button! 5/5
I keep accidentaly logging hundreds of reps or ending prematurely my wo session just holding my fone or putting in the bag.
I wish one thing 4/5
I love the app. It has a massive inventory of exercises so I can actually track my full workout. I enjoy the premium features as well. The 1 rep max calculation gives me a good baseline of what my next PR should be. I am very active and track most of my workouts though Jefit. My BIGGEST problem with this app is that it is not yet compatible with Apple health. This is a major let down for me. Prior when I was using the StrongLifts app it was compatible and allowed me to track how many calories I burn and also use it I conjunction with other apps to track my macros. However because this app isn't compatible Apple Health, I have to track my exercises in another app just to accurately track everything. For the next update please let me on Apple Health compatibility.
Used to be reliable but the log started not tracking 3/5
Edit: after some testing, it seems the app does not register or save the first set of workout. I've been just inputting a fake sat of workout before actually recording my workout and the app saved, starting from the second set, to the calendar. Please fix this.
It used to log the workout no matter what, even if I forget to end the workout and sync. But with the latest version, even if I end the workout and sync, it could still not add anything to the log. I've been losing workout records and now have to check the log every time to make sure the workouts are saved, or manually adding them.
Love it 5/5
Good App 4/5
Good app for how I use it, perfect fit.
Future releases 3/5
Wish added weights for me incrementally.
One day review 4/5
Great app for logging workouts. Only complaint, can’t hear the rest timer over music with headphones. Need a different notification sound or ability to make it louder.
Love the app but!! 3/5
But it continues to lose my logs when it syncs. More than half of my hard work is erased when my phone syncs with their site. I save my logs, so what’s really going on. Frustrating totally.
Almost there 5/5
Think the app is great!! Just an idea: it’d be great if a workout/exercise had a notification or something to remind you about a notes you wrote from previous workouts
Love the app and look forward to a complete Apple Watch integration. 5/5
I joined a gym and soon after bought an Apple Watch for it’s health encouragement ability. The first 4 apps I tried were promising, but ultimately for easy to use. When I discovered JEFIT recently, I was ecstatic. Data entry was very easy and even more, the ease for correcting already logged data is wonderful. I don’t know all the ins and outs yet, but really love JEFIT. I look forward to the Watch app working as easily. One addition I might hope for is addition of two photos on the custom apps, so I could duplicate the how to pucks on the established exercises.
Keep up the good work. 👍
A bit cumbsy as a simple logger 3/5
The app requires too much jumping between branches. Rather that a calender tied to a logger the logger is tied to the calendar. And any log entries between about 12am-2am stores on the next calendar day. Ya have to remember to move them back to the correct day the next morning. Its been this way thru several updates. Think I need a simpler app for my needs.
