    Great App!!!
  • Developers: debug and fix your code... 2/5

... and run it on the actual hardware you compiled it for on Xcode -- or what Xcode "claims" it will run on. (Granted, Apple is a blatant trainwreck after Steve Jobs passed away, and with Cook at the helm, it gets worse by the second. Everything Apple doles out now is an outright embarrassment). Why is this -- or ANY iPad app -- forced into portrait mode? If this isn't occurring to EVERY user of this app, then it's most likely another testament to Apple/its products being complete junk. I speak from endless experience: any given Apple employee I've dealt with couldn't be more clueless, inept, rude, and arrogant. Add to that Apple's "app stores" are as pathetic as Google's... Wow. Hello, Microsoft! You now offer *everything* that is top notch... And I know you are witnessing hoards of ex-diehard Apple users bolt right on over to you. 👍
  • Landscape on tablet 2/5

    By ttmwbtdfd
The tool itself seems solid but I rarely use it due to the bizarre lack of landscape support on iPad. Something that feels more like 2010 than 2017.

Good app, when it works. Now I can't even open it without it crashing. I have 17 notifications, but can't actually open it go read them.
  • No job specificity 1/5

    By BreakDanceGabe
I have a search for VP and CEO jobs. It alerts me several times a day about jobs as a graphic designer, administrative assistant, and other technical roles that have nothing to do with the executive level. Not only is it inaccurate, but the notifications on irrelevant jobs is a huge nuisance.
  • Great app 5/5

  • A "Must-Have" App for any Job Seeker! 5/5

    By Robert Aymond
What an awesome tool for anyone & everyone looking for a job! Not only does it allow you to see all companies who are hiring, which are related to your defined field of expertise, it also details the specific requirements for each job. From there you are able to save the job posting, apply for it, or both. It also links you directly to each of the companies website, to apply for the jobs or create your profile on their website. You can also use your Linked-In account information as your resume! This is a great tool!

  • Uploading a Resume is Nearly Impossible 1/5

    By CRSlack
This interfaces with employer application systems but it is nearly impossible to upload and attach a resume. It keeps throwing a communications error.
  • Very useful job search app 5/5

    By Sadatus
I've a job but still feel addicted to this app. Was very useful during my job search and the 2 offers I received were jobs I discovered through the app.
  • Ehh 2/5

    By JackyyyH
It's a good idea but I constantly get notifications for jobs that aren't even close to what I'm looking for or are all over the state. Mind you I have my search radius set to 25 miles from me and I still get alerts for jobs that was hours away.
  • Do not load this app 1/5

    Great app!
  • Best job app 5/5

    By Din the big d
Linked in provides the most applicable jobs of all of the services I've tried. I also like that it tells you who you know at the company.
  • Terrible 1/5

    By Ken Greenwood
App needs to to orient to Landscape format. So annoying that I have to flip to portrait mode every time I use the app. Also filtering needs to be better to tailor results.
  • Awful 1/5

    By Shrinking
I put in a search for President & CEO and got back van driver jobs and a ton of listings for JoAnn fabrics. I get 1 pertinent listing out of 15. No clue what's up with their software but someone needs to do a overhaul.
  • Buggy 1/5

I deleted this app for a while because it was very buggy when scrolling through job searches...just re-downloaded on the off chance it was fixed and it still isn't.
  • I got the job 5/5

    By Upod12
I was able to find my dream job with this app. The filter works amazing. I just wish that more companies would use the easy apply feature.

  • Please add landscape mode 3/5

    By jhonkaman
The app is ok. I would rate it higher if it had landscape mode, like the regular LinkedIn app.
  • Not Impressed 2/5

    By bitterlibrarian
While the application has filters to sort jobs, the aren't very helpful. Perhaps it is the types of jobs I'm looking for have something to do with it, but my feed is constantly clogged with volunteer positions & recruitment or staffing firms. It's admirable that LinkedIn wants to encourage people to partner with volunteer organizations, but I use my various job apps to find _paying_ positions. If I want to volunteer I'll go to Taproot or another organization directly. The filters could also be improved by being able to delete or "uncheck" certain companies, instead of only just being able to put a check next to the name. I should be able to eliminate certain companies if I don't want to see them. Having to do specific filters for each individual search term is time consuming and doesn't always make sense either. Am I going to want to look at Internship jobs for search term ABC and then switch the filter to management level jobs for search term XYZ? Not really. Other filter improvements needed: 1. filters for full, part time, temporary, contract, etc job types. 2. Filters for jobs that use easy apply vs those that don't. 3. Universal filters for job hunts (such as the above) as well as specific filters for each search term. Spend some time in this app, Microsoft, and bring it up to speed with the other job apps out there that have offered these features for a while. In the meantime I will be using an app like Indeed.
  • Not working 1/5

    By Moigle1
I updated the app and now it does not work at all. I click on it and then it takes me back to my home screen. So much for fixing the bugs. Not happy at all!!!!!
  • Big quirk 1/5

    By Timbofosho
Update 4/12/2017: Updated the app this morning. It no longer works at all (which is only a SLIGHT decrease in functionality, believe it or not). I cannot understand how a technological company can continue to fail so miserably at producing a quality technological product! No need to download, it will just freeze and force close. Not bad, I use it regularly. They fixed some major bugs recently, so kudos for that! HOWEVER... I still can't raise my rating because the "track" function is in need of drastic upgrades. My phone literally grinds to a halt and I have no idea if the app has registered the touch on the button or not. Once it pulls up, it is very glitchy, i.e. the frozen screen takes twenty seconds to register a touch, inside a posting the premium insights/number of applicants doesn't upgrade for 60 seconds or more, an "applied for" job disappears from "applied" anytime I review the listing, etc. Finally, it doesn't show the length of time for the post on the app as it does on the computer. WHY?!?!?! Pretty important info! So for searching jobs, it's much improved. For viewing saved job info, there are MAJOR problems. iPhone 6+ iOS 10.2
  • Not impressed 2/5

    By scandelicious
Suggestions don't seem to make sense. App offers jobs in areas I'm not interested in or have never lived. But, mostly I'm annoyed that you can't rotate this app for use on an iPad.
  • SLOW! Not worth it! 1/5

    By asha7
Slow as molasses. Use this if you want to throw your phone out the window!
  • Two major things need to change. 2/5

    By iPod=]
Overall this app is great for finding jobs in specific areas but two things really get in the way of that. 1. Landscape mode = no brainer. Why the heck was that left out of the equation? 2. "See Jobs" button. Both on the Linked In website and actual Linked In app there is a 'see jobs' button for each company. Not having this on the Linked In Jobs app is a real pain in the butt and causes me to either have to use the desktop or go back and forth constantly between the regular and jobs apps. This is a huge downer for me and probably would have gotten the app four stars instead of two.
  • Buggy and Sooo slow. 1/5

    By Finimits
There's a bug. When you press "track", the app gets stuck. Lots of other places on the app also have bugs. Used to work much better. But now since April 2017, it's just gone totally mental.
  • Extremely slow with limited info 2/5

    By Mandawg98
I've been heavily searching for jobs for the last few months. This app is extremely slow and I'd rather use the full website, but the premium account limits the number of searches & contacts you can find and says that the app has unlimited usage. I've had to settle for suffering through the app!
