Lifeline... App

“[A] surprising iPhone and Apple Watch bestseller is pushing the boundaries of fiction” - boingboing.net “This is the best game on the Apple Watch” - Time.com Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. Using your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, you will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together. Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you. A totally unique experience enabled by modern devices, this story plays out in real time. As Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Taylor directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app. Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and see what happens when you make a different choice. Simple actions can have a profound effect. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode. Lifeline is a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Taylor is relying on YOU. NEW in version 1.8: Stick around after the game for a special story epilogue from Dave Justus. For players who have already finished the game, the Sneak Peek becomes available under the game options. Enjoy! Internet connection not required. No in-app purchases and no ads. WATCH US: http://www.youtube.com/c/LifelineGame Praise for Lifeline: “I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo “I felt an immediate attachment to a fictional character pinging me from a strange galaxy to my wearable.” - Luke Hopewell, Gizmodo Australia “[P]laying it on the Apple Watch makes you truly feel like you’re exchanging messages with an astronaut via a futuristic transmitter.” - Michael Andronico, Tom’s Guide “For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer Lifeline was created by: Dave Justus Mars Jokela Dan Selleck Colin Liotta Jason Nowak Ben “Books” Schwartz

  • He's safe! 5/5

    By 28438489
I cried with them and for them so many times. This game was amazing from start to finish. I don't even know how to explain it. I'm still crying.
  • Great game, don't listen to haters!!! 4/5

    By Girl 13**
I have downloaded this game before on a previous device and only played some of it, but I just redownloaded it and I'm loving it! Overall, there is room for improvement but it keeps you on your toes with the storyline and the main character (Taylor) is witty and entertaining. Some people complain about the choices being limited and the gaps of time between when you play, but I love this game because it's quick enough to do between classes or on the go.
  • Very fun 5/5

Fun story, very good value, and one of the best iOS games
  • Immersive, fun, and well written. 5/5

    By tetratarb
This game, well it's more like an interactive story, is phenomenal. Role playing as some lone cargo pilot on a ship by himself, talking to this man who has crashed on a moons surface in real time is amazing. Alternatively, going from day to day life will talking to Taylor never gets old, and you really do start to care about what happens to him. One of the best apps on here, good job 3 minutes.
  • Lifeline 3? 5/5

    By ninjago❤️ninja
Hi! My name is Leslie and I was just wondering about a Lifeline 3. I was thinking, maybe, to go on with the theory of a fold in the universe. And to have her come out the other side of the fold, or black hole, on planet U33J6 would be incredible. It would be a new beginning, and seeing Taylor again would make my heart skip a beat. She gets on planet U33J6 (which, if you remember, was the planet that they gathered the tunguskite crystal from) and fights off the Greens with the crystals' light. It would be an amazing story that I think everybody would buy. I just hope my connection stay-y-y ca-- hear me-e? [connection lost] [establishing connection] [reconnecting] Sorry.... The tunguskites' power is running low. Taylor and I are still working on the basics of the machine... (What machine?) or (Taylor?)

    This game is so awesome!
  • Movie worthy 5/5

    By _Grievpotato
I honestly think you could make a movie out of this story, maybe even silent night combined with it. It's such a great game. (Plus making a movie would give them some money which means more good games)
  • Pleasant Suprise 5/5

    Throughly enjoyed this journey!
  • Pretty cool... 4/5

    By Quimby315
I like the Apple Watch integration with this game. Nicely done. However, I don't have the patience to wait for Taylor to act. It just takes way more time than I thought. Maybe I'll try it again later, but for now...deleted.
  • Could be better 4/5

    By Grew it off
Very wonderful and simple. It could be better though. Here are a few suggestions. When closing and re-opening the game, VoiceOver should not start at the very beginning. You should make it to where it will start at the last decision you left off. Also, you should say the time that Taylor is busy
  • Very interesting! 5/5

    By Lale102
Just finished and I loved it!
  • Very fun if you like reading games 4/5

    By Havzeez
This was a new way to play a decision making game. A classic combination of left right decision making mixed with the feeling of actually getting text messages from a person in need. Kind of like the movie Cellular (2004). The story pulled you in and made you really worry about the character's well being. I plan on playing the whole lot of the Lifeline games. Good job!

  • Outstanding story game 5/5

    By Hexxus69
A friend recommended the game, I bought it for a dollar being very optimistic. Wow, thoroughly impressed with the story, it's not difficult to pretend you're helping someone. Definitely looking forward to the next one!
  • Life line 5/5

    By japaniel
I love love love this game. Can't resist it
  • Very immersive (somehow) 5/5

    By sbfields
Despite being a series of messages to an astronaut stranded on a moon, this game is very immersive. It's clever writing makes it enjoyable and the story and urgency of the messages seems like your actually being helpful. This was a fun few days.
  • Great idea! 1/5

    By Max 71530006
Awesome idea but it isn't that good of an app. You have to wait a long time when Taylor is busy. I want an improvement. Otherwise, it deserves one sar.
  • My character died :( but fun 4/5

    Great
  • Keeps me on my toes! 5/5

    By MasterChief2676
So far the story is good, and the game makes you really think on the choices you provide this fictional person. All the while the way certain things affect and outcomes of the advice you provide the lone survivor, they make me feel a little feeling on things like the captain dying etc. I hope to continue playing and seeing where my choices and advice lead! Great work and simple gameplay!
  • The Best Game Ever 5/5

    By SirSavage777
I am arguably a pretty picky guy when it comes to games. I always notice the smallest details that ruin the whole experience. I am glad to say that this has none! A great game haven't touched the App Store in a while, but I believe that this is the next one! Nicely done!
  • Truly Brilliant! 5/5

The first time I played this I was like 8 and at the end I was like (spoiler alert) wait what happened did she die is she ok did she leave the planet so many unanswered questions
  • Masterfully done 5/5

    By dgsinclair
This choose your own adventure story is really well done engaging and well-timed. I wish there were more paths to death and maybe a better way to restart but those are minor quibbles. This is tremendous I've played through twice.
  • a simple hello could lead to a million things. 5/5

    By scarcehippo
exploration is the essence of the human spirit. a simple hello could lead to a million things. feeling connected to each other is a basic human need and the greatest gift you can give another is the purity of your attention. if only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet. to people you never even dreamed of. this shared story deeply nurtures your human connection. and I gladly applaud this game.
  • Love it! Endearing!! 5/5

I downloaded this game about a year ago and never finished it. I'm not sure why..... I Can't wait to play the next ones!
  • Is a must buy! 5/5

    By Khang4856
Holy crud, i thought this game was boring but they proved me wrong! This game has anticipation, suspense, comedy, there are choices you have to make which either result in life or death, an all around best thriller. (Der is so much suspense 😱)
  • Awesome game 5/5

I usually don't write a review but this app is probably the coolest thing I've ever gotten. Worth every penny!
  • Engrossing 5/5

Kept waiting for my next message. Simple but very enjoyable game!!
  • Love the story 5/5

    By Ronniegsmith
I am totally into this story. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long to journey through it waiting on Taylor to get back to me.
  • Lifeline 5/5

By Wish I hadn't beat it...
It is really fun, and it is realistic. When Taylor sleeps, you have to wait 8 hours. When he is walking somewhere, you wait for him. It is fun and engaging for me, but some people say it is too slow for them.
  • Awesome!! 5/5

The characters and story are fantastic! App runs well with no crashes, and is worth my money.
  • Diferentes idiomas🇦🇷🇲🇽🇳🇱 5/5

    By David Bryamd
  • Amazing 5/5

    By adictide
I've never liked games that need lots of reading for it, but I enjoyed ever bit of this game. The suspense keeps me on my toes and I can wait to play the silent night.
  • What an experience 5/5

    By Kboog22
The only fault in this game? It wasn't longer. Throughout the journey, you form a connection with Taylor, who is just like you or me. You laugh with him, grieve with him, ball your fists up sigh in frustration right along with him. Guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. I could not recommend more.
  • Fun 5/5

  • Not worth paying for 2/5

    By Jf53pikas
So I made what I thought would be a rational decision about 10 minutes in game and character died. Had to start at beginning all over again. So not real impressed especially for 2.00 dollars
  • Great Distractor 5/5

    By hominid
I can say that sitting through a redundant meeting where I cannot extract my phone, that the subtle interaction with this game is a life saver. Fun, quirky, and can be played on the sly (under the table with infrequent glances). It Is a harmless distraction for droll encounters.
  • Great in all respects 5/5

    By CoNflictIRL
Great story, cant wait to finish the others, sucked me right in.
