Very poor customer support 1/5
I have a gold subscription. For the past 10 days the app doesn’t open on my iPad. The only solution being offered is to reinstall the app and redownload all the magazines. This is in the FAQ section. Magzter support doesn’t bother to reply to complaints. Every other app on my iPad is working fine.
Update crashes 1/5
By Arvind K
The latest 6.15 version crashes on iPad 9.3.5. Please fix immediately as we are unable to open app for many days now.
Or working for iOS 11 1/5
Magzter has been a good app but isn’t working for iOS 11. Please look into it ASAP.
Spam should be effortless opt out 1/5
They sent junk mail to the address I used to sign up. I tried to unsubscribe and the webpage required my Magzter password.
Seriously? A password to prevent spam? App deleted.
Crap, Crap and more Crap 1/5
Most of the "magazines" are bogus. 10-20 pages. Even the people in the pictures look scared!
On top of that, you are continually ask to subscribe to things...where your Magzter 'subscription" should give you access to everything.
RUN AWAY! The folks are crooks!
A Real Gyp 1/5
Holds you hostage until you commit to pay $50.00! Then offers you "free" 30 days if you don't cancel, they wack your card! Pass them by!
The subscription worked and was able to have access to my magazines for about a month and then it didn't.
Waste of money!
Wasn't available to gain access to the magazines even though I paid for it.
When contacted costumer support was told to do whole bunch of technical staff to gain access, needless to say the problem wasn't solved!
The idea behind the subscription model is great but in reality be careful and think twice or you might be throwing your money away on something that doesn't work the way it should!
Trash App 1/5
Bad load times
Save your money and avoid
Good stuff 4/5
I like it it has a majority of the magazines that I read and their are a few that are not on it but that's ok!
Stole my money 1/5
Never got the app to work and they never refunded my money. Too bad I really wanted that mag subscription.
Cancel membership 1/5
I want to cancel my membership but I don't see that feature any where on the app or website, not cool...

Magtzer itself is less a magazine subscription service and is more a portal serving as a gateway to read and discover magazines you know and don't know. Upon setup the app lets you select your interests and after you are finished it sets up on the main page a lists of publications that fits what you like. The publications are endless covering the most popular such as Entertainment Weekly, GQ, Wired and many more to the more niche. The application basically functions as a way to set up your own magazine store where you not only quickly access publications you enjoy but the featured articles from the issues as well. In the article section is a stream of featured and popular stories. This is great for users who may not want to always dive in on a whole issue and rather read bits from various magazines covering similar topics. Like with almost any reading based application articles can be shared and saved for later. All the content in the app can be managed in the My Collection section. Magtzer is a unique application and therefore has a unique payment structure with the ability to subscribe to individual magazines, purchase individual magazine issues or subscribe to the service allowing you to access any of the 8, 000 plus publications. Magtzer sweetens the deal giving users a taste of the service with a free 30 day trial. For users of Zinio Magtzer will be familiar but it can be described as richer more complete platform that allows you to completely manage your magazine lifestyle.
Poor not worth it 1/5
Too many magazines require extra purchase. No information on how to quit if you are not satisfied.
Very easy for magazines
Deceptive subscription offer 1/5
Watch out! I was led to think that I would have annual access to all of the shown magazines that were offered. The ad shows magazines that require an additional subscription. Very misleading!!!!!
Not a good app..... 1/5
By Magzter is a mess!
This app bombards you with useless promotional messages and needless notifications and does not give you an option to opt out! Lousy app!
Won't let me cancel my subscription 1/5
Magzter charged my card without warning and there's option to cancel subscriptions within the app on IPhone.
Wonderful Buy 5/5
Magzter is simply wonderful - so easy to read, listen to and broaden horizons - glad I found this app
Family sharing is an issue 3/5
They said i can share access with four family members but it doesn't Offer a way to do it. It was the main reason why i resubscribed.
Also, it turns out that they show you all kindsbbqof magazine covers but it turns out you can ONLY read the ones with the yellow circle with the book logo ... The rest you have tocvapay extra to read ... Why not just be honest and explain that ... Which isn't explained until you try to use the system and you find that everything you want required a separate charge.
That's not right
Extremely disappointing purchase 1/5
Deceptive advertising doesn't explain the most desirable magazines require additional paid subscriptions. Most of the choices are obscure, e.g., Elevator World, tons of Asian, African and Indian magazines. Many publications haven't had issues posted for a long time, e.g., last available issue of The American Scholar was published in 2014. Avoid this rip-off site like the plague!
Very useful app 5/5
There is a variety of magazines to suit my needs, from Finance, Health to my regional magazine.
Just subscribed and paid 3/5
Cannot get access???
Really need auto download features for mags I read every month 3/5
By Reviewer 90034
Have gold. But it looks like magzter makes us make extra effort for downloading periodicals that I have interest in. Why do I have to search every month. Why cants it automatically be downloaded?
Wasn't exactly user friendly 2/5
After much frustration I was able to access my purchased digital copy. Once I got it was was good. I may try another mag at some point.
By Sultan Abbas.
It's just amazing application for those who love reading.
Awesome App and unlimited options 5/5
Having been gold subscriber for last two years. This has provided amazing reading platform across my devices and great content. Family plan feature is fabulous. Recommend this for anyone who likes to read.
Organizational Issues 3/5
Speedy downloads, but improvements needed in organizing these magazines. Prefer to have each issue under heading of each magazine title, instead of showing all of them in thumbnails. Total clutter and difficult to find older issues. Results in scrolling forever.
By Can't delete old mag apps
It's great for current subscriptions. Though once they expire or the mag quits production is a problem. I have not been able to remove any of them and Magzter told me to talk to Apple Store??? Still have all old mag apps on Magzter and can't find anyone to tell me how to delete!
Nice app... 5/5
Keep adding more magazines...
A good tool 4/5
By Blueteeth 35
This is a good APP. If more information, its better.
Great collection 5/5
It has a huge collection of articles with a wide variety of topics covered in one place. The app also contains exciting videos which keeps me entertained.
More Than A Magazine App 5/5
Magzter's iPhone app now offers tremendous content beyond the magazine. First articles and, now compelling videos. Keep innovating!
I'm glad that I came across this app and I really enjoy using it. Now, I am addicted to reading magazines and articles.
Disappointed in selection 2/5
I purchased the "gold" membership for $50. Mostly it's a bunch of old stuff that you can get free anywhere. Everything I want to read still requires a subscription fee. Disappointing.
Nothing but problems 1/5
I wanted to simplify my magazines so I went with subscribing thru iTunes in your app and have had nothing but problems since!!!
Now I'm sorry I wasted $49 on your Gold account!! This is the 3rd time I've asked for help! Nothing!!!
Thought doing it in a "Review" might get some action...
Great App 4/5
Great app to read magazines! Great selection and easy to use. Only thing on my wish list would be a way to tag the magazines as read after reading them.
Bad post customer service 1/5
By George Glez
Be careful, once you are charged by monthly or annual subscription and you have an issue, they did not provide good service and attention. I have spent a lot of time with an issue of my subscription and they always answer the same "We are sorry, but we could not identified your subscription in our records", even tough I sent them a copy of my credit card statement in which clearly you can see the charge from them. I only asked for change in the product and they could not find my subscription in their records (or at least is what they said). Too bad, because the Gold package is good (at least what you see in the advertisement).

By Safety Scott
I signed up for the free month and they charged me anyway.
They refused to give me a refund, so I closed my account. Do not get stuck with these people.
Not unlimited ! 1/5
Watch out...after paying the subscription they then want a fee per magazine too....when you ask to cancel they refuse. Criminals.
Crap App 1/5
By Bay Area Dad
Keeps deleting my downloaded and bought magazine issues. You'd have to constantly reload your purchases. Also, when changing passwords, it doesn't work right. It can't recognize some characters or digits. Something weird about this one.
This app doesn't even begin to have the selection that Readly and Texture have, unless you want to pay a monthly subscription for EACH magazine, because all of the good magazines aren't included in their unlimited monthly plan. It's all foreign stuff and random crap you can read for free with Issuu. I swear, every single time I see something I want to read, it isn't included in a subscription. If I wanted to subscribe to crap individually, I wouldn't pay for a subscription service like this!
This app has nothing to offer over any of the other magazine apps. Nothing. I'd rate it zero stars if I could.
Great App 4/5
Using on iPad Air 2 with gold unlimited plan. Love offline reading of magazines. No complaints, so far great.
Push notifications a real problem 2/5
By Mantle Fan
Too many and too often. 95 percent of them have nothing to do with my one magazine subscription (and you can't turn them off).
charged but did not receive 1/5
very sneaky. i have never submitted any review before ever but congrats magzter you have forced me to make my first and it's a zero star! was charged 7.50usd after the $0.99 three month gold trial ended but in the app it was showing my gold subscription was terminated! so i would have kept on being billed monthly for something i did not receive! be very careful with this company.
Unreliable and keeps trying to upsell 1/5
By Bee Vis
This service allows us to subscribe to 5 magazines for a price, the gold-lite. This is the service I chose. There's a better, more pricy service that has a much bigger variety called gold.
Firstly, after choosing my 5 magazines, the app or service forgets my choice. I have to re-subscibe regularly to access the magazines I want. This is a serious flaw, which maybe intended to make one upgrade to gold. But is shows disrespect to customers of the gold-lite bundle.
Also, the app constantly tries to make you choose the gold option. I'm already a subscriber, let me get on reading my magazines.
Good, but it's impossible to see what publications are new 3/5
If you get the "unlimited" version, and have many potential favorite magazines "faves" there is no precise indication of which magazines are new.
A flag appears once on top of the app to indicate somewhere among hundreds of magazines one , or more , are new. But there is no marker next to the magazines that are new. Old, previously read and new look identical.
Why can't they flag each new magazine.
Not user friendly 2/5
By Snooker Fan Columbus
Only got the app to look at a particular publication with several hundred pages. You can't easily go from one section to another, search for a word or annotate the text. Not very user friendly.
Good but can be better 4/5
While the interface works well on iPhone and iPad, the web interface is little clunky. Barring these missing features, I think this is a great value:
* no sync across devices - I have an iPhone as well as an iPad and if I read a magazine on one device, the app on other device should continue from where I left off.
* favorites organization is severely lacking - I have many magazines as favorite and I can only see magazines in the order I added them. There should be some way to sort/group items
degermi deger 5/5
turkce dergi desteği güzel ama bazı dergilerin yeni sayısı yok ingilizce dergi seceneği bol , hesabınızı 4 kişiyle paylaşabiliyosunuz
Room for improvement 3/5
I like the app but I don't understand you're paying for the ability to read magizes without having to pay for each time you read one however you have pay a lot more to read the popular ones! Doesn't make a lot of sense when ur already paying for Gold level!
