I don't know whether I should rate it 5 stars for enjoying it or for Taylor's sense of humor and pop culture reference!
Just as enjoyable as the first part 5/5
I have to preface all my reviews of these games with: stuff like this normally isn't my thing. I don't enjoy the digital choose your own adventure type games at all, and on the surface that is what these seem to be.. But they're not. You are actually communicating with the hero of the story. Granted you can't choose what to say, but the options they give you work very well. You get invested in the story and the character's well being.
In this particular episode, you're following up on the life of someone from another episode. It was honestly nice to hear from him again and see what he was up to. His personality was still the same, and I liked this virtual person enough that I was concerned for his safety. The plot was interesting and not too transparent, and the varied wait times between messages seemed appropriate and made things funner.
If you're on the fence about these games and have the change to spare, I would say go for it. I was very hesitant at first and ended up going for a package deal with several of these games and I'm really glad I did. I think they are now my favorite game app on my phone.
Never played anything like it 5/5
By NOGIB, No Other Game Is Better
Played "Lifeline: Whiteout" because it was free for the week... but amazingly, it was just enough to get me hooked. The Lifeline series is pretty simplistic yet genius. Each game has its own interesting plot that not only keeps me engaged for hours, but days! The game is heavily dependent on your decision making skills & logical thinking. Help your radio com buddy push forward and make the right decisions! Not every path you take is the correct one, I've sadly killed the protagonist multiple times due to careless decisions and hypnotic aliens; The replay value for this game is great. Trust me when I say it's worth the dollar.
Not as good as the previous two. 4/5
By wide range
While it is fun game, I felt it took a wrong turn near the end. (Avoiding spoilers) There could have been some better ending options similar to the other games.
Good news is that I am already in the middle of playing the next two games by Lifeline. They are great. Overall, I enjoy their games. For now, I am buying every game they put out (I just bought two more that I haven't started yet).
I have every single one and they are all amazing. 5/5
Best game ever
Landscape mode! 1/5
By N/A 1234
I use an iPad and not allowing landscape makes this essentially unusable for me since I never use an iPad in portrait mode.
Another heartfelt Taylor adventure. 5/5
I really love this story sets.
I own all the games and just finished my 2nd one, this game.
I will continue to buy these games, as you have done amazingly.
I recommend everyone play the game. But ultimately find the path to the ULTIMATE final ending. They are great.

Has a great story with amazing characters
GREAT GAME! 5/5
To be honest, these games are amazing! I'm super addicted but they should remove the fast skip wait feature cause that just s ruins the game cause at some point the character's like "OH MY GOD" then they get knocked out and it says "_____ is busy" and you want to see what happens so you put fast skip mode on. Its really! Tempting!
Still a fan 5/5
Really enjoyed the pace and story of the game. So choices were a little train-tracked, but I still loved it and the method of delivering it.
Get lost in this app 5/5
They did it again. Another story that I found myself lost in. I love the concepts and I love the premise of the story. Great work. I've played 3 different ones so far and I'm excited to try Whiteout right now!
TAYLOR WAKE UP YOU MAGPIE 5/5
Taylor... I love him. Like if he was a person in real life I would marry him. I cried last time when he left for a while and I flipped out when the aliens came. This is a great game and I'm glad I thought to check it out again. I just wish Taylor would wake up already so I can pamper him. Other than the real life timing... a pro and con... I love everyone who made this game for bringing me Taylor. PLAY THIS GAME BUT BE WARNED
TAYLOR IS MINE. CLAIM SET. DONE. LOCKED IN. Yay!
Highly engrossing, but the original was better. 5/5
By Helpy welpy!
I loved this game and was glad I had another adventure to lead Taylor on. It was definitely fun and engrossing, but I think the original is better.
this game is so good 5/5
By rosie is really cool
i cried. i actually cried. when he died. what did i do wrong,,,, could i have stopped it ? yes. but i could not restart because he died. taylor. my dearest friend. i loved him. taylor. in short, i recommend this game.
i went online and found a tutorial replayed this and got the best possible ending. this is good. i am happy.
Better than the second 4/5
But, like the second, too many corny pop culture references, burying the game's creepiness and gravitas.
Very short, even having killed Taylor 2-3 times.
This is an awesome game I fell like I am actually in it 5/5
Definitely get this game it is so worth it
That was pure amazing 5/5
By retnuH m'I
That was a great story can wait to play infinity
Great game 5/5
It was great to help Taylor to survive
Please make a third one with Taylor. Taylor seems so real and human, and the pop culture references were fun. They shouldn't be too out of age range, the dark crystal one I actually got, because I read the book and watched the movie. I feel like Taylor is real, because they seem so realistic. They're really awesome. I refer to Taylor as male, because that's how I imagine them. It actually hurt my feelings when I ran into a path that Taylor dies in, because I am emotionally and mentally attached to them. I want Taylor to make it home to earth. I don't want Taylor lost in space and left that way please.
Silent Night 5/5
Amazing game 5/5
Clunky Ui but very cool game 4/5
The notifications are driving me crazy, as I can't get them to go away, so it makes it hard to know when the game is actually ready to progress and when it's just leftover crap. Otherwise, pure awesomeness. The music is atmospheric without being intrusive (even without an internal volume control), the story is submersive, and easy to read back to remind yourself of something.
I really enjoy this series 5/5

Story keeps backtracking 2/5
I have an Apple Watch and every time I open it through that it skips back about 6 responses, it's getting really annoying. The story is fantastic and I love how it continues after the first one. If the problem is ever fixed that would be very helpful.
Great game, but syncing issues 3/5
By Musab Sufyan
I started the story on my iPhone and continued on my Apple Watch. However, when I went back to my iPhone, my Apple Watch progress had not synced and I was taken back to the part of the story where I last played on my iPhone, rendering all the progress I had made on my apple Watch useless. This is a recurring issue as progress on my phone syncs to the Watch, but any progress on my watch fails to sync to my phone, so when I open the phone app it will go back to what it was last time I opened the phone app and overrides all the progress I made on my watch. Is there a solution to this problem? If so, then there aren't really any other issues to this amazing game!
Awesome Story 5/5
Great story fun time
By CelticsChick 03-17-92
I was hooked on the first game so I bought this one and absolutely loved the story!
Lifeline: Silent Night is a sequel to the Original Lifeline, and a good one too. If you liked the original Lifeline, you'll like this one just as much.
The original is a bit more exciting, since it's all new, but this one is just as much fun in my opinion.
If you haven't played the original Lifeline, I highly recommend you do so first! It makes this game all the much better.
How can anyone rate this less than 5 stars?? 5/5
By App user789
This is one of the best games I have played. I loved the original lifeline and saw this one after playing through the first one for the second time. When I started Silent Night I felt that I was meeting an old friend that I hadn't seen in years. (Of course I've never seen Taylor, but you get my point). Thank you to everyone who had a part in creating this amazing story!!!
FAVORITE GAME EVER 5/5
Taylor is such an amazing character! I got so attached to this character I actually cried when the game ended... If the creators of this game actually read these reviews... PLEASE BRING TAYLOR BACK AGAIN. I love this game so much. I actually forgot he wasn't real at a point because he's just so human! I love how this is like a chat kind of set up. Sometimes games get too carried away with the graphics and the story lacks quality and depth. But not this game! It's insane how much I want taylor to be brought back in another app. This app and all the lifelines are amazing and are worth it! But to make this even better please bring back Taylor in another lifeline and make it a bit longer. The first app took me a week or two to complete but this app I finished in a time span of 24 hours (Not continuously). But overall great work! Please continue to make these apps so I can continue annoying my friends about how they have to play them. Awesome job!!!
Goodbye friend 5/5
I loved Taylor. A one in a million character. Thanks to the entire staff for this adventure. It was a beautiful ending to a really unique story!
Addictive game! 5/5
By Lyz Stewart
This is the third Lifeline game I've played so far and they are all addictive! It's great to have a sequel game to Tyler's first adventure! I really feel like I know the main character in the game. The way it's written makes Tyler seem like a real human that you're texting with! I've never played a game quite like this before. Using only text and music the creators make a whole other world come alive that you experience at the same time as the character you're helping. I couldn't put it down! Try one, would be my suggestion. They're not expensive, no in app purchases, just unique and wonderful storytelling! More Lifeline please! :)
Very good 4/5
Felt shorter than the original.
Super addictive 5/5
One of the best games out there
If you know Taylor from before- and even if you dont- this is the trip of a lifetime 5/5
I have played lots of these games and Taylor's story is my favorite. I love this kid, and I always do whatever I can to keep him safe. Can't wait until the next one!
Costs to Much 4/5
I think this game is great just it costs just a little more than it should. 99 cents is enough to pay for a interactive story game
Love these stories 5/5
By The publisher's mom
I got this not really expecting much from it, but the story and the character made it very addictive. I hope there will be more stories with Taylor to come. PLEASE!!!
Cool game 5/5
I've played the original lifeline and it was cool. I'm enjoying this one so far.
I've completed every game but this one! 4/5
I LOVE this whole series, but this one was less interesting. Also, another issue, in my opinion, is that at the end (when the bad spacemen are charging you) there seems to be nothing I can do. I redid it and redid it, yet still no luck. I'm just confused on why Taylor didn't use the gun we picked up previously. Other than that it's good.
Witty, tense adventure 5/5
A great sequel to the first Lifeline.
Crazy 🙌🏾 5/5
3 minute did it again, Taylor's adventures have me hating to wait through the waiting moments
Out of sync with Apple Watch 3/5
Love the game series. But the iPhone app and the Watch app are just totally out of sync! I have two completely independent storylines going on. Annoying!
Awesome, but could be better. 3/5
I recently finished the first Lifeline game, and it was absolutely incredible. In fact, the whole series seems interesting and has a very unique charm to it. I absolutely loved the first one.
Silent Night was also good, but it could have been much better. I found it to be much harder to connect with the characters in this installation of Lifeline, and it was also INCREDIBLY short (being slightly over 24 hours for me).
I would've really enjoyed it better if the game allowed for some downtime to better understand the characters, as things were happening very quickly. My emotional attachment with Taylor was also significantly weaker in this game than it was the first one. I enjoyed Taylor's pop-culture references and jokes, but after a while, they begin to get too frequent and annoying.
To wrap it all up, Taylor was much better in the first Lifeline game. There was a perfect amount of humor and personality added to Taylor to make him seem like an actual human being. He reacted to scenarios in very realistic ways. But in this one, he seemed to make too many references and his character began to slightly differ from the first game.
THIS SERIES WAS AWESOME 5/5
I loved this game series. I was disappointed that I could not save Taylor in the end. I would love to see another lifeline game to come out and to our surprise that Taylor makes a reentrance.
BEST GAME EVER!!!!!! 5/5
I'm back with Taylor again and I REALLY was happy to see he was doing good, until things went sour again.. I really feel like I'm trying very hard to help him out, and for a university student he sure does know a lot about '80s music, which is fine because of my mom I grew up listening to '80s. I feel like I can really help him out in this new adventure!!
Fun Game! 4/5
By Home Enforcer
The first time around I hated that I had to wait in several spots before the story continued but once you get to the end of the game, you have the option to rewind and fast track it which worked out better for me because I have no patience and love playing a game straight through.
Taylor is my second favorite character. Of course Adam is my favorite from Lifeline:Whiteout.
Anyway, those blasted green eyed boogeymen are in this story and I truly had a great time playing this the second time around.
Best game ever 5/5
This is one of the best games I have played in my life
Silent Night 4/5
Silent Night is one of three best games I played up there with Minecraft Story Mode. Taylor's humor made me feel so attached to her and I was so sad when she died.
