Best I can do so far 3/5
It keeps wanting a review even though I haven't finished the game, yet, so three stars is the best I can do.
This game had me tensed up and this game is awesome

Slow (reviewer busy) .......... REALLY slow. 2/5
Okay, I'm a VERY old school gamer, and when I read that this was a 'text adventure' game I got VERY excited, as I was hoping for something similar to what I'd played in my youth.
This is NOT that.
For all I know, the story may eventually become interesting. It's difficult to tell, because I've been playing it for two days and literally nothing has happened. The biggest problem is that Taylor, the character you're communicating with and directing, will actually give you maybe 5-10 lines of dialogue (mostly involving whining about his situation) and then.... go away. To walk, or eat, or whatever. And he will be gone for HOURS. So you wait, and go do other things in your life - except PLAY THE GAME YOU PAID FOR. Because until Taylor comes back, there's nothing you can do. Then he returns to give 5-10 more lines of whiny dialogue, and you will need to make a random decision that has no visible immediate outcome. Then Taylor goes away again for an hour or so. And you go do other things too.
To be honest, I wouldn't even classify this as a game. Its not engaging, and so far not even entertaining. Massively frustrating and dull is probably the best description I can give. I do not recommend.
While not exactly what you'd think of as a typical choose-your-own adventure (it seems they force you down certain paths), the amount of routes you can take and the compelling story itself make you keep playing the game and get you invested in it. Definitely worth the money!
Great game 5/5
Has a really good story and background. Highly recommended!
Love this all the way. Kept me on edgggeee😍👍🏼
This is a really great game. I haven't ever gotten so emotionally invested in a game character before! I really looked forward to hearing from Taylor through my day. I really like that it shows up as notifications on your phone almost like you are being texted by them. My biggest issue with this one is that it definitely could have been longer. If you want to try out an interactive story and like sci fi or mysteries, I'd very much recommend this!
Awesome, Amazing Game! 5/5
I very rarely lose sleep because of something that scared me. After finishing Lifeline, I couldn't sleep! I was scared! It was great! And I love Taylor! I cant wait to play the sequels!

The app is pretty good for the most part. It sometimes feels like it a real person and your actually helping them in real life, but it's nothing more than you messaging him and telling him what to do and when it's time for you to tell him what to do there's only two options you Can choose from. I wish the game had more features like sending you pictures and give you the option to text the message you self rather than choosing one.

This game really submerges the user/player. It's an experience, 'nuff said.
Best game I have ever played! 5/5
I love this game so much! I have replayed the story to choose different options to alter the adventure. It is really touching and sent goosebumps to me as I read it. I recommend this game to everyone who loves sci-fi adventures. Keep up the good work!
Awesome writing/ great on watch 5/5
There are so many things to love about this game.
One unexpected feature is that it prevents me from getting overly involved in it or "addicted" to it and then just burn out. Or worse having to stop playing because it interferes with my focus on real life lol.
But the way the game is designed prevents this from happening since it forces you to pace your communication with the game.
I've played this game far longer than any other because of it.
The humor is top notch, quality writers and game all around.
Great game. Extremely fun~ 5/5
Love it ♥️
Example of the millennial generation 1/5
By Has been Stranded
Millennials will like this app, it obviously was built by a pajama boy that talks snarky irl and has no idea about being stranded.
Love this game! 5/5
Haven't been playing very long (a couple days) but I can tell you this game is well worth buying, even though Taylor is in the peak right now. Which if you have played you will know what I'm talking about. This game is addicting and at the same time the developers make sure you put it down for a while and get back to life. Which in my opinion is something all devs should do!!! Can't wait to buy the other four, personal goal to finish this one first.

The story makes you brain go to another place!!!
OMG this is amazing 5/5
I can't believe how much fun and intensity is in a $1.99 game but it's insane I have only complements and this is the best choose your path game ever!!!!!! Definitely best $1.99 I've ever spent!!!!
Good game but one fatal flaw 4/5

This is a great game and entertaining. The story is great and you can actually put yourself into the shoes of the main character. I often thought that I would react in the same ways myself. The only thing I do not like is all the waiting. I can understand the reasoning for it. The character does something and you have to wait for them in real time. It is an awesome concept, BUT you get 4 or 5 small messages then have to wait a few more hours just to get 4 or 5 more small messages then wait another few hours. If there was more talking between the waiting then I would not have a problem with it. I paid 1.99 for this game and have done nothing but wait and wait. Other games employ this tactic such as Timecrest, but they let you buy gems to speed up the time. I would be more than elated to do that with this game. I know after you beat it you can fast forward the waiting, but that should be an option to begin with.

Lifeline is one of the best choice based games I've ever played, course the game "choices" is the best, sorry lifeline.
Mediocrity Abound 2/5
By Shadow Inferno
Lifeline attempts to create an in depth choose your own adventure style game but fails completely, the point of a choose your own adventure is that the storyline is fluid and dynamic, Lifeline is linear and static. The main character "Taylor" is void of any real personality up until you try to go against the story (which is clearly defined, the complete opposite of a real choose your own adventure) at which point he suddenly grows a spine and forces you back in the direction of where the lazy writer wants you to go. All of this would be fine if this game was 1) Free and 2) Didn't try to pass itself off as an avant garde new style game.
This is the first game of this type I've played, and it's been a roller coaster of fun! I felt like I actually grew a relationship with the character!
He's safe! 5/5
I cried with them and for them so many times. This game was amazing from start to finish. I don't even know how to explain it. I'm still crying.
Great game, don't listen to haters!!! 4/5

I have downloaded this game before on a previous device and only played some of it, but I just redownloaded it and I'm loving it! Overall, there is room for improvement but it keeps you on your toes with the storyline and the main character (Taylor) is witty and entertaining. Some people complain about the choices being limited and the gaps of time between when you play, but I love this game because it's quick enough to do between classes or on the go.
Very fun 5/5
Fun story, very good value, and one of the best iOS games
Immersive, fun, and well written. 5/5
This game, well it's more like an interactive story, is phenomenal. Role playing as some lone cargo pilot on a ship by himself, talking to this man who has crashed on a moons surface in real time is amazing. Alternatively, going from day to day life will talking to Taylor never gets old, and you really do start to care about what happens to him. One of the best apps on here, good job 3 minutes.
Lifeline 3? 5/5
Hi! My name is Leslie and I was just wondering about a Lifeline 3. I was thinking, maybe, to go on with the theory of a fold in the universe. And to have her come out the other side of the fold, or black hole, on planet U33J6 would be incredible. It would be a new beginning, and seeing Taylor again would make my heart skip a beat. She gets on planet U33J6 (which, if you remember, was the planet that they gathered the tunguskite crystal from) and fights off the Greens with the crystals' light. It would be an amazing story that I think everybody would buy. I just hope my connection stay-y-y ca-- hear me-e?
Sorry.... The tunguskites' power is running low. Taylor and I are still working on the basics of the machine...
(What machine?) or (Taylor?)
This game is so awesome!
Movie worthy 5/5
I honestly think you could make a movie out of this story, maybe even silent night combined with it. It's such a great game. (Plus making a movie would give them some money which means more good games)
Pleasant Suprise 5/5
Throughly enjoyed this journey!
Pretty cool... 4/5
I like the Apple Watch integration with this game. Nicely done. However, I don't have the patience to wait for Taylor to act. It just takes way more time than I thought. Maybe I'll try it again later, but for now...deleted.
Could be better 4/5
By Grew it off
Very wonderful and simple. It could be better though. Here are a few suggestions. When closing and re-opening the game, VoiceOver should not start at the very beginning. You should make it to where it will start at the last decision you left off. Also, you should say the time that Taylor is busy
Very interesting! 5/5
Just finished and I loved it!
Very fun if you like reading games 4/5
This was a new way to play a decision making game. A classic combination of left right decision making mixed with the feeling of actually getting text messages from a person in need. Kind of like the movie Cellular (2004). The story pulled you in and made you really worry about the character's well being. I plan on playing the whole lot of the Lifeline games. Good job!
Awesome and creepy
Outstanding story game 5/5
A friend recommended the game, I bought it for a dollar being very optimistic.
Wow, thoroughly impressed with the story, it's not difficult to pretend you're helping someone.
Definitely looking forward to the next one!
Life line 5/5
I love love love this game. Can't resist it
Very immersive (somehow) 5/5
Despite being a series of messages to an astronaut stranded on a moon, this game is very immersive. It's clever writing makes it enjoyable and the story and urgency of the messages seems like your actually being helpful. This was a fun few days.
Great idea! 1/5
By Max 71530006
Awesome idea but it isn't that good of an app. You have to wait a long time when Taylor is busy. I want an improvement. Otherwise, it deserves one sar.
My character died :( but fun 4/5
Keeps me on my toes! 5/5
So far the story is good, and the game makes you really think on the choices you provide this fictional person. All the while the way certain things affect and outcomes of the advice you provide the lone survivor, they make me feel a little feeling on things like the captain dying etc. I hope to continue playing and seeing where my choices and advice lead! Great work and simple gameplay!
The Best Game Ever 5/5
I am arguably a pretty picky guy when it comes to games. I always notice the smallest details that ruin the whole experience. I am glad to say that this has none! A great game haven't touched the App Store in a while, but I believe that this is the next one! Nicely done!
Truly Brilliant! 5/5
This is such a fun game. Great story. Highly recommend it! A choose your adventure type with a lot of suspense.
Amazing game 5/5
I like the fact that you have options throughout the whole game that can kill him or save him. Always pay attention.
I like it 5/5
From what I have played so far I absolutely love it, it's amazing
A five star thriller! 5/5
I'm not the type to pay for games but this one caught my eye and it was an awesome game I highly recommend it if you're looking for a game to keep you on the edge of your seat
Amazing game 10 out of 10
