Love this 5/5
By Busy medical professional
So easy to use on the go!
*A great tool to aid learning a new language 4/5
I don’t feel that Rosette Stone as a stand alone would fully teach you a new language, but When combined with books or classes, it is fantastic.
The hard part is pronunciation.
The app is very lenient when it comes to hearing what you are saying when in the voice sections.
I’d suggest first learning the “alphabet” of the language you are planning to studying.
Especially if it’s a more symbol based language.
As well as proper pronunciation of those symbols. It’s hard to decipher an audio clip when you can’t see the mouth movement of the person speaking.
This will help you tremendously!
Other than that and the bad touch detection, it’s helpful and well designed.
Worth the money IMO
Great for when you’d like to study with something interactive rather than a text book.
I love this app 5/5
It is so much fun and you are learning !!
I love this app and it helps me a lot but it would be cool if it had voice recognition because I was playing in a bowling ally but it was confused and it took a long time to hear the word
Thanks for finally doing this! Makes an already easy program....easier! I have been using this for years and it works well as a foundation for any language you choose to study. I am studying both Chinese and Russian. It works great.

RosettaStone, layer by layer, is painting my soul with a soft and soothing China love... thank you from the bottom of my heart, ❤️ Raoul.

Rosetta Stone French is Great 5/5
So I own the computer software but decided to give this a go because it’s so handy. For less than ten bucks a month it really is nice to use. I really enjoy it. At first I was really hesitant because there are free apps like Duolingo out there but this is really just so much better. Duolingo seemed okay before but I'm finding errors with it now. I just don't like it nearly as much. With the newest update you really just can't beat Rosetta Stone.
The best language skills app 5/5
With the Rosetta Stone app, I can learn a new language with relative ease! It gives me core lessons and pronunciation skills that are fun and informative. It’s like having a language teacher in the palm of my hands. This app helps me remember everything I’ve learned and apply my new language skills in real life.
Do not get! 1/5
The app is super buggy and not helpful at all! I deleted it within the few minutes I got it because I wasn’t learning anything! If I could give zero stars I would, absolutely awful app. Would not recommend to people who are beginners or even people who know some of the language they are learning.
Rosetta Stone 5/5
Rosetta Stone is much improved since we can now use Bluetooth technology with the app. Love to use in my spare time.
Two thumbs way up 5/5
By The last Awesomosaurus
This works so well I learned about 20 words in Spanish in 5 minutes
I am learning French and it makes it so easy to learn it
Forces you to learn 4/5
I am learning French in this app forces you to pay attention to the details of the picture in order to get the correct answer. I do wish sometimes they would go over what new words they are using and their meaning therefore I would better have a good understanding of what answer I need to choose but other than that this app is great for people trying to learn a new language. I use this app along with Duolingo and they work hand-in-hand.
Man this works! 5/5
This app is so wonderful! It’s so helpful and has great methods! If you want to learn a language, get this app today!
Conjugate list is needed 5/5
By Laura Phipps
I took Italian at UC Berkeley. A novice will have a hard time if there is not a conjugate list proved to explain things. People will forget when and how to make things plural for masculine and feminine people.
The app is very easy to use 5/5
Good forward content with easy Interface. I also like the flow of it and visit one subject then goes back to it in different point of view help you learn Deeper.
Best Spanish app 5/5
THIS IS THE MOST FUN SPANISH APP
Interesting and very interactive 👍
I wouldn't recommend just learning it from here, I have a teacher to learn to. But this is great for extra practice!
When I’m listening and clicking the sound it won’t show any of the options and I click the same one 3 times and on the third time it’s right. Something broke with IOS 11 please fix
Latest update is buggy 1/5
It doesn’t store what I’ve done, I keep on redoing the same thing. PLEASE FIX
Landscape mode only 1/5
Useless for learning on the go since it locks you into landscape mode and you have to use two hands. I’ll stick to Rosetta on pc and Duolingo on mobile.
Photos are too small for use on Large iPhone 1/5
I have a Large screen iPhone and can not see the small photos at all when having to make choices. Ridiculous. Have tried many many language apps and this one I can not even use. Big thumbs down.
Excellent introduction 5/5
Verbs and pronouns without a lecture
Fun and effective 5/5
So far, this is more fun and I think more effective than Babbel. This feels more natural and less like school.
Great software to learn new language:)
Needs to be fixed before anyone else buys. 1/5
Don’t buy any lesson packs until they fix this issue. For every single exercise, the hint menu pops up. I have to click out of it for every single exercise, which adds up to hundreds of times for each unit. For $130, they need to fix this issue ASAP. Other than that, this would be a great app. I will update once it is fixed.
Fun and interesting!
To may bugs doesn't even let you push anything
A must have 5/5
By Hey 1294
I’ve learned so much in very little time. It’s a great way to learn a new language.
Worth the money 5/5
By App User1010101
I am learning Spanish! Great teaching system. Worth every cent.

I wanted to go to the second lesson but I had to buy a package to do so. Can't do that.
Great interface and easy to use 4/5
Difficult to see. I don’t feel that the app fully utilized the screen space that is available, and that is a very important thing on the mobile app. I see a ton of empty space, while the photos are too small to see. They do give you the ability to long press a photo and see it as a larger photo, but I find myself doing that to every photo. Also in the lessons when the last card and a lesson requires no action is simply there to contribute to the end of the story in that specific set, it moves onto the next Slide to quickly for you to read what was written on the last card.
App costs 200$!!! 2/5
This app was great…until it said buy all lessons for 200$
Fun and easy to use 4/5
I enjoy the app. I'd enjoy it even more if it didn't ask me to write a review every 5 minutes
By fr antonious younan
Thanks for this app
Kinda good but.... 2/5
It costs over 100 dollars to learn just one language. It’s really a good program but I wish it didn’t cost money.
Almost perfect 4/5
Such a great app! I’m half way through the lessons and I feel like I have learned so much! I’m traveling today to the country where the language is spoken so I’m really excited to start using my new skills. BUT... I do agree that it is really annoying when you try to hit the button to hear the phrase, but the button is so small that if you don’t tap it exactly right it thinks you selected it and you get it wrong. Also, after the most recent iOS update, on each exercise the help instructions open every single time! I have to click somewhere outside the shaded box to close it and it starts over again. But it’s on every single exercise. I’m planning to buy more languages but please fix these 2 issues!
Glitch galore, poor customer service 1/5
I moved to China, and wanted to purchase this app so that I could Learn Chinese, in what I hoped to be a fun way. The idea behind the exercises themselves is pretty nice. Keeps you entertained, when they work. But the app is downright awful.
Even having Chinese native speakers attempt to speak the words, it often won’t pick the words up correctly. It gives you only traditional characters even when the “simplified characters” is selected in settings. The lessons often have glitches that make them
Impossible to complete. It’ll have you pick from 2 to 4 options after saying a word to you, yet all the options are blank, therefore leaving you up to guessing which one is the word they spoke. I wish I could add screen shots here to explain.
On top of that, if you’re not in the USA, forget about downloading any extras like the “extended lessons.” They won’t download offline, let alone stream.
But the worst part about it all, is the customer service. If you contact Rosetta Stone, they say that they’re not in charge of the app and you have to speak to Apple. If you call Apple, they tell you to reach out to Rosetta Stone. Not having live customer service unless your computer is registered from inside America, means you need a vpn just to communicate with them. Which is getting harder and harder to do in China.
Upon “purchasing” the app, I reached out to Rosetta Stone looking to see if I could add any features (live conversation, games, etc). Long story short, they let me know that, while they’re not in charge of the app itself, they felt obligated to let me know that what I “purchased” (the button literally says “buy language”) is actually just a 1 year subscription to access only the app for 12 months for $199. But if I had purchased Rosetta Stone, the physical copy which costs $179, I would get the CDs with lifetime use, as well as 24 months of live tutoring help and access to the app. Of course, they don’t let anyone know that until after the 30 day return policy. To which then Apple won’t even refund you.
Needless to say it hasn’t been a fun, friendly, or pleasurable experience. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone, and hope this review deters all who read it from purchasing it. Blessings to all those attempting to learn a second language!
Won’t restore purchase 1/5
Purchased via google play store. $200 effing dollars. Won’t recognize I’ve already paid for my full language. Rosetta is dead. Mondly is $47 a year, it’s like Rosetta Stone, and I can use it on any device; SUCCESSFULLY!
Great for sales 5/5

Shabbat Shalom. It's a lil harder than I thought. People you gotta take notes and plenty of practice. I keep you posted. Thanks for your time, support and concern.
Still a lot of problems to get it up and loading the lessons. Overall it's a 10+!!!!

Dude, if you wrote a bad report on this, then you just don't want to learn these languages. This app is amazing. It lets you pick a language. There are tons of them. I'm learning German. I thought it'd be hard, but now that I got Rosetta Stone, it's WAY easier! I love this, and if you want to learn another language, then you should download this. I want to be bilingual in case I visit a European country. This is so fun that I'm going to use improper grammar. This game is the funnest game ever. I used such bad grammar during that sentence, but it's true. This game is awesome. It's free and fun, and there are basically no ads! This is THE BEST...

Awesome app I love it.
Should Be FREE! 𗀾🚩🚩🚩 3/5
Like another poster said, it's difficult to figure out what the images 🌁🌄 are sometimes (ex; whether children in the pictures are boys or girls, 👥 what activity is going on... and other things like that.) 👓👀🙈
With this in mind, I find it difficult to justify the high cost of this program when it's creators, who use photos OFTEN in guiding it's users through the language learning process, cannot even be bothered to at least make sure it uses images that are extremely clear to us learners, who MUST know exactly what is happening in the images in order to answer correctly.
That is not the case though. I fail most questions because I am spending so much time trying to figure out whether the person/people are male or female and what it is they are doing in the images. For instance, and this is only one example.... an image had one "person" drinking maybe, but whatever was going on was so dark that it really was not clear what they were doing, holding or anything.
Then there are parts where it listens to us repeat what is being said, in order to evaluate whether our pronunciation is correct and make sure we are saying things properly. Letting us know whether we said it correctly or not. If not, it allows us to try it again until we say it correctly.
However, It becomes extremely difficult to believe that this program is capable of knowing whether ANYTHING we repeat back is actually being evaluated, since it tells me I'm correct about 99% of the time when it should have ABSOLUTELY been marked WRONG. 📵
Like when it evaluates sounds or words from voices other than mine which aren't even close to what it SHOULD sound like.
Such as a random voice 🗣 coming from the TV suddenly or someone who unexpectedly pops in my room to say something quickly, that once again, is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the words or sentence I am meant to repeat to the app. Often times it will accept ANYTHING I say as correct. I REALLY wanted to continue trying with other lessons but so far it has not convinced me that it should be a PAID app. Especially the amount of money being charged for this! 💰💸𗀹🚩
Super learning tool 5/5
Really absorbing everything by all the different ways of learning. Great app
