Good product however 4/5
By T mccabe
Great product but wish it had more translations for words that aren’t as clear
Pretty Solid 4/5
Easier than I thought it would be. The app was a little glitchy however.
Should expand languages 4/5
Level it takes one to you could not really call proficient. For example, the Irish course might give you the ability to read the random Irish Billboard sign, perhaps. Go more in depth Rosetta.
Didáctico y Pedagógico 5/5

Es el método más didáctico y pedagógico para el aprendizaje de un idioma .......
Trial is pretty good 3/5
I learned a few words in German but it’s locked after like the 4th lesson and I want to change to another language already. Too bad I can because it won’t let you.
Won’t open 1/5
The app won’t open on my iPhone X with the latest iOS firmware. Plse fix
Thanks a lot 5/5
The phone App doesn’t pause after each session to let u read the words after a listening section. But other than that, the app is very well done.
not that great, could be better 1/5
By Ellie Singedali
i think that the idea for this app is very good, however every time i try to pronounce a word/sentence it says that i do not pronounce it correctly. i continue to try and try and it doesn’t work when other times it works perfectly fine. i feel that the quality could be much better.
I am very impressed with the outline and time taken out to prepare such easy and well structured teaching /learning course. In my opinion any age group from infant, to child, young adults adults and elderly can comprehend this study plan with accuracy and ease quite quickly. It is an investment worth pursuing and purchasing. Thank you for your hard work in creating a plan that work for anyone.
Worst customer service 3/5
Do not I repeat do not use them. Their customer service is non existent. I’ve called and tried to open a service ticket with no success. No help anywhere just a bunch of tech voicemails. Waste of time and money. Use Duolingo instead - at least they are reliable.
Updated: I did eventually receive a response from a ticket I created online and they did resolve the issue. I updated to 3 stars, but it took over a week to get any response and their customer service is still very lacking.
By Nothing on the down low!
Couldn't get it to down load :( Tried and Tried, went to tech support, nothing, couldn't get through for help! Finally had to cancel my purchase. I was sooooo excited to get going with this!
Waste of money 1/5
By Mat xb
Very expensive and not worth it. I’ve been using this often for over a year. I much prefer Duolingo which is free! I’ve been able to learn much more via that app and their podcast.
Heavy app. Buggy IOS 1/5
And there are independent chats. Currently I have been waiting for chat response for 10 minutes... really???
It’s good and I feel like it’s helping me a lot. Sometime though the speech doesn’t say anything but all you have to do is press play button. I feel it’s a good app though
Still dry as dust 2/5
I bought Rosetta Stone as computer software years ago. I never made it very far into the first cd. I thought I would try it again and was happy to see there is an iPad app (included when you purchase the full version of the program). It’s the same program just formatted for a mobile device. It’s by far the most expensive program I’ve seen today it. Judging by the number of people who have given it five stars, I suppose it must work if you can get through the lessons; however, I find them to be tedious at best. Surely by now they could have found a better way to present the material in a more interesting fashion. You can get onto a computer and access some games to help spice things up but, again, you have to go to a computer for that, which is not convenient for everyone. Maybe the developers should take a cue from other companies to have updated their learning apps with more modern approaches, as those widely available if you search under the brain games category.
This is the same program that has been out for well over 10 years. I can’t figure out why it would have any bugs at this point, yet they seem proud that they continue to update their app stating they have removed more of these alleged bugs.
People learn when they are having fun or are at least interested in the content. I feel like I could look at this program in a workbook and get the same benefit from what I get having it in digital format.
Also, I know my pronunciation is not very good, particularly rolling the “r”s. Yet, despite having the settings at the hardest level, it usually tells me I sound perfect. How is this helping me?
When I sit down to practice my Spanish, I force myself to do a couple of components from Rosetta Stone but find myself way more excited to put that chore behind me and move on to other apps where the the material is incorporated into games & more enjoyable interfaces.

So far I love the ease which Rosetta allows me to learn Chinese making feel like it’s a challenging game. I can continue where I left off and learn in bursts using my iPhone when I have a spare moment here and there in my day. I can easily review vocabulary and practice speaking with the correct tones. I wish they had a learning Tamil series which was what I was seeking when I distracted myself with Rosetta’s Chinese as they made it easier than other companies Learning Tamil apps! Fancy learning a Chinese as a distraction because it was such fun !
Seems good 4/5
It is by farvthe most expensive and i experienced a couple of glitches when using the app for the first time.
Is to weak when you say something different it’s still marking it right
Good for a little while 3/5
By get a cat now
It’s a wonderful app it is great for the beginners until you finish core lesson one then it’s another story to pay all at once to use the app it’s like $100-$200 like what the heck no way somebody will waste their money on a app that just wants so much from you just to give you a little LITTLE information I’d rather sit in my boring Spanish class at school where I learned the same thing for 6 years straight so basically use until core lesson 1 and don’t waste your money beyond that unless if your rich and you don’t care but I’m not so yeah have a good time with the app while you can for free
Worst learning system 1/5
I’ve learned Chinese with Berlitz and Spanish with Pimsleur programs. In the time it took to learn with those programs, I’d say I learned about 1/4 as much with Rosetta Stone.
Their flawed system has absolutely NO DEFINITIONS to the pictures they show you, so you don’t know if the foreign word means sugar, salt, or the color white. Their customer service is useless and is also incapable of answering questions regarding the flawed teaching program.
Basically you are paying for a guessing game, not a teaching system. I tried it for 6 months and was extremely disappointed in how useless it was in helping me learn a new lesson compared to previous programs.
Great program 5/5
By Viktor Chornobay
Probably the best language learning program out there.
So fun and easy!!! Had I known was so user friendly.:::: 5/5
I love this!!! I only wish I would of invested in this years ago. It's so easy and fun! I look toward to my lessons and a chance to practice.
I learn a lot 1st session!!! Wow 😎👍🏻!
Great app! But.. 5/5
I am learning French on this app. It is very fun and easy to pick up. I know that some other languages aren’t very easy, but this one was a challenge. Or rathe, a more fun challenge!

Great learning method👍🏾 Major sticky factor with the visuals and it’s like having a tutor with the pronunciation correction exercise too.
Learning a lot 5/5
Getting there on my Spanish, it’s been a goal of mine to learn Spanish forever but I’m finally getting around to it. This software is making it easy to to learn on my time.
It’s awesome 5/5
It’s really good to learn
Good program, but it’s too expensive 4/5
Still to many bugs 3/5
Now Updated for V5
The new design is great. But there are still a lot of bugs - so was it even tested before launch?
1. Bose QC35 Bluetooth Headset - beeps between each sentence - "sentence – beep – sentence – beep” – seems like the App disconnects from the Bluetooth Audio channel between every sentence vs just muting it. That will cause issues with many BT headsets
2. Memory leaks? I have to force-restart the app quite often (iPad Pro 12.9 Gen I) – else often text, audio or prompts just fail to materialize. When Audio fails to materialize it is sometimes possible to press the play button to get the audio and then it will work for a few more questions and then break again. This issue is there with/without headset and not related to above.
3. NO TEXT ENTRY? So, iPad version does NOT give you the WRITING parts of the course. I do understand iPhone – but on a Tablet? Writing should be fully supported.
That means to get writing you have to use the insecure Adobe FLASH based software on their website. (When are Rosetta going to change that….. Even Adobe has given up on Flash)
4. Dealing with “speech” – the speech recognition thing works ok for the most part. But it is not tolerant to thinking breaks/pauses – or any slight noise like the drop of a pen. It often cuts you off – or stops listening mid-sentence – or stop before it even gets an “Ehh”
5. Sync between devices – this is now random at best. Sometimes it works and updates other times I have to force-restart the app on one device – to get status on the the other device (probably same issue as #2)
So still 3 stars from here. It is better but times have moved so I expect more :)
My experience using the app has been very disappointing. For several months, it kept on hanging and knocking me out of my lessons. I complained to tech support a couple of times, they asked me to reload, but still did not resolve the issue. I had to abandon it and switch to classroom lessons. One year after abandoning, I go an auto-charge for renewal!!! When I complained, all they did was to turn it off! No references to my initial complaints! To me, they are more interested in the money and fraudulent!
Love It 5/5
So convenient to learn another language in ones spare time from your cellphone!!!!! Goals!!!!!!
Great except the teeny text on the new iPhone X 3/5
Hard to read super small text on new iPhone X screen- omg what size is that font??? Like nano text.
Good. But not a five star good. 4/5
By Brian Candreva
It’s all wonderful. It really wasn’t a shocker when you had to sign up for a subscription, but what hit me was that you repeat the words, yet, you have know idea what it means.
I downloaded this app to see if and what they had in Greek (even though I already know Greek). When I started the basics course I realised that the spelling was wrong. In Greek eat is Τρώω, on the app it spelled it with only one ω. As I progressed deeper into the app I noticed several different misspellings. Other people who don’t know the language will not realise this mistake but I do. There could be more wrong things in other language lessons. I don’t speak any other language so I don’t know. I don’t like this app and I would not recommend it to someone else.
App keeps crashing... help! 1/5
This app looks awesome and I’m trying to learn Hebrew to help me more deeply understand the Old Testament/prepare for some mission trips... however, it keeps crashing and shutting down in the middle of a lesson. It literally just takes me back to my home screen and when I open it again it asks if I’d like to report the crash. Hoping somebody sees this review and can help me out! I’d change my review in a heartbeat if it would stop crashing.
Great app! 5/5
Deutsche Lernen 4/5
Great app unless you’re old like me. The images are too small. Great fun though when you’re learning on the run.
No Romanian 1/5
By Ninos iPhone
Does not have Romanian, for all the Rosetta Stone this and that the first time I actually have a need for this and it has not.
Never ever will use anything Rosetta Stone.
This app is amazing! 5/5
By Competitive Drowner
This really helped me
So far so good 5/5
I’m only on the third lesson but so far I love this app. I am learning and retaining information.

Learning is fun 5/5
By Seaside Maggie
I find this to be an enjoyable way to study a difficult language. Although it’s pricey, it’s by far the best app for the job.
This learning tool has helped me learn German to communicate with family members from Germany. I am so thankful to have been recommended this amazing app.
Simple and fun 5/5
This is the fastest and most simple way of learning another language.
The app is great but I have one problem 4/5
The app is very educational!! Which is great! It’s always fun to learn a new language! But... I seem to have a problem.. I get like 5 or 6 emails a day from this app, and it kinda gets annoying. So I decided to delete the app for a day or two to see if it would stop, and it didn’t!!! It still sent 5 or 6 emails WHEN the app is deleted. But it’s totally fine if I got one email a day or week WHEN I have the app
But other then that app is Great 👍🏻😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Italian iPhone version 5/5
iPhone version better for me than the computer version to review and relearn Italian
Don’t understand 2/5
I know your trying to teach people with pictures and everything but I want to learn what it means in English. I know that some people needs better grammar and punctuation. But this is also meant for learning a NEW LANGUAGE. It’s hard to find a app to relied on one, I made a huge mistake to use this one. It’s no good to learn a language. They use pictures for us to know but it’s not working it’s pretty useless. Not a lot of people understand what the word, particle, verb, etc. is. I’m sorry but I don’t want this app for learning korean.
